The wiki's not that great for info. It gets a lotta things wrong (particularly the Late UC stuff), and its organisation is an utter mess.

Personally, I'm partial to just using the actual Troy Horse, which has only appeared around ... twice ... in the materials, and both times it didn't really do much (deploy a Full Armor Gundam in the 0080 manga against Colonel Killing and get nuked by Gato at the Naval Review in 0083), so using it wouldn't change much. Although if you wanna go with a new Pegasus-class, just call it the SCVA-71 or something, given that the Thoroughbred used the SCVA designation.

rx-79 is the original gundam there is no -3 that i can find , but if you found something different, id believe you

Amuro's Gundam is the RX-78-2.

The RX-79 line consists of the Blue Destiny units and the Gundam Ground Types.

so since my MS is a custom model of the original gundam should i change it to RX-78-2(L) or should i say its a 79 custom to make it more reasonable for production of the suit

Is it essentially just an RX-78-2, Core Fighter and all, except without most of the RX-78-2's weaponry or Learning Computer?

Yes, pretty much, slightly less armor, and no shield, for enhanced thrusters, and flexibility at the waist

It sounds like you're aiming more for a variant of the RX-78XX Gundam Pixie if you wanna go any lighter. The original RX-78-2 was already pretty agile, especially after the application of the magnetic coating. Although, the Pixie didn't have a Core Block System.

Ive never heard of the Pixie, but if you think that's where it fits, that sounds good, i was just gonna have a super like squishy but high damage and mobility type mobile suit

That's pretty much its role. The RX-78XX is a 'squishier' and far more agile version of the RX-78, yeah. Of course, given that all the RX-78s are made of Luna Titanium, they're still far more tanky than nearly every other MS in the era.

WE are in space currently, as we just left Jaburo after Zeons attack, and we don't know what we are fighting yet , all I heard was the danger siren, lerting everyone we where in combat

The main thing is that we need a general overarching plot for our particular characters besides just the OYW. Like a constant enemy, like the original MSG had Char's forces, or Zeta had the Titan's forces. A main figure to head the battles against the Troy Horse. I can sketch up a character real quick if I need to, maybe just a name, face, and such.

Hnnng, alright. Zeon time. Considering that we've decided that we're not going to be interacting with the canon characters from the show, we should probably be fighting against some division in the Zeon ranks, like the equivalent of the Titans, or something. Maybe to launch a counter-attack in response to Jaburo, however, along the way the ship is ambushed by remnants of some Zeon forces after the main battle? I'm not sure, I'm just throwing conjecture. I'm gonna be away from my computer for a minute, so I'll follow up more tonight if you guys don't think of anything.
