Since this is a new town, I've listed locations of interest where your characters could head and be at at the start so it's entirely possible people don't see each other right away. Anyhow at some placed you may gain information, or buy items or meet other people. Up to you ^^

I think an interesting factor for towns like shezze is there is no day and night, no alteration amongst the constant moment.
There is just the eternal darkness of now.
Days do not exist. There is nothing to seperate them without a sun stone.

@Dark Light yeah that's pretty much it. There may be a small tiny medalion sized shard for the local priest to preach with, but beside that's its only darkness.

Interesting side topic based on this, in certain parts of the Finland and northern Europe it actually stays night for several months of the year, as well as staying day for several of the other. So its a sunny day at 2Am or its pitch black at noon. Its fascinating, and sounds terrifying.

The more you know :P

But I agree, it's pretty terrifying to imagine a world that consists of only darkness. Gives me the Heebie Jeebies :P

@Dark Light It's a primal thing - the survival instinct. Darkness is the domain of horrors and dangers we cannot see, things that stalk out there without us seeing them. Thus from those ancient days the instincts remain to hide and fear the dark.

You might have counted 10 sleeps to another's 8.
There is no reason to differentiate your meals.
No countdown to the end of the day. It's endless...
Just a continuous struggle, stuck frozen in the eternal darkness of time till you die.
