Abilities: Super Strength/Durability: She can literally bench a tank, or about 50 tons, and is durable enough that she doesn't die when using that strength to violent ends. She hasn't bothered trying to train to see if she can get stronger at all.
Background: Beni is a classic case of a kid overburdened by her parent's ambitions. She grew up excelling at near everything but it was never enough. She took every advanced class she could, took ballroom dancing and piano classes on weekends and was on her high school's academic decathlon, gymnastics, and chess teams. Despite all that it has never really been enough, or at least that is how she has felt and that has caused some level of resentment that thanks to a the mind of teenage girl has manifested itself as an abrasiveness towards almost everyone she encounters that'd give Kurt Russel's surliest of characters run for their money. Since becoming a practical tank of a human capable of actually lifting a tank, in addition to causing her to suddenly shifting her specialty from balance beam to uneven bars on the gymnastics team, that aspect of her personality seems to have been amplified as well.
Background: The daughter of a cop, Theresa grew up on action movies and shooting ranges. Though that is not to say she was destined to take that path herself, she had good grades and combined with a volleyball scholarship she got into UCLA and got her undergraduate degree. But by that point she still hadn't found a passion to keep pursuing so she decided she was going to give policing a try. At the Police Academy she blew the other trainees out of the water in practically everything, though that should be expected of a D1 NCAA athlete who was raised by a cop. But she of course didn't tell anyone else that. Naturally she was top of the class when she received her badge and within a year was training to join the SWAT unit. Theresa's rise within the department was meteoric, and unprecedented, and combined with her service record apparently caught the eye of some people in high places. Most recently her Chief was contacted by a CIA agent with instructions to inform Theresa that they want to evaluate her talents for a position on a team that would be tasked with capturing 'empowered criminals'. She was given paid leave to pursue the opportunity, so may as well right?
Sorry for taking so long to hammer out what I wanted to do with my characters. I didn't want to go with super strength again, but it is so rare that I even have the opportunity I just had to take it. Let me know if there is something I need to fix.

Ziv perked up when he heard is name he took a deep breath and wiped his hand across his face to eliminate some of the sweat. As soon as his hand left his face it revealed a massive grin as he turned to look at Daniel "Oh no, I don't need any help, just uh..." He looked around scanning the guild hall briefly stopping on Sayuri before looking back at Daniel "Yeah, working out you know." He nodded toward Sayuri as though her statement was in some way proof of something.
Ziv theatrically flexed his biceps "You don't get jacked, nay ripped, nay dare I say shredded like this without a little total exhaustion in the morning sometimes." He figured it was a good enough excuse, noone could possibly prove it wasn't true that he spent his free time away from the guild as a gym rat.
As Annalyse approached Ziv briefly reached to the back of his neck. "Appreciate the concern." Ziv began to stretch his neck continuing. "Job went swell." Ziv lifted up his shirt and turned towards her revealing a recently sewn gash a few inches wide across his abdomen. "Even got a fresh souvenir!" He let out a brief chuckle before letting his shirt back down already feeling pretty re-energized.
Ziv was having second thoughts as he ascended the hill outside Magnolia. The massive seven foot double headed axe he was balancing on his shoulder was just impractical. He got it from the job he had just completed, he had hunted down an absolute mountain of a man, a former mercenary guild member who had gone rogue. After capturing the man and collecting his reward Ziv had been foolish enough to ask what would happen to the axe. Since noone else could use it due to it's sheer size it would just sit, so Ziv negotiated to take it as a trophy. Now though he was realizing that was probably a mistake, for one he was walking over the hill into town because the actual transportation that is available to one transporting an over seven foot tall axe is actually somewhat limited. Further he couldn't even figure out the axe's cool tricks that had initially drawn his attention. The whole reason he had even noticed the thing was that both of the axe heads came off the handle attached by a chain, it had a chain, he has a chain. It felt like enough of a connection for Ziv at the time.
Now though the axe was as solid as a log, as Ziv crested the hill he decided to have one more look at it, even being a fairly large man Ziv still had to lean the thing towards himself to examine it in any way. It looked like an axe, a normal metal axe, there was not sign of any of the mechanisms he had seen used when he fought it's previous owner. Frustrated, Ziv sought out a boulder at the roadside and with a shout of anger he swung the axe at the boulder. And perhaps predictably it dug in, the axe was stuck and it was stuck good, Ziv spent minutes pushing and pulling at the axe his initial confidence at the prospect of seven feet of leverage to get it loose was quickly diminished. Eventually he resorted to kicking but it was still to no avail, and worse still Ziv heard a familiar sound, wheels on road, someone was coming up the hill, he had really hoped noone would ever witness his blunder. As the carriage crested the hill it was greeted by the sight of Ziv sitting atop the handle of a massive axe sticking out of a boulder at the roadside. Ziv smiled and waved "Howdy!" he was met with a nod from the driver and he thought he saw some acknowledgement from one of the passengers but he wasn't really paying attention enough to see.
As soon as the carriage was out of sight Ziv began pulling his chain using his magic energy to add links to it until it was about thirty meters he fashioned it into a harness around himself and wrapped the other end around the very end of the axe handle. The plan was simple, run at an angle from the axe. On the bright side it worked the chain went taut for just a moment before the axes came loose from the rock. On the less bright side Ziv had lost his balance and was tumbling towards a faceful or rock, further the axe was now flying towards him from behind. Thankfully Ziv's stumbling meant that his vision caught of glimpse of what was behind him before he fell and he managed to jump out of the way, though it meant landing directly on his left cheek leaving it thoroughly scraped and with a couple fresh cuts. Ziv barely had time to unsuccessfully check for blood though before the the chain was taut again, in a moment Ziv slammed to the ground and slid three feet over.
As Ziv got up and dusted himself off he resolved to just not deal with the axe any more than he had to. Still he had to hold onto it for now so he reeled it in retracting chain links as he did so until it was close. Once it was he began at the task of attaching it to the back of his makeshift chain harness. As soon as it was able to suspend the axe Ziv spoke aloud "Bind". Ziv could feel the chain snake tighten and knot around himself and the axe. Once it was done it was definitely uncomfortably tight, though that was expected. The more important part was the sheer weight, between the chains and the ridiculous weapon if it was less than two hundred fifty pounds it wasn't by much. But it was worth it to be done worrying about adjusting the thing for the rest of the trip.
By the time he reached the guild hall Ziv had been many a bystander's entertainment and was so drenched in sweat if one didn't know any better they might think he'd just come in from the rain. In a stroke of luck noone was outside at the moment so he took his opportunity and rushed to the door. Retracting his chain as he ran to the door he only slowed his pace to gently lean the axe on the wall next to the entrance. As soon as he was content iot was going nowhere he he dashed into the guild hall. Panting Ziv stumbled his way to the bar and leaned against it before speaking. "One whiskey plea-" A drop of sweat fell from his brow onto the bar below. "Better make that water." Ziv slumped down once he finished speaking, resting his head on his arms atop the counter.

Type of magic: - Light Magic - Chain Magic - Eye Magic(He is immune to any change in light and can see in the dark as long as there is any amount of light) Spells with explanations: - Flash: Ziv's most used spell, he creates a blinding flash of light capable of blinding a normal human for about ten seconds if they look directly at it. Though most manage to at least partially divert their gaze.
- Shimmering Strobe: Ziv channels a dazzlingly flashing light to disorient his opponents. While he can control the light completely he usually chooses to channel it through his chain.
- Luminous Presence: Ziv's body is enveloped in bright light, this spell makes looking at him akin to staring at the sun on a bright and sunny day.
- Light Clones: as the name implies with this spell Ziv creates three holographic duplicates of himself. Ziv can control their actions, but they are just holograms essentially.
- Radiant Barrier: Ziv creates a wall of light, he can control which way the light shines and it is impossible for those on that side to see the other. But ultimately it is just light and while it is intense enough to scorch paper or fabric, the absolute worst it could do to a determined person is second degree burns to all exposed skin.
- Zone of Luminescence: One of Ziv's most powerful spells, he amplifies the intensity of all light within thirty yards a hundred fold. It only lasts thirty seconds but during that time the any illuminated places within the area become just zones of blinding light to the naked eye.
- Veil of Light: This spell bends the light around Ziv to give him a form of imperfect invisibility. If standing still he is almost impossible to see, but when moving a keen observer will see the distortion of objects beyond him.
- Gleaming Beam: Ziv's only real offensive spell, he channels a beam of light about nine feet in diameter at his foe, but like all of his spells it still isn't a lethal attack. However whereas his Barrier's worst case is second degree burns, with this it's the best case. Anyone with exposed skin caught within it for half a second or more is getting blisters.
- Light Devastation Cannon: On the surface this looks like a bigger version of Ziv's Gleaming Beam, more than twice the diameter and appearing just as bright. Appearances can be deceiving however and this spell doesn't even leave the affected blinded for any longer than they're caught in it. However Ziv usually uses it as a distraction to cover the distance and hit his opponent.
Equipment: Chain: Ziv carries a chain that he can channel his magic through, he can use this to extend it's length, sever it at will or channel his spells through it. He has been working on learning Chain Magic recently at the advisory of a guildmate, but as yet only knows a handful of spells.
- Seeker Chain: Ziv whips his chain his enemy, and it seeks them out and wraps around them. Provided he gives it enough energy it will always seek out it's target. Once it reaches it's target it slowly wraps around them not particularly tightly, but enough to slow them down.
- Bind: This spell causes the chain to squeeze and knot itself around any targets it comes in contact with.
- Grappling Chain: Ziv's chain manifests a grappling hook on it's end, capable of finding purchase on almost any surface, allowing him to pull himself to whatever it anchors to, or pulling it to him. SInce any surface include flesh this is possibly Ziv's most lethal spell.
- Chain Link: Once the end of the chain makes contact with a target it becomes a shackle that attaches itself to it's target. At the same time Ziv's end does the same, though he can technically use it to connect someone else. Any magical attacks directed at the chain are redirected in equal part to either attached party.
Personality: Ziv is a good guy, almost sickeningly so. He is loud and jovial, always in a festive mood and eager to do any job, regardless of how unsuited he is for it. Still while he jovial, he is by no means the boisterous type, he is rarely one to make a scene. That said Ziv's most obvious notably prevalent character trait is an extreme aversion to death. Regardless of how evil or dangerous someone may be Ziv is not a killer, he has avoided learning almost any offensive spells his enemies and accepted that that will probably preclude him from S-Class a while ago. If someone dies in his presence, friend, foe, or bystander he takes it as a personal failing and it is one of very few things that can bring down his mood.
Beneath the surface Ziv is an adrenaline junky bordering on masochist, many of his numerous scars come from spells, blades, and blows he didn't even try to avoid. He will go so far as to intentionally prolong a fight just to allow his opponent to land a few more attacks. He has actually lost a few fights and had to be rescued by others due to opponents exploiting this to regain their strength, but unless reined in by someone else he'll still do it usually.
History: Both of Ziv's parents were members of his town's local mercenary guild, despite his magic talent being apparent from an early age, Ziv just wanted to be a fighter like his parents. His parents tried to get him to join a mages guild for years, but he was insistent that he didn't need it. Eventually his parents set him up to show the value of the magic he wasn't using, he took a job to take down a rogue mage. Unbeknownst to him the mage was not rogue but in fact a member of Fairy Tail. After getting his ass thoroughly kicked Ziv resolved to find someone to teach him how to use his magical abilities, though he still intended to settle things with his fists.
Eventually his search led him to an old man in a cabin near a forest in some far off corner of the land. The old man was old and frail but he taught him in the ways of light magic in return for some labor he was no longer capable of. Ziv spent his free time in the not so nearby villages looking for trouble to sharpen his skill, thankfully the remoteness meant that though usually quiet there was occasionally criminals fleeing justice that came through the area. With his new magic abilities though keeping things quiet in an already quiet area was doable. Eventually though the inevitable happened, the old man passed away, and after setting his body to rest Ziv set out eager to refine his skills and develop his magic.
So Ziv did the wandering mage thing for awhile, he sought out foes wherever he could though this often meant just hunting down criminals, he also tried to find and challenge as many strong fighters that he came across. Eventually a clear trend emerged which was that his magic mixed with brawling had a weakness to blades so he decided to adopt a chain into his fighting, it allowed him to still use mostly the same fighting style but more importantly allowed him to block blades, and as he thought was important at the time it was something abundant that he would never be far away from.
Eventually Ziv came to hear about Golden Shark a new guild to compete with Fairy Tail, though he was across the continent at the time he knew it was his new goal. After a few months in the guild Ziv had gained something of a reputation for losing/destroying his chain, and having to resort to using his fists. He was learning chains weren't as abundant as he previously thought, but it wasn't until a simple suggestion of "Why don't you just learn chain magic?" from a guildmate in the guild hall that he came up with a solution. Ziv set out back to his parent's mercenary guild. Using the same materials they would usually use to combat magic users, the guild's smith created for him a chain capable of channeling magic energy.
