Glad to hear it. For the most part, my next 'GM post' will contain NPC activity for Aewin, Snaggle, and you, while the new NPC addition will be for Melo. In theory, I could post up Melo's part sometime shortly, but I figured it's best to wait for the reactions to Paula and then put it all together.

So, just a heads up for everyone: Shoryu's neighborhood had a nasty power outage about 30 minutes ago. Last I spoke with him, he got his computer into hibernation, but things are still really up in the air. The power company has an estimated 2,000 people without power and a restoration time of about 3.5 hours from now. I'm hoping that it doesn't take that long. -.- This will more than likely put a significant delay in RP stuff.

No more significant than the delay already would be due to all the data I've needed to recover this last week. The PC started up again without any major problems for once, so I'm more or less in the same place I was prior to the power failure (which has, as you can all imagine, been fixed sooner than expected) happening, apart from my mood being worse.

Overall, things could've been a lot worse, but they could be a lot better too. Pretty much 'life', right?

• Lawrence Cody's CS and Colleen Cody's CS have been added to the 'NPCs' section. Both were added to 'The Cast'.

I read Lawrence in the IC and swore that I clicked the wrong RP by accident, since it's the name of my character in the other RP I'm in right now.

I would expect my post tomorrow, it will be sometime Wednesday at the absolute latest.

I know you're juggling this and the Danganronpa role-play, and people aren't meant to feel pressured to post daily or anything anyway. I'm mostly just hoping this thread stays alive and healthy.

No problem. It's like tsukune said -- there's no rush.

While I do want to keep this thread relatively active, both with the IC and the OOC (since, as Snaggle said, a healthy OOC makes a role-play healthy in general), I don't want people to feel pressured to post in the IC ridiculously fast. I set the schedule as a week (even if that would make the thread move pretty slowly) because that sounds reasonable to me, but we can either post a lot quicker than that or stick to that schedule.

I think it'd be helpful if people just try to keep the OOC active to an extent when they can, like how me and Snaggle have been doing. I'm also quite curious to see how people are taking to these NPCs I'm introducing both in the IC and the character tab.

I figured I should let you all know (Ailyn knows) that roughly two or three hours ago my PC decided to have another one of its major breakdowns. Before even getting close to recovering all the information I'd lost last weak, I've now lost a shit lot more, which I'm currently in the process of trying to solve. The remnants are barely recognizable, and heaven only knows if my persistence will be enough to make this work.

Long story short -- I honestly don't know what my condition is right now. I've already gone close to a day without sleep, and now I'm probably about to be forced to do another all-nighter just so try and see what's even salvageable. Nevertheless, I'll keep an eye on this thread since it's basically the main reason I'm sticking around this site now, and I want to make it work considering all the effort I put into it and the interest you've all given it.

For the time being, this is your benevolent overlord giving you a status report.

The actual likelihood of my stuff being all sorted in a few weeks is pretty small, so I think we'll be better off just continuing. Apart from the stuff which got lost yesterday and the week previously, I've got a several year backlog of work to organize on not only this PC but also paper notes, USBs, et cetera. It'll be a very long and frustrating process.

Having a role-play like this to put my time into it while I try to deal with it all is better for my morale, honestly. That's one of the reasons that I'm in a better mood when the OOC here is somewhat active, and it makes dealing with my workload a lot less stressful too. So yeah, it's better if we keep this up. All it means is I could randomly become more difficult to contact at times, though not too much since I usually leave at least one tab on my PC running this site in the background just so I can make regular checks for activity.
