His smile shifted into a bit of a frown as he listened to the analysis of his weapon. He wouldn’t deny that it was cheap, for sure; it wasn’t like he could pull easy to use, high quality weapons out of his pocket like a magician. He couldn’t argue him, so he just nodded his head in agreement. “Alright, can do. Thanks. Just warning you though, I’m not gonna be able to work any guns that’re too big or fancy. It’s not like target practice has been my passion in life”. Not like a medical worker would need guns too much in the first place. He didn’t look very happy at the request of turning over his other weapon; if he wasn’t wearing his glasses, Grayson would have been able to catch a hint of a distrusting glare. Him fully disarming himself around people he barely knew didn’t sit too well with him. It was a shifty prospect despite the fact that he wasn’t shown any hostility, so he placed his hand on his holster and refused. “I’d rather hold onto this one for the time being, until we get to your workshop”. He kept his tone level, but it was pretty clear that he didn’t quite trust Grayson yet. Or the rest of the crew, for that matter. He didn't even know them at all, much less enough to lose his minimal self defense around them.

Platform 772 remained silent the entire time he followed Stryker...well, as silent as metal marching could be. Once they reached its quarters it spoke up. "With respect, this unit does not require a 'living' space. Waiting in our designated area was within acceptable perrameters."

772 waited while receiving tactile uploads. Analyzing them tactical errors. He would transmit the data to the other units. After reviewing the data, he would contact Stryker through his built in communicator. "Stryker, pardon my intrusion but I wish to assess my units role. Are we to act as decoys our be installed with equipment that allow us to provide more support to the team?"

Amy heard footsteps behind her, although she didn't necessarily get up to figure out who had approached her.

"Arex?" she said in a raspy voice, tightening her grip on the dampened cloth he was offering her before wiping her mouth clean. "I'm fine...for now."

She held out a hand and when she found Arex's arm, she used him to pull herself up. "I'm not sure what came over me, but I started getting flashbacks of one of my past missions and it all came back to me..." She was only half lying, although she started to admire her own ingenuity. But then the terrible thoughts invaded her mind again, and despite her empty stomach, her facial expression clearly changed. "But thank you for checking up on me, doesn't matter whether they sent you or not."

"Fair enough" Grayson said as Maxi assessed his own combat ability "Plenty of easy-use and reliable firearms out there, I'm sure we'll find somethin' suited for ya. Come on, War Room's upstairs, gotta get ya up to speed"

He led the way up to the Command Deck and headed straight into the War Room, where Stryker was addressing the combat drone.

@BKburke

"Yes, fair question 772. You and the squadron will be outfitted with a mix of standard kits. CenturiaTech Riot Shields and M-77 Machine Pistols for the frontline, M-68 Assault Rifles or X-22 Laser Rifles for the vanguard. All units will carry a grenade as well. Specific orders will be issued once the nature of the mission is confirmed"

Stryker turned to see Grayson and Maxi enter.

"Ah, you're back. You're Churrox I presume? Welcome aboard. Call me Stryker. Let's get you up to speed....."

He raced through the basic details of the mission, and then explained that Maxi would be placed on the boarding party with most of the others. He finished up the short speech by looking around the room.

"Everyone clear on the objectives are dismissed, anyone with questions, voice them now"

Arex nodded, and after a small pause spoke again sharing his thoughts.

"Sorry doll face but I don't think there were any sick days in our contract. We're still a few hours out but your gonna need to pull yourself together.

I don't know who you pissed off to end up here or what you've done on those past missions but you gotta remember this ain't no ordinary team, this is a bloody wolves den. You can't let yourself be seen as weak or a liability to anyone. Half these jerks would just as easily shoot you in the back to walk through you instead of taking the small step to go around. They'd do it without even dropping their smile too.

Arex said sternly with a bit of humour, sarcasm and serious concern as he helped her up and guided her to the sinks. Offering himself as support and at the ready to catch her should she feel dizzy or weak of the legs.

Unless asked otherwise he would also escort Amy to her room.

Amy leaned forward and placed her hands on either side of the sink, her grip tightening around the steel surface as she took into consideration just how true Arex's words were.

"Unfortunately for me, you are absolutely right.  But, I'd much rather let them underestimate me than have them think I walk around without a flaw. I wouldn't do anything to endanger us though, so please don't think of me as a liability, despite my lack of sight."

Had she otherwise not been blind, Amy would have been starting directly at her reflection as she spoke. She realized just how nice and thoughtful Arex was being with her, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was deceiving her in any way, just like she had all of them fooled. But despite his intentions, she nonetheless felt a slight tinge of guilt.

Amy cleared her mind for a moment by splashing some water on her face. "I'm not a bad person, I'm just here to do my job."

Finally, a truly honest statement from her, or so she hoped. Amy grabbed a handful of paper towels to dry her face.

"I suppose I should go back to my room now to get some rest before our arrival."

He followed Grayson to the war room, careful to make note of how to get back to his room when the meeting was over. They had made it to the meeting as someone finished giving instruction to some sort of a bot. He gave a quick nod of confirmation when he was asked his name, and immediately got a rundown of their current mission tossed to him. He was there for about three minutes at this point and a plan was already presented to him for the raid of a suspected Federation outpost. He was to be on the team going in; hopefully less to shoot people, and more to make sure the people on his team didn’t die. He wouldn’t be much help in the department of landing a good hit.

With his role in the operation in mind and with no pressing questions on his job, he went back to Grayson. “So, you gonna suit me up with some better weapons?” he asked, putting his hand back on the one in his holster. “I’m starting to think I’ll need them for this next mission”. He’d also need to stock some more medical supplies into his bot; he’d have to head down to his room after getting set up to grab some medical equipment in case of an accident during the raid. Said bot had been tailing behind its owner silently, awaiting any input or requests.

"Yep, come on lad, off to the Armory" Grayson said, walking out of the War Room. He led the way on the very short distance between the War Room and Armory, input his biometric scan to open the door, and welcomed Maxi inside.

"Just throw your old gun on the desk here" Grayson said as he did the same with the laser pistol, then busied himself checking the readout screens on the nearest display cases, wondering if the Alliance might have provided something to suit their current need. As expected, there was nothing quite as simplistic as Maxi preferred, so he wandered over to the crates that his own collection was stored in, slid open the front panel and began to root around for the weapon.

"Really need to grab a moment to clean this place up a bit" he said, more to himself than Maxi "30 M-68's on display, and not a single TAR-92, the Alliance should be ashamed of themselves.... ah here we are"
He stood up with a new laser pistol in hand.
"TX-5, fairly new model at that, and a definite step up from that TX-2. They've upgraded from Lithio-Proton energy cell to a Thermo-Ionic, they last longer, and aren't prone to any leakage or drain-cycles. The thing about the TX Series is that rapid-fire built up too much heat, and there was nowhere for it to go. The TX-5 introduced this venting system on the heat-sink, and a gauge below the sights to monitor it. Weapon's overheating? Hold the vent release button here on the side and wait a few seconds. Now I still don't recommend rapid-firing if you can avoid it, tends to shag up the regulator battery over time" Grayson turned the weapon over in his hands and offered the handle to Maxi Now, we don't have a firing range or anything on board, but grab ahold of it, see how it feels in your hand. If you like it, we'll move on to your ballistic"

A short time after the stop at Phoebe Station.

Inside the cargo hold, the Machine stirred. Its sensors indicated that the ship had quickly docked to a station and departed just as quickly - last minute provisions, no doubt. That would have been the last time the ship stopped at a station before departing for wherever its destination was. The docking logs at Chronos Station hadn't mention its existence at all, and yet there it had been, which meant one of two things: either a it was black-ops, or it was a pirate vessel. Either way suited the Machine just fine, as it meant a quick escape from Alliance territory and less trouble than dealing with a military ship.

The Machine, a black sphere measuring one foot in diameter, popped into the air out of the back of the stack of crates. The relevant iris doors on its front end slid open to reveal two somewhat short mechanical "tentacles", each tipped with a manipulator, and the Machine began zipping about within the cargo hold, silently scanning each crate. It performed a celebratory flip in midair upon finding the crate it was searching for, entered in the relevant password on the crate's keypad, and hovered silently as the crate hissed and popped open. A university-age humanoid woman pulled herself out of the crate.

The woman, standing at 5'5", gave the Sphere a quick shove into her own box and went about her business inside the cargo hold. It didn't occur to her or the Sphere to bother locking the cargo bay doors.

Elsewhere in the ship, sounds of crates moving and a series of loud 'cracks' could be heard from the direction of the cargo and shuttle hold for only a very short time before silence came once more. Despite the noise, though, no signs of life could be detected inside.

Jeez, the room looked like a storm had run through it. He did a quick visual sweep of the room; there were a few Alliance grade weapons that looked ridiculously confusing to him, and a storage area of even more weapons that looked like a disorganized mess. He poked his head up and stood on his toes to try and get a look at the contents of Graysons weapons closet, before falling back on his heels when the weapons expert faced him with a new gun. It looked similar to his old one to him, but more intricate and refined.

He looked with a bit of a blank stare as Grayson rambled on about the functions of the gun, from how it was powered to the new ventilation system. A good chunk of the model and power system stuff went over his head, seeing he wasn’t an expert in the field, but he did store the terminology in his head so he could inquire more about it later. Nothing better than learning new stuff, after all. When Grayson finished his lecture on the weapon and handed it to Maxi, he took it rather gingerly, turning it around and around in his hands to inspect it before holding it properly. It felt rather weird due to some differences in structure, but it was a rather good fit. He pressed the ventilation button that was previously mentioned before releasing it and putting it into his holster.

“Yeah, it’ll work, at least I think it will. But that’s what testing stuff on the field is for, amiright?” judging from the analysis of his old weapons, using one he didn’t know perfectly was safer than using the one he knew well but would give in in a pinch. Now equipped with a working weapon, he took his ballistic from it’s holster and put it on the counter . “Here’s the other one. Hopefully you’ve got something to replace it, too” he said, offering a half smile. “And is there a lab or a workshop in here, bychance? I need to stock up on some tools.”

"Aye, there's some kind of lab downstairs, down below the Crew Deck, think someone might've set up shop in there already, but should have everything you need." Grayson jabbed a thumb to point over his shoulder "And there's a little weapon's workbench just around the corner behind me, haven't had a look yet at what kinda tools they've given me though. But now, let's see what we got here"

He picked up the ballistic pistol and identified it as a Berensen 312, or perhaps a cheaply made knockoff. Either way it was a low-quality weapon, production wise.
"This is a solid pistol, save for some obviously cheap parts, particularly on the slide, and whoever crafted this thing wasn't payin' much mind to the possibility of jams. The ejection port is awful skinny. Give me a second here"

After some more digging around in his personal stores, he retrieved a revolver and a semi-auto pistol, and then walked over to one of the Alliance display cases to pull out another semi-auto. He laid out all 3 guns on the desk and picked out the revolver.
"Alright, so first question is, what style of gun will fit ya best? We have a Rollinger-X6 revolver here. One of mine. Decent stopping power, no chance of misfire or jamming, but she only holds 6 rounds and you gotta reload each one into the cylinder manually, which can leave ya exposed in a tight situation. Doesn't get anymore simple in the operations department though, point and shoot, and watch your kickback"

He moved on to the next weapon, one of the semi-autos "Over here is another of mine, Veritas-M7, holds 12 in the clip, plus one in the chamber, I haven't used her in a while, so I'd take 'er apart an polish everythin' up if you wanted to take her. Very nice piece all in, nice wide port for clean casing ejects, shouldn't have to worry about her jammin' up on ya. Good fire rate, clean and fast on the reload. And to top it off, she's fairly simple to use. She's not very powerful though, lackin' just a bit on that scale."
He quickly moved on to the final weapon.
"The last gun here is an Alliance standard M9X, holds up to 20 rounds and its got a fair amount of power behind those rounds, but they have a couple design flaws that I can see, give me an hour and I could buff those out, give ya a nice formidable piece. At the end it's your choice, whichever one sounds the best and feels the most comfortable in your hands. Fair warning though mate, you've got my TX-5 there, you could end up walkin' out of here with 2 guns from my personal collection, and you better treat 'em right. You don't want to meet the Grayson that comes out when someone mistreats his babies, he's a very nasty customer indeed. Hopefully, you don't have to worry about that at all, so yeah, go ahead and have a look at them, see what ya think"

Maxi looked rather excited at the news of the lab. Having a full on workspace, even though he would have to share it, was a luxury he didn’t expect. He was almost bouncing on his heels, ready to go check out the lab the second his other gun was given a replacement. He paid a little bit of attention to his analysis of his ballistic, and managed to focus himself again when he was presented with the guns that could act as a replacement. He picked up each of them one at a time, Looking them over and holding them as if he would use them. The alliance gun was by far a definite no; it didn’t feel natural, and it looked far too complex for him to handle. The other two, ones that Grayson said were his own, both seemed easy to hold. He mentally weighed the pros and cons- the semi was a bit weaker but had less of a hassle for reloading, and the revolver could pack a punch but had horrid reloading. Both seemed simple enough for him to learn the specifics of use in the battlefield.

After roughly half a minute of looking between the two guns and trying to figure out which would work best for him, he settled on the semi automatic. He placed the semi on the table and handed the pistol back to Grayson. “I think the semi’ll work better for me. Pretty sure I can use it without an issue”. He preferred not having to sit and reload a gun like a sitting duck, especially since he hadn’t practiced it and he’d be busy helping anyone who got hurt. Though if it didn’t work well for him, there was no shame in coming back and asking for a refit. Better nervous than dead.

He straightened up a little when Grayson gave his warning. “Of course, of course! I’ve no intent to get them damaged. I know how much it sucks to have something in a collection get messed up.” he offered a half smile of reassurance before directing his gaze back to the ballistic he had chosen. “You said you needed to polish that up, right? D’you know when that’ll be done?” he asked, before adding on. “Thanks for lending me these, by the by.”.

"Alright, everyone dismissed" Stryker said to those still gathered around the War Room, he turned his attention to his datapad "Get your gear in order and be ready to move when we hit the system. Anyone who needs an ammo top-up, see Grayson in the Armory. According to this, there's a keyboard embedded in a wall hatch alongside the armory door, type your requests in there and he's supposed to get a notification on the Armory terminal about it if he's in there. Be ready to move"
He left the Armory, setting combat roles for the Attack Platforms on the datapad as he walked. He also assigned a download of basic piloting to 772 to ensure the drone would be able to fly the shuttle over to the Helsin station. Stryker arrived at the cockpit and took his seat. He spoke briefly before turning his attention back to the datapad, intending to familiarize himself with the ship's weapon systems for the remainder of the trip.
"Sepitan, increase the burn by another 20, see if we can shave some time off that ETA"

@Tickout

Grayson placed the other two guns back into storage, took his seat at the desk and began to disassemble the Veritas.
"Ah, don't mention it lad. Give me a tight 15 and I'll have her all shined up for ya" A screen embedded in the desk's surface lit up. Request from Stryker for weapon kits to outfit the drones with.
"I best get to it then, lots of work in the next couple hours. Listen, if ya don't come back for her, I'll track ya down in a little while"

90 MINUTES LATER

Grayson set the final footlocker down and locked it into a secure position. After sending Maxi off, he'd polished up the Veritas and then got to work assembling the requested weapons together. Then he armored up and called SAL in to help carry everything down to the cargo bay. First, stacking the weapon kits down next to the attack drones, as requested, next placing a few boxes of ammo into the primary shuttle to top up the crew's weapons, and finally bringing his gear down to the secondary shuttle and securing it until needed. He was testing out a portable oxygen tank inside the shuttle when he heard a thump coming from the far corner of the room. With a nod to SAL, he drew one of his BlackHammer pistols and inched towards the source of the racket. Rounding a tall stack of storage crates, Grayson found himself facing what appeared to be an AI core tower and a human-shaped drone who was tugging at a crate, trying to dislodge it from the pile.
"Drop it, hands in the air mate" Grayson said, raising his gun. SAL stomped out of the shuttle with his shotgun raised.
"I will alert Stryker"

If the robot or AI program planned on talking it's way out of this situation, it wasn't doing a very good job. Grayson and SAL stood by in silence, guns still trained on the stowaways until the elevator arrived, signalling Stryker's arrival.
"Alright" the captain said to the robot, a hand on his own holstered pistol "Talk. Who are you, how'd you get on this ship, what are your intentions, and why are you smuggling around an AI core?"
"It was tryin to get at those two crates along the bottom" Grayson said "Doesn't seem like they're on the shipping manifest"
"Ok then, one last question... what's in the crates?"

Apprehended by the Captain, five minutes too soon.

The female drone dropped the crate immediately upon request. Without the weapons unpacked and on hand, it wouldn't be the greatest idea to try to fight her way out of it no matter how strong her shields were and how few targets she would be against. Slowly, with no sudden motions, she stood upright and raised her hands as requested, then turned to face the Captain and the inferior machine. The smart move would be to answer the Captain's questions quickly and concisely.

"I am Rento. I boarded at Chronos Station, and the crates were loaded by some underpaid personnel looking to make a quick buck. I'm trying to exit Alliance territory, and I assume you are too, given that this ship wasn't on any official docking records. And 'AI Core'? If you're referring to my Tower, I take it everywhere with me."

She nodded towards the crates before continuing in acknowledgement of Grayson's query. "The small crate contains the remainder of my equipment, including some food and antique weaponry, and the large crate contains another functioning body."

"Well I'll be" Stryker said "We got ourselves a rogue one. Ok Rento, we're a little pressed for time, so here's the cliff notes. I'm Stryker and the ship is the Revenant. We're not Alliance, but we're working for them. In fact, we're just about to begin a mission for them, your presence is a little unexpected, to say the least, and to be quite frank, I don't know what to do with you, so how about this for a deal? As of now, you and the other drone in the case work for me. You guys help us out on this job, we don't throw you out the airlock, or turn you over to the Alliance. We'll keep your weapons and this uhh 'Tower' locked up until we have a chance to talk more, get to know each other a little. How's that sound?"

Stryker turned to the others "We good to go?"
"Just about" Grayson said "I've got my rifles and that other case secured on shuttle 2. Case of ammo on shuttle 1, and the drones' weapon kits are over by the pod, they don't seem too enthusiastic about arming up"
"Yeah, I've got to assign 'em when I go to get my armor on" Stryker replied "SAL, take those crates out, then bring that Tower up to one of the storage rooms upstairs. Grayson, take their weapons up to the Armory and lock them up. Rento, activate the other one, then you'll follow me up to the Command Deck, I'll show you your jobs. And no funny business"

Compliant. Mostly.

Rento nodded in acknowledgment of everything Stryker said, then waited for SAL's assistance in removing the larger crate. Pound for pound, she matched SAL's strength, and when the crate was free, a she didn't even bother putting in a password. The crate unlocked itself from inside and the second drone - a much larger male model construct, built similarly to Rento, sat up and climbed out. This machine, however, was much less animated and seemed to be running on a very simple AI routine, if its stilted motions were anything to go by. Both Rento and the new machine moved to follow Stryker wherever he lead them.

"I'm ready. Now... You're working for Alliance, hm?"

She leaned towards Stryker to examine his outfit. "Nice uniform. I didn't realize the Alliance offered so much wiggle room in their dress code these days. You sure you're not a pirate?"

Straightening up again, she continued. "Doesn't really matter, though. You've got an airlock and three people, and I don't even have a helmet on. What'll I be doing to earn my keep?"

SAL and Grayson had gone ahead to finish up their tasks while Stryker waited for the second bot to power up.
"It's not exactly that simple. Let's say for now that we're more like independent contractors. Come on" Stryker said, leading the way to the stairs "You'll be taking up a post at a couple of our gunner seats. Our crew's going to be boarding a mining station that needs to be destroyed, they're clearing it out from the inside, we'll be attacking from the outside."

@Banana@PlatinumSkink@Rultaos@mackielars@Xandrya@Dark Light@BKburke@Tickout@Turbowraith

"Wait here, pick out a seat" He said to them as they arrived outside the cockpit. He walked inside to grab the datapad, and witness their arrival at Zargos.
"Well isn't that a sight" Stryker said as he looked out on the view. It was a small system, just four Colony-level planets, three moon structures and a blue sun. Hovering above what Stryker assumed was Zargos Major was their target, the Helsin mining station.

"Shame the bastards fragged the hell out of it during the war, wouldn't have minded settling down somewhere like this" he said to Tibulus "Post up in the shadow of the nearest moon, then cut the engines. Keep your comm open, I'll be in contact shortly.... oh and we had a couple stowaways in the cargo bay. No big deal, I told them they're workin' for us now or I'd throw em out the airlock"

He intercepted Belov and Sammn outside "Last minute change of plans. Belov, gear up, you're going with the boarding party. Sammn, this is Renli and Rento, they'll be joining you on the guns, keep an eye on 'em will ya?"
He tapped into the ship-wide comms and began to speak as he walked down towards the ladder to the forward battery.
"Alright everybody, rise and shine. It's go time, get your gear and get down to the shuttles. You all know the plan, now's the time to act on it. Good luck... oh and, kind of a last-minute thing, there's a case of ammo in the shuttle, just inside of that is a box full of comm devices, everyone take one and stay in contact. Stryker out"

@Crossfire It appeared that Grayson was the one in charge of the armory. In that case…

‘If I may ask.’
She went and talked to him at some point before the next thing that happened.

‘My weaponry is all quite deadly, but may struggle against shields. Do we have any striking-weapons that can destroy such defensive measures? No kind of projectile will do, unless it is thrown.’
Lataniva inquired.

It was honestly completely fine if she couldn’t, she had survived this long without anything, but now that it appeared that they had an armory, it would be… nice.

Afterwards, Lataniva had mostly drifted about on the ship, perhaps taken a moment here and there to exercise her muscles and meditate on her psionic prowess, not really engaging in conversation with anyone unless she she was contacted herself. It wasn’t as if she wasn’t used to solitude, so she sought it out for now, and she considered different things. For now, however, she settled for being at peace with herself. So, then, when the call to arms came, she stood up swiftly and ran with precision towards the shuttles.

As commanded, she picked up one of the comm devices and… stared at it. She stared at it, trying to figure out which direction was what and how one would possibly put it on. The tall armored alien woman with bladed weapons and known psionic talents holding a comm upside-down stood trying to convince herself how one would use it.

‘… Assist me with this device.’
She turned and commanded with an annoyed glare at the next and closest person to get themselves a comm device.

Arex had escorted Amy to her room and then left, allowing her to get ready for the mission while he did the same. Decked out from head to toe in his armoured suit and carrying a small briefcase he returned just before the announcement rung through the hallway.
With a knock on the door he called to the woman.
"Am's you ready? It's show time." While he waited for a response he quickly checked over his weaponry, the two tech auto pistols sitting patiently at his hips, the eager unenergised plasma blade sheathed on his back and the his most rarest possession of all, the illegal psionic floating knives carefully concealed within his armour.

Arex was in no rush but when the call came he was already half on his way and at the ready. This put his arrival right behind that of the Dalentian. He couldn't help but stare at the mystic alien creature with a strange curiosity. Similarly different to the look she gave the communication device in her hand. Now looking at her properly for the first time he found her both compelling and intriguing.

It wasn't until she commanded his assistance did Arex finally stop admiring her strange exotic form, markings and otherworldly jewels. Tearing himself free from his daze he continued on to pick up a comm piece for himself. Breaking down the motions into slow easy-to-follow steps he was careful to ensure Lataniva could see the direction and shape of the ear piece as he silently made a demonstration of applying it.

He would pause if he saw trouble in her eyes and repeat it if she got it wrong.

Maxi sat up from where he was waiting when the announcement of their arrival echoed across the ship. During the travel time, he managed to set his bot up with an array of medical equipment both from his bag and the lab. He had enough to deal with a fair chunk of attacks that weren’t instantly fatal, though he did hope no one got shot, or caught in an explosion, or poisoned, or anything else. More work for him. After that, he’d picked up the weapon on borrow from Grayson and spent the remaining time he had left to explore. He’d done a few loops of the ship, learning the floorplan, before waiting in common area for when the ship would arrive. Luckily, he didn’t have to wait too long.

By the time the announcement was up he was on his feet and heading to the launch ships. It didn’t take him long to get there, since he’d been exploring beforehand, but it looked as if two other people had gotten there before him. Two people that were far taller than him, and kind of intimidating. It looked to him like one of them had no idea how to work the communication device they were given, and the other was providing assistance. How nice to see. He grabbed and put in his own communication device on without any difficulty, and watched and waited for the two struggling to figure the thing out. He’d offer a hand if it was needed, but it didn’t look like it would be.

His robot let out a quiet beep and a whir, scanning and detecting basic biological information on the two people automatically. Partially for selfish reasons of curiosity on its master's behalf, but also for medical reasons. Maxi would need to know what species they were and how they worked if something went wrong and he had to treat them. Something fatal to a human could breathe life back into an alien, after all. Once the scanning was complete, the beeping and whirring stopped, and the cube floated closer to Maxi. With the information gathered, Maxi decided to observe and wait. The one with no technological abilities looked incredibly foreign, and he’d have to do more race related research. The other looked far from the definition of normal male human as well. Very, very interesting.
