Eeek, triple post.

@TwelveOf8! Just so I'm making sure I've got this right (heehee), you're sending Team B and C right, right? Is Team A going right as well from the starting position too? I just want to double-check that I'm marking my map correctly and don't want to accidentally drown mildly inconvenience any characters or adorable robots due to a misunderstanding early on.

@HylozoistMy understanding is that whenever we decide to move, we all group up first then move as a single unit. Hopefully, video game logic will save the day. May the force be with us.

I probably shouldn't be thinking about this while I'm tucked up in bed and drinking hot chocolate, but I think I understand - all three teams, the cleaner bot and Fiddlesticks go right, right? So you'd meet up with the rest of the bees that went right? I should really leave this until tomorrow morning, because I'm probably both spectacularly missing the obvious and making things more confusing than they need to be.

Video game logic should be enough to carry you to victory, though I guess it depends on what game logic we're using here. I just introduced a friend to Hatoful Boyfriend this evening ("So.. you're a bird that goes to school and dates other birds?" "No, you're a human that goes to a school and dates birds!" "Why do you like this?" "Shuu is my husbando."), so maybe not all video game logic will save you.

@HylozoistWell, if it came to dating various avian species. I would probably employ the logic used to conquer hatoful boyfriend. The logic the whole thing remains forever beyond my reach it seems. Perhaps I need a few more fever dreams.

Autobots assemble! Move out! That's about it.

You don't conquer Hatoful Boyfriend, it conquers you. I suppose that the logic that game teaches you isn't easily applied to scenarios other than avian dating situations and, even then, it's probably only relevant to dating Japanese birds. Dating pigeons here probably requires a different approach due to cultural differences. If I start including avian romance in this game, you have my permission to stop me before I get carried away.

@HylozoistBy all means, include avian romance. It would introduce a new, confusing, and deeply unsettling dynamic to the game. Sounds like fun.

I heard that the pidgeons in Europe are very aggressive. Not getting out of the way, flying into people, and such. Hatoful Boyfrined: London would probably be like that old ps2 game The Getaway, but with birds. Or that movie Birdemic.

If the birds ever got frisky and vicious we could always fight them off with coat hangers.

I see it as Hellgate London (I actually kind of enjoyed that game, oh god) meets Birdemic. But, yeah, our pigeons are crazy, wild-eyed bastards that have somehow survived in an environment that's pretty hostile to them. You see a huge pigeon, it's feet mostly missing, feathers all out of place, and you know the only reason you're still alive is because that pigeon has chose to let you live.

I guess avian romance isn't that odd, considering that there's going to be robot-and-alien-romance-through-a-human-intermediary. Avian romance seems positively normal, now I think about it.

@HylozoistI suppose it isn't that weird in the context of this game, touché.
But I'm not sure if I ever want to visit London now. What with the evil super pidgeons. Maybe if I wore enclave power suit armour.

I believe tourists are advised not to wear armour, because it could trigger an arms race with the pigeons that Her Majesty's Government is not entirely confident it could win.

My brain is failing to co-operate, but there was this television programme over here a few years ago, on one of the BBC channels, in fact, hold on, let me ask my surrogate brain.

Okay, typing into Google "tv comedy puppets fox pigeon cat dog" got me exactly what I was looking for. The programme was called "Mongrels", and it had a good example of a malevolent pigeon in it. I wouldn't necessarily suggest this as a primer for understanding the mentality of London pigeons, but the character has stuck in my mind fairly well, and the show was.. not that bad.

I hope that you've all got a fun-filled weekend to look forward to!

Sorry to push things back a little, and to triple-post, but I'm holding off a little on a GM post at the moment - there's the Above Ground stuff that hasn't been responded to, and I don't want to race ahead on the underground front, but try to keep them vaguely in parity for reasons that might come up, and for my own sake of mind.

With that being said, and pursuant to the idea that I should be making sure there's enough stuff to bounce off of - is there enough to react to in the last above ground GM post? If you want me to move things forward a bit there, let me know, and I'll do so! Most likely on Monday.

No worries, busyness strikes us all, although I have been trying ever so hard today to do anything but the things I'm supposed to be busy with.

Hope it went well!

I'll get a post up tomorrow.

Also, just a heads up, but my busy days this week are likely to be Tuesday (going to be sewing like a champion all day) and Wednesday (sewing and picking up new glasses!).

@Valor You could always have Vanessa ask Toony if she needs something to bite. Toony can't be infected at all and all that fun stuff. Though I can see her playing the role of a vampire robot for a little bit for funsies.

Replied to Toony, interacted with the slime.

Also, Vanessa's just being careful. Her old job dealt with public relations and even a tiny misstep could ruin years of negotiations, so it's more of a habit than anything else.
