Good morrow everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the RP as I am considering joining. I don't feel I am up to creating a full-fledged nation, however Apollo's 'nation' of pirates interests me greatly. I was wondering if I could create a small crew of 'trader' privateers with no faction affiliation. My role would be similar to that of Xur from Destiny, jet setting from moon to moon in an endless search of exotic goods, treasures, and alien women. An exciting life of acquiring trade permits and out gunning/thinking hostile agents will follow the relatively small crew. They may also take a contract out from one of the nations from time to time, as a crew has to make a living somehow. Either way, please let me know what you think and I will get to work on a NS/CS for my crew. I am also prepared to answer questions regarding the concept.
Hi,

So I've been away from the site for a while and I'd like to get back into rping in general. When I left off I was considered an advanced player, but I think I could go for something easy. If we are going for a romantic plot you will need to have been on this planet for 18 rotations. My interests vary (most of which are from video games) and as long as it is well thought out, I can get into it. I'll say that I can't do female characters because mine are generally garbage. I also can't do MxM very well. If you have other questions then... well ask.

Aria's eyes seemed to dilate as he started to inspect the glowing rune on the woman's arm. His expression was that of confusion mingled with wonder. His nose began to bleed as he gently grabbed the wrist. His cross buzz had suddenly disappeared, his arm and insides began to feel as though they were burning. For a split second, before Aria's eyes rushed a thousand images all of which going too fast to for him to recognize. The only things Aria could pick up from the rushing images were bright neon flames, copious amounts of blood, and the gleam of steel. He soon was struck by the sudden realization that he couldn't breath. He let his supposed soulmate go and grabbing for his drink with a shaking hand, which quickly up ended to drink until the beverage was either inside of him or split over himself. The drink didn't do anything for him, as he could still feel himself burning up. He couldn't tell if he was shivering or shaking, but his eyes remained still and focused on the previous location of the rune, as if it was still there. Aria coughed, and coughed again and again, until he was in the middle of a fit. The strong smell of sulfur and iron filled his noses as he fell backward from the bar.

Aria landed in a sitting position under the rum, clutching his chest in great pain. Quickly opening the first three buttons of his shirt, he placed his hand over his heart in a feeble attempt to make the burning stop. As he looked down he was able to catch the three last maroon pulses of light emanating from his chest. With two final loud coughs, the final one escaped his lips along a puff of maroon and purple embers. With that, the pain that was so crippling disappeared, as it had been switched off. He sat there dazed for a second before looking up at his patron. With his breathing still haggard, Aria sighed. "I'm not exactly sure what I am miss. If you asked a Cambridge scholar, he would define me as Kin, though kin to what I do not know. My mother died giving birth to me about a hundred years ago. My father was human. That was the first time I saw my name in my mother's tongue, and I have to say it hurt like hell." He chuckled grabbing a random bottle from above him and taking a sip.

Aria let out a sigh as the students settled up. He calmly shot an look at the one with the broken nose as he handed Aria his card. As he brought the piece of plastic back, he grabbed the young man by the collar and brought his ear to his lips. "Next time you talk to a woman like that, I'll make sure you leave here with more than just a broken nose. I'm running a business here and I don't need you scaring it off by thinking with your cock." Aria let the child go and grabbed himself a glass. Like the tipsy ducklings, they students followed each other out of Aria's bar, which left the place feeling rather desolate. Most of his employees got off at this time and began to clean and pack up. Aria took his now beer filled glass over to his possible new employer. Aria set his glass down on his side of the bar and smiled happily toward her. "I'm sorry. The young ones always try to make it with confidence alone. Wit doesn't appear to them as attractive until after they graduate. Anywho, I guess it's about time we got to business. So what do you need me to do. Please say hunting demons, because I could truly use a change in scenery for a week or so. You wouldn't believe how much of a rut you can get into running a bar. The same 5 people always buy the same 5 drinks. Your's was the first bloody mary I've served this era."

Aria soon noticed that the woman had been looking at her wrist before Aria interrupted her inner monologue. Under his present condition, he couldn't read the markings. His voice got low. "Or... am I tracking down your lover? I'll do my best to help, but I'm not sure I can do anything without a lead." He said before taking a large sip from his drink. She facial expression was that of great concern. He eyed her curiously waiting for her to respond.
Just so I have my timeline straight, aren't all the light-saber forms readily available to the Jedi order during this time, excepting possibly Juyo which was developed during this era (probably later on though).

I also need to sure up and change my backstory, as well as add a rank. I'm thinking Specialist or Corporal, but I'm not sure.

@HeySeuss I was wondering if you had a preference for a "medic" or a tech specialist. If I go tech specialist, I can reasonably tie in some skill as a pilot, as well as kind of fit into the three sentences I call a backstory.

Edit:
@Ciphra It looks like we are in need of IRSOG troopers. In other words....
I could switch out my bacta tank for a portable CPU. Seeing as I am from Coruscant, I feel like that would be easier to pick up. Being a tech expert would also give me an excuse to be a pilot. Also may give me a lightsaber early if I end up being trained in the force.
So.... I could be a pilot, but I don't want to have too many skills. I feel like I'm pushing it with vibroblades, but I figures that goes into being Echani.

Aria chuckled as he began to fix a second glass. "It seems that my reputation precedes me. I assume you are here to request my assistance for a job. I'd love to talk particulars right now, but the bar is about to get very busy. Give it an hour and I'll be able to talk with you at length." Aria pushed a bit of his hair out of his face and set it behind one ear, unintentional giving her a good look at his mark, which was almost glowing red. He continued along, still not noticing the mark, as the cannabis and alcohol had numbed him to the feeling. As he finished preparing the drink, like clockwork, several college aged individuals busted through the front door, making japes and talking loudly as they settled themselves around the bar. They all yelled out toward Aria as they shot strange looks toward his newest customer. Humans were always so quick to judge, but at least their money was good. With a loud sigh, Aria leaned off of the bar. "Those are on me. We'll talk business soon after they're drunk." He said as he walked toward bar center and began collecting orders.

He hoped that she would stick around. He was getting rather bored of the day in and day out that was his life. Perhaps this job would be something exciting, like hunting down demons or something. It wasn't everyday an attractive and interesting woman would walk into his bar. She seemed anxious, which meant that her business was something personal and pressing. Worst case scenario someone would walk in and try to shoot up the place. Aria had an answer for that under his bar.... actually now that he thought about it, he had multiple answers for that. Aria spent the following hour, rushing around his bar to satiate the thirst of his many patrons. Thinking of what he would learn afterwards about the skull faced woman.

Aria sighed when the young woman asked for the Naga vodka. "I only have Absolute Peppar and Spud Red Chili Pepper. I'll fix it up for you. I assume you want it straight?" He said as he picked up the glass and a lime wedge. Running the lime wedge along the rim of the glass, Aria pulled a salt shaker from below the bar and began to salt the brim of the glass. Once that was finished, Aria grabbed the two vodka's and set them on the bar and grabbed the tomato juice. As he poured, he spoke calmly. "As for what, I clean this place with, I generally use lemon Lysol and bleach for more larger messes. I'm sorry you aren't reacting well to it." Aria reached under the bar and picked out Tabasco sauce and with a smile he dabbed two drops into the glass. As he continued to prepare the drink, Aria studied the young woman. "I'll make sure to wipe it down more thoroughly next time. I'm terribly sorry." She smelt nothing like the moon, which indicated that she was no werewolf. Her eyes, however, were mingled with something that could only be defined as beast-hood. He was starting to regret chugging that drink, as he was a lightweight. He could feel the flush roll up his cheeks as his extra senses faded. He was left to simple deduction to find out what this woman was.

"Might I ask how long it took you to cake on all of that face paint? I've seen women with literal masks of make-up, but I'm afraid you take the cake. I must say it's very striking." He said as he took a liberty on her drink. Taking both bottles of vodka in hand, he poured them both into the glass with practiced dexterity. After setting both bottles down in their respective places, Aria scratched his mark and leaded forward onto the bar. The thought of beasts always brought his mind back to the saddening thoughts of hunts. Looking at the custom coasters on the bar which blatantly said "Ye Ole Huntsman" disturbed his attempt at a pleasant Friday. He quickly grabbed a napkin and covered the coaster before placing the glass on both objects. "Is there anything else you need, madam?" Aria said the a bit of a dip in his mood. He attempted a half smile at least for the benefit of the woman.
I'm applying for the force sensitive IRSOG soldier position. I'll have is perception of the Jedi be colored in a rather neutral light, but he hears more negative news from reports and via here-say.
