At least I'm doing it for a good cause. I'm not doing some massive gaming binge on League of Legends or something, I'm working on my craft, and you never STOP working on your craft for as long as you live. The feeling of inadequacy will never go away, which is why I'm trying to face it head on, again and again.

You need a post at least once a week, I know that much. I'm just getting a head start on it. Pushing the post back is the easy way out of facing the anxiety of doing well. I'm not running from this.

Awww you're such a cool writing buddy. I wish you were in my writing workshop. We've got some greadt folks there. Though someone posted the worst story ever. Like it was middle school level writing with tons of errors. I nearly killed myself reading it, it was 16 pages of bad grammar, spelling and missing words. But when you do find that golden egg, you do like to hold onto it. I swear, we should just run 10 roleplays at once and give them a post once a month. Some crazy shit like that.

Though with GoT there isn't much a smutty moment we're in if I recall. >___> I do have other RPs but this one guy I'm with...he doesn't get invested in our stories and it just made me miss writing with you. Cause we could wax for hours on end about our stories and he's so disconnected. It made me feel bad for him. Like you and I click well on all the levels. Those kinds of partners are pretty rare. You know, when I was still in college, I had a few classmates that loved my peer reviews. However I never got the sense that I perform well doing school assignments. I procrastinated on them far too often and wrote shit like an hour before class. I'm just not one for doing peer-review stuff. If you asked me for an opinion on a piece, I'd give it, but it's just different when you're writing for a grade more than just improving. And I know what you mean when you say golden egg. I have been absolutely baffled by how little of a shit people give, both here and in real life. Then they don't even talk to you OOC. I feel like a whore rather than a partner lmfao. You're gonna use me but not even give me the time of day. Gen, you know damn well if we did ten rp's we'd lose our shit. It might be easier for me since I've edited and seen these people for the past 2.5 years and we know each other's styles and such. Still, it always flatters me when people give me good feedback or even just advice. It's always a breath of fresh air to know someone fucking read my shit and wants to help edit it. I know other workshops are different probably more critical but there's just something magical about reading and writing for a group. It's akin to roleplaying I'd say because you get to meet and collab with other people, in an ideal setting. As you said, some people can be really unsupportive or selfish and that can really bring a writer down. Though for me in my workshop I don't focus on a grade. Honestly I've never had a teacher apply a letter to a short story or flash fiction until this class, it's tough though but a fun thing to overcome. Even outside of school I was in writing groups, I'd encourage you to find one sometime.

Hmm I probably should. I just thought I was skipping us to Arya's sword class? I thought that's where we left off...hmmm. But yeah, most of the one on one interest checks seems to be geared toward weird smut requests and iffy writers. I dunno, seems kinda lazy. Like, I have a smut site for smut...I feel like the Guild shouldn't stress 18+ as much but it is one on ones...Some people really don't think about their writing. I think about mine all the fucking time and sometimes it's a real drag. But some people just don't care or can't care?

You're used to the group, yeah, and I'm glad that it has managed to work for you all this time. All I worried about was a grade rather than a good story. In some areas I tried to be impressive but my heart was never really in it. I can never settle for one thing and I dance around it until it's due within an hour. I'm an awful student ;-; and the only groups I enjoy are group rp's, even if it takes one bad link in a crucial role to bring the whole thing crashing down around us.

Oh, feel free to look back xD That was where she was supposed to go, while Joffrey was going to visit Petyr for some help. I think what you're describing is the difference between casual and advanced writers, the latter of which I think guild might lack when it comes to their 1x1 interests? Smut in rp is good if there's more to it than that. I think that's why I never really searched out a site for it. But there are some slim pickings on guild when it comes to compatible writers, so I might see about that.

A lot of female writers lean towards submissive characters but I find so often that it can just be an excuse not to act on anything. You can't say, 'I'm bad at this' when you never put in the time to be good at it. It's so easy to just sit there and endure whatever comes rather than step out of your comfort zone and try something new. Oh well.

I also see a lot of people seeking male writers, which again grates me to no end. Sure, I'll play a guy but not because someone else can't. I guess the quality is lacking but I've noticed you've taken on casual groups lately yeah? Are those any promising?

It's a shame most women feel the need to play submissive roles. God, it's so ingrained in our society and media and books and movies and everything else. I get playing a submissive but someone who is also so passive they may as well not make a post? That would be pretty infuriating. Even I try not to play an outright submissive because it brings nothing to the table. I'd rather just people play as roles and not worry about labels because then it pre-dictates how someone will respond without considering the personalty and scene. I don't think I could find someone to smut with on here besides you, at least it's not something I'm looking for.

Eeeh, just for one, and only because a Power Rangers roleplay is both a nostalgia kick and a serious appeal for me since we do not need the limits of appealing to children to make it fun. Women seek mostly men because they feel like men can do men better, and vice versa. I myself, as you know, can do either. Hell, I've done smut as a female character, and the results were pretty incredible for my partner. I have another friend that prefers playing girls rather than boys. It's not difficult. People just imagine it to be for some reason.

Passivity is what irks me the most. I may as well be writing the damn scene myself if nothing is going on in your head or even with your body physically. No elevated pulse, blood running hot, lips trembling with anticipation--not a DAMN thing. I can't stand that. And I feel the same way with you because honestly, the other smut I've tried to run so far was either REALLY jumping the gun, or was basically just me trying to make something happen when their character was supposedly the dominant one. Shit's crazy.

I've played males in sexual scenes as well. It's good to find people who don't like limits hold them back in terms of writing. You're right, people can really jump the gun. I still can't get over how I'll say NO insta-romance or insta-smut and yet fuck, one post in and it's like...stop you're being creepy and my character is having none of that and you're ruining the tone. I suppose some people don't have foresight sadly, makes you wonder how they go about real life. >___>
