The participants were instructioned to met on an island. It was neutral ground. It was hoped by starting here the couples would have a better chance of starting their relationship sttong. They would live on the island for a year in hopes that they would find away to make the arrange marriage work. They would be given access to neutral experts to help increase their odds.

Nadya arrived on the island with but the simplest of duffel bags—for her her belongings, and most importantly her battle suit, proved much too heavy. Thus she made great pains for it to arrive before her. But Nadya wanted to see it, to make sure nary a scratch marred its ivory durasteel frame.

No, she was not procrastinating. She was not allowing doubts to ruminate. She was not getting cold—

Breathe, Nadya. One. Two. Three... she inwardly recited her personal mantra.

Pulling out a map from her black slacks' back pocket, she mulled over the locations on the prison island, but completely doubted she would remember much. She could redraw countless schematics from memory but cartography...

Errant winds tousled her red hair, sending it almost perpetually in her face. She gave up trying brush it back after two failed attempts.

The island appeared rustic, foreign, different—gradual sloping hills and sharp cliffs overhanging shores were some of the scenery she spotted on the way in.

It might not be so bad, Nadya hoped. Shrugging further thoughts aside, she asked one of the nearest staff—was that the correct term?—where she needed to go.

"A church. Of course," she mumbled. She brushed her hair back with her fingers, and once more, the winds thoroughly disheveled her hair. Again. First thing I need to unpack is a hair-tie.

She briskly walked along the semi-uneven and obviously old stonework, as to get the meeting over with quickly, and the fact that she did not roll her ankle due to her heels was quite an accomplishment! Before long, she paused in front of large wooden doors much too ornate.

Butterflies in her stomach, she quelled them with willpower alone. Her face betrayed nothing.

A small woman met her at the door. The woman stood only about 5' tall. She had her long brown hair pulled into a bun. Her dark brown eyes sparked as she smiled up at Nadezhda. "Welcome to the island. My name is Cassey. I am here to help you get ready for the wedding if you need it. Allow me to show me to your dressing room. You have an hour before the ceremony starts. Do you have someone to walk you down the aisle."

@KatherinWinter Leaving Magik's whereabouts vague. At this point she could be dead, rez'd as Darkchylde, or in the past with Doctor Strange.

The arrangement progressed much too fast. She only just got on the island. She still had her hastily packed duffel bag. Nadya only wanted—

Breathe. One. Two. Three.

Nadya nodded her head toward the somewhat shorter Cassey. "...Hello. I'm Nadya." The young woman gripped the strap slung over her shoulder tightly. Cassey likely already knew who she was. Lovely.

"Help would be nice," she continued, quite proud of her level voice, effectively hiding her mounting nerves. "And, no, I don't have anyone to," she only paused a fraction of a heartbeat but paused nonetheless before finishing, "walk me down the aisle."

Nadya couldn't remember the last time she saw her mother.

Yet wasn't it because of her mother she agreed to this in the first place?

Cassey nodded. She wasn't surprised. Alot of the parents had agreed to the arranged marriages. Bur they refused to be at the weddings where they might run into sn enemy. The group wasn't going to marry arch nemesis. But wouldn't mean that the person they choose wouldn't have fought in the past. "Don't worry. You're not alone in that. I promise we will make it as easy and nice as possible. Just tell me what you need and I will do my best to make sure that you have it."

When she opened her mouth, she caught herself before requesting for her battle suit, and instead asked conscientiously, "My dress is already here, correct? I probably need help with the zipper, if you wouldn't mind."

Likely, Nadya could manage on her own—the wedding dress in question, mermaid-style and white satin, was simple yet still possessed due elegance. The woman also picked a delicate, loosely interwoven bun that she could tie up herself. At the time, she wanted to be fully independent, as she had been most of her young life, but now, at the edge of the Rubicon, Nadya wanted companionship, someone, anyone to be with her if only to grant the illusion of staying afloat.

Because, as the back of her mind warned, she was in over her head. Her poker face remained perfect, masking well her anxiety.

"If the ceremony starts in an hour, I suppose we need to get ready, yeah?" She smirked albeit faint and fleetingly like a drop of morning dew on a blade of grass.

Scarlett is sitting on a paddle board controlling it with her mind. She had a argument with her parents about how to arrive to the island. She did not want to take any high tech jet or boat. She did not a grand entrance as her parent's enemies are hers as well. To her it will take more people to make this new treaty to work between heros and enemies. She hears her board is scratching against something and notices she is on the island. She stands up pulling up her hood to hide her hair and face. She hears people's thoughts and walks towards the church as she puts up a mind shield to block out the other people thoughts.

Scarlett glance down at the women name Daisy, "you can help me do my hair She guess she did not have a clue what to do with it, maybe Daisy have a few ideals."I came alone, so I don't have anyone to walk me down the iisle. She softly says as she follows Daisy to the dressing room. She is nervous on who she end up marrying within the hour. She try staying calm but feels her hands heating up but thinks about something calming to soothe her nerves.

Time. It's many things to many people, though in this case with Alice right now, it's not working for her, or so it seems.

"Bloody hell! Why did I have to sleep in!?" Alice almost yelled as she ran to the church after getting a boat ride to the island.

Trying not to trip, she slowed down to a walking speed as Alice went up the steps and knocked on the door.

"Come on Alice, 1 2 3..breath in and out..you don't wanna look like a mess today..and besides, what could go wrong?" She kept reassuring herself as she waited for someone to answer the door.

Oh! Nice to meet you, I'm Alice. She introduced herself to the woman that answered the door.

"Not really, but I'll be fine walking down the aisle by myself.." Alice replied to Molly as she followed suite inside the building and to the dressing room.

'Whew, I'm not late after all...this better be worth it.' She thought as they walked along.

Elliot had dreaded the thought of marrying, he had only just recovered from the death of his girlfriend, was it right to just... move on? Elliot stepped off of the boat waving away his parents without looking back, he will not enjoy his stay, the warf was long, generally new and unbroken, though, there was one missing plank which annoyed him quite a bit. From his pocket he pulled a map of the island, the church, that's where he needed to be, he began to walk. On his way Elliot admired the strangely shaped terrain, the grassy fields then the bushy trees, the strange hills. The church appeared before him and he saw two girls walk in, he rushed and slipped through the door at the last second, almost hitting his bag against the wall.
"Dammit, wait for me!" He shouted after entering.

"Tsk, fine, let's just get this over and done with.", Elliot followed the man to the dressing room, he stepped inside and watched Harvey do his job. Many thoughts rushed through his mind, he's going to get married and so soon after coming back home. could my life get any worse, my parents just force me into this situation without my consent... it couldn't be that bad.

"After fighting these humans I'm now suppose to marry one?"muttering to himself as he gets off the boat he takes one look around confused at first "I don't get it were is the coliseum? how can we get the marriage started without the coliseum to find our partner." With a sigh he walks toward the only building seemingly most important to the humans here. The humans and their stupid treaty forcing me to obey their command like sheep. all this was deep down in thought while he waited for someone to open the door almost forgetting the others around him.

After about thirty minutes the grooms would hear a knock on their door. The man that had shown them to the dressroom would be standing there. They would be told that it was time for them to take their places. The small men would lead the grooms yo their chapels. They would be lead through the area carefully to avoid the others. Especially their future wifes.

Griffin went from pissed to curious and back again as he got dressed. He hated the monkey suit his father had picked out. The only good thing he could see about this arranged marriage was that he would finally have some freedom. His father agreed to allow him to live on the island for a year. That might not seem like much to some. But for him it was an answer to prayer.

Once he was dressed he followed the little man through the hotel. They didn't take a straight path which told him they were avoiding the area where his bride was. He was curious which heroe's daughter had gotten stuck with him. He hoped that she wasn't too against this marriage. He didn't want to go from one cage to another one.

"It's time."

Scarlett looks into the mirror and sighs. She looks pretty in her pink dress with a sweet heart line. She guess the lady did a good job curling her to make it wavy and the butterfly clips to keep her hair out of her face. She hears a knock on her door she follows the small man through the hotel to the place where the ceremony is being held. She walks down the aisle to stand next to her husband to be and stares at him to her he is cute for a villain.
