I'm wondering if there's any interest in here--especially from the moderators. I'm mostly looking for feedback on a project on mine which is more or less a 2D ORPG but with roleplaying mandatory and systems to support that, fairly popular with 80-120 participants during peak hours. It includes the following features:
Character Progression - Characters in the world rank up as they interact with others and participate in events. This allows them to delve into over thirty different spell trees.
Combat - Battle between characters is roleplayed out and maintained by a system of rules.
Aging - As time passes, characters age. Since the start of the project, we've seen the fall of player-driven dynasties and the rise of new empires.
Death - The game is permadeath, though it's handled in a way where a character's death has an impact on the world and must be authorized by DMs in a quality check.
Events - Any player can host a campaign for their friends or a spontaneous mini-event, with established DMs having access to world changing tools.
Ability & Item Customisation - Players can create their own abilities and items following a review process by DMs.
I'd include a link, but I feel like that this is already borderline advertising, aha. I know it's hard to visualise without seeing the RPs and systems in play however. Is this the kind of thing that'd interest you guys? I'd also love to talk to the moderators here about possibly hosting an roleplayerguild exclusive server, with the lore perhaps based around one of the more popular RPs? That'd be awesome, I think!
