Personality:
Respectful and honest Leon was raised to be a gentlemen by his parents. He always keeps it in mind to treat people fairly regardless of gender, or age. He doesn't tend to look down on people but he does occasionally feel the need to look down on certain people who he feels do not deserve respect. Contrary to this however he is very much an elitist mage and feels that people who look down on him as a magus, or to those can't properly control their magic are beneath him in this regard. He views talent, and hard work is better than prestige or glory. Though he seeks to be the best magus he could possibly be he doesn't intend to get there through ill gotten means however he believe the holy grail is his chance to increase the chances of him making breakthroughs in his skill even if it means using it as a crutch.

He intends to look on any partner he receives in the grail war as a partner and as Master of Saber he takes great pride in his servant. He personally views Saber as a close friend of his, and doesn't intend to let him die if he can help it. Though he understands Saber's attitude when it comes to his convictions and allows him to act on them when he can but he is willing to use command seals if he needs to in order to make sure Saber doesn't make a mistake he will regret. He has full trust in his allies, and his servant is no different in this regard. Leon will fight with Saber until he is no longer able to do so himself though he intends to let Saber do most of the work as to maximize their shared mana pools. While not a coward Leon is willing to back away from a fight if it means he can win a future one.

Biography:

Born in a rural town in the Midwest of America he was the son of a well known magus duo whose families hail from Ireland, and Scotland. His parents were teachers, and instructors of magical arts and worked for the Mage Association's American branch. His parents had great hopes for him, and knew he would be a strong mage someday if they instructed him properly. Though his grand father (mother's side) disliked the idea of forcing on him his parents' highly disturbing fondness for exploring Magecraft he was none the less forced to agree that his parents had the right to raise their child as they saw fit.

Growing up around magi scholars would be both a boon, and a disadvantage for young Leon whom would grow up with some social issues. He would be so used to magic that his parents would have to put spells on him when he was around normal humans to temporarily prevent him from using magic even accidentally. He also knew better than to talk about magic to others and lacking very few other hobbies Leon would make very few friends with normal people. He would also need to work on both normal school curriculum alongside his Magi training that his parents put him through since he was able to comprehend basic level spells. Despite this his parents did indeed very much care for their child, and wanted him to reach his full potential so that one day he could become a strong magus.

He would continue to have very few friends into his teenage years where his father, and grand father would both personally start to teach him their own specialized magical forms. His father was a masterful wind mage, and his grand father knew water magics as well as anyone. He had shown an affinity for both early on in his life and he appreciated his father pushing and leaning on him more than his grand father otherwise he may have never discovered his limits and how to stay within them. He had high ambitions of one day perhaps running his own guild within the magical community, and one of his friends, Gabriel Mackindley, would prove to be a worthy rival as he pushed on Leon to keep himself on his toes. He cherished what few close friends he had, and was grateful for them. Within time he started to develop a certain reputation within his circle of magicians, and even some others as 'The Black Hand Magus' after beating many opponents in a dueling arena while wearing his signature black glove on his left hand. It was not anything he had expected and he only wore the glove because it was a gift from his grand mother whom was also a duelist in her time.

Before he really knew it he was growing into a young adult, and his skills with magic were becoming stronger with each fight as he figured out new ways to use them. Though he was worried he was going to hit his limit soon enough. His parents came to him one day and informed him that he had been chosen by the grail in the upcoming Fuyuki War he had not expected for him to receive such an honor but was then informed for some reason the Grail has selected several extra candidates as well for the war and that his parents had managed to gather this information earlier than expected as the grail war was planned for the next upcoming month. With little time to prepare his grand father, now aging and in a retirement home, offered him a crown he had found during his visits as a young man. Leon initially wanted to decline and take a catalyst from the Association but he was talked into it by his mother. Within the week he had prepared the summoning requirements and after a tense summoning session managed to summon Saber into this world. Saber was disgusted by the fact that he was of his class initially, and less pleased at being summoned in the first place. However Leon, after explaining to Saber his hopes for both of them, managed to get Saber to agree to join forces and the knight pledged himself to his new master. Leon, and Saber traveled to Japan shortly after with his friend Satsuko whom was teaching him Japanese in preparation for the war. Leon's hope is that he, Satsuko, and Saber can all return home one day and now resides in Fuyuki waiting for the war to actually start.

Arondight: The Unfading Light of the Lake is a holy sword wielded by Saber that is the counterpart of King Arthur's Excalibur. It bears a similar design to that of Excalibur, carved with Fairy Letters to show that it was a Divine Construct not forged by mortal hands. It is a limitless sword capable of receiving any attack without taking damage that shines much like the water of the Lake. It was given only to someone who could be exalted as the "perfect knight", the strongest, bravest and truest knight of an era, which signifies the unrivaled Saber out of all those who sat at the Round Table of Camelot.

The sword has lost its status as a holy sword after Saber used it to slay several of his fellow knights who were acting as guards of the execution of the Queen Guinevere. His magical energy, filled with his madness and resentment, would have turned the blade black if he had been summoned as Beserker. However in the state of Saber, it is bright gold as he is summoned in his full glory as a former knight of the round table. It is Saber's true Noble Phantasm, which seals For Someone's Glory and Knight of Honor once it is drawn. Due to the legend in which Saber slew a dragon, Arondight deals additional damage to Heroic Spirits like Arturia who have a "dragon" attribute.

Wish: "To impart his full wisdom of warfare to a student, and ensure his legacy continues to serve the good of his nation." This is something that he was able to start in his mortal life, but died before it could be fulfilled.

Personality: Zhuge Liang is a placid and calculating man who is always thinking one step ahead, and often have a handful of contingency plans, escape routes and alternate paths as back-up. He speaks with a polite and formal manner at all times, albeit terrifyingly so when he completely stumps his enemies. Though his intentions are sometimes questioned, he is indefinitely loyal to his lord or whoever his master is at that time. However, he does not tolerate unjust actions, and will push the limits of what he can do if he thinks his Master is evil at heart, no matter what it costs him. He stays by his morals in life and death, and that is "Diplomacy is the first step. Only when all fails that one resolves to war". But he doesn't gloat enemies he defeats, as "arrogance is the downfall of men."

He is a quiet man by nature, preferring to observe and analyse rather than be observed. Zhuge Liang does not believe in speaking unnecessarily or excessively, as running a loose tongue has more than once resulted in vital information being unwittingly leaked. He refuses to indulge in base pleasures like alcohol and women for the same reasons. However, he will make his thoughts known to his Lord or Master if he thinks it will be of help, or at least assist them in making a decision.

Bio:
EARLY LIFE
Zhuge Liang was born in Yangdu and was raised primarily by his uncle after being orphaned at a young age. He eventually moved to Jing providence and settled down at Wolonggong where he took up a hermit lifestyle, gardening by day and studying by night. It was during this time that Zhuge Liang became acquainted with several other famous scholars, including Xu Shu, Sima Hui, and Pang Tong.

At some point during this time as a recluse, Huang Chengyan offered his daughter in marriage to Zhuge Liang, stating, "I've an ugly daughter and I heard you're looking for a wife. She's red-haired and dark-skinned, but I think her talent matches yours." Zhuge Liang accepted the proposal and was soon wed.

Zhuge Liang's life as a recluse, however, would soon come to a premature end. Liu Bei had heard about the talent Liang possessed and made three personal visits to recruit him as his strategist. Impressed by Liu Bei's behavior, Zhuge Liang relented and joined Liu Bei's forces. Once under his service Zhuge and Bei became unable to be separated, sleeping in the same room as Liu Bei had once with his sworn brothers.

UNDER LIU BEI
Zhuge Liang's first major operation under Liu Bei confirmed by historical sources was providing reinforcements and a naval path for retreat at the Battle of Changban. After ensuring Liu Bei's arrival at Xiakou, Kongming went with Lu Su to seek an alliance with Sun Quan against Cao Cao. Gaining an audience with the Wu leader, Zhuge Liang set out to persuade him into action against Wei. He eventually won him over when he presented the two realities Sun Quan faced with the approaching Wei force, telling him "If you can use the forces of Wuyue to resist the central government, why not break ties with Cao Cao in advance? If you cannot oppose, why not demobilize the troops, discard your armor and surrender to the north?"

Having helped persuade Sun Quan into action, Zhuge Liang returned to Liu Bei and aided his forces in attacking Cao Cao at Chibi. Once victorious, Liang assisted Liu Bei in seizing control of Jing providence. After securing the land, Zhuge was appointed Military General of the Household, given charge of tax collection for Liu Bei's army. When Liu Bei departed to take Yi providence from Liu Zhang, Zhuge Liang remained with the other two brothers to defend and manage Jing providence. However, as the year progressed and Liu Bei struggled with his takeover, Zhuge Liang, Zhange Fei, and Zhao Yun were all dispatched with reinforcements, leaving only Guan Yu to guard Jing.

Once in command of Yi providence, Zhuge Liang was promoted to the rank of Military Advisor General, placing him firmly in charge of domestic affairs and the defense of Chengdu. Zhuge maintained this role stoutly, allowing Liu Bei to lead all future campaigns. When Cao Pi declared himself emperor, Kongming advised Liu Bei to do the same, persuading him to become ruler of Shu Han. Upon taking this role, Liu Bei in turn appointed Zhuge Liang chancellor, second only to himself. After the disastrous battle of Yiling, Liu Bei took ill and instructed Zhuge Liang to carry on his ambition of uniting the land, telling him in private to depose his son, Liu Shan, should he prove inept. Zhuge Liang tearfully promised to "do my utmost and serve with unwavering loyalty until death."

UNDER LIU SHAN
Fortunately for Liu Shan, Zhuge Liang considered him adept enough to help him become the second emperor of the Shu Han dynasty. Despite Shan’s ascension to the throne, he quickly appointed Kongming as governor of Yi, giving him full authority over any matter of state.

Liang wasted no time in rebuilding Shu from its previous defeat, working to reestablish the alliance between them and Wu by sending a constant stream of ambassadors to keep relations good. Despite these efforts and advances, Zhuge Liang was delayed in preparing for war with Wei by the rebellion of the Nanman tribes.

The records on the southern campaigns and Zhuge Liang's participation in them is mixed, with claims ranging from complete victory for Shu to mixed victories until their superior numbers overcame the southern tribes. The most famous of the accounts claims Ma Su recommended winning the hearts of the Nanman through mercy, which Zhuge Liang showed by capturing and releasing Meng Huo, the Nanman leader, seven times. However, these campaigns could have been handled entirely by Fa Zheng instead. Either way, the tribes were subdued to ensure their obedience as well as gather supplies for Zhuge Liang's northern campaigns.

NORTHERN CAMPAIGN & DEATH
Now sufficiently prepared, Kongming now turned his attention towards Wei. Zhuge Liang engaged in several campaigns which he fought in a very conservative manner, never incurring more than five percent losses in his forces. In his first campaign, Zhuge Liang attacked both Tianshui and Jieting in order to gain the upper hand on his true objective, Chang'an. Although successful in the campaign at Tianshui, even managing to convince Jiang Wei to serve as his pupil and serve Shu instead of Wei, the battle at Jieting proved catastrophic and Zhuge Liang was forced to withdraw.

The second campaign focused on Chencang and once again went poorly for Zhuge Liang, this time due to the efforts of the city’s defender Hao Zhao. Zhao managed to provide a staunch defense for three weeks while holding out for reinforcements. Despite this loss, Liang gained a small victory after retreating when he destroyed the pursuing Wei force with a well placed ambush.

The third campaign consisted of Zhuge Liang attacking Jianwei. Although he was successful and able to drive off Guo Huai, the lands he seized required too much man power for Kongming to hold, causing him to fall back. On his way back to Shu, the Wei army attacked under the lead of Sima Yi, Zhang He, and Cao Zhen, which Zhuge Liang repulsed mightily, partly due to the large amount of rain blocking smaller access roads for the Wei army’s advance and limiting where they could fight.

On the fourth campaign, Zhuge Liang attacked both Mt. Qi and Shanggui, splitting his efforts between the two battles, forcing Sima Yi to constantly shift between both battles. He also cleverly harvested the land’s own spring wheat to feed his army. Despite these victories, Sima Yi's army proved to be too numerous for any victory to prove decisive, eventually depleting Kongming's resources and forcing him to retreat. Once again, Zhuge Liang proved his cleverness in his retreat by placing a crossbow ambush which defeated Zhang He’s pursuit force, costing the Wei officer his life.

Zhuge Liang's final northern campaign targeted the Wuzhang plains in an attempt to surround Chang'an once again. Unfortunately for him, Guo Huai predicted this often repeated strategy and the Wei forces were able to force Zhuge Liang into a stalemate at the plains. The standoff remained even as a failed attempt at a two pronged attack with Wu failed, leaving Zhuge Liang frustrated and exhausted. Such exhaustion eventually gave way to sickness, which claimed his life. Before dying, he instructed Shu to keep his death secret, with Yang Yi spearheading another ambush against Wei's probing vanguard to convince Sima Yi that Kongming still lived. It was only once the army returned to Shu that his death was made public.

Weapon(s): A crane feather fan (as seen in the 'Appearance' image) that is more suited for defensive than offensive. When it's not activated, it can only perform as a shield and bladed war fan. While it can block magical attacks up to Rank B, it's slashes cannot break through magical defenses higher than Rank C.

Description:
A legendary military formation set by Zhuge Liang at the occasion when he decided for his army to take flight. Composed by huge rocks, said formation bewildered invaders and drove them to death. Sublimated into a Noble Phantasm, it becomes a greater magic that takes a day to prepare, transforming where enemies is standing into Stone Sentinel Maze upon command from the creator. When the command phrase is said and the formation activated, it will only trap those within range. As long as the enemies couldn't get out, they will take damage to health every turn.

Description:
Given by Liu Bei for his services as a personal advisor, the crane feather fan has seen him through his entire life until his death. In his mortal life, it served as a symbol of office, and later, an item he used in commanding his army. Each swipe and turn of this fan allow the field captain of each squad to interpret his motives. When this Noble Phantasm is activated, he is able to use this fan to guide the movements of a light cavalry squad of twenty mana-created soldiers in various formations, whether it be caging the enemy, cutting them off, etc.

Personality: A spellcaster specializing in blood and sacrifice, Brynhilda is no stranger to slaughtering life animals for the sake of research, rituals and performing spells. This school of magic requires a particular disposition, namely, one who would not hesitate to pull apart living sacrifices or dead ones. One who would not falter at supplications until the required amount of suffering from the sacrifice has been reached. When she offers her sacrifices in return for mana and spells, her iron will suppresses all emotions and allows her to perform rituals of intense ruthlessness and heinousness. She was taught to present herself externally, and control herself internally. For only a failure would lose oneself in the joy of the slaughter. Students of this school are not mindless murderers, but vessels who uses blood as means to achieve greatness.

In contrary to what one will expect from a dark art practitioner, Brynhilda is not apathetic, stoic, or emotionless. She keeps up a serious, no-nonsense facade, yes, but as per her teachings, she allows her emotions to shine through. Her control is all concentrated inwardly, meaning she can keep her cool when things are going to hell. She freely expresses pain, anger, happiness or sorrow and have no qualms in making her opinion on matters known. Which helps her better maintain her cover in the modern human world as a doctor.

While she may not care much for the fate of humans and magus in general, seeing the former as ingredients for experiments and the latter as back-dated, controlling freaks who shuns practitioners of the dark arts in fear of the unknown at the cost of lost potentials and possibilities, Brynhilda does not actively seek their destruction. After all, in order to continue her work, an inhabited world is vital. As she does not have many friends - magus or otherwise - willing to associate with her due to her frankly unsettling fascination with blood, she always remembers anyone who has done her a favour, and any debts she might owe people. If there's one redeeming feature about this spellcaster, it is her certainty to repay her debts, no matter if said person is "good" or "bad".

Biography: An old bloodline originating from Bavaria, Southern Germany, members of the Zepter Family experimented with perfecting resurrection of the dead. Whilst they did succeed in restoring the body to a perfect semblance of life, even allowing bodies with missing parts to accept foreign organs with ease, they could never achieve perfect retrival of the soul. Due to their practices being taboo in the eyes of the Association, the Zepter Family cut themselves off from the outside world to carry out their experiments, and began on the wrong path without realizing it. Steadily, with rare outside interactions, their numbers declines over several generations. The final head, Heinrich Zepter, became a heretic by creating monstrous fusions of man and beast in a fashion similar to Frankenstein and was hunted down by the Association together with any other Zepters in sight. It was then the Zepter name became even more tainted than it previously was, scorned by other greater families, especially when the Zepter Magic Crest died with Heinrich.

Born to one of the lucky Zepter couple who managed to escape execution, Brynhilda was three years old when her father decided to fold into the Yggdmillennia Family for protection after multiple failed attempt to locate surviving kin. Tired of constantly looking over their shoulders, her parents gladly renounced their Family and took on the surname of Yggdmillennia. She grew up amongst other magus from various diminishing bloodlines, and eventually became rather attached to an old dark arts practitioner, much to her parents' disgust and disapproval. Hoping to dissuade their daughter from going down a shunned path, her father told her everything about the Zepter family, their taboo actions and how they fell due to Heinrich's deeds.

But far from dissuading her, Brynhilda developed a clear goal in mind, to restore the Zepter name to its old glory. And for that to happen, she needed to learn all she could from the older woman, her chosen teacher. However, with the Magic Crest of the Zepter bloodline gone, the closest she could get to flesh-stitching necromancy was the blood magecraft. Under the guidance of her Teacher, Brynhilda slowly grew apart from her parents and the rest of the Yggdmillennia members. She started to spend more time down in her claimed lab, learning different spells, rituals and runes. When she hit the age of eleven, she had gone on to carving small animals like rodents, non-venomous snakes and common birds open. These small sacrifices allowed her to tap into small spells, like creating small needles of crystallized blood and so forth. Each year, she moved up to bigger animals until she mastered the creation of blood crystals, one of her teacher's spells. At this time, she was fifteen.

A year later, the old crone passed away, leaving her notes behind for Brynhilda to study. With the only dark arts practitioner gone, she began to wonder if there was anyone else to turn to. Maybe not within the Yggdmillennia Family, but maybe within the Association. So she started reaching out to spellcasters of other lineage and specialisations, only to be turned away when they learned of her name, and her chosen school of Magecraft. It was here her resentment of the Association began to fester and grow. Couldn't they see past the stigma of dark arts practitioner? Couldn't they see how most of the research performed that were labeled taboo could help make previous impossibilities become possibilities?

By the time she turned eighteen, Brynhilda had given up seeking help from the Association. Although careful not to cross the line by using humans to perform rituals and keeping her half-finished blood golem spell from being discovered, she stayed as a member of the Magus Association. After all, they were the ones who provided places and people to test against. However, she relocated into the human world, away from cities and areas with high populations of magus, eventually finding herself back in southern Germany where the Zepter Family first gathered and grew in numbers all those years back. It was in Freiburg that she slowly integrated into modern life, adjusting to the various technologies available at hand and working odd jobs in order to pay for her expenses. While she may have no lack of money for a few years thanks to her entitled inheritance from her parents, Brynhilda found it logical to acquire more access, especially if she wanted to have a house and workshop of her own, as well as purchase any equipment she will need in future experiments. With her knowledge of human and animal bodies, she spent seven years in college to get a doctorate, using her spare time to research and complete spells to increase her arsenal.

The first and only time she used a human sacrifice was two years later, at the age of 27. She had gotten a job at the local hospital, and was on the way home when she witnessed a hit and run. The man laid bleeding from a head injury on the curb, and she brought him back to her house. Drugging him to the roots of his hair, she proceeded to pull him apart as she did countless times on various animals. The power she felt from that ritual was intoxicating, indeed, but she feared it all the same. Because for the first time since her first year of performing rituals, she felt her iron-clad control break. There was a heady rush of bloodlust following the europhic high of power. So much so that for a moment, she seriously contemplated going out and dragging another stranger home. But the teachings of her late master killed the urge before it could take hold. Form then onwards, she stayed clear of human sacrifices, instead focusing on trying ways to recreate the same power from other sources.

As her thirtieth birthday came and went, Brynhilda was approached by Daric Prestone Yggdmillennia, who informed her that she had the honour of being chosen to participate in the Fuyuki War. Since that announcement, she has been given complete access to the Yggdmillennia libraries in search of a summoning ritual that can give her the ideal Servant in order to win this War.

School of Magecraft: Earth and Blood

Skills/Spells List:
- Eyes of Petrification - mixture of Earth spell and blood runes: Can only be used once and requires a week of preparation. A King cobra is sacrificed, its blood used for the ritual and after, the blood on her hands is used to draw the required runes between her eyes and left for a week. While named after Medusa's power of turning people into stone through direct eye-contact, it only serves in paralyzing the victim. However, once eye contact is severed, the spell terminates.
- Blood golems - 2-3 times every three days depending on the size of the golem: By ingesting blood of sacrificed animals, she is able to conjure them up in blood form. They will stay as long as her mana doesn't run out, she didn't dismiss them or the opponent doesn't deal a killing blow/critical wound.
- Hardened Earth - 2 times a day: Coats her skin with a layer of stone 2cm thick. Depending on which areas of her body she wants to protect, the layer of that particular area will be thicker. However, if say she wishes to protect her heart as much as possible, the stone layer will migrate to her chest, leaving all her other body parts unprotected. The spell ends once all stone upon her skin is shattered.
- Blood crystal - 5 times a day: By sacrificing animals, rearranging their innards and allowing their blood to dry on her hands, she can then summon blood crystal shards to shoot towards enemies in battle. It's like a bullet in that it only travels in a direct line.
- Earth Manipulation - 3 times a day: Manipulation of earth and stone.
- Blood Mist - 2 times a day: Conjure a thick blood mist over a 10m radius that makes seeing within it difficult. It's mostly used like a smokescreen to cover a retreat or employ guerrilla tactics, although mostly the former since it covers a considerably small area.

Extra Eqipument: She has a pouch of five dissecting scalpels on her of various sizes and she is not afraid to whip to out to use, either on a human or animal.

Personality: Albert is, in a word, an upstart and an imp (and not just because of his size). Born the heir to the infamous and now derelict Prelati family of summoners who never quite escaped the shadow cast by Francois Prelati (the accomplice to Gilles de Rais' murders and author of Prelati's Spellbook), he's had a chip on his shoulder all his life, and magus society seems determined to never let him or his family forget what they did. This however has only made Albert more determined to show them up and prove people's ideas about his family wrong. He takes great pride in his family's abilities and their legacy (minus one), and displays a single-minded bloody obsessiveness with proving it to the world. His only goal, his only desire is to see the Prelati family restored to its former glory, and to that end he's dedicated his life to his craft. He's the type who puts on a facade of professionalism, and prefers to distance himself from others so as to appear noble and proper in a way he imagines befits a Prelati. Because of his own preconceived notions and stubborn, defiant attitude, he can be extremely arrogant when he wants to be, but ultimately, his heart lies with his family instead of his own personal goals.
Biography: Ignored and spurned by everyone outside of his family for most of his childhood, Albert learned to take comfort in the company of familiars, apparitions, wraiths and other summoned creatures. Because he had no one else besides his small pool of living relatives, they became like good friends, or even a second family. He surrounded himself with them to ease his loneliness, which eventually attracted attention when people began to notice the sheer size and complexity of his menagerie. Those around him quickly came to realize that even by the standards of his family, who had always enjoyed a (tarnished) reputation for their skills as summoners, Albert was a genius. This was enough to earn him a spot and a scholarship in the Clocktower, something which irked many of his teachers and classmates to no end. To say they found him a bit creepy would be an understatement. Rather, he was just as despised at the Clocktower for being a Prelati as he had been at large. And while this maybe could have been avoided had he not continued to sequester himself in his room, surrounded by nothing but his research and familiars, Albert didn't mind. He'd long ago stopped seeking their approval. Rather, he'd grown to resent them, and his singleminded obsession with "proving" something wholly unspecific to the world to make them recognize the Prelatis again became his sole motivation for attending school and improving his skills as a magus. Upon hearing of this new Holy Grail War, Albert finally saw the answer to his problems. What better way to restore the Prelatis to prominence and prove his genius to the world than by taking home the Holy Grail? He'd summon the strongest Servant, Berserker, and show everyone just how much finesse and control he had when commanding his monster.

School of Magecraft: Summoning/Spiritual Evocation & Alchemy
Skills/Spells List: Albert is an expert when it comes to spirits and ghosts, and prides himself on his ability to conjure and control powerful familiars. While he himself is not versed in any kind of combat magic, he has a number of autonomous familiars, ones which do most of his fighting for him. They will be listed under spells.

• Offerings to the Outsiders: The Sorcery Trait unique to the Prelati family which allowed Francois Prelati to create his infamous spellbook. Members of the Prelati family have a unique connection to the creatures of some unknown alternate dimension that allows them to summon them as temporary familiars. The creatures, classified as "Horrors" or "Sea Demons", are formed using the blood and dead bodies of animals, usually taking the shape of grotesque alien sea creatures resembling monstrous cnidarians or cephalopods. They will regenerate endlessly so long as the magus can provide them with prana, and are capable of crushing a man to death, as they are little more than clumps of muscle with mouths and no bones that can contort and fit into any space larger than their smallest hard parts. With enough time and preparation, a monstrous beast in the form of a book similar to the one made by Francois Prelati can be produced by someone possessing this Sorcery Trait. However, it would take years of one's life to create, and usually cannot boast the same enormous supply of magical energy that book was capable of granting. Albert is just as capable of summoning these Horrors as any of his predecessors, and can maintain up to three or four while also providing for Berserker, six under optimal conditions (so long as he limits their regenerative abilities enough to prevent self-replication). However he finds their use distasteful, as they are ugly, brutish, and remind him of Francois. He can summon Horrors twice a day, after which they become largely self-sufficient if allowed to replenish their mana by consuming souls, which Albert normally does not allow.
• Memory Partition: While by no means the primary focus of his studies, Albert has spent some time learning the basic principles of Alchemy, and can manage up to four "rooms", or four independent thought processes. He's considered attempting five before, but always reneges on doing so, as he is more concerned with his summoning than Alchemy.
• Thought Acceleration: Another basic skill of Alchemy Albert learned in his studies. Combined with Memory Partition, Albert can perform calculations and problem-solve at a much faster rate than a normal human which, with diligent and frequent use, has helped him learn so much from the Clocktower in such a short amount of time (a.k.a "The Granger Gambit"). It's a double-edged sword not normally suited for combat however, as it requires great concentration and stillness, and an acceleration of more than 5x human average causes a slow buildup of excess heat in the brain that can eventually lead to a stroke.
• Familiars: Albert possesses a number of basic animal familiars both large and small, including a pack of large black dogs he likes to call his "hounds". He can make new familiars fairly quickly, finishing a handful of smaller animals in a day and spending maybe a week to create a group of bigger animals like the hounds. Larger animals, like lions, tigers and bears (oh my) may take a few days to a week on their own, but Albert has done it before. His current accompaniment of familiars includes his pack of hounds, a fox, an owl, a slime, some plague rats, and a hive of demonic bees.
• Apparitions/Wraiths: Albert can summon and control wraiths haunting the local area as well as fairy-like apparitions similar to the ones used by Misaya Ouji. As these are both fundamentally the spirits of the dead, making them lower class spirits by default, Albert doesn't have much problem summoning and controlling them, and they can make for useful tools and distractions. He can summon and control about a dozen or so Apparitions a day, and can summon the Wraiths haunting an area five times a day.

Other: His favorite familiar, which has been with him the longest, is Goliath, a Guardian Spirit in the form of a fully grown adult male liger with the dapper personality of a foppish English gentleman. Personality: Ren Mizushima is a kind, polite and well-intentioned young man, but sadly also a complete doormat. The kind of person you'd love to meet at a company outing or have as an employee, but not exactly the outspoken, confident type you'd want to take charge of a situation. Critically aware of his own limitations, Ren can come off as shy or unsure of himself, but possesses an intense desire to improve himself. He loves to learn and read books, especially books on history, and is a responsible student and apprentice (some might say to the point of ass-kissing, but that brings us back to "doormat"). While it may look at times like he lets people walk all over him, he is in fact fiercely intelligent and witty, and will sometimes satisfy himself with petty-but-harmless pranks or a well-placed barb spoken under his breath (but never anything overt enough to be noticed or taken seriously). If asked what desire he has of the Holy Grail's power, he could give you nothing but vague platitudes, although one senses the presence of buried ambition even he is not aware of...
Biography: Imagine waking up one day to find that the world no longer holds any secrets. Anything and everything is an open book before your prying eyes, dumping encyclopedia's worth of information directly into your brain like they're reciting their life's story to you. Everything talks. There's no escape from the non-stop barrage of information. The noise hurts your head, you lose your ability to focus on anything, and you end up learning and hearing far too many things you shouldn't. You think you're going mad. So does everyone else. Maybe they're right.

That was the life of Ren Mizushima after he awakened to his magical gift of Pure Eyes. A rare mutation in an otherwise non-magic family, Ren's ability first manifested in his freshman year of high-school, leaving him practically paralyzed and laid down in bed for days during his first week of school. As his condition worsened, he was moved from hospital to hospital in the hopes that someone would try and figure out what was wrong with him. His mother, a single parent, worked overtime to pay the medical bills, and yet there was no end in sight. No matter what they did, no one could seem to identify what was ailing him so.

Then, one day while he was alone in his hospital bed, his eyes screwed shut as he tried to sleep, he was visited in the middle of the afternoon by a suspiciously youthful-looking man who claimed to be a professor from a school calling itself "the Clocktower". Moreover, he called himself a mage. Even after he explained the situation to Ren, the teen refused to believe it. Magic? Give him a break. Obviously something was just screwed up with his head. It was explainable, and that meant it had to be fixable. That's what he hoped, anyway. That even though modern medicine was quickly running out of tests and diagnoses to use on him, they'd eventually find something that'd work, and relieve him of this never-ending assault on his mind, this data-dump of things he couldn't and didn't care to know.

It was only when he offered him the glasses that Ren's opinion of the fake professor changed. Simply slipping on the glasses gave him instant relief. The barrage of information ceased, as if well and truly by magic. His mind opened somewhat, Ren was willing to hear the professor out now. What he told him shocked him, but also excited and relieved him. His condition was explainable, and treatable. Just not by modern science. The professor could teach him how to better control it if he so wished, so one day he might be able to live without the glasses. He even offered to teach him some magic if, in exchange, he agreed to take a position as his apprentice.

What followed were four years of higher education in an almost literal sense as Ren traveled the globe with the professor, learning more about magecraft and the hidden world it concealed (as well as finishing his regular studies; never let it be said that the professor neglects his students' need for a classical education). He learned a lot from the professor, and taught him a lot as well, even if he wished he'd been taught more proper spells instead of magical theory. They shared many adventures, though not always willingly, and eventually it began to look like there might be a place for Ren in the world of mages after all. Maybe even in the Clocktower.

Now, with the professor ready to tackle yet another hurdle placed before him in the name of earning more fortune and prestige, Ren has been dragged along once again to assist him in the matter of the Holy Grail War. Because he already has a home and a family in Fuyuki, bringing Ren along as an assistant and local guide made perfect sense to the professor, even if it exasperated Ren. Sent ahead to prepare a place to stay at his house and gather the necessary materials for the professor's arrival, he has little idea what kind of excitement and chaos is about to enter his life and bring danger to his hometown.

• Pure Eyes: Ren possesses an unusual and potentially rare type of Pure Eyes that allow him to retrocognitively determine the history of people, places, and objects. Normally manifesting as a sort of "intuition" about any object within his field of view, the eyes can only "see" the precise trajectory an object has taken through time and space when Ren is touching it, allowing him to determine not only its previous location but its precise physical attributes past and present, as well as giving him a brief vision of any significant events the object was involved in and anyone or anything who may have touched or used it in the past. While not life-threatening, the vast libraries of information conveyed by the Pure Eyes simply through sight can be quite disorienting and thus they require the use of Mystic Eye Killers in every day life.
• Mana Dowsing: Locates objects and people within a 50m radius and gives the caster a crude mental image of the local terrain within 200m based on the flow of mana. Useful for mapping local leylines, and requires a two-line incantation. Can be used eight times a day.
• Panacea: Saturates water with the mana of the caster, imbuing it with healing properties that rejuvenate the cells, stimulate bone growth and promote healthy skin and smoother hair. Requires direct skin contact with the altered water as well as a five-line incantation. Can be used six times a day.
• Curse of Desiccation: Removes water and fluids from the targeted body, be it animate or inanimate. Larger volumes of fluids will take longer to dry out. Activated by touch plus a ten-line incantation. Can be used twice a day.

This armoury contains multitude of traps, blades, firearms and other such tools, but more powerful tools are more costly to summon. His strongest weapon is his A-ranked Mechanical Crossbow, which is actually the sealed form of another more costly Noble Phantasm. Most of his weapons are B or C ranked.

Description: This noble phantasm channels Archer's roots as a hunter to prey upon the weaknesses of its targets. Requiring Archer to be aware of his target's True Name, his weapon can be unsealed and the bolts become imbued by the very concept of that weakness, or their Achilles's heel. A Servant who's legend ended with poison would be struck with an incurable venom, or a servant of ice would be thawed by inextinguishable flame, for example. A taxing Noble Phantasm, Archer must wait at least 72 hours before he can use it again, and at least 12 hours before he can use Hunter's Tools. During this time, he is slightly weakened and is less effective in combat. Only Servants with high enough Endurance or Mana Stats can endure a blow from this Phantasm, A Ranked or higher on it's own or B with Magic resistance Ranked A or Higher.

Abraham Van Helsing

Abraham Van Helsing started life as a humble, but talented doctor. In his first adventure, he traveled the world and faced a powerful Dead Apostle who had stolen the name of Vlad III. He single handily faced down and defeated the monster but made his first and only mistake in his career. He did not kill it. As a result of this, his close friend Mina Harker was trapped as a Vampire for the rest of her unnatural life. Although he tried to find a cure he could not and Mina fled him and stayed as far away as possible, knowing they would eventually kill one another. Van Helsing swore he would not make the same mistake again. He was brutal and remorseless to his prey and showed no mercy - endlessly perpetuating the cycle of vengeance.

Essentially abandoning his previous life, he flung himself into a new line of work and began a dedicated monster hunter. Fuelled by grief and self loathing, he became the best of the best. Vampires. Werewolves. Demons. Ghouls and zombies and ghosts. These terrors hid in every corner of the world. Van Helsing became the torch that shone light upon the darkness before swiftly crushing the monsters head with his boot.

He encountered Bram Stoker, who used his life as a model for his book. The true Van Helsing was much younger and had far more experience, though he much less possessed the same personality - patient, kind, mild-mannered, but with a razor wit and great eye for details. Though Bram Stoker originally wanted to keep the details about Mina true, believing it was a marvellous and realistic tragedy, Van Helsing begged Stoker to give her a happy ending. The fame he gained from the book catapulted him straight to the Throne of Heroes upon death

Personality: Presenting himself as rather cold and unattached, James has a personality expected of a seasoned assassin rather than that of a young man not even out of his teens. He is able to change his demeanour quickly, adapting to what he perceives to be the best course of action if he needs to, but his usual personality is gentlemanly but cold. He upholds good manners, but rarely smiles and doesn't care for the emotional state of those he is talking to. When angered, he behaves in much the same way as he usually does, but is notably more violent. He is also harsh against those that he views as wasting time or incompetent.

Despite this, he can come across has more easy going and caring around people he trusts, including his Servant and his family. He likes to banter with his servant while not fighting, and will occasionally make witticisms about events or circumstances. He doesn't show regret or remorse for what he has done, or how he lives, but occasionally admits regret about leaving his family behind when they needed him.

Biography: Born and raised to a minor magus family in England, James has always been an outlier to normal mage society. He was largely disinterested in the magical training and was more interested in things typical of normal boys, but still excelled in his lessons out of respect for his parents. His sister was born 4 years after him, and they were very close from the start. This all changed when he turned 12, when his family was attacked by a group of rogue magi. His father was killed, his sister crippled and his mother also seriously injured while he himself was rendered unconscious with multiple severe injures, but not before he witnessed a freelance spell-caster eliminate them all using a combination of magecraft and kenjutsu (japanese swordplay). The woman, Shirogane Aoi, was incredibly skilled and defeated them all without a scratch. This event and the injures he received to his magic circuits caused his origin to change as a result of a hatred of mages he had very quickly grown.

When he recovered enough, he sought her out and begged for her to train him. After weeks of begging, she finally relented and took him under wing. After informing his mother of his decision, he had to leave her and his sister (who was put into a coma to help her heal) to travel with Aoi while he trained as an assassin specialising in anti-mage contracts. In the following 6 years, he trained in many skills, magical (even developing a unique form of magecraft) and non-magical. In that time, they also investigated the group that attacked his family, but Aoi refused to allow him to hunt them down until he was ready. On his 18th birthday, she let him go before mysteriously disappearing. He hasn't seen her since.

After taking down the ringleaders of the group in a string of systematic assassinations, he travelled back to England to reunite with his family. Already aware of the grail wars, his subconscious wish to save and protect his family marked him as a Master for the next war.

  James has been trained to use a gun since he was 12 years old. He spent over 6 years refining that knowledge and is now deadly skilled with almost every gun he can find. His preferred weapons of choice are medium to long range weapons with a sidearm as a back-up. His hideout for the grail war has several weapons with the appropriate ammo.
• Kenjutsu
  Another skill he has trained since he was 12, his skill with a katana is very finely tuned and he could outskill most opponents of the same field. His katana is very finely made and was a gift given to him by his mentor Aoi on his 18th birthday before she let him go and disappeared herself. James has this sword on a stand in his hideout and, in combat, instead uses his old sword, a plain katana that he used during his training.

  An important part of using weapons to fight is making sure that they are cared for properly, so that they operate as smoothly as possible. James knows his weapons inside and out, both his guns and his swords, so he makes sure to properly maintain them.

Amina is a righteous individual who holds noble convictions to heart. She is an austere, reserved woman whose unyielding passion to duty is an unquenchable flame. Biography:
Amina is the current head of the Eldar family, a group within the Mage's Association that is peculiar for their lineage alone. The Eldar family is perhaps the last surviving line of the Narts, a race of superhuman humanoids that ruled the Caucasus during the age of myth. The Eldar family used to be composed of exceptional witches who could fully use their monstrous blood to incredible effect, but lately, most likely due to the fact that every Eldar has been obnoxiously stubborn, the heirs of the family have practiced witchcraft less and less.

Amina is no exception. She reviled the selfish nature of magecraft and only learnt the basics of it, making sure to keep her bloodline's secrets and spells alive with a bare minimum of effort. Instead of magecraft, she instead trained herself in the physical arts instead. From an early age, she mastered hand to hand combat and usage of her spirit weapon: the rapier. Eventually, she found herself working in the clocktower as a hand to hand combat teacher, which best suited her needs and talents.

On the side, she worked together with Enforcers, helping them when they needed extra support. It is from these excursions to hunt down heretical magi that she has gained an understanding of the injustice that people can commit to accomplish their goals. When she heard of the holy grail war ritual, she immediately took to participating in it after leaving her will and family affairs in order.

Iron Imbue
A spell that mimics the goddess Satanaya granting her son an invincible body of iron. This spell is in effect an extremely advanced form of reinforcement that only works on living beings. Rather than enhancing the structural concept of the organism, it instead simply adds a concept of invincibility to it. The invincibility is simply a name, and does not actually grant true invulnerability. Once this blessing is imbued on an individual, that individual gains a powerful resistance to physical and magical harm for a few seconds. Conceptual weapons bypass this blessing.

Skills:
Nart
Amina descends from the Narts, a race of superhuman peoples in Ossetian myth. As a result, she has extraordinary physical power, letting her match Church executors and Eastern martial artists in a test of fists. In addition, her skin is hard like steel, representing the Nartian legend that the Narts were forged for battle. It is extremely difficult to significantly harm Amina through physical means alone. Magic that does not use natural means such as a simple fireball or force blast will bypass Amina's durability. So spells such as curses will not be negated.

The Narts swore an oath to always be heroic lest they die, and this oath still binds Amina, albeit to a lesser extent. Her mental state is unassailable and constantly aligned with good, but if she were to break her values of honor, she would lose her iron skin and superhuman strength for a day. It was also said that the Narts were one with war and weaponry, and indeed were so close with their weapons that their very souls resided in them. A Nart and his weapon were not two separate items, but rather a cohesive whole. Amina continues that tradition.

Her soul rests in her weapon, a rapier. This rapier is in turn supernatural by nature. It has high affinity to slay spiritual beings and is nigh indestructible, as destroying it would equate to destroying Amina herself. The humanoid body that wields the sword is more of an anchor that stabilizes the spirit blade in the world. Amina can actually survive if her body is destroyed as long as she is wielded by another being and thus anchors herself to them.

Master Fencer
Amina is an extraordinarily skilled fencer, outclassing human limits by a long shot. Her skill reaches into the realm of monsters and myth, which is fitting considering her blood. She compensates for her lack of magical prowess with her raw finesse in swordplay, letting her fight distinguished magi and executors on even ground with bladework alone. Combined with her raw strength, this skill allows Amina to be a monstrous force in close quarters combat, but at the same time leaves her completely unable to handle long ranged combat. Olyndicus was a renowned druid and prophet of his people even before wielding his famed spear. His knowledge in the mystic arts of nature and fate allowed him to rally the support of his kinsmen. This skill is also what allows Olyndicus to channel the strength of his divine disease without self-destructing. Capability to use druidic magecraft and revelation at B rank are implied in this skill. The double modifiers appear when Olyndicus channels the strength of the Dagda during the night.

Infernal Guerrilla Tactics of the Midnight God: A
Olyndicus was famed for his cunning and tactics employed during the cover of the night. With but few tribesmen, he constantly warred with the numerically superior Roman forces, proving to be a sharp thorn in their side. Olyndicus was known to have mirrored the infernal night god Dagda, and thus employed devious tactics in his name. This skill grants Olyndicus exceptional strategic insight during the night, granting him an affinity to fight against greater numbers or stronger individuals than himself. It is also difficult to sense his presence during the night, as he visually melds into darkness and his spiritual presence attains a masking equivalent to presence concealment at the B rank. During the cover of night, Olyndicus gains a "right of way" for his first attack coming out of unnoticed darkness, letting that attack be unnoticed until the moment it is unleashed. The gods of South America were developed from alien microbes, and the alien mechanism ATTILIGHT formed the basis for the Olympian gods. This spear holds the original alien microbe that formed the basis of the Irish pantheon. Remnants of the Irish gods originating from microbes remains strong in the God's Holder tradition, where a hereditary virus passes down authority to wield divine weapons for human beings, as is the case with the enforcer Bazett.

To be specific, this spear holds the divine makeup of the high god Dagda, who was described as a great divinity that controlled life and death within the old Irish pantheon. Olyndicus was said to be much like the infernal night god Dagda by the Romans, operating in the night and performing rituals in his name. By holding this spear and channeling its strength, Olyndicus infects himself with the disease that composes the Dagda.

Olyndicus keeps his infection at a measured level through his knowledge of Druid magecraft. Becoming fully infected would replace his ghost liner spiritrons with divine spiritrons, which are incompatible with the modern world. Having too many divine spiritrons would massively enhance his strength, but it would also cause him to eventually self destruct as the world erases his anachronistic being. The extent of the power up he receives without full activation are massively enhanced capabilities in Druidic magecraft, a full rank up to all stats, divinity at A rank, and resistance to curses and sicknesses. However, all of these benefits only activate during the night.

By piercing another being with this spear, Olyndicus can transfer this divine disease. Beings with divinity have a built up resistance to this disease, and will be completely immune to it even with a divinity of E rank. If the infected being is not divine, then the disease slowly converts their spiritual particles into divine positrons, enhancing their general abilities day by day. However, divine spiritrons are incompatible with the modern world, meaning that eventually those infected will be purged by the world's system itself.

Through the similar likiness of her Master and Rider herself, the likiness of summoning Medusa as a servant was a high probability... However, through a weak catalyst should increase the odds of her being summon despite having no real artifact dedicated to her.

Weapon(s):
Rider mainly uses her unique but nameless weapon that looks more akin to a nail than a blade which is attached to a long chain. It can be used to restrain and immobilize targets that she pierces but lacks in proficiency in close combat. The weapon itself seems to be best used as a weapon to be thrown from at a distance rather than a sword.

Wish:
Rider herself has no wish upon being summoned into the Grail War, perhaps she will gain a wish of her own or maybe she will never gain one for herself. However, the true question is if the Grails grants a single wish or two?

• Cybele, Mystic Eyes of Petrification (A+) - Rider possesses a potent pair of Mystic Eyes that are classified as 'Jewel' under the Noble Colors system. Their nature is strong enough of a mystery that people may even mistake its identity as one of Rider's Noble Phantasm with the eyes themselves. These Mystic Eyes affects all targets within the owner’s field of vision, regardless of whether these targets are looking at the Eyes physically, or if they have their eyes closed but continue to view her with their mind's eye, as it is a curse to look upon her in any way.
  
  It affects its target who she looks upon as: Those who possess Rank C or lower in Mana will be immediately petrified, while those with Rank B may or may not be affected depending on the conditions. Those with Rank A or higher won’t be petrified but will sustain "pressure" from the Eyes and receive a one rank-down to all parameters. The entire body of the target will be affected, including clothing and weaponry, "killing them while alive" as they are turned to stone. The ability is viable in petrifying a group of enemies, but it would not be useful against an infinite number.
  
  Having knowledge of the eyes render further attacks from them less potent, but it is not enough to allow Rider to go without sealing them in their presence. Repeating the initial surprise effect would be impossible, making it possible to act without going completely numb and causing the effect of the petrification to go at a slower rate. The effect would then be magnified again should the person's guard be let down and act as normal.

• Monstrous Reversion(B) - Rider is the legendary Gorgon of Legend, however, upon summoning her for the Grail War takes on the appearance of a humanoid with purple hair. She can use this ability to increase her strength and agility in exchange of turning closer into the actual legend of the Gorgon depending on the duration she is influenced by this skill. Treat this skill as Monstrous Strength but for Medusa specifically.

• Summoning of the Pegasus (N/A) - A skill that Rider has unlisted but for the purposes of this will be to explain that she does have this personal skill. It can only be brought forth by slashing her neck with her dagger and to allow her the blood to spray out and form a magic circle. The circle then swells with a large amount of magical energy that makes up the Pegasus, far surpassing Blood Fort Andromeda which makes it a curious ability.

Class Abilities:

• Riding (A+) - Rider herself can ride creatures on the level of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts. However, that does not apply to members of the Dragon Kind unfortunately.

• Magic Resistance (B) - Rider's Magic Resistance allows her to cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

• Indepent Action (C) - Rider's ability of Independent Action allows her to stay in the world for one day without a Master and essentially function on less mana from them. It also proves to Rider being able to provide a portion of the cost of her own abilities rather than drawing it all from her master's finite resources.

• Divinity (E-) - Rider's rank in Divinity was reduced when she was turned into a Phantasmal Beast .Should she progress in reversing her nature back into to the legendary Gorgon as of the stories, it is indeed possible to disable and lock this skill permanently as she becomes more Monster than Divine Spirit or even Heroic Spirit.

Bellerophon takes the appearance of a golden bridle and whip that are paired together which allows to fully control beasts even up to those Divine in nature. The power of this Noble Phantasm is great as it provides offensive and defensive enchancments of the highest level to whoever it is mounted on. The creature who it is fastened on have all of their abilities and defensive powers increased multifold if they are not at a rank of Divine Beast. Most often, it is used on her steed Pegasus which is a quite powerful beast already that is enhanced by this Noble Phantasm and allows it to display hostility beyond it normallly hostile nature. The Pegasus' power is empowered by one rank while its defensive abilities are is improved several times due to the protection provided by its massive amount of magical energy and divine protection.

Once fastened, it allows for the mounted beast to use its most powerful charge to physically destroy the target and is only feastible to a truly powerful mount such as Medusa's Pegasus. Other creatures of lesser caliber may use this ability but treat this either as a temporary boost in speed or a weakened version of its true power when used by her Pegasus.

Description:
Blood Fort Andromeda was the home of Medusa and her sisters which turned into a palace of darkness, dyed crimson from blood. Rider is able to make a perfect replica of her home as a bounded field that she uses in order to collect magical energy by converting live humans into resources for her to use. Using her blood as a material component, she sets up a number of sources around an area to slowly build up energy without leaving a single trace of her existence. The Noble Phantasm can be activated at any time once the foundations are complete, however, it heavily damages the leylines of the area once it is completely set up and so it cannot be reactivated on the same land continuously.

Once activated, it forms an advanced bounded field almost on the level of sorcery. It creates a crimson dome-shaped barricade resembling a gigantic red eye around the area of operation, and tints the area in a crimson red. The barrier acts like a separate plane that completely cuts the affected area from the rest of the world, which makes it impossible to see the barrier from the outside, cuts off all escape routes for fleeing enemies. Those who are victim within the barrier are dissolved as if they were inside a stomach, and their magical energy is given to either Rider or her master. Those with a proper amount of magical energy are able to resist the bounded field, such as a Servant or proper magus, but those without any are instantly drained. If the bounded field is activated without the proper energy, it can take up to a number of minutes to completely dissolve the victims. The Noble Phantasm is completely controlled by Rider, and it will continue to stay active even after she dies. It will only be deactivated through her own will or once her body dissipates.

Jonathan is a man of 5'11 stature with a lithe body that can be noticed from its muscular tone that indicates some sort of extensive athleticism. With a tan on his skin that has tinited his previously pale skin that would indicate some time bathing under the rays of the sun. He possesses black hair that has some kind of gel applied in his hair to make it stand while having relatively dark brown eyes on his angular face. His symbol as a master can easily be noticed on his back should he be unclothed but remains relatively hidden under his clothing. Wearing most of the time casual clothes on himself for the occasion which are easy to replace incase anything happen to them. A particular habit of his is the range of jackets he possesses which he could wear one for each day of the week.

Personality:
Jonathan's most prominent trait is him as an extrovert with an obvious outgoing personality that anyone can see just by looking at him. With the look on his face, knowing he is confident about himself and what he is wearing which conveys much without being said. Having this air of self-confidence about himself that seems unwavering, it also shows when he talks with that cool headed and calm demeanor that wouldn't be embarrassed to ask or reveal anything. As a person with his confidence, he wouldn't be afraid to stand as a rebel against the norm or at the same time take the position as a leader for something that he believes in.

He is a person who would be considered being fun to be around, as he is always looking for something to do whether it be with a group or by himself. Seemingly having an appetite for conversation, he is clearly a people's person who loves to talk to people and get to know them. Combined with the fact that he is a flirtatious person, he can make a person chuckle at how smooth he can pull something off without a second thought. It makes his personality great for taking along to go to any kind of party as he's a polite guest who isn't afraid to join in the fun once it starts rolling. He while may not take anything serious at first, finds competition to be a good motivator for him to get him worked up for it.

Biography:
Born in a small family of mages, they were nobody special but they were able to live off their magical talents quite well than a normal job. His parents gave birth to three children and he was the youngest of them all by two years, Adam and Michelle were his older siblings who he would be raised with. The three of them would be trained in the way of a magus as they all possessed the ability to do so, with sufficient magic circuits to do it. Their close nature together as family turned into a competition to see who could better the other, with his older siblings having a few years ahead of him, Jonathan mostly lost when he was younger. His brother specialized in fire element spells while his sister specialized in creating familiars that would perform a variety of tasks for her. Jonathan himself was interested in his own form of magecraft in the interest of the underused Runes. His parents were initially hesitant on letting him pursue a dying form of magecraft but coped with it when they saw his innate talent for it.

Using their combined knowledge, they taught what they knew about runes and the stories that were passed down to them. It would sustain Jonathan's knowledge for a few years before they had to hire a professional to tutor him in the more advanced areas. Eventually, his tutor would take him as an apprentice for more 'hands on experience' when his skill with that area of magecraft was suitable for being his assistance. George Beckham, was his teacher and would be so for several years as Jonathan learn under him. Traveling all over the world, wherever his teacher's assistance was called for and Jonathon too would tag along. It would be a long six years of traveling the world, as the two expierenced many things on their journey, and Jonathan grew into a full-fledged rune magus. He grew to be even more talented than anyone would have thought, gather more experience and knowledge during his six-year apprenticeship than anyone expected. Even his teacher was amazed yet wary of how fast his student was learning as the two rivaled each other in terms of knowledge and power.

There Jonathan would strike out on his own to learn more on his own, pursuing what interested him and caught his attention. Following this path, it would lead Jonathan to eventually forging his way to what will be his appearance in the Holy Grail Wars.

School of Magecraft:
Rune-based Magecraft
The form of Magecraft that Jonathan uses are known as 'Runes" which originates from the Age of the Gods and are symbols that, once inscribed, automatically realize mysteries accordingly with the meaning that they represent. Composed of only straight lines and possessing mechanics similar to the Magic Crests, they are limited by the amount of runes being combined which consumes more energy for each one being utilized. These spells can usually be negated when cast from afar due to the innate magic resistance of a trained magus and must be applied either directly on them or in their direct vicinity. These runes can be categorized into three kinds: the Primeval Runes created by Odin himself, the Old Runes, and finally Modern Runes. Jonathan has knowledge only Modern Runes from what he has gathered from his journies

Skills/Spells List:
The limitation of Rune-based magecraft is innumerable as it is like building a sentence out of words, with so many phrases to choose from that allows the possibilities to be endless. Its only limitation is the amount of time needed to perform truly large scale magecraft is time and the energy to undertake such a task. While its possible to simply use direct confrontation scenarios, it is a form more panned out to be planned beforehand to set up the battlefield. Jonathan has the ability to use the entire Runic Alphabet but is limited to only using 16 runes per day which will be distributed into the spells he uses them in.

• Ehwaz - Rune of Strength: A common rune capable of being placing onto an object to increase its strength and durability akin to metal if its an inferior material. If placed on a metal, its durability is increased at a reduced amount but still functions as normal. However, if cast on his body (his arms generally), it temporarily gives him strength to do a variety of things and no doubt allow him to easily harm the average human. It adds a good 50 lbs of weight on him when he's benching if that counts for anything. (This spell would consume 1 Rune)

• Kenaz - Rune of Sight: A more uncommon rune which can be applied to ocular devices and used for a variety of purposes. Amplification or extension of sight is simple, while piercing magical abilities may take some time to adjust the magic to see through them. When placed on himself, he can see twice as far in the light and dark than a normal person. (This spell would consume 1 Rune)

• Laguz + Sowilo + Mannaz - Runes of Healing: A common spell among rune casters which escribed on their bodies can heal scrapes and bruises easily. Intended for more serious injuries, it can handle gashes and wounds up to moderate severity before actually requiring real medical attention. In cases of severe or fatal damage, it can stabilize the person in a single burst of energy and slowly continue to knit the body together but they will still be in a terrible condition if not taken to a doctor. • Algiz + Isa - Rune of Shielding: A rune of protection which is used in more magical battles, capable of defending the common spell thrown by a magus. Sufficient for most curses that are cast from afar as well which will be negated by this spell. Using it during battle is usually difficult or impossible but when placed on a object, it will indeed ward away spells and block them when hit. On apparrel, it protects against the magic of negative intent which is useful when placed on them. (This spell would consume 2 Runes)

• Hagalaz + Laguz + Isa + Nauthiz - Protective Runes of Endurance and Retaliation: Another sentence of runes which no true practioneer of runic magic shouldn't know. It protects against both physical and mystical attacks, using their energy to reinforce and fuel the spell itself. Any magic left from the runes after each attack will be transfer into a single point where once passed will unleashed the stored energy as a powerful counterattack. (This spell would consume 4 Runes)

• Sowilo + Thurisaz + Hagalaz - Runes of Fire Cage: The first defensive spell on the list, it is a combination of runes which when cast will cause a powerful cage of fire to trap the victim in. Its naturally weak to elements that would destroy fire but resistant to those that it naturally is. (This spell would consume 3 Runes)

• Sowilo + Thurisaz + Hagalaz + Fehu - Runes of Consuming Fire: The first offensive spell which when cast will create a fireball which have a soft homing effect, angling itself slightly to try and best capture its victim. It will not do instanteous 90 degree turns, but it can curve itself to chase its target if it has the space to do so or be extinguished. At its quick speed, it rarely has the chance to redirect itself but when it hits its target, the flames will rarely extinguish themselves naturally. Similar to a curse which will chase its target if it ever falls away, it can only be smothered naturally or by another spell and if runs out of energy to sustain itself. (This spell would consume 4 Runes)

• Isa + Thurisaz + Hagalaz - Runes of Ice Spears:
  Another simple spell which is like a toothpick going through a piece of fruit by this combination of runes which forms the spell. Its sharp enough to pierce through the human body and pieces of metals but is fragile compared to sturdier materials. Strengthened by the Isa rune that turns the projectile sharp enough to make a cut through a mature tree. (This spell would consume 3 Runes)

  While this is a skill indicative of Roland’s status as the Christendom’s greatest paladin, the aspect of Roland summoned under the Berserker class is not the embodiment of a flawless crusader paragon, or even the errant knight walking the lands of fey and heathen. Instead, she is the Roland chasing the princess of Cathay, and the Roland persisting against an army several magnitudes greater than her own.

• Hamartia: B
  Denotes a flaw of character that drives an individual towards their own self-destruction. A double-edged sword of a skill similar to “Innocent Monster” that distorts the owner’s personality. In this case, the flaw is vainglory, the excessive belief in one’s own abilities or appearance. This skill is sealed if “Gabriel Eclipsant: A Shadow Cast by Moonlight” is permanently lost.
  
  Upon summoning, this ability has no effect. However, upon being denied an opportunity to seek glory, a Luck check opposing the rank of this skill occurs. If the Luck check is failed, the effects of “Migraine” are obtained at E Rank and susceptibility to mental interference that targets desires increases. However, the effects of “Battle Continuation” at E Rank are also obtained, along with an increased resistance to mental interference based on a command or other types of coercion. As Berserker fails to have her appetites satisfied, successive Luck checks occur to prevent the effects of the aforementioned skills from ranking up.
  
  By indulging her vainglory, it is possible to reduce these effects by a single rank per indulgence, but should she be allowed to overindulge, the skills granted by Hamartia immediately return to their highest previous rank and a Luck check must be passed to prevent a rank-up.
  
  The word “Hamartia” is a term in Greek tragedy meaning “to err”, as well as a term used in Christian theology to denote mankind’s inclination to sin. While not true Aristotelian tragedies by any means, Orlando furioso and La Chanson de Roland both detail events in which an individual of great standing falls into misfortune due to an ill-advised choice.
  
  Like in legend, Roland is most effective when her foolhardy pride is tempered by caution, but is most powerful when allowed to indulge her appetite. To properly use Berserker, the Master must maintain an uneasy balance lest the catastrophe that results consume both of them.

  Signifies a blessing from a higher existence. Grants the owner plus modification to all defensive values and good luck in dangerous situations.
  
  In Orlando furioso, attention is drawn to the fact that a mysterious power ensures the maddened Roland’s safety from peril as she wanders the world. At the same time however, it ensured that Roland survived to see the brutal aftermath of her actions. While not strictly due to divine intervention, in La Chanson de Roland, the sole survivor of the Battle of Roncevaux is Roland, the same individual who led twenty-thousand Frankish warriors to their deaths in pursuit of glory.
  
  In that respect, this should not be considered a divine protection, but a divine punishment.

The holy sword representative of the greatest Frankish hero.

The story goes that the sword of Trojan Hector, claimed after the Trojan War by the heavens and augmented by several holy relics, was given Charlemagne with the order to award it to the greatest of his knights. It is a splendidly forged symbol of power that was once denoted the greatest defender of Troy, and now signifies the greatest defender of Christendom.

The sword is unbreakable and unstoppable. Regardless of the owner’s magical energy, the sword does not lose its sharpness, and regardless of physical defense, the sword is capable of piercing it as long as it is not a Noble Phantasm.

Because of the Christian relics contained within its golden hilt, Durendal possesses three miracles related to the works of the saints that consecrate it. When its name is invoked, one of these miracles activates. These miracles are preselected with a prayer to the appropriate saint, but because the prayers require concentration, it cannot be performed in the midst of battle. Likewise, the effects of “Migraine” may prevent switching miracles even outside of battle. This effect can only be activated once per day.

The three miracles and the relic they are tied to are as follows:

• Blood of St. Basil of Caesarea: A miracle from the patron of exorcism known for fighting against heresies in life that allows for the smiting of evil. Berserker designates a target and if that target is of evil alignment, possesses undead/demonic/monstrous attributes or is connected to a non-Abrahamic divinity, damage equal to this Noble Phantasm’s rank is appended to all attacks as bonus damage. Otherwise it does nothing. This miracle persists until the battle ends. In legend, it is this ability that allowed Roland to fell a divine sea monster off the coast of Ebuda with a single blow, disrupting the ending the ritualistic human sacrifice that occurred to satisfy it. Of course, this act had its own consequences shortly afterward...
  
  Because of St. Basil’s role as the father of monastic community and a staunch proponent for communal service, this is extended to allies who are within range and not valid targets for this miracle.
• Hair of St. Denis: As the patron of France, St. Denis shares an important relationship with the France’s military. It is his name that the French armies invoke during battle, and his tomb by which the oriflamme, France’s battle standard, was consecrated. As a result, this miracle channels this aspect of the saint, in tandem with his associations with cephalophores and mental afflictions, to provide large-scale mental defense and the effects of Battle Continuation to those within Berserker’s presence regarded as allies.
• Tooth of St. Peter: In scripture, St. Peter was granted the Keys of Heaven and told that “whatever he bound(forbidden) on earth would be bound(forbidden) in heaven and whatever he loosed(permitted) on earth would be loosed in heaven(permitted)”. This miracle grants a lesser version of this effect. By thrusting the blade into the ground, a Bounded Field with the concept of is centered around the buried blade. Any attempt at hostile action taken within its range is challenged by a Luck check. Success means the action is allowed, but all parameters and skills of the offender suffer a rank down during the next battle with the target of their action. Failure prevents the action from occurring. That said, there is a glaring flaw in this protection…
  
  It is through this effect that the ensures the temporary truce with the invulnerable Saracen giant Ferragut is maintained during their multiple-day duel for the city of Najera. But while this is a barrier of absolute neutrality, it is unfit for use in the midst of battle due to the side-effect of healing those under its aegis, which stems from a certain incident involving St. Peter, a sword, and a servant’s ear.

Due to the restrictions of the Berserker class, the anti-fortress Noble Phantasm “Durendal: Ultimate Unbroken Hallow” has not been granted, and petitioning the Virgin Mary has no effect.

The manifestation of id and anecdote of the shadow a knight left as a warning about the dangers of wanton desire.

Before Noble Phantasm begins its automatic activation, two conditions must be fulfilled: the moon must be in the sky, and Berserker must fail a Luck check opposed by the effective rank of “Migraine”. Consequently, this Noble Phantasm is automatically deactivated shortly after the moon disappears from the sky. This is because in Orlando furioso, it is the moon where Astolfo locates Roland’s lost sanity, and so it is the moon where her sanity must vanish.

This Noble Phantasm can be permanently sealed through the use of a Command Spell or a sanity-inducing potion brewed by a Servant with ties to the moon.

Upon activation, Berserker’s form is wreathed in an inky shadow, the skill “Shadow Lantern” is obtained at B Rank, and Mad Enhancement is activated. In addition, “Durendal: The Peerless Sword” is sealed, the defensive values provided by armor are nullified, and the ability to wield arms is lost, regardless of the effects of “Eternal Arms Mastery”. These changes last for the duration of this Noble Phantasm.

Berserker’s silhouette also changes. It becomes more monstrous in appearance, assuming wicked claws and a bestial maw. It is capable of manifesting its features physically, which serves as Berserker’s primary means of offense without the ability to use weapons. Though this shadow appears to be sentient, it is an extension of herself controlled below the threshold of her awareness and guided by her id. As a result, it is also anchored to Berserker. However, it can travel and manifest through any shadows Berserker is in contact with, including the ones cloaking her, and its size grows with the size of the shadow. That said, while the shadow can interfere with the physical world, the damage it inflicts is purely mental in nature; although capable of destroying the mind, skills and abilities that provide resistance against mental interference are capable of defending against it.

Similarly, Berserker’s presence fills the minds of observers with inexplicable grief, unwanted reminders of desires that were left unsatisfied, and the horrors of desires that were. Berserker’s bestial roars are the sounds one always wished to hear but never did, and the tragic discordance that one has forgotten to remember to forget. Rather than an inky blackness, the shadows of Berserker seem to reflect painful images, often from the unique past of the observer. This also qualifies as mental interference, but for heroes whose legends involve ill-fated love, the difficulty to resist it doubles.

An interesting thing to note is the source of the name: Roland’s connection to St. Gabriel the Archangel. Firstly, the archangel Gabriel represents the moon in various occult systems, and the messenger of God’s divine wisdom. It is also Gabriel who bestows Durendal upon Charlemagne, and Gabriel who carries the dying Roland to Heaven after the Battle of Roncevaux in La Chanson de Roland. In other words, the three key aspects of Roland’s legend - her glory, her doom, and her madness - are intrinsically linked to Gabriel.

Personality: A mysterious and elegant gentleman who, upon meeting him and conversing for more than a few minutes, becomes far more mysterious and far less elegant. As a middle-aged man - though young for a magus with life-extending spellcraft - with plenty of regret over being unable to understand his estranged daughter, he tries hard to get in touch with people - and since he’s surrounded by high school to university-aged individuals, this has quite… jarring results for someone who seems so old to be acting so young. Still, he is a man with years of political maneuvering and teaching under his belt, so he is quite good at compartmentalizing his personality. This can also be quite jarring to those who have only seen the “dopey dad” side of him and not the “scion of an ancient magus lineage” side. This experience has also resulted in a personality that, while capable of extreme restraint, can only sigh and watch shenanigans unfold with the expression of someone who had recently dropped their favorite donut and spilled their morning coffee. Likewise, as someone immersed in magus culture, Sosthenes maintains a few rather old-fashioned magus values in spite of his attempts at seeming younger than he is. Namely, he has a disdain for the eastern schools of magecraft and low-blooded magi without any exceptional capability. Notably, he does not seem to hold himself in high esteem, and recent generations of Clock Tower students have ensured that Sosthenes does not live a technophobic lifestyle incapable of operating, say, a Blu-Ray Disc player.

Biography: A magus hailing from the Antaeoi family of Greece, an old but fairly unnotable family in Clock Tower’s political game up until Sosthenes’ generation. They have a reputation for their talent with leylines. Currently, he is a professor in Clock Tower’s Archaeology department, also known as “Astaire” or “Rocks Road”, and bears the rank of Pride within the Mage’s Association hierarchy. Rumor has it, however, that he has the potential to, or perhaps already managed to, achieve the esteemed rank of Brand. And of course, there is other gossip about him, but that’s not important - especially in Rocks Road, a faculty far away from all that magus power mongering. Despite conflicting claims, the truth is as follows:

Many years ago, a prodigious youth who, like any self-respecting magi, sought out great power started undertaking classes in the Clock Tower. After graduating, he pursued the rough. In his younger years he pursued the rough and tumble life of an Enforcer, seeking to prove himself the most powerful and thus accrue esteem among his fellow magi by hunting down Sealing Designates. That is, until he realized that the people who really matter in the magus world don’t typically care for the grunts who hunt down the rogues in any significant capacity. Understanding this fact, he shifted gears to the lifestyle of an academic in London, in the center of the political network of the culture. What follows is a fairly par for course attempt at amassing political power among the Clock Tower elite. He became a professor in the Mineralogy department, and was even married off at one point, and though the marriage was loveless and his wife ended up being met with a fatal accident, he cared greatly for his heir. Unfortunately, the life of a magi demands sacrifice, so this love did not obviously color his actions, causing many issues down the road.

The realization of his folly came when he learned that his daughter, in her pursuit to gain her father’s affection through skill at magecraft, stumbled upon a revelation that got her summarily Sealing Designated. After this, he demanded to be transferred from his post to Archaeology, a place where he could clear his head and distance himself from Clock Tower politics. It is in his time there that he mellowed out, and even took on an apprentice from the orient: Ren Mizushima. They went on many adventures and taught each other many lessons. Watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom for a rough equivalent. Anyway, he sent his apprentice ahead of him to prepare for the ritual while he himself secured a catalyst for a powerful hero. He, a Greek geomancer, is mildly rustled about the fact his apprentice got his hands on a Greek Earth goddess.

School of Magecraft: Leyline Interference, Element and Attribute-based Magecraft (Wind, Assimilation)
Spells List

• Antaeus (3/day) - Signature spell of the Antaeoi, and the source of their name. Uses the family attribute of subsumption to establish a pass to a leyline. Grants jurisdiction over the line, and dramatically enhances physical parameters ala Prana Burst. Also increases duration or size of spells due to extra prana. The cost to maintain it increases exponentially with distance from natural terrain and can only be cast when standing on it.
• Aeolus (5/day) - Creates a wind that uses the attribute of subsumption to take in magecraft without physical substance and strengthen itself
• Zephyr (10/day) - Manipulates the direction of air
• Boreas (10/day) - Manipulates the pressure of air
• Notos (10/day) - Manipulates the speed of air
• Leyline Scrying (5/day) - Analyzes a leyline and determines the types of Bounded Fields and other magecraft linked to or otherwise involving it. Not an almighty scanning that reveals all, but rather something akin to structural analysis: distance and direction from the user, general effect and activity, size and strength, completeness and freshness, and if it is drawing from the leyline or interfering with it.
• Leyline Detonation (1/day) - Long distance siege cannon. Channels the power of a leyline for a single, explosively powerful attack. Requires a long ritual and a magic circle as well, and comes with a targeting array.
• Bounded Field Interference (1/day) - Seizes control of or destroys Bounded Fields. A lengthy process either way, it should be noted the latter is faster than the former.
• Leyline Hacking (5/day) - Allows the user to tamper with non-Bounded Fields linked to the leyline. Cannot be done without scrying the leyline or being connected to it himself.

• Tornado Umbrella - Sosthenes' signature Mystic Code. It looks like a fairly normal umbrella, but its design incorporates a fully-functional magic circle. Running prana through the umbrella and twirling it activates the ritual, creating a powerful sphere of wind that rotates in the direction of the twirl. Also allows the user to fly with an incantation. It is only active when open.
• Jewel Brooches - A set of brooches incorporating jewels containing great amounts of raw prana, which can be released in an instant. After use, they are useless. Only used in close-quarters emergencies. Sosthenes brought 9 to the war.
• Sosthenes' Enforcer Outfit - An old set of clothes that haven't been worn in a while. Has a series of defensive enchantments on it similar to an Executor's frock.

Personality:
On the surface Taka appears to be a light-hearted and all around cheery girl, who never seems to let the world get her down, someone whom appears to never be tainted by the troubles of life. That is only the surface of her personality, a facade she puts up to protect herself and ease the worries of the people around her because in actuality she is very much worried about the things around her. This may be due to her status as the second daughter to the Frederick family and thus the only whom would never be destined for grandeur, never receive those private fighting lessons or be taught the advanced level of the family's technique of mana burn, or even inherit the family crest.

Of course, she could do little to change that. She lives her life with a simple wish, to be remembered for grandeur. The wish takes a core part of her personality, she does not care if she is remembered as a saint or a sinner, only that the world never forgets her name. It is that selfishness which drives her to do stuff according to her own internal moral compass. Thus she can be seen as a bit of an attention seeker, wanting praise for her actions and what she does. Wanting something to give her that attention.

She views other Magus as overreliant on their grandiose magic, most would struggle to survive without their god given right to cast spells. Thus it makes her happy when she finds the odd one that can survive without magic. It is a thing that she can respect easily.

She views the Servants of the grail war as the thing she wished she could become, The stuff of Legends. Therefore she wholeheartedly respects any servant she has the pleasure of speaking to, be it ally or enemy regardless of the history of the person. They deserve the respect as they have entered the throne of heroes and become someone whom can be called upon at any time to fight. Takas personal relationship with Jack the Ripper takes much the same way. While Jack is first and foremost a serial killer, Taka still treats them as if they was her own daughter, perhaps as an act of defiance against her parents whom were so bad with their parenting.

She is not afraid to let Jack kill those who deserve it, nor does Jack's obsession with her as her 'mother' bother her, in fact she deep down sort of likes it. She will however make use of command spells if the Ripper starts to go out of hand. Of course in order to maintain a good relationship with Jack she can't just force them to stop committing murder all together but she can direct even partially what jack kills. She is in it to win it and with a Servant as potent as the legendary serial killer. She is more than likely to give her enemies one hell of a time.

Biography:
Frederick is an old fashioned family of magus specialising in curse magic. The family is of asian-english descent and takes its roots in the capital city of London. While the family believes in upholding a the secrets of mages at all costs, they do not believe in complete societal withdrawal, and thus the family lives a parallel life with the modern developing world. One is how the world sees them, a family whose head is the owner of a successful business. With a beautiful heiress to the name and another daughter that nobody cares to mention as that daughter is not set to receive anything of note. That last detail is the same for the magus side of the family. Taka was never set to inherit anything of note, besides the knowledge of how to use the familys curse which everyone within the family knows how to do. In short Takas life since birth was set to be unfulfilling.

She would never stand for that. She tried to do what any child when ignored does. Give hell to the parents in a bit of attention seeking. In short, she set the kitchen on fire. Her parents ignored her and didn't even tell her off directly, that honor was given to the head manservant who slapped her across the face. That was a defining moment of her childhood, when she realised her parents didn't care for her upbringing. She was as much use to them as a excess part when the machine was fully functional. So in her childhood she resorted to escapism. Reading the legends of the past, of heros and in some cases villains whoms deeds were never ignored whos deeds was past down throughout history.

It was safe to say she wanted to become just like that. A remembered figure of her time immortalised history, never forgotten in the pages of time. So the young girl found a reason to fight the normality of her familys ways. She poured over the libary, retreating from her displays to the modern world for months at a time. In an effort to find the answers of what she was looking for. She never did find it.

At the age of 15 she began taking lessons in the art of physical combat and the usage of guns, she wanted to be able to take on opponents larger then herself like the heros of legends and come out victorous without having to resort to the crutch that was magic. At this age she had come to accepted her nature within the family, but never within the wider world.

19 years of age. She was still the black sheep, the daughter of the Fredericks who was set to receive nothing, she had started to mature into a fine right-minded girl even if her looks was average at best. She still had her deep underlying issue in her persona that would require the much-needed nurture from a family that for all intensive purposes didn't want her. She still kept going, striving for her own personal goal, free of others influence.

22 years of age. She hears about the upcoming grail war about to take fold. At this point her ties to her family were minimal at best. She still lived in the same household supported by their income but the progress of her sister made her existance even less notable. For everything that she could do, her sister could do better but... Could her sister participate in a grail war? Her parents appeared to think so. Hell they even prepared her with the artifact necessary for the servant they was coming to summon. All Taka could do was watch her sister surpass her in everyway. Even with all her hard work and dedication to be somebody, It created a deep set of jealousy towards her sister.

23 years of age:
The Night before the intended summoning of jack the Ripper in the Frederick household: two weeks prior to the start of the holy grail war. She was there, the only person awake in this room at the dead of midnight. The mist outside on the london streets. The six blades of the one referred to as Jack was before her. She had one act of defiance in her. She was going to spit in the face of her parents for ignoring her. She knew full well what she was going to be summoning but at this point she was desperate to surpass her sister.

She set up the ritual for summoning Jack. The knives lay played in an ordered array. She poured her magic into the catalyst as a plea to the spirit to respond. Nothing happened. Still the mist continued to swirl outside on the london streets. She had an apathany at that point, opening a window to let the mist gently seep into the room, ruining the furniture that was in it with the moisture. She didn't care.

She tried again. There was a great thickening of the fog in the room. A paid manservant rushed in to check was the commotion was. He opened his mouth to shout for help. Getting so far as the "J-" before his throat was cut by a familiar butcher knife splattering the walls with a unmistakable shade. Taka was in fear of what she summoned. She stared at the petite girl before her. That couldn't be it? that couldn't be Jack the Ripper. Her mind almost wondered to the point of the fact that the legendary serial killer looked better then she did but fear kept her mind focused. The Assassin took a step forward. She crawled back as if to maintain distance. The entity called Jack cocked its head to the side. "Are you our mother?" It asked, its voice sounding childlike in tone. "Why yes! yes I am." Taka hastily replied not knowing what to say. "I would like to form a contract with you." She said continuing as she held out a hand. Leading to Jack to contemplate why the woman had outstretched a limb. Was Jack supposed to cut it? "I will form a contract with my mother." Jack said almost like a happy child was reuniting with her lost parent. Taka was thinking that maybe the legend about Jack wasn't so bad until more manservants came in and met a swift death.

Her face soaked with blood Taka headed out with her servant onto the london streets. She now had the means to become what she dreamed of, A legend. Certainly her family is going to be pissed but what did she care. This helped fulfil her dream.

1 Week before the grail war: She had arrived in Japan having brought a boat ticket before her parents froze all of her assets. Now she was essentially a penniless magus on the streets of Japan armed with a serial killer and a hand gun. She had resorted to theft to feed herself, even sharing unnecessarily with Jack whom had of course preformed the odd murder every now and then. But Taka had made sure that Jack was reminded to make each one different and not default to making patterns. Her parents would find out exactly where she was if Jack started leaving too many breadcrumbs. She grew to trust the Serial Killer named Jack and Jack perhaps found it somewhere within it to trust their master in turn because when they set their minds togather, there was nothing they couldn't kill...

School of Magecraft: Wind element magic & Curses

Spells List:

Wind Magic: Silence (Can be used twice a day.)

Silence is a Wind Magic technique that involves the user having vision of the intended target of the technique. The technique works by creating an invisible field around the targets head, this field serves to prevent all sound waves going through it effectively rendering the target deafened and unable to speak. The spell after its application can be maintained for only a few seconds without the need to view the person. This spell is useful in a tactical situation as it can interrupt the chain of command.

Air barrier (can be used only once on a biweekly basis)

An invisible solid air barrier is produced, its size affects its strength, an extremely localized barrier, say one that just protects the user, may be capable of defending against a servants attacks. Though it would be of no help against a direct attack from a noble phantasm. The more the barrier is spread out the weaker it becomes and the more brittle it becomes, The maximum size is 30 meters horizontally and 10 meters vertically, at that point it can only prevent a singular blow. At its most common size of 2 by 2 meters, it is capable of surviving machine gun fire with little loss of durablity.

It works by applying an equal force to what hits it, effectively negating the impact.

Wind Magic: Air slicer (usable up to 4 times a day)

Bending the current of air into a curved shape that is moved at rapid speed down onto the target. It functions like the equivalence of a sword slash. The Air can only barely be seen moving, however, it can still be seen.
This skill has a maximum range of 15 meters. The size of the slash is limited to one meter.

Curse Magic: Mana Leak (Can be used up to twice per day.)

In order to apply this curse, the user must have direct site of the intended target. The user after choosing the target clenches their hand while keeping view. The effect on the victim is at first unnoticeable but will become so over the course of the fight. The curse leaves no physical injury and does not even affect non-magus.

The Curse creates a theoretical hole in the intended victim's mana supply. Against users with little mana this is a big impact, and thus users with E-D rank in mana suffer with their supply having a rather rapid drainage. (further aggravated if they make usage of Magecraft.) Those who are C rank or above, however, will suffer less from the immediate impacts of the mana leak and can like those of the lower ranks dispel its effects through anti-curse methods, however, usage of mage craft will still cause the leak to worsen and thus decreasing the length the magus would be able to stay in battle. Against Caster type Heroic Spirits this curse has little if any effect due to the biological difference between a Human and a Heroic Spirit.

Curse Magic: Curse Removal (Usable up to three times a day depending on the curse removed.)

Does as the name states, removes a curse or curses from an affected individual, depending on the severity it may be only one curse she can remove for the day. In a some cases the magic of the curse may be beyond her abilty to remove it.

Curse of the Glass body, Usable Once per every three days:

This is her most potent curse and she dislikes have to resort to it. It is applied through direct contact wit h the intended victim. The curse affects the victims bone structure making their bones brittle to the point where a weak but direct impact to anywhere would cause breakage. It effectively renders the target unable to resort to physical combat, very useful against certain opponents.

Against Servants the effect of the curse is greatly reduced and at most it causes a slight decrease in strength though that is very unlikely given a servant's magical Resistance.

Sidearm Marksmanship
She is very well equipped in the handling of sidearms, while she may not be able to handle heavier weapons as effectively, she can be quite deadly with a pistol against non-magus opponents making well usage of the cover available to her during her confrontation. This is useful to her as most of her magic is useless against non-magic users. She prefers to wound with her gun, but will not be above killing if she believes it is necessary.

Hand to Hand Combat:
While she is not the strongest hand to hand combatant, lacking the brute raw strength in some cases to get the job done. She is capable of incapacitating and even killing someone through the application of attacks to vulnerable areas of the body, her fighting style can be described as a mixture between street fighting and Krav Maga.

Other: She carrys with her, a cellphone for communications and a standard issue Glock 17: A sidearm commonly used by the UK millitary, in the event of a situation where she is unable to use her magic. She will usually carry 4 magazines of ordnance and the bullets are made of purified silver to have a minimal penetrating effect against magical barriers.

Murderer of the Misty Night is a skill associated with the Servant's nature as a serial killer rather than as an Assassin, which permits preemptive strike against all opponents. However, unconditional success of the skill is possible only at night. Requires a successful Luck Check for use during daytime. (From the conditions of their bodies, it is believed that all of the victims of Jack the Ripper were assailed when unguarded).

Mental Pollution: C

Provides a probability that mental interference magecraft will be rendered ineffective. In the condition that the Servant's master is of Evil alignment, and perpetrates acts of cruelty against the Servant, Mental Pollution will increase in rank, further increasing defenses against magecraft. However, as the Servant's psyche is inherently broken, this may result in irreversible deterioration.

Information Erasure: B

Information Erasure (情報抹消, Jōhō Masshō?) is the removal of information regarding the Servant's true name, abilities, and appearance from the records and memories of all witnesses, including the opponent, following the conclusion of an engagement.

B: (Jack The Ripper) This effect is enforced even within digital recordings by a closed-circuit camera in broad daylight. However, evidence of the engagement is not removed from the scene, and by way of logical deduction, the Servant's identity may be revealed.

Surgical repair: E

Surgical Procedure (外科手術, Geka Shujutsu?) is the capability of surgical repair with use of a bloodstained scalpel, applicable to the Servant or her Master.

E: Jack the Ripper (Assassin) Despite the technique being 120 years old, and somewhat unreliable by visual appearance alone, the procedures manage to attain their intended effect, boosted somewhat with application of Magical Energy. (The victims of were found with their organs removed in such a way as to require anatomical knowledge or skill with dissection.)

Complete presence cut off makes detection near impossible. Switching to the preparation of an attack drops the rank of Presence Concealment greatly, this weakness can be compensated by "Murderer of the Misty Night," and a Near perfect surprise attack is possible. The Mist: Darkened Misty Metropolis is a Bounded Field Noble Phantasm generated from an antique lantern that reenacts the phenomenon of the "Mist of Death". Upon opening the shutter and gently touching the candle inside, the lit flame instantly begins to generate smoke-like mist from the bottom of the lantern. The mist, wrought of magical energy, forms a Bounded Field around the area that has a negative effect on all those who enter within the perimeter. Normal humans will quickly faint from pain upon coming in contact with the dense cloud of enveloping smoke, as simply breathing it in burns the throat and direct contact with eyes causes them to fester. They start to suffocate due to being unable to breath, and they cannot see anything as they writhe in pain. She can easily use this time to selectively kill them, or she can simply wait for them to be inflicted with death within a few turns. Magi will not immediately perish, but they will receive continuous damage. Heroic Spirits will not receive damage, but they will have a Rank Down in Agility.

Jack is able to direct The Mist as she wishes in order to select which targets within the Bounded Field are affected, allowing her to leave a blank space around her Master. She is also able to limit it to only a specific area.

It also affects the sense of direction of those within the field perimeter, making them lose their bearing of the area. Even within a familiar enclosed space, the mist deceives all those trying to escape into running around in circles in the same place without realizing it. Normal humans will always die in agony without ever being able to escape. The only means of escape for magi and Servants are the employment of Magecraft or a Rank B or higher in Instinct. The Mist quickly clears upon being deactivated.

Maximum range of the mist is 20 meters, Keeping the mist active will constantly drain the Masters Mana Supply,

Maria The Ripper: Holy Mother of Dismemberment. is a set of four strangely shaped knives. They are normally classified as Rank D Noble Phantasms, but they can be empowered under certain conditions by "the hatred of children who were denied everything, even the chance to sell their own flesh; the children who were abandoned back then by the 80,000 prostitutes in the London ghettos in order to maintain their own livelihood." If activated normally, they can be used to deal physical damage to the target while the conditions are not completely fulfilled. Upon fulfilling them, the damage rendered receives a large boost in Rank and the attack can guarantee instant death. If a) "it is night-time," b) "the target is a female," c) "it is misty," the knives manifest within the target's body, instantly vivisecting their flesh. The attack is communicated as a curse rather than a physical technique executed by utilizing the set of knives, so it may be used at range. Physical defense is impossible, but resistance to curses may permit evasion. The Maximum Range of this Technique is 15 Meters, That is only if all the conditions have been met, Otherwise the attack is a simple Enhanced cutting attack.

Lancer holds a Magic Resistance of Rank C. Aria of two verses and below are cancelled, but beyond that High Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals cannot even be defended against. That said, confronting a Servant of his superior speed (Agility A), finding the opportunity to use large-scale magecraft is next to impossible. Also, considerable skill is required to successfully "hit" him with the invoked magecraft. Judging from these factors, in situations of close combat, Lancer may have a "necessary and sufficient" rank of Magic Resistance.

The ability to withdraw from the battlefield in the midst of combat. Lancer excelled in seeing through battle situations, and had the responsibility to wage war and withdraw repeatedly from all sorts of enemies.

Lacer obtained 18 Runes from his studies with Scáthach (Norse Runes), appropriately using them to respond in different situations. It is said that among these runes, one with the purpose of searching existed.

Protection from Arrows: B
Ability to deal with projectiles. This is a power Lancer was born with. It's said that it's possible for him to avoid any long range attack if he has made visual confirmation of his opponent. He can deal with most projectiles even in conditions where the opponent cannot be visually seen. As long as the attack is a thrown type, he can avoid even Noble Phantasms, but he can't gain the effects of this protection with respect to wide range attack types where the attack range of the weapon explodes on impact, or a direct attack by a weapon that has simply long reach.

The circumstances behind Lancer's great divinity is his father's existence. His father was Lugh, the god who governed over the sun, a member of the Danann divine family in Celtic Mythology. As a demigod whose father was an almighty god who possessed every skill such as knowledge, techniques and magic, and whose mother was Deichtine, younger sister of King Conchobar, he exhibited superior talent from birth. Boasting supernatural ability that separated him from ordinary people from a young age, in his training in the Land of Shadows, he received the original runes and terrible magic spear Gaé Bolg from Scáthach. Truly, he was a man predestined to become a hero. In Ireland, poetry and statues praising Lancer still remain to this day.

While this is a technique employing Gáe Bolg as a melee attack, it is originally a magic spear for throwing. With a technique that reverses the meaning of "cause and effect" in the order of things, the "result" that "opponent has been pierced" is created earlier than the moment it is thrust. Accordingly, the "cause" that "the lance has pierced the opponent" is generated from it later. Without a great deal of luck (like Artoria), it can be said that this is a technique that determines "if it is released, the opponent is struck." Compared to the Spear of Striking Death Flight, both the range of effectiveness and the destructive power are weakened. However, it is worth mentioning that "the magical energy cost is low." For having such a strong effect as "almost certainly will strike the enemy," without the need of a terrible amount of magical power, it becomes an excellent Noble Phantasm of extraordinary usability.

Gae Bolg: Striking Death Flight

The largest and most powerful attack delivered using Gae Bolg. The “attack that unleashes countless darts at the enemy” which legends speak of is Gae Bolg – Striking Death Flight. After accelerating through an approach run, Lancer takes to the skies and activates Striking Death Flight by hurling it towards the ground with all his might. Different from Gae Bolg – Piercing Death Thorn, Striking Death Flight does not carry the property or concept of “always pierces the opponent”, but compared to Piercing Death Thorn, both power and area of effect are increased (intense consumption of Magic Energy). It is a technique that attacks the enemies together with the surrounding area, in a carpet bombing fashion. Even resilient bulwark or agile body are not immune to the power of Striking Death Flight; Gae Bolg will send the enemy horde flying. In legend, the demonic spear is said to split into 30 and pour down over the enemy, but it seems the number has increased after Lancer became a Heroic Spirit.
