Personality
A lot of people seem to have this misconception about me. I am not overconfident. I am not cocky, because it’s not cockiness if you can back it up. And that’s what Asahi Han’ei has. Don’t you forget it!
Asahi does not have confidence — he is confidence. And he’s not exactly modest about it either. He knows exactly what he's doing, or at the very least, he believes wholeheartedly that what he does is the right thing. And speaking of the right thing, he always believes he’s right. There is no ‘ifs’, ‘ands’, or ‘buts’. In his obviously-deluded mind, Asahi is right. Everyone else can go suck it! You hear me, people of the world?! You are wrong! I’m right. And if you don’t agree, I’ll fight you in real life.
Okay, but real talk? Asahi has a serious problem when it comes to facing certain facts that he might be wrong. It’s been brought to his attention a few times that there is a possibilty tha he’s wrong. Shocker, we know! Who knew that someone who offers his magic for the price of one cent less-than ten dollars can be wrong about things? Well, he never did. Even still, it takes a lot for him to admit he’s wrong, mainly because he refuses to admit it unless someone forces him into a difficult position(i.e. he physically forced into submission or something).
What else is there left to say? Asahi is a ray of sunshine that will burn you if you stay too long in his presence. He will for sure annoy the crap out of you, so either tolerate him or make him shut up because he will never stop going on and on about how awesome he is.

| History: |
Asahi has a modest upbringing. He grew up in a rather modest village, Taiyoko Village, that was located on one of the smaller islands of Pandora. They weren’t a large village, but they were proud. And did they ever enjoy the life of a boaster. There wasn’t a moment that they would be celebrating something. Be it Hade’s(pronounced Hah-day) latest client request from the village’s mage board. Or if it was having a bountiful harvest, there was always something to celebrate. And they were loud. Like, think obnoxious levels. Every single one of them had the tendency to shout at the top of their lungs. They weren’t without confidence, either.
And that went double for Asahi.
Born of the two that were in charge of the village, one could say he was being set up to lead the village. He even seemed to be very capable in magic. The only thing, around this time where magic became outlawed. Still, the proud nature of the Taiyokoians would not bow. In fact, they founded the short-lived mage guild Solar Saints. They opposed the Decretius Librarium forces that would eventually make their way to the village.
-events regarding what happened to Taiyoko Village will be revealed ICly-
And after events then happened, a then-nine-years-of-age Asahi fled with just a bag of essentials, and the company of his older brother(5 years older), Shinsei. He would escort his brother to a town not far from Taiyoko, leaving him with a trustworthy, if not eccentric, elderly couple that owed Shinsei a favor. After that, Shinsei was never to be seen, only rumored a few years later to be with the Decretius Librarium. This infuriated a twelve-year-old Asahi so much that he vowed to not only end the Librarium for what happened years ago, but for also to get answers about Shinsei.
And to do that, Asahi had to do what he promised he never thought he would have to do: join a mage guild. But not just any guild. It was the fabled Cloud Chasers Guild. Joining was rather easy since it was pretty much an open-enrollment kind of guild. Though, the fact it was on an airship was — well inspiring. Considering his origins, which was at a village that was had a view of the sun, it felt homey to him. Of course, when people got to know what kind of person Asahi, one could say that it was met with mixed reactions. Some bashed his head in right away and some took a little while until they bashed his head in. Despite that, it didn’t stop him from being who he was. A proud man, that Asahi. He’s proud of his heretage and there wouldn’t be anyone that would deny him of that.
Sun/Solar Magic is a caster-type magic that allow Asahi to become one with the sun. His magic power is fueled by the sun. anything the sun can do, he will be capable of(to a degree, of course). He becomes what the sun represents. Because of that, his spells have such hot intensity that they could produce searing flames that have a fluctuating low to high temperature depending on mood and passion. Each spell is capable of radiating waves of high heat that are moderated to the skill level of its user(Asahi).
Due to the fact that Sun Magic is entirely taken from the sun, it should go without saying that when the sun is at its brightest, Asahi’s magic is at its strongest. And because of that, he would be at his most potent. The reverse could be applied as well. If the sun is not out(night time) then Asahi would more or less be rendered useless. He would only have his fighting capabilities to get him by. As the sun will go down, so will the potency of Asahi’s magic. Think of it this way: as the sun rises, so does his magic potency. At midday, he is at his strongest. And as the sun sets, so does Asahi’s magic, resting until day breaks anew.
It should be noted that Sun Magic has a close relation to Wood and Plant Magic. This is due to the fact that both are characterized by a prominent of natural and vital energies.
| Spells: | Kōgōsei(Photosynthesis 光合成) - Passive/Innate Spell More of a passive ability of Sun Magic usage than anything else. Photosynthesis grants Asahi the ability to take the energy emitted from the sun, and absorb it into his pores. By doing this, he can heal small wounds inflicted on him from enemy attacks. Additionally, he can store up sun energy inside those same pores to use for later as they will mix with his potent, pure magical power. Alternatively, he may use this stored up solar energy to heal others via physical contact from his dominant hand(left). Due to his skill level, he can only charge up sun energy five times per day.
Taiyō Gaitō(Solar Cloak 太陽 外套) A rather simple spell in both appearance and execution. By mixing innate magical power with energy given to him from the sunlight from either the sun itself or sunlight stored via photosynthesis, Asahi “flares up” in an aura of golden flame, sparks of white and red flaring around him. While active it enhances any spells he uses by almost a quarter of their core potency. Additionally, the aura also increases his own physical capabilities by an eighth of their core potency, this includes but not limited to: speed, strength, defense, etc. He is also able to fly, though consider this a work in progress. Also, there is a standard one to two minute period in which this spell can remain active. After that, there is not only a cooldown period of the same time, but all spells will have half the maximum strength during this cooldown period.
Hōshasen Taiyō (Radiating Sun 放射 太陽) By rapidly ionizing and releasing sun magical energy in either of his palms, Asahi is able form intense yellow and red-orange flames condensed into a sphere the size of a baseball that spiral the more eternano that is gathered. As it spins, steam will surround a small radius around Asahi due to the high heat generated. This will mask Asahi’s presence from his enemies. When its form has been completed, Asahi can either hurl it at a target or ram it into the gut. Both provide equal effects. Due to the spells burning and spinning properties, it will bear a drilling-like effect that can pierce through other spells. The power that this spell has within it can leave a modest-sized crater if hit in the ground.
Taiyōfū (Solar Wind 太陽風) As the heat from the sun surrounds Asahi, he channels it in such a way that it creates a solar windstorm - a condensed one, mind you - in front of him in a ten-pace circumference with him at the center of it. By gesturing his arms, he can command this compacted storm to take the shame of a flaming wall that can block incoming spells of equal or lesser-strength. Or he can command it to take the form of its namesake(windstorm), and send hot currents towards someone as a means of offense.
Outside offense and defense, there is a passive ability that this spell has and that is to cause anything caught within its entirety to suffer first to second-degree burns. If they are hit with the offensive countermeasure, a third-degree burn is possible.
Taiyō Yubiwa(Solar Ring 太陽指輪) Easily Asahi’s strongest and most-dangerous spell he currently knows. It is one that derives from the aura of plasma that surrounds the sun during a solar eclipse. As it is, when Asahi’ physical state is withered out and without light(this could be an interpretation of Asahi entering a state of a magical form of a solar eclipse). His reserves are low, his body is torn up from wounds, and he is near passing out. At this point is where the residual heat from his wounds, from the air around him, from any source remaining, gathers in both of his palms, and takes shape in a constant-rotating sphere of flame.
As both sphere come to the center on their own accord, Asahi, through his pain alone, wills the sphere to rise to the sky, absorbing heat as it proceeds upward. Once it gets to the point that it is above all else, it sends pulses of solar energy, which activate certain processes in oxygen to set a battlefield ablaze, scorching all within its twenty-foot region.
One thing to note about this spell is that it’s entirely controlled by Asahi’s pain. This meaning that it’s as strong as he is in physical unbearable agony. As such, the longer he keeps it going will cause him much strife, almost to the point where he might not even be able to keep the spell active. So, in other words, if his focus isn’t maintained, the orb will simply disappear, even before it has gotten the time to do what it was created for. Additionally, if there aren’t substantial wounds, it won’t have as high of a burning potency as one might think. Less-severe injuries will create less-severe spell power.
Laila is a cheery girl with a big heart and a strong work ethic. As far as she’s concerned, life’s all about doing right by your own. Anyone that’s just out for themselves should be ashamed, and anyone that’s leeching off their fellows is a crook. She believes everyone has a duty to pitch in for others when they’re in need, but if they’re taking when they don’t need, than that’s just not right. Naturally, she has a burning hatred for the Librarium, and wants nothing more than to see them gone for good. She’s a blunt and straightforward type, always keen to speak her mind and not possessing a lick of tact or delicacy. In fact, she didn’t know what those words meant until sometime after joining the Cloud Chasers. The way she sees it, the world is a simpler place than people give it credit for. You just need to see past the bullcrap and do what’s right.

| History: | Laila comes from a village called Sangin in one of Pandora’s rural regions. They were never the wealthiest bunch, and that was exacerbated by the system of exploitation carried out by the Decretius Librarium. Laila grew up helping out her family and those around her with the farmwork, and she grew used to hard physical toil from an early age. She also grew used to the sight of Librarium personnel coming to seize as much of their produce as they could. She quickly came to resent the Librarium just as most in the village did, and the word “Deacon” became synonymous with “bully”. Few enjoyed the Librarium’s oversight, but for the most part, everyone managed to eke out a living from what they did. Laila and the other villagers tended to just keep their noses down and keep working, hoping that things would change for the better eventually.
On Laila’s 13th birthday, things did change…for the worse. A sudden blight destroyed a large portion of the village’s crops for the year. It was a bad situation, though at first, Laila’s parents assured her everything would be okay; they could subsist on the small amount they had left and get back to normal next year. However, the local Deacon had other plans. He announced that the village was obligated to meet its production quota, and that he would be taking what they had left no matter what. The villagers protested swiftly, and in the midst of the action, Laila thought it would be the greatest idea ever to give the Deacon a swift kick in the nuts. She certainly succeeded, and even got away without a punishment, but the Deacon didn’t forget the little girl that humiliated him in front of everyone. Knowing she would be punished if she remained, Laila’s parents decided she had to be sent away. Fortunately, they had one solid method of getting her out of harm’s way; the village had a contact in the Cloud Chasers. They arranged for Laila to be taken in by them. Laila didn’t want to leave, but they assured her it was for the best.
It wasn’t long after being taken in by the Cloud Chasers that Laila learnt to use magic. Over the next 10 years, she became a talented fighter and mage, always eager to live up to the creed of the Cloud Chasers. While she’s more than dedicated to the group, her eyes are always cast beyond random acts of opportunistic altruism; she yearns for the day when the Librarium is just a bad memory for Pandora, and when she can return to Sangin and get right back to the farms she left behind.

This is so you..... hence why I love Tundra-senpai so much is because of his concepts into vegetation and sun as well as characters incorporated. I remember Flora-sensei and Jaakuna-san in our respective Naruto RPs

“Honest work, honest treatment.” GOOD. I love her character, I can smell her flaws right away which I think would being overly ethical in work and her hatred against Librarium too which can fall as a flaw because hatred can cause one to lose their selves. It's the first time I reviewed something like this but what I like about her character is because she fit into my character of a "2nd Main Character" specially mentioned Vegeta/Sasuke. This is the type of character I like to see in an RP, straightforward and is willing to get things done than prolong it. I think I have a crush on you now.

Dispite his family, his potental for magic, and for certain reasons, Whirlwind decided to forgo learning magic to train his body. Long years of grueling training and sporatic combat has forged him into a veteran soldier. He posseses almost inhuman physical strength, needed to properly wield his massive
Drive Blade.
This is what The OrgasmPleasure Princess would love in her unit. Wanna join her squad? | Age: |
34
| Sector : |
Library Hunter
| Personality : |
Marcus is...surprisingly laid back with he is not in his role as Judge Magister. He is easygoing, and affiable quick to make a quip and laugh. He is friendly and open speaking plainly, with sincerity. However, when he dones the armor, his business face comes out. He becomes distant and cold. Try to talk to him when he is like this, and you will get a curt answer. He will mercilessly carry out his orders without fail, and to the best of his abilities. No matter what. Duty, Honor, Loyalty, Courage, Justice, Valor. These ideals mean everything to him. He seeks to uphold the law, and the peace. Dispite this, he is still fair and compassionate, he will try to resolve things without a fight, or if a fight comes, end it with minimal bloodshead. His is slow to anger but when he does, he goes off like a volcano. He believes in what he does, but he is nither blind, nor stupid, he knows that the Librarium is not without its corruption, but he sees them as the best way to peace, and so he chooses to side with them.
But deep in his heart, he just wants to be free. There is no logic to it, no rational, he just wants freedom.
Great Personality. I do want you in my unit after all. He reminds me of Wave from Akame ga Kill! Half the realist and half the ideaslist he is.
| History: |
Marcus, or Whirlwind as he prefers to be called, was born to a powerful and old Mage family who can trace their ancestry back for hundreds of years. They also had contact with the Royal Family, who would often choose Retainers from among them. Most everyone in the Astra family bears powerful magic, however, the family is not particularly fruitful. Children are rare, siblings even more so. As it happened, his parents were fortunate enough to have two, him and his younger sister named Amara. They lived well off, and his Father was considered a wise and learned man, people woukd go to him to mediate disputes and seeking advice.
They were happy for a time.
But then, the Librarium came. As prominent Mages, they were the first to be targeted, at first with threats, then financial pressure, then attempts to kill them. One such attempt killed his Mother and Amara.
His father swore revenge, and he delved deep into forbidden research. Marcus could only watch helplessly as his Father decended into madness. His lust for power and revenge, and his hate for those who killed his wife and daughter consumed him. He beat and mistreated Marcus, forced cruel experiments and cast unwholesome magic on him. Unable to take it anymore, Marcus ran.
He ran and he ran, but he got nowhere.
The Librarium easily tracked him down, and offered him an ultimatum: Join them, or be killed. He chose to join them. At first, they were understandably suspicious, but Marcus seemed to harbor no resentment toward them, and he made the most of his situation. Time and time again, he proved his loyalty by fighting for them, killing their enemies and furthing their goals. He rapidly rose through their ranks, soon becoming a highly respected Library Hunter. Due to its informal nature, there are no official ranks within them, but he is widly regarded as one of, if not the, best so many recruits treat him as they would a superior. His superiors see him as a valuable tool, the man you gave a job that you wanted done quickly and thoroughly with no questions asked. As a result, he is often scorned and feared by allies and the public alike for his unnatural fighting abilities, and unwavering loyalty. As for what he truly believes in, he keeps his opinions close to him, never showing what he is thinking. Entire Backstory
| Magic: |
Whirlwind possesses a massive natural reservoir of Magic, and he can output similarly massive amounts of it, making even simple spells have devastating power. However, due to personal choices, and a lack of any training, his is unable and unwilling to use his full potential. Due to his repressed talants, he has no known specific magic. He mainly utilizes it only with Burst to enhance his physical combat ability.
Burst: A simple controlled explosion of pure magical energy. Whirlwind can use this in multiple ways, by directing the force behind him, he can charge with incredible speed, or direct it behind an attack to enhance its force and speed. It is the only magic he knows and uses, but he utilizes it creatively to great effect.
| Weapons and Equipment: |
An incredibly massive greatsword-like weapon, so heavy that it requires two hands from even the strongest of humans to wield properly, however, Whirlwind handles it easily with one. Built into the blade is a special engine with a gun-like cartridge. The engine can be activated, and when swung, the engine generates tremendous centrifugal force, brutally chopping through whatever is unfortunate enough to be in the blade's way through sheer impact. When engaged with a cartridge, the blade can be charged with magic, in the elements of fire, ice or electricity, further increasing the damage of this terrifying weapon. However, when it was first produced, it was comsidered impractical at best, and a danger to the wielder at worst. The Drive Blade's motor generates tremendous waste heat, and after every such attack, must allow the blade to cool down between swings, otherwise, it could melt the blade, and or blow up the engine. The amount of force produced along with its massive size makes the weapon difficult to control. Production of tje Drive Blade was discontinued, due to the lack of people who were able and or willing to weild this mighty and dangerous weapon, until Whirlwind took a liking to it, and proved that it was useable. As a last resort, the engine can also also absorb and store large amounts of Magic then then release it all for incredible widespread damage, however, this burns out the motor completely, rendering it little more than a large sword until it can be repaired.
DAMN STRAIGHT! He is what I would call a Grey Knight in a Shining Armor with this magic. Finally a swordsman that impresses me.
He wears a suit of Magic Armor. As they go, it is nothing special, save for being of a high quality. It provides moderate protection against Magic, and great protection against Physical attacks.
He also carries a Rapier for use if or when his Drive Blade is not usable.
| Miscs : |
He wears a beautiful ring, a very old family heirloom.
Knows how to pilot an airship.
Never play Poker with him. He is skilled at cheating, and has a poker-face that makes stones blush with envy.
"Owns" a private Airship lent to him by the Librarium for his use. It is lightly armed, and lightly armored, but fast and maneuverable. It can be flown solo, but optimally requires a crew of four.
@Lmpkio Are you using Ezekiel or not? He's been posted in the Characters Tab so I'm not sure what's happening.
Also everyone else, I'll get around to reviewing your characters soon. It's all looking good so far. I think the system we're going with is 2/3 GM Approvals to be accepted.
I decided to work on a character since you so politely decided to invite me (and one of my RPs decided to end, huh.) but I do have a question. Is it kosher if I play around with the CS as long as all of the required fields are still present?
