Gundam Rp The Crew of the Trojan Horse MKII

I would love to start a RP up in the world of Gundam, if interested let me know I am knew to this Forum and would love to start sooner rather then later

The setting will be during the original shows war slightly after Jaburo
the group will be apart of the federations newest mobile base the Trojan horse MKII
the group will need atleast a captain, 2-3 more Mobile Suit Pilots, and An ace who will lead the charge in battle
I am open to more roles if the intrest is there

I was thinking something along the lines of being a crew on something like the white base in the midst of a war, some of us would be pilots others would be crew mates and we would maybe want a captain? I'm new to this and I thought Gundam sounded fun

Now that I have figured out were the RP is headed I would also love to hear suggestions and ideas on either potential roles or ideas

So, it would take place in the events of the original series, during the OYW? Or maybe kind of like 08th MS Team, where the characters aren't extremely overpowered a la Char, Amuro, etc.? I mean, I'd personally go for something like the latter, just due to not having ~space magic~ having to be explained/written.

Either way, I'm super down, I love Gundam.

I was thinking more like 08th ms as we wouldn't be an elite group we would just be a band of space traveling soldiers for the federation, some gundams but no "space magic" and we wouldn't have to fight anyone named brand as then the outcome can be our own

Ah, okay. I'm also assuming that the rest of the canon story would be happening along side the plot, but never really being a part of our story. Unless, say, we end up storming A Baoa Qu or something. This could be really good, and once it gets fleshed out it should drag more people in, too.

That was exactly my thoughts was the story is happening elsewhere, but we just are at a different front in the war, and I said after jaburo as that is when the federation starting having more customized mobile suits for its pilots

Alright, we're on the same page then, awesome. Suit-wise, we're looking at pretty primitive stuff, if we're talking around the Jaburo attack. That's like, what, the end of 0079, right? So GM's are the big thing, with most of the variants. Of course, I could be completely wrong about the timeline, I haven't watched old UC stuff in a year or two.

at the end of Jaburo the federation began the creation of the stuff like the other gundam models , like alex gundam and others so like mhy character potentially , will have a sort of gundam, it doesn't have the same mechanincs but it is more customized so as long as you stay away from weaponry of other season yours could be a prototype aswell of another mobile suit, not from the show

Ohhhhh, okay. That makes more sense. Looks like I get to delve into some lesser known suits for some ideas, then. That's always fun.

I think the most important roles would be 2 pilots a captain and then another character on the base of any sorts, but I would prefer to be a pilot and like you said if we get six people then we would want 3 pilots atleast, but I'm really attached to the idea of having someone giving commands during the rp and having that dynamic

Yeah, I can write up a captain character. I'm still expecting to get some action at some point in the plot if shit hits the fan, but honestly, having a mostly non-combatant character should be interesting for me.
