Yumi Hasewaga

ANBU operative, Team 4

When Tsubasa said that they would need to talk about ablities, what Yumi was capable off, the latter smiled. ''I rather keep them a secret, but will inform you when you desire that.'' She told Tsubasa. Yumi was suspecting that Tsubasa would likely try to get to know what Yumi's other skills were than Crystal Release. The unique Release to the Hasewaga clan wasn't her only asset and Yumi could understand why Tsubasa was given the chance to lead the team. At least she didn't just assume that the unique release would be her only ability.

Rising up, she checked her gear and out of habit stroke the indigo coloured waist sash. ''I assume we gather at the main gates as the second gathering point?'' Yumi asked as she glanced in Tsubasa's direction. To be honest, she wasn't really looking forward to the mission. With her bloodline ability, she was aware that she couldn't use her major battle asset. It meant that it would do little to just tell Tsubasa about her other skills. This mission would require her to rely on her other abilities anyways.

Natsume Yuki

Natsume thought to her self... Wildlife? seriously? just put up a fence or string up some cans in the bushes to make noise. I mean if that doesn't work what ever wild life he's dealing with is probably a danger to him as much as his property. Of course she did not bite at the conversational bait. If it was a mission she would complete it like a Shinobi. she would put the mission first and foremost and worry about other things at other times. That was the way she was taught and that was the way she always way. what ever animal it was that bothered who ever needed there help, would be taken care of. It was clear cut, plain and simple. Though it would have been a cake walk with a full team. Natsume followed closer to her sensei, but still at a safe distance.

Mika Hayashi
Kirigakure Jounin,

Team 14

A foot stamped the hilt of the kunai. By the weight and speed, Mika forced thus Haruhi to plunge the kunai in the neck of the bandit. Her stern gaze was however locked on the few remaining bandits. They were trying to put up of a fight, but Mika was losing her patience. Her students were doing their job as good as possible, so she wouldn't scold them. Not now anyways. ''Lets wrap this up. Rai, take the right side. Chou, the left. You, take the middle.'' With her last words, Mika gave little to no time for Haruhi to recover. The foot of Mika pushed her student backwards, away from the body as the woman gazed at the scene.

The bandits were forming a defensive formation together. Likely trying to defend themselves against any other offensive of Team 14. There were seven bandits left. An easy job for the jounin, but it wasn't really her mission. It was the 'test' to see if her genins had any potential. To at least fight and try to survive.

Haruhi Suzumori
Kirigakure Genin, Team 14: Mission 1

Haruhi's eyes widened as her sensei forced the kunai into the bandits neck with her foot. Blood splatered over her hands on onto her face but before she had a chance to react, her sensei had barked out another order. Haruhi was supposed to take the middle so she quickly rolled off her victim and into a crouch. She watched as the bandits starting moving in some kind of formation together and it made her wary but she stood and took the middle anyway. Her heart was racing and her bloodied hands were shaking, with fear, anxiety, adrenaline, she didnt know, but she started going over justu she knew in her head that could be of use in this situation.

She went over multiple possibilities, trying to think everything through but she was drawing a blank. Then she remembered, she was in a team. She could trust her teammates to come up with a plan she could follow. Reaching into her hip pouch, she grabbed her whip and held in tightly in her left hand, ready in case one of them had the audacity to come at her.

Hyuuga Ezuri

The young Hyuuga kid was quite baffled by the assignment given by the jounin, sure he was a capable kid and skilled in the way of the gentle fist. but with out his teammates taking down an oak of that size seemed like an impossible task. unless the oak wasn't what it looked like... Ezuri hid in the bushes and made sure Kensuke did not see him. secretly conjuring water clones one by one and sending them to around to be able to approach the oak from different angles, even the skilled Nimatsu could not stop them all right?

Tsubasa Kokoro

Tsubasa stepped out of the booth, revealing that she was wearing her plated boots and thigh armor, clicking together as she shifted her weight. She nodded calmly toward Yumi with a smile, before looking toward Katsuko. "I'd recommend getting one asap, unless you are planning on traveling lighter for now on." Tsubasa stretched her arms above her head, before turning back to Yumi. "Come now, Yumi-chan. We both know that there are no secrets between friends. Besides all I need to know is what you can do other than crystal release. Taijutsu, genjutsu, you know... anything that could be helpful."[b]

Tsubasa calmly waved toward Ryo and Katsuko, but snapped her fingers halfway through. [b]"Ah! I almost forgot. I have something for you."
She said turning around to face Yumi. "Same goes for you Katsuko, but I'll give it to you when we get to the front gate. You recall what you asked for a while ago? Well I made some modifications and figured you would want the lighter version. Come on I'll show you." Tsubasa said with a small grin, before turning around and walking out the door.

Tetsu ryu
Storm Guardian mission

Tetsu and the other jonin were met by one of the commanding officers of the Black Guard. It was explained to them that they had reason to believe a small band of rouge ninja were going to attempt to cross the border from frost to lighting. The Frost country had already denied and affiliation with their actions and had cleaned their hands of them completely. They were being tracked heavily in the Frost country so it’s reasonable that they try to flee to the Lightning country. It the black guards responsibility to take care of these kinds of things.
Naturally Tetsu asked what intelligence the black guard had on these rouge shinobi but unfortunately there wasn’t much to give. They believed it to be a unit of 6 shinobi wanted in association with crimes against the government. Beyond that there wasn’t anything. They assumed they used ice based ninjutsu but that was pure speculation so Tetsu took it with a grain of salt. He accepted the mission and weeved his hands together and put his hand on the ground summoning his white wolf Kaizer. The other jonin followed them to their station to keep watch on what the BG had deemed a critical location. Kaizers heightened senses would come in handy. And he would also Keep them warm.

Ryo Katsu,
Konohagakure Chuunin | Team 4

Ryo shot a glare in Tsubasa's direction. He was paying for the tea, that Tsubasa had ordered and drank. He wasn't happy at all that she had instructed him to do that. Putting his purse away, he scoffed. Though his opinion regarding his new team leader stayed the same, his mood had dropped to a grumbling one. ''I swear that if I have to ... oi... oi.'' He mumbled to himself as he moved to follow with the rest. He eyed a glance to Yumi when Tsubasa mentioned that there were no secrets between friends.

He for one was curious. Yumi was recognized in Konohagakure for her Crystal Release. Thinking about it, there were only tales and rumours regarding the unique ability of the Hasewaga clan. But nothing else regarding Yumi's skill. Though he was curious, he remained silent as he wanted to focus on what he would need to do. Kensuke would have liked it that way. And for a moment, Ryo missed his good friend and kind of mentor, before focusing on what would be said further more.

Kato Daiki – “Literally a Post About Waiting”

It was a very slight breeze but when it blew it made the wait much more bearable. If Kato wasn’t in the middle of a prepared ambush he probably would have found himself asleep within seconds. The bush that the young genin was hiding in made it moderately difficult to see his surroundings other than the path that he intended to trigger the trap on which honestly was the most important point for him to be able to see clearly.

Without being able to easily see Nadra or Tahekikio the wait seemed a little bit longer to trigger an attack. Why hasn’t Satoshi attacked yet? Was his sensei testing them? Was he trying to make the scenario feel more real? Either way this was starting to get more annoying than effective. To be fair, the other genin have probably never had experience on the battle field like Kato has and perhaps they needed more training but that still didn’t make sitting through this any less annoying for him.

Satoshi was due any minute now, Kato could feel it. Nadra was in position with all of her clones at point, Tahekiko was also in position, ready to jump Satoshi when the plan called for it. Out in the short distance Kato’s clone hid as best as it could, having a decently clear view at the path while making the small sacrifice for vision with the benefit of camouflage. Everyone was prepared and knew exactly what they had to do. Kato knew from past experience that focus at this point was the most important thing, the only thing coming close in second place being flexibility.

Satoshi Jun,
Kumoagakure Specialized Jounin | Team 3

Patience is a virtue?

Satoshi kept waiting. The shadow clone didn't move from his spot. It was just standing there and looking around. The real Satoshi had moved, via underground, to another position and would wait. The lesson was simply to make some points clear to his students. While he had ordered them to set up an ambush, he wondered if they would figure out if he wouldn't have been playing with words. After all, coming up with a grand and amazing plan was one thing.

To execute and make it work was the other half. The more essential part.

For that reason, he would wait. His shadow clone even sat down and began to loudly hum while looking around. So far none of his students seemed to likely have thinking of ambushing him on the spot. After all, there were several ways to plan and make an ambush work. Luring a victim into one. Slowly creeping up a foe and attacking him, surprising and thus ambushing him or her. It did made him wonder if it would annoy his students. Most likely it would. Satoshi could foresee that Kato would likely call it dull. But hopefully he would learn something from it. More than a simple sparring match or such, the young man thought with a light chuckle.

Genins these days....

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9

Hiron frowned. The tactic of his genins had some major success. Through communication and reacting to each other, Mia managed to attack and sent the massive turtle shell spinning around, making it moving away from the water. Though it wouldn't likely damage the turtle, it would make him at least dizzy, Hiron thought amused.

As the shell stopped with spinning, a loud grumbling was heard out of the shell. Slowly, the head of the animal came out and it was clear it tried to focus. ''You pesky younglings!'' He called them, trying to stand up, but was too dizzy with the spinning. Seeing that the turtle could still move and that his students had managed to perform what he wanted to see : teamwork, Hiron decided to end the mission. With a few quick jumps, he managed to get out of the tree and landing on the ground.

''This is enough team.'' Hiron told them as he opened his right hand. Lightning crackled through the air as he sent forth a big hound, of lightning towards the turtle. Though hearing and seeing the fast attack coming, the turtle couldn't get away. Being hit by the lightning technique, it tried to resist the shocking technique before it succumbed and was knocked out cold. ''Well done everybody.'' Hiron said through the earphone communicator. The first mission and a rather success? Hiron wasn't sure if he could be glad with the current formation yet, but it was a promising one. ''We're heading back. I think we have bothered him enough. Maybe he will be more in shape for the next formation of Team 9.'' Hiron told them as he turned around. He wondered if they would figure out that this was a test. Though Mia was aware of it, as she had been around the last time Team 9 had fought against the turtle, he wondered what the genin would think about it.

Shiro Nagakura

The novice ninja stood there silently in the dispersing mist. The precipitation was very dense at this point, making it sort of hard to keep a stable breathing pattern. Shiro held his blades already in the grasp of his hands. His fist clenched together as chakra embodies the very knuckle blades. He started to listen to his environment, but couldn't hear anything other than the neutral breeze.

That silence was interupted by Kuni's voice. Shiro thought she was an overall annoyance, well.........everyone annoyed Shiro, but hey. Anyhow, at this point, there was no point in making any abrupt comments. Shiro listened to what she had to say, nodding in agreement, but he had his own plan. "I'm heading that way" he instructed, pointing in the direction he planned to move. "We have to find our Sensei, so I think we can cover more ground if we separate" he whispered to her, making sure whatever enemy surrounded them couldn't hear.

"You should go in the opposite way. If you find anything, call out. We should be able to hear each other's voices through the forest echoes. Since its so silent, we'll hear anything at any time."

Shiro then jumped off the tree and fell to the dirt beneath him. He looked around, scanning the area before he started his own way. As he started in a light jog, he turned to Kuni to make sure she was also heading her own way. Separating may be dangerous, but at this point, what wasn't? In addition, they'd cover more ground, possibly finding their Sensei much faster than they would if they stuck together.

Takeshi Shun
Kiri Jounin - Team 2

Taking Natsume's silence as its own kind of answer, Takeshi simply nodded and headed out. As they exited the forest, he slowed his pace down to a casual walk. The farm wasn't far from the forest's edge and Takeshi was not in a huge rush to get there. As he walked up to the farm he took notice of his surroundings.

There was nothing spectacular about the farm itself. It was of average size and clearly very old. There was a fairly sturdy fence around the perimeter of the farm, and it showed no signs of being damaged. Aside from the main farmhouse, Takeshi could see the animal holding pens. There were several of them arranged around the farm. A few of the pens showed signs of external damage and Takeshi made a mental note to check them out later.

Approaching the door to the farm, Takeshi glanced back to ensure that Natsume was following him. Giving her a brief reassuring smile, he turned back to the door and knocked. After a brief pause a disheveled old man opened the door a crack. "Who is it? What do you want?" Takeshi gave the man a warm smile. "My name is Takeshi Shun, and this is my student." He gestured towards Natsume. He was careful not to offer up her name, as he felt she would prefer to keep that to herself. If she offered it up herself then that was fine, but Takeshi wasn't about to breach whatever small amount of trust he may have had with her. "We have been sent to help with your animal problem." The old man looked at the pair with suspicious eyes. "Only two of you!? I asked them to send me a full team of capable shinobi, not a single jounin and his sidekick." The man's disrespectful tone was getting on Takeshi's nerves and he fought to keep his patience. "We were sent to take care of a small pest problem, which hardly seems like the kind of thing that would require more than two capable shinobi to take care of. Also, next time you refer to my student with anything but respect we will turn around and leave you to deal with this yourself. Do we have an understanding?"

The old man seemed quite taken aback and quickly dropped his prior attitude. "Y...yes sir. I am sure the two of you will be more than enough. I meant no disrespect." Takeshi smiled briefly, a smile that never touched his eyes. "Good. Now perhaps we could go inside and discuss the details of these animal attacks?" The old man simply nodded his head vigorously and opened the door all the way, gesturing for the two of them to come in. As he walked back into his house, Takeshi stepped into the doorway. Pausing, he spoke to Natsume without turning, his previous friendly tone replaced with a tone of barely repressed anger. "I am sorry for that. I will not have any of my student's referred to in such a manner." Composing himself he stepped through the doorway, hoping that Natsume would not be far behind.

Yumi Hasewaga
ANBU Operative, Team 4

Yumi glanced at Tsubasa. It seemed that Yumi was considering if it was wise to tell what her other skills were, in combat. ''I am skilled in assassination, using stealth. My taijutsu is also good, I think.'' It felt a bit odd to praise her own skills, but she wasn't sure how to word them differently. She had managed to fight on par with some other people that had good taijutsu skills. Trying to think about what she could reveal more, Yumi shrugged lightly with her shoulders.

''I am not versed in using or creating genjutsu. Know how to cancel them out, but that is about it.'' She told Tsubasa further more. Hopefully that would be enough for now, as Yumi felt a bit unsure if she had done something good. Though she had a name with her Crystal Release, she rather wanted to keep her other skills a bit in the shadows. After all, people would think she would only rely on her Crystal Release or try to focus on neutralizing that skill of her. Forgetting that she was an ANBU for a reason.

Kensuke Nimatsu
Team 7

He noticed the different water clones circle up on the tree, after the Hyuga boy had gone into hiding. The clones did their best to hide, but at least some of them betrayed their presence by soft movements in the bushes surrounding the field. As soon as he noticed them all charge the tree, he stood upright and unleashed a quick draw while circling around. The chakra he had coated his blade with was used in the falcon blade jutsu, this time sending a large slicing wave of flames around him that destroyed most of the clones. As he heard the water splash as they dispersed, he mentally applauded the genin, water clone technique was a hard technique to master decently. Those clones that remained had been mostly out of range of his attack, but now came for him aswell. Readying his blade he prepared to take them down in close combat, as their hampered numbers formed no problem at all for him.

Well, at least the genin was smart enough to test how he'd fight before charging in himself, or he'd be an incinerated and mutilated corpse right now. Okay, not entirely, but, pretty wounded at least.

Hyuuga Ezuri

As soon as the clones were in place about one third of them charged at the tree simultaneously and half of them changed directions to attack Kensuke. Not a smart move. Ezuri, still in hiding moved behind Nimatsu and saw him gathering chakra before he used a battojutsu technique mixed with ninjutsu and released a wave a fire, dispersing most of his clones. Ezuri scouted the field for his remaining clones, there were two hammering away at the tree and four more charging at Nimatsu. Ezuri decided to wait a little longer before he showed himself. He needed more intel if he were to face Kensuke in combat. He looked at the two clones hammering away at the tree as he realized that cutting down the tree was not the real goal of this test.

Once the last clone was destroyed, including the two clones who had jumped over him while the others had occupied him, each hit by a quickly thrown shuriken, he quickly glanced around. He retreated a bit closer to the tree to keep a better look at the situation while being better able to protect the tree. He had slightly underestimated the genin. He hadn't expected such a coordinated attack of water clones, a great achievement, but the lack of power in the genin's attacks proved to deny him from cutting down the majestic tree in an instant, as he had feared at first.

Shinri Rai

Kirigakure Genin, Team 14

Rai managed to take down one more bandit and watched Mika-Sensei get another one before the next order was issued. As much as he wanted to continue slaughtering them one by one, something compelled him to follow the orders given to him. So he leaped away from the now dead bandit and landed in formation, next to Haruhi. He saw the girls hands shaking, but bloodied. But now was not the time to talk about it, they still had seven of them to take down, and now with the moment of surprise gone, they had to fight face to face with them. Their superior numbers, together with their superior physical condition placed them into a slight disadvantage. Ignoring the odds, Rai saw the whip in the hands of his teammate and a plan formulated in his head.

"Haruhi! Chou! Get ready!" As he said the words, he started to charge the bandits head on, in an zig-zag like pattern. His plan was not to attack them head on, as that would certainly spell his gruesome death at their hands. His plan was to simply draw away their attention so that his teammates can attack an enemy that is looking elsewhere. Once attacked and distracted from him, Rai can return into the fray and start the carnage once again. But for that to happen, he needed his teammates. Will the plan succeed?

Masami Hyuuga

Konohagakure Genin, Team 9

Masami was still in a fighting stance, watching the confused, shocked and dizzied turtle struggle against the combined efforts of Team 9. It looked promising for them, as it visibly struggled with the aftereffects of their attacks as it continued to yell threats at them. Having a solid defense between herself and the turtle, Masami was ready to formulate another plan on a whim if needed. But what she was not prepared for was Hiron-Sensei landing in front of the team, with his right hand stretched out and telling that it was enough. A bit confused, she watched as their teacher formed a lightning hound that definitely knocked out the turtle. What the combined efforts of the three of them could not accomplish, he did with one technique.

Dropping her fighting stance and deactivating her Byakugan, After their Sensei praised them, they immediately started to head back to Konoha. Still a bit surprised, Masami followed their teacher and the team,, thinking about what just happened." I think we held our ground pretty well, Hiron-Sensei. Though, there is still much to improve. Especially in our ... teamwork?" She stopped her sentence as she reached that one word. It was all about teamwork today. Alone, neither of them could hope to slow down the turtle, let alone stop it. But as a working team, they managed to achieve what they achieved. With a smile on her lips, she though she understood the idea. Thus, she waited if any of her teammates will react.

Ryoku Samidare

Amekage, Team 22 Sensei

Slightly opening the door, he saw the dossier still on the ground, and the ANBU agents nowhere to be found. With a deep sigh, he reached for the it and closed the door after picking it up. This was a heavy blow for the plans he had for the village - he needed the elite operatives for tasks that they could accomplish better than regular Jounin could with their teams. But with them nowhere to be found, he had to make other plans. But that had to wait, as he had to meet his own team of Genin that were, by now, certainly soaked in rain at the training field that he mentioned in his message to them. Looking at his clock, he was already late. Placing the file on his desk, he took a good look on the village that was still coated in the rain. Smiling and forming the Ram Seal, he used the Body Flicker technique to make his way to the training field.

Arriving there a minute later, he purposely landed on a building overlooking it. They were all there, waiting for him. He decided to test their patience a bit more - after all, a Shinobi had to be patient. He knew that it will be a great test mainly for Sho, but he had to endure this one. Together with the rest of the team. Patience was important because great things did not happen in the blink of an eye - it takes a great deal of patience to wait for them. With that in mind, Ryoku sat there for several minutes. After that, he decided he made them wait enough already, and the fact that they were still there showed some promise. Leaping from the building, he landed near his assembled team. Getting up from his knee, he looked at each one of them with great interest.

"Thank you for waiting, even in this weather we currently have. Though, I would say that this rain is different from the others. Let me introduce myself - I am Ryoku Samidare, The Third and current Amekage and from this day, your Sensei. I would like to begin our meeting with a question - what do you think about this rain?"
