Working on my character(s). What kind of cards are in the game? I only ever seen the anime up to Xros Wars. I know Tamers anime used cards but it's been ages since I've seen that.

Never got around to watching Tri and what I have heard of the Appmon anime sounds unappealing.

I left my character's age blank, not being sure of the range, but I was thinking early college years.

I like the more mature themes of Digimon and enjoy when plots like Cyber Sleuth focus on these themes and use more adult characters.

I wasn't sure of the timing on that, and if the Wonderswan games all happened before Tamers or not. Also, I'm fairly sure Ryo's just OP, seeing as he jumped dimensions.

Wonderswan games happened before Tamers, but contradict 02 while somehow being still Canon (Ryo appears in a flashback). And Ryo actually pays a lot for his OP-ness, to the point where it wasn't worth it.

Then again, part of my attachment to Ryo comes from good Yaoi fanfiction.

@Pudding It would probably just be the Digi-Modify thing that Tamers did. Apply a speed up, power up, temporary wings, temporary equip weapons from higher level Digimon. That sort of thing.

In all honesty I'm not a huge fan of that list. If I knew where to find a list for the cards used in Tamers that would be a godsend.

@Pudding To answer your second question, no, you don't begin with your partner. The characters are experienced at the game and have used Digimon within the game, but they do not have any real Digimon partners until the plot gives them one.

Edit: They did. And we probably will too when the Digivolutions start happening. But they won't happen right away due to plot reasons. So basically the Cards are gonna have to be the interim method for powering up at first.

He knows this, and thus feels himself free to act any way he wants in his campus, where thanks to a combination of wealth, looks, and charisma, he rules the 'popular kids'...benevolently. And by that, he is someone who tries to curb the excesses of those who have power over others, due to a sense of obligation.

Background: Born to a Filipino Mestizo landowner widower and his lower-class mistress, Leon was spared some of the stigma from his bastard birth (and later his sexuality), by his father legitimizing him as his heir, before sending him back-and-forth between the Philippines and America to study. While in both countries, Leon acquired a passion for Digimon and was able to satisfy his passion for the franchise's products while at the same time engaging in his studies. He also had a few boyfriends and girlfriends at around this time. But, beneath this playboy exterior lay someone who, although he loved his father, wanted to make business decisions other than running a sugar plantation.

Specifically, he wanted to be both a professional gamer and introduce professional gaming to the Philippines, becoming an e-sports tycoon. And as he knew Digimon and its own related E-sports like the back of his hand, it was no idle dream. Failing that, however, his contingency would be to found his own entertainment company that would distribute Anime memorabilia in the Philippines...

Haruka fondly remembers playing for hours, learning how to play, and eventually forging his signature strategy.

Double Bubble- Fires a pair of concussive bubbles.
Personality:
A toddler of a Digimon who speaks in short, repeated phrases. Gummymon has a comically serious side.

Personality:
Nefertimon is a Digimon with grace and ferocity. Her loyalty to Harkua is unquestionable, though at times she worries in silence. She dabbles in the arts of egyptoid magic.

Stage: Ultimate
Species: Cho-Hakkaimon
Appearance:

Techniques:
Hard-Swung Homerun (Kyoushin Homerun)- Sweeps the opponent into her rocket powered sledge rake and launches them into the distance with a powerful strike.
Dadada Minchi- A whole hog barrage of strikes in rapid succession, usually finished with the teeth of her rocket rake. (During which, she repeats Dadada circ ad nauseam.)
Buta no Maruyaki- When engulfed with a deep desire, her body becomes wreathed in the flames of her hunger.
Personality:
Overall, Cho-Hakkaimon is a very sweet Digimon. However, she is somewhat clumsy, which leads to her natural concern overwhelming her. Being somewhat sensitive in addition, there are some things that will send her into a tizzy, sometimes of blind rage. Though she'll never ask it, she secretly wants to be pampered. Caring for Cho-Hakkaimon can be difficult.

To Shishun-kyou- Recites endless words of gratitude to calm even the most wild and savage heart.
Kochoumu-kyou- Manifests the ordeals that it has suffered and showers them on the opponent.
Mugen Danmakushin-kyou- Displays an illusion that its scattered rosary beads are endlessly attacking the opponent from all directions in order to crush their spirit.
Kai Danmakushin-kyou- Uses the power of the Mugen Danmakushin-kyou to recreate previous techniques with her prayer beads.
Personality:
Sanzomon is a tempered, reserved, decisive Digimon whose heart is filled with dedication.
