I don't understand the appeal to RPing things you do in a tavern. Drink,eat, sleep, talk and leave...and then come back the next day.

Tell stories, interact, perhaps the odd fight...there is plenty that can happen in a tavern

@Bishop Though I'm new to this site, I've been on plenty of other sites that hosted RPs like this, and it's really all about player interaction. Giving the player's a blank slate, like a tavern, to roam in provides opportunities for almost an infinite amount of hilarious circumstances. It's more about what the players do IN the tavern, then what the tavern does for the players. (Also, it's always good that the characters are propelled into the story by booze, right?)

Of course, everyone has their own cup of tea, so Tavern-RPing just might not be for you. That's completely fine.

I've recruited for roleplays straight out of tavern conversation and am considering doing something similar for 1x1/small groups in the same context, so there's that possibility.

Character interaction and building. Who knows what might happen in a tavern...
