Kieran and Maine

@kidd

Maine and Cori
Maine fell on all fours, projectile vomiting everywhere in front of him. Maine was very unprepared for his sudden departure from the realm of man, and was already cery hungover and...well....did not have time to get every drug out of his sytem either. The sudden departure left him dazed, confused, and everything that was in his stomach was suddenly in front of him on the ground. Maine wiped his mouth and stood up, shakily, worried something he took just kicked in. He looked around and had to admit it was a beautiful trip, surrounded by a lush green forest. Maine tried to remember what just happened. He had just gotten off the phone with his mother, who ahd been bitching about stupid crap, and he had planned to screw around the rest of the afternoon. He was walking to one of his favorite breakfast places when.....a strange glow and strange lights appeared around him. Maine had chalked it up to him just being crazy and dint pay any mind. He was still feeling the effects of the party from the previous night. So when he actually was teleported to...wherever this was Maine was beyond shocked.

The Faires spoke, and Maine listened intently. He realized he was not tripping and this was extremely real, and Maine had no idea what kind of agenda these people had. He didnt like it. He did not like not knowing, he was used to being the smartest person in the room. But he felt like he had no choice but to follow, or at least if he did followed he would be taken care of. He refused to have to use the bathroom outside, like some kind of poor person or lower class person. He deserved, he felt, to only use the restroom on only the highest quality made toilet.

Maine followed the Fairies and found his supposed Cabin. He felt like he was going to be played, that something odd was going to happen, but Maine really needed some kind of beverage and to lay down. He did not feel that great. Maine walked up to a cabin, fiddled with the handle to see if it was unlocked, and when he found it was he went inside.

Maine could not help but leave his jaw hanging open. Inside the cabin, it was amazing with shining brilliant crystal walls and floors, with dazzling tapestry and furniture. Maine took a tentative step inside, and found himself almost in tears. The floors were insulated. This was perfect. His room wa ssomehow perfect. Maine took a step back outside and closed the door, feeling better and refreshed just from seeing something so Goddamn beautiful. He could enjoy this cabin later, for as long as he wanted.

Maine walked back over to the still ever present group of people. He looked the entire group over and instantly clicked his tongue. There was.....poor people present. And the clothes of some of these people, did they have no shame? nameless, brandless clothing? Did they just....not care they looked trash? Maine shoved these thoughts aside though, realizing he was going to probably need some of this trash to advance here. So really anyone was fine to talk to first. But who> Maine scanned the group and the closest person to him was a young female, very impeccably dressed. Maine smiled. Finally someone with some kind of sense.

Maine walked over to the finely dressed young women and stood beside her. "So when I woke up this morning I had not theorized I would taken away to NeverLand. What about you?"

Cori's gaze found Maine's, her mouth straight and eyebrow furrowed at him. "You're the guy who threw up," she said flatly.

Maine, still confident as ever, simply shrugged. "What can I say the ride to NeverLand was bumpy and did not agree with me. Slightly undignified, but I believe I can make up for it. My name is Maine Aarvack, how do you do?"

Now her demeanor changed. Her crossed arms dropped to her side, Cori stood a little straighter. She recognized the name, though she had never met an Aarvack. "Cori Woods," she offered, her tone polite as she offered a hand for him to shake. She was still dazed by what he freely joked about being Neverland, and she welcomed the normalcy of a simple introduction. "Do you have any idea what's going on?" she asked.

Maine blinked, recognizing her. Cori Woods, daughter of a very famous buisness man and a very gorgeous super model, also highly known for her unusal looks. Maine shook her hand. "Good to see someone of appropriate status here, I was at first afraid the common rabble would become and infestation in this group. I have no idea, at first I thought that this was just a bad trip, but I have no doubt in my mind this is somehow real. But...think about." Maine crossed his arms and twitched his nose, a habit he has when he gets into buisness mode. "Think about the possibilites if we learn about this place as much as possible, and bring something back as proof. I have no doubt we would be able to name any price we wanted, be it money or something else. And the fame alone would put us above the stars."

Her polite smile tightened. Common rabble, she thought, gaze flickering to Nicolas Jensen. Though the word didn't sit well with her for other reasons, but she found it inappropriate to argue with him about it. Besides, he moved on to an interesting topic soon enough. Her gaze narrowed, maybe appearing suspicious but she was considering it thoughtfully. However, Cori found herself hesitant, complaints of her father suddenly ringing in her ears and she couldn't help the frown. She should be more like Maine. Then maybe she wouldn't have been assigned a husband. It was a long shot, but Cori was never one to miss out on a potential opportunity; if Maine was onto something, she could use that to get her parents off her back.

"That's...true," she agreed. She looked back to him, making a snap decision. He'd just have to think he was leading this, and she knew his type. That'd be easy enough. "What do you suggest we do? How do we even leave?"

Maine wave his hand around, gesturing to their surroundings. "Well thats the thing I do not know. I dont like not knowing. But granted we have not been here that long. So what I am thinking is we do not look for a way out, dont want to give these.....fairies...the wrong idea. We learn the layout of the land, with maps and such, find any type of treasure, and find out how to go and leave last of all. Learning the location of this place is a mint in itself."

Maine rubbed his chin. He did not want to be here for any longer than he had to, he had other things he could be doing, but with someone else here of equal status almost with Maine obviously leading, he realized he needed to make the best of a bad situation. Cori, from what he remembered, was the slight rebel and realized he would have no issues with her. He may not be able to avoid pissing her off, but he would be able to use her. Even if she tried to use him, he could use that to his advantage. He is Maine fucking Aarvack, and would bring shame to his name if he did anything less.

"So lets just see what these Pixies want and go from there. Anyways what were you doing before you got Spirited Away?"

"I was in class," Cori complained, suddenly pouting. She didn't do the assignment and now she wasn't even there. Attendence wasn't counted, but it still bothered her. Though her concerns broadened now that she thought about it: how would she even explain this? She disappeared right before her classmates' eyes. "Ugh," she said before continuing to Maine, "What about you?"

"Well...I was on my way to get some breakfast, just coming back from a party," Maine said thinking back to the conversation he had with his mother, "Plus I am dealing with some stuff. My mother wants me to get married to some stranger, because she doesnt approve of the way I spend my evenings."

Cori blinked, tensing. That was..an odd coincidence. "Oh...? My parents have arranged a marriage for me, too," she admitted carefully. Arranged marriages weren't exactly common, and Maine was from a prominant family. It wasn't him, was it? Already she could tell he was man her father would approve of, business sense and all. The thought had her eyeing him up and down, unsmiling, concerned for him should her boyfriend find out.

Maine, suprised to hear Cori was in a similiar situation, prevented himself from acting suprised and reevaluting her physical appearance. He was not sure if she was someone who his mother would choose, considering her "condition", but it was possible. Maine did not care though, it was not like he was going to go through with it. He was smart and he thougbt he could figure a way around it.

"It is, but it doesnt matter. No way in hell am I going through with it. I am smart, I can figure out a way out of it. Especially with this new discovery," Maine said gesturing again to his surroundings

Cori refrained from sighing in relief. Good. So even if it was him, he shared her sentiments. "Your mother would have to let you make your own decisions if you built your own fortune on all this," she agreed, following his gesture. "Good luck, Maine." She nodded, unsure what else to say; she struggled with words where they counted. Besides, she was curious to see the inside of her cabin.

Maine nodded, and whipped out his phone. He offered it to Cori. "Put your number in, we should be able to communicate while we are here."

She hesitated in taking his offer, but ultimately tapped her number into his phone because no matter where they stood once they got back to the real world, connections were connections. "I hope our phones work here," she commented as she handed it back to him, her contact information saved.

Maine pocketed his phone, then texted the number, seeing that the text went through. He smiled. "Seems like it." Maine nodded at Cori, then took a step to the side allowing her to leave or move or do whatever, signifying he was done with the conversation.

Kieran and Tabi

@caits

Kieran eyed the cabins, seeing one for him but shaking his head. This wasnt his home and he wasnt going to get settled in. He eyed the inside of Tabi's cabin and frowned. If these things looked like what you wanted them too deep down, then no way he was going to stay inside his because he knew what it would look like already and had no desire to be there. Kieran put a hand on Tabis head and ruffled her hair. "Cmon kiddo, of course this is real. This is a magical land of fairies and who knows what else where it seems our wildest fantasys come true. Your saying this isnt your average morning? You dont normally come here? Lame. I have never written something this.....fairy like but I sure as hell am going to later."

Kieran motioned for Tabi to follow him and walked inside the cabin, looking it over. It was......creative to say the least and original. "Your crazy Tabi, but its cool. I guess we are all crazy now huh? Neat cabin. Not gonna lie I like yours alot. might have to sneak in tonight." Kieran winked at Tabi then walked both himself and Tabi out, back towards the others in the group.

Kieran looked over everyone in the group and decided to stay close to Tabi. He didnt exactly trust everyone here, but since he has known Tabi for all ten minutes longer than the rest and since she seemed the most innocent of them all he felt like he was better off staying close to someone he knew. Kieran turned around to say something to Tabi when he bumped into someone with his elbow. Kieran, holding Tabi's hand now, turned around and looked at the stranger apologetically with gleaming eyes and a smart smile. "Sorry my bad. Clumsy of me."

Tabitha was a little perplexed at the "kiddo" and she pondered that for a moment, shaking her head slightly, and shrugging lightly, "My fantasy land is a little bit different to this. More...dragons then fairies" she said, a little amused, and smiled at him saying he'd write something later on this "Well, at least, out of this, you have some ideas for a book" She pointed out, following him inside the cabin that she guessed was hers. She smiled, blushing a little bit as she looked around the place again. "Not crazy. Eccentric" She said confidently, as she glanced about it again. She could see inside the small house that there was a bed, which seemed to take up the whole mini-house. She giggled lightly, looking back to him.

"um. Do you think the fairies would allow that? They seem pretty weird...." she said thoughtfully, following him back out, swaying slighhtly when he bumped into someone, she glanced about, towards the person, but still a little uneasy, Tabitha didn't speak up, instead prefering, for the moment, to see what they were like.

Mika must have fallen asleep, because the next thing she knew she was standing inside of a ring in a forest. Mika could feel chills going up her back, and goosebumps all around body. She shouldn't be there, she wasn't supposed to be there. The land of spirits wasn't meant for mortals, and definitely not for Mika. She had both her feet rooted firmly in the mortal world. Speaking of her feet, she realized she was still wearing her shoes. She never wore shoes in her dreams, she hated shoes. She almost through up, watching a few of the others throw up and her realization she got pulled into some trickster spirits games. Her grandmother always taught her to be wary of spirits but she hadn't felt anything prior to this. Mika listened to what the fairies said, and carefully considered her options. Not like she had any, she would have to play in whatever game this was.

Mika followed the fairies and got knocked into by a black haired fellow, holding hands with someone with purple hair. She smiled softly at the two of them.
"Spirits are often whimsical and don't concern themselves in the affairs of mortals. I think we're mere pawns in the games they play with each other so as long as we stay here, and they didn't tell us expressly not to, so I don't think you'd get in trouble for it." Mika informed them, hearing them question it. She reached down and slid off her boots and socks and squishing her feet into the ground. It felt like summer, and home a little bit. A little bit of magic in the air, a little bit of magic in the ground. That comforted her a little, as well as the knowledge that they seemed to be needed, and not used for sacrifice. So far at least.

"Sorry, I never introduced myself. I'm Mika." Mika smiled at the both of them a little more warmly now.
"You two know each other then? So the choices the spirits made weren't quite at random." Mika deduced from what she could see. She wondered how she fit in this situation, as she knew none of them, nor did she look like she was where they were from. She was an...outlier, which could prove to be a problem later. Depending on what they spirits wanted them for of course.

"Yep, yep, all good points, hey, listen do you know where-" he said, jumping up and down on one foot as he struggled to get a leg in his jeans. He looked up to see her walking away. Tch. women.

He finished struggling into his jeans to hear a growing yipping across the parking lot. "Poncho!" Tarly looked up just in time to grab a ball of fur and mats fearlessly leaping into his arms. "No - Poncho- stop - cor your breath is gross, mate, who've you been kissing?" the ferocious beast assaulted Tarly with unending licks. He was a brown west highland terrier mutt, barely out of puppy years, with a lopsided gate and more dirt then fur. Tarly had started feeling the critter months back, and it had taken a shine to him, though like Tarly it hardly stuck in one place for long periods of time.

"Listen mate, how about you and me go grab a burger or something, yeah?" Tarly asked, now dressed for all bar one shoe. He pulled the post-it note off his face, invisible specks of fairy dust shaking from his head and onto Poncho...
Tarly blinked. He blinked again. He stumbled backwards and bumped into a mushroom.

The carpark had warped into a forest. Conversation drifted in waves to him, hitting him all at once.

"Ah." said Tarly to himself, more questioning then screaming. Blink. Blink blinkblinkblinkblinkblink.

"Uhm. I don't suppose you have any idea what happened..."
"There's a really good chance that we might have hit our heads somewhere and are now hallucinating. Are those... fairies..."
"Are...are you real? Or...did I make you up...""You guys....you guys are seeing the same stuff right? Fair folk, forest all that crazy..."

"Hey, what's going on...""I...i...i don't know what to believe..."

Poncho, meanwhile, was having a great time. Bounding around under people's feet, sniffing at the fairie's curiously. He looked to Tarly with curiousity, who seemed to be having some kind of anuerism.

"What in the bloody blazes! Are you all okay with this?! Is no one here GENUINELY FREAKING THE FUCK OUT RIGHT NOW. Like I'm pretty sure this is a FREAK THE FUCK OUT SITUATION." he said, swapping limply at the air as he continued to back away from everyone who - as far as he was concerned - were way, way too calm. Maybe he was hallucinating them. Maybe everything here was a hallucination.

He'd taken something last night, hadn't he? That's why this was happening, surely? He didn't remember taking anything, but maybe he'd been too drunk to realise. But he'd been fine in the Leebry carpark? Or maybe he'd imagined that whole situation too? Running through a woods in one's underpants was probably nightmare-material for most people. His head was spinning. This was all way too weird.

"Woof!" offered Poncho happily. He was having a great time.

Nico Jensen and Caity George

Collaboration of: @Kyrisse and @Light the Dark

Wide eyed, Nico looked at the glowing fairies then at Caity, somehow in his confused state managing to remember his manners. "I'm Nico, by the way. I don't think I caught your name... and well, uh... you're seeing those winged little people too, right?"

"I know who you are...well...now..." Her voice was raw. Caity wiped tears from her eyes. She hated throwing up. But then, who liked it? "Since I'd rather not forever be thought of as 'the puking girl', I'm Caity." She knew she sounded a little put out, but things were a bit much right now.

"Oh, good, we're having the same hallucination then. Think we both got a batch of really bad coffee beans?"

Nico chuckled, glad that he could, at least, have a decent conversation in this hallucination... or whatever it was they were in. "Don't sweat it. Everyone pukes," he flashed her a grin. "Caity," he repeated. "Nice name..." he complimented. He would have said something more if not for the soft tap on his shoulder.

"Hey, what's going on?"

Nico turned towards the voice and found himself staring into a familiar face. He had seen her in several Hollywood parties before. The uniqueness of her appearance made it easy to recognize her and difficult to forget her. Although try as he might, he couldn't quite remember her name. All the same, he smiled at her and then shrugged. "I have no idea," he answered truthfully.

"You guys....you guys are seeing the same stuff right? Fair folk, forest all that crazy?" he heard the shirtless man ask next, panic evident in his voice.

"Yeah, I'm guessing we're all seeing the same things," he replied, wondering in passing why he was wet. He turned back just in time to see a blue butterfly approach. Nereia? Cladarat? Queen Erissa and King Cirrus? Seriously? Is this some of prank? he looked around. If it is, this is one heck of a prank... but... his mind scrambled for some sort of explanation and so far, being pranked seemed the most plausible.

"What in the bloody blazes!
Are you all okay with this?!
Is no one here GENUINELY FREAKING THE FUCK OUT RIGHT NOW.
Like I'm pretty sure this is a FREAK THE FUCK OUT SITUATION."

The voice filtered through the haze of thoughts that swirled in Caity's brain. She looked around - it was the pantless man from earlier, who was thankfully wearing pants now. And...a dog. Great. She couldn't help but think he had a point - it was a freak out situation. Still, freaking out in public had never been something she had wanted to do.

"Yeah, really bad coffee beans..." Nico muttered as he looked around more. There were no cameras. And while he expected his camera crew to be peeking at how he was reacting from behind the trees, he couldn't see any of them. And a dog...there was a dog. He knew the staff loved teasing him but why would these nutjobs include a dog?

Caity nodded in agreement. It was the most reasonable explanation. After all, how was she going to believe that they had really been transported to a different place? A place with, of all things, fairies? It couldn't be real. It wasn't as if their lives were being written by a fantasy author. They weren't just characters in a story.

But she had also never seen the majority of these people before. And if this was some hallucination, why would she dream up people she didn't know? Caity couldn't make sense of it. Which might mean it wasn't some hallucination after all. "I have never wanted to be hallucinating more in my life..." She cleared her throat and nodded to the fairy that had made the announcement. "I guess we follow the coffee fairy?"

Nico turned his attention back to Caity. "I think we need to consider the fact that we might not be hallucinating at all. I mean..." he reached out and pinched her cheek. "You feel that right?" he asked.

"Ow." She pushed his hand away. "Yeah, I felt it. You pinch cheeks like someone's great-aunt." Caity added the last part in a mutter as she rubbed her cheek.

"Someone's great aunt... heh. This is the first time I ever got that comment," Nico chuckled as he continued looking around, narrowing his eyes at the trees and still trying to spot the crew that weren't really there. "This might actually be the work of...Howell...gotta give credit to the guy. This place looks fantastic. If I'm doing a fantasy movie, this will definitely fit as its setting," he chattered distractedly, still hung up on the only explanation that seemed logical to him and completely forgetting his usual discreetness about his identity. "I'm not sure why he'd bring in other people though. I mean, I recognize some of the faces here..." he glanced towards Maine and Caterina. "But yeah, you're right. We should probably follow the...coffee fairy," he chuckled at the impromptu moniker his new friend gave the blue fairy. "I hope we can get some coffee at least. I left mine back at the library."

"I just don't want to admit this might be...well...real." Caity said as they trudged after the fairy. Well, Caity trudged - Nico was just as light on his feet as one would expect a movie star to be. "And yes please to the coffee. My thermos is at work... and what I did drink, well..." It was on the ground somewhere behind them.

With the appearance of the cabins, Caity raised a brow. She still didn't want to believe that this was real, but the prospect of having a place suited to her was appealing. "Okay, if there's no coffee in my fantasy fairy house, but coffee in yours, I want you to share."

The movie star flashed Caity a grin. "Feel free to stop by my house anytime. It's just next door," he said as he headed to the house right next to hers.

As far as movie stars went - as far as males went - Nico wasn't half bad. Caity rubbed the cheek where he pinched, and went into her own 'house'.

Caity

Caity walked into her cottage, and stopped in the entry with her jaw hanging open in awe. However this place came to be, it was perfect. Caity almost didn't care that she was clearly going insane or suffering some mass hallucination. Whatever or whoever set up this place, they had matched her tastes almost exactly.

She couldn't help the excited squeal that escaped her. "Books!"

Books lined almost every available wall. The small kitchenette had a cute little dining area with books piled into a china cabinet instead fine china. The living room had a plush sofa and cozy blankets, books all along three walls. And her bedroom was a bright little room with books and trinkets along the walls that didn't have a window. In fact, the only room without books was the bathroom.

It was nearly heaven. If only...

Caity sniffed. She hadn't noticed anything earlier in her excited dash about the house, but she swore she could smell something now. She made her way back to the kitchen. There, sitting on the table, was a lovely - lovely - mug of coffee. Beside it was a french press filled with more. Caity sank down at the table, her hands reaching out to take the mug.

But then she remembered something that paused her hands. What if - just what if? - this wasn't a hallucination or a prank. What if, against all logic and reason, this was real? All the tales of the fare folk said you were not, under any circumstances, to eat or drink the food. Or else you would stay in the fairy world forever.

"Fuck."

How crazy would she sound if she warned everyone? Caity was up and moving outside again before the thought finished. Better to sound crazy and be wrong, than to not say anything and be right. "Nico!" She paused. No she couldn't talk to everyone at once. Who else might listen to her? She looked around for a kind face.

Kieran, tabitha, Caity

Slightly more comfortable, Kieran looked down at his hand intertwined with Tabi's and gave it his best poker face. He looked at Mika without batting an eye and acted like holding hands with a random girl was an everyday thing. Kieran truly has no shame, so it didnt embarress him in the least. "Yea we know eachother. We are long time soul mates, having known each other since birth practically. We have gone on many epic quests, and even conquered the dragons lair." Kieran chuckled at Tabi's reaction. "This land of magic and fairies is just our next conquest." Kieran sighed slightly. "Sorry Tabi didnt mean to nearly give you a heart attack, we actually havent known each other very long we met briefly before we were spirited away to her."

Kieran held up his and Tabi's intertwined hand. "This....well its more of safety thing you know? Dont wanna get zapped away again. Tabi is keeping me safe." Kieran extended his other hand towards Mika. "My name is Kieran, and this is Tabi."

Mika observed the pair in front of her, a sort of half smile growing on her face. She didn't want to freak them out too much, she didn't have any idea what the future held. She could need their assistance in the future and she didn't want them thinking she was some half-wit.

"You know, my Nooki used to tell me that stories are just truths from a different perspectives. Perhaps you're just a little more in touch with those perspectives than the rest of us." Mika said.

"And where are you lot from? Judging from the fact that you aren't wearing ten layers to protect yourselfs from the oncoming storm, I'd say somewhere warm. The majority of you were, perhaps you all had a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wouldn't that be an interesting puzzle. You have the majoirty of the pieces, and decide to take some from another just to see if they fit?" Mika was aware she was rambling, and she cut herself off with a shake of her head.

"I apologize, I was informed that the spirits, while normally cryptic, normally have a lot more of a systematic approach to things. Perhaps that was whistful thinkings of someone who had more faith in the supernatural than the human race." Mika said, taking Kieran's hand and shaking it firmally.

"It is truly a pleasure to meet the two of you." She smiled warmly at both of them, finishing her external reflection of an inner turmoil.

Tabitha shifted slightly as the woman mistook them holding hands as something else, and looked up when Kieran wove a story, rocking back slightly and just listening for now, poking her tongue out at him when he laughed at her. Glancing back to the woman, she gave her a small smile, trying to seem a little more...normal, but that never seemed to work anyway. "I think its more the otherway around" she said softly, looking to Mika when she spoke, "Thats funny. I think the same with artwork" she said, shrugging.

She looked down at her clothes, giving another shrug, "Well, yeah, but I don't tend to dress for weather" She said, "Cause thats no fun" She smiled brightly, then shrugged again, "Who knows why they brought us here, from where we were? maybe it doesn't have to do with location but...attraction? maybe they saw something in each of us. Don't know what, though"

She frowned, "Are you saying you've had experience with this type of thing before?" She asked, and then began to worry slightly. What if her more eccentric drawings were...influenced from things?

Kieran narrowed his eyebrows, realizing he basically just walked straight into crazy town, bought a large bucket of popcorn, and arrived early enough to see the previews. Kieran sighed internally, already feeling mentally tired. But it would rude to just walk away, not that he normally cared, but Tabi would make a fuss at him. Kieran smiled, giving away his signature grin, and lit his eyes up with excitement. "Well I try not to depend too much on the spirits too much, gets in the way of dealing with every day life." Kieran put his hand behind his head and laughed.

"I try to focus on the present and draw on my own mental creative energy, to better stimulate a victorius outcome that is much more preferenced than a most unfavorable ending. I like to channel my surroundings and personal feelings, and turn them into words. I am a writer, so maybe these....fairies snatched me up because they thought I could produce great entertainment. So long as they dont ask me to write poetry. I stink at poetry."

Kieran looked at Tabi, seeing her discomfort. Kieran felt obligated to cheer her up. He poked her side, giving her a "be happy" look. "And besides I dont think the spirits are that interested in our daily comings and goings. I believe they are mostly bystanders."

Mika could tell when she wasn't wanted. Years of being a nosy paralegal gave her the knowledge of when people didn't want her around or found her weird and annoying.

"I grew up learning about spirits. Not necessarily these ones though. I'm Ojibwe, up from Minnesota. They're very superstitious up in those parts, and I suppose I am a bit too." Mika admitted, shrugging as she looked around the houses. She saw hers, as it wasn't a house but a tent. A very big tent but a tent nonetheless, which reminded her.

"You're scared of your house, which is supposed to be the house fo your dreams. It's odd to be scared of a house that was made just for you, don't you think Tabi?" Mika asked the girl, suddenly very curious about his distate for the house provided to him. He was an odd fellow indeed, but then again, so were the rest of them.

"Oh, word to the wise, I wouldn't eat the food. The side affects might be a little less than optimal." Mika told them, even as her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten lunch but who knew what side affects their food would bring. Until she could get one of them in a vow that said the food was completely 100% magic free, Mika wouldn't touch it.

Tabitha frowned, and poked her tongue out at Kieran again at his look, before looking back to Mika. "Ojibwe? Oh. Cool" She said, not one to ever judge someone's culture, "I mean...i know there are strange things out there, but....being teleported to the land of the fairies? I don't know...I guess its real since we're here, but..." She sighed.

At the question, Tabitha was a little taken aback. She glanced back to the house that she supposed was hers, remembering how perfect it was. Was that to keep them here? She looked back to Mika "Uh. Hm. Well. Somethings people just don't want to...deal with things. Just because something is perfect, doesn't mean that it is..well perfect" She said softly, glancing to Kieran, then back "Doesn't mean that they are scared"

She rocked back on her heels, keeping her balance just nicely, "But what if we're here forever and ever? I can't last that long without food. I'm a tiny little woman" She said wide eyed.

Kieran steeled his expression, letting nothing show. He...he wasnt scared of what may be in his cabin....or maybe he was. Kieran had multiple reasons for not wanting to go inside his cabin and they were all his own, but how the hell did this women know? How could she tell? Was it actual spirits? Was she psychic? Kieran mentally face palmed himself, telling himself not to get worked up over something silly. Maybe she guessed it, and she just got lucky.

"Im not scared to go inside my own designated cabin, but I think its just....well I mean....look there is no way my cabin knows exactly what I want ok. My mind is my most closely guarded treasure, and I dont like people peeping into ok."

Kieran tapped his foot on the ground, thinking. "We need to eat at some point, I am sure the creatures here would not....like....do anything weird to us like that."

Tabitha gave a shrug, "You saw my house. Its more the perfect art studio, then an entrance into my mind" she said, then smiled, "i'm not sure anyone can take that" She said with a giggle, giving him a smile. [colo=coral]"Besides, i think it can be anything you want, really. So....you should be safe, Kieran." She said almost as an afterthought.

"I definetely need to eat. I haven't eaten for hoooouuuurs" Tabitha said, frowning as she tried to figure out just how long it had been. "oh gosh since breakfast" She exclaimed

Kieran laughed. He shrugged off Mika's comments, in no disrespect to her. Mika seemed...slightly odd but she also seemed nice and while they were here having her as a friend would help. "Mika I hear what you are saying but Tabi needs to eat. She might litterally die. So we are going to say our good byes, for now, and hoepfully see you later." Kieran gave Mika a two finger salute, then while still holding on to Tabi, he turned them around and started to walk away. Kieran wanted to get away, away from the rest of the group for a little while. It seemed as if there was so much to explore, and he did not want to waste it all in one spot. They were in freakin NeverLand, sorta, and he intended to take full advantage. Plus he never knew, he may be able to snuff out what the Fairie people were planning with them.

Suddenly Kieran saw another women run out from her cabin, acting frantic. Kieran looked at Tabi, sighed, then smiled and shrugged. This seemed interesting. "Lets go meet another one of our new teammates shall we Tabi?"

Kieran walked them over to the frantic young women, and Kieran snapped his fingers to get her attention. "Hey yo," Kieran said smiling",Calm down whats the matter?"

Caity's eyes swept to the man who had snapped her fingers at her. What sort of self absorbed pig of a person decided to snap at someone else? "Did you just snap...at...me?" Her voice trailed off as she registered who the snapper was. Was that... Kieran Hishamie? The author of the novel 'Deep Down'?

She shook her head. Not the time to be starstruck, Caity... Of course, now there was the potential of sounding like a fool to a well-known author... Well, he was still rude for snapping at her. She'd focus on that. "Uhm, well, if this isn't a hallucination or something of that nature, or a prank, I was thinking of the tales of the fair folk. If those legends hold any truth to them, then us eating or drinking anything here is not a good idea."

Following Kieran happily, Tabitha was beginning to feel better about being here. Perhaps it was simply that people were...real, at least. she doubted she could have come up with what Mika had said,. Studying the somewhat distressed girl, Tabitha frowned as she was completely ignored. She could get fascination with someone, particularly if you knew their works, but....Tabitha sighed, glancing about her, and back to the woman. She smiled sweetly and leaning forward, she poked the girl, "Excuse me, its really rude to ignore someone" She said, just about as politely as she could, "I never got the appeal of being flustered at famous people"

Caity finally noticed the pink-haired girl at Kieran's side. Too distracted by the presence of an author, Caity had missed the girl who was currently holding hands with said author until she poked her. What the actual fuck. It wasn't as if she had ignored the woman intentionally. Nor was she flustered!

"Were you not listening to what I just said?" Caity asked, her eyes searching the area for Nico. Where was that damned movie star with an addiction to coffee? "If this is real eating or drinking anything here will trap us in the fairy world forever. And you are more worried about introductions and being ignored!?"

Tabitha blinked at the woman, and seemed a little perplexed, reaching up with her free hand to push her hair back out of her eyes, "But I'm hungry, and we could be here forever anyway, what are we going to do, die one by one until the last person eats the rest and then dies?" she asked, staring at the woman, "And you seemed to think that it was rude that Kieran snapped his fingers at you, until you saw who he was, and you ignored me....which is rude" Tabitha said, softly as if she was doing something wrong, but she didn't know what.

She starred at the woman, rocking slightly on her heels, then blinked, "Can I draw you?" She asked as if nothing was wrong.

"Draw me?" No way in hell was she letting someone draw her. That experience from high school art class was enough, thank you. Caity shook her head. "Look, just don't eat anything, okay? Or drink anything. Just until you know it's safe." Or until they knew if they were stuck there forever.

Finally, she spotted Nico. "Excuse me." She said to the duo, and trotted off to make sure the movie star knew about not eating or drinking.

The woman hadn't said no, really, so Tabitha glanced up at Kieran, and smiled.

A musical trumpet sounded, announcing the arrival of two very unique looking fairies dancing a waltz. The female was in a white satin and lace dress. She appeared like an angel, complete with a halo and feathered wings. The male, in contrast to the female, was in a black and red suit, his similarly colored wings bat-like and leathery. Nereia looked up, a telltale smile on her lips. "Ah yes, of course, Dia dos Namorados," she said in her sing song voice as she watched the pair slowly drift down towards them.

"Amor and Ódio " the smaller fairies flitting by whispered excitedly among themselves.

The pair twirled round and round to music only they could hear, their eyes focused only on each other. It was as if they were figurines in a musical box. As they continued their dance, red and black glittering sand showered over the guests.

Nico laid a hand on the door, not really knowing what to expect. The 'houses' provided for them looked like hollowed out trees, not even big enough to accommodate a bed that could fit a man of his height. Would he end up sleeping sitting down on wood and maybe dried up leaves? When he thought about it, he didn't really mind but he doubted it would be very comfortable. "Howell, when I get back from this... illusion of sorts, I'll kick your sorry ass," he shook his head, still convinced that everything was an elaborate hoax played on him by the camera crew's point guy. But all thoughts about Howell and pranks disappeared when he finally pushed open the door and laid eyes on the guest house he was to stay in.

"Wow," he whistled low. Although it looked so small from outside, the interior was impressively spacious and designed to his preference: rustic and laid back. It looked a lot like the rest house he just had his architect friend design for him. He walked in, the door swinging shut behind him. The living room was definitely impressive, with a hearty flame burning brightly in the hearth. He proceeded to explore all the rooms like an excited child and he found himself completely impressed. Everything was in place and specific to his needs. "Wow," he repeated to himself. He slowly walked back to the living room and settled down on the couch, amazement still apparent on his face. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled his senses and he grinned when he saw a steaming cup on the coffee table, right beside a pot full of the same dark liquid. Without hesitation, he took the cup and drank the coffee.

Halfway done with the cup, he heard a trumpet sound outside. He thought of staying where he was and maybe getting a book to read with the coffee. But curiosity got the better of him and he soon found himself back on his feet and heading towards the door, the half empty coffee cup still in his hand.

As soon as he stepped out of his house, he looked up, just in time to see a pair of fairies twirling around in the air, red and black glitters raining down from them.

Caity and Kieran

Kieran looked at Tabitha and rolled his eyes, but in a teasing way. He could almost guess what she was thinking and encouraged her to do so. With a nudge and a nose tap Kieran signaled to Tabi to sit down and start sketching. He did not see any harm in her doing this, and drawing may help her deal with the ever changing reality of the situation that was currently unfolding before their eyes. Kieran smiled at her, let go of her hand, and took a few quick steps forward so he could gently tap Caity on the shoulder. When she turned around to look at him, he started to speak, wanting to apologize for how rude he was earlier, and apologize for how Tabi seemed to be a little sensitive. He wanted to explain both his and her actions, but stopped dead short when Caity turned around. It was if he saw her in a new light suddenly, with her face glistening with a golden glow and her eyes shining like brilliant twin suns.

Kieran almost stuttered when he spoke first but remained calm. "Hi...hi. Look I am sorry about earlier, not the best of introductions huh?" Kieran smiled and tried to do his magic calming look. Kieran vaguely noticed the black and red sand dust flowing freely around them, and the soft music in the back round. It was as if his mind, his ever so strongly trained and witty mind, could realize something was happening but he was not strong enough yet to resist.

"Lets reintroduce ourselves, my name is Kieran Hishamie. You said you read one of my books?"

Caity had turned to face him, slightly annoyed that he had stopped her from warning Nico. An apology was nice and all, and she appreciated it - but couldn't it wait? And what on earth was with that smug look upon his face? No wonder he had snapped at her earlier - and here she had let who he was change her mind about it!

She waved a hand in front of her face, knocking away sparkling glitter from the air in front of her. "Uhm, I know who you are. I'm Caity. And thanks, I appreciate the apology, but now really isn't the time... I mean, it's like a glitter factory exploded right now." She would have said something a bit more colorful, but saying a unicorn pissed over everything might be a bit crude.

She turned to walk away once more, but found she couldn't just yet. Caity turned back to the author. "Yes, I've read your books. All of them, actually. Part of the librarian gig, you know?" And Caity honestly couldn't believe that it was this man who had wrote 'Deep Down'.

Kieran forgot he was suppose to be distracting Caity so Tabi could do her thing, ignored the weird sand dust stuff that was all around them, and even forgot for the moment they were in fairy land. Kieran just found himself drawn in, her wit being so charming and her book no how was also interesting. That and fact that she actually read his books was very appealing. He did not normally run into fans of his, even though he had some best sellers, and he loathed it usually when he did. But.....for some reason it was like a veil had been lifted and he just was enamored with what he saw. He didn't......feel different but it was like he saw everything that make Caity amazing.

Kieran pocketed one hand and rubbed the back of his neck with the other. "That's so awesome, thanks for reading my books. My favorite so far is my New Voyage series, but I was thinking of making a spin off or a sequel to my romantic novel "Deep Down". If you want while we are here If I work on anything I can give you a sneak peak."

Kieran hoped he was being charming. He wasn't sure how to go about this, and there was a pounding in his brain that started to develop.

Even ten minutes ago, Caity would have replied 'thank you for writing them!' But now, as Kieran looked at her with that smug smile on his face, the words caught in her throat. "I'm honestly not so much of a fan of New Voyage. It's well written, of course, but you seem to have lost the creative spark that you had with 'Deep Down'."

She might as well be honest with him. "Daniel is a bit...entitled, don't you think? He is the one that struggles the least, his life is the best in both worlds, and he is as much the arrogant, spoiled man at the end of the novel as he was at the start. But you heap praises on him, as if he has the most difficult time." She was starting to see 'Daniel' and Kieran had a lot in common. Self centered and arrogant, with a confidence that was more ego than substance.

How she had let herself be washed away by his writing before was beyond her. How could anything so beautiful come from a mind of someone so full of himself?

Kieran was caught off guard by her comments. He thought he wrote New Voyage pretty well, and Daniel was a very popular creation of his, but she didn't like either? At the same time Kieran only admired her more, he admired how honest she was and straight about her thoughts and feelings, and how she was so open with him even though they just met. "Well....thank you for telling me that. Not many people would so willingly tell me the faults in my creations."

Kieran gave a hearty laugh. "It gladdens me to know I have a reader so confident and honest, it makes me feel like I am writing for good people. New Voyage is my best seller, but if Daniel is such a turn off maybe I should focus on another project you think? What do you think, as a reader, my readers would enjoy the most?"

"I think you denied Sally everything. She worked so hard, and in the end ended up with nothing. As a reader, it was unsatisfying. You have characters come from different walks of life, only to have the rich or well off succeed. It's like that enough in real life - give people someone to root for that isn't an ass." Caity shrugged, and looked around. She still had to talk to Nico. And she wanted to get away from the disappointment of a man that Kieran turned out to be.

And besides, there was something pulling her away from the author. A tugging inside of her - an insistence she had somewhere else to be. "I have to go. It was...informative... talking to you."

Kieran nodded politely, hiding his disappointment. He had though he well written characters and plots, with an ending that irritated fans, made them laugh, cry, basically just leaving them off wanting them more and drawing conclusions of their own. This was all so.......Kieran put a hand to his temple, slightly irritated that the pounding in his head was there at all. "Yes thank you again. If you ever want to talk shop, or want more info on my writing, or just want to give me advice please find me. You are a well spring of good intentions yet untapped."

Kieran gave Caity a two finger salute, smiled, then turned around and started walking back to Tabi who he hoped he had bought enough time.....fifteen minutes should have been enough right?

Cori Woods
Cori had left Maine to do as he pleased, and she looked around at the others. People were already starting to get along and socialize, but none of them were very interested in her, it seemed. She had always struggled to make friends, and to see others clicking so easily sparked a twinge of jealousy in her. She wasn't aware of the fact that she was the only one here with a significant other, but even their first impressions of each other were less than friendly. Why couldn't it be easy? Good. I need to check out my cabin anyaway, she thought bitterly, turning sharply on her heel to approach one of the homes.

As she walked in, she removed her sunglasses to take a better look at the place before her. It had a colonial feel with stairs wrapping up through the center. It was lavishly furnished, and she recognized some of her favorite brands endorsed by her father's company. It was upon recognizing the Woods Stamp of Approval, however, that her dazed smile faded into a frown. And suddenly, the room warped like it was a glitch on a computer screen. Cori gasped, covering her lips with her hand as her sunglasses clattered to the floor. The image flickered to something much less personal: it was suddenly a contemporary styled home, its furniture and appliances minimalist and neutral in colors. However, in the strange switch, Cori could have sworn she saw Dracko's much smaller but comforting apartment.

Cori Woods leaned over to pick up her sunglasses before slowly walking further into the home. Her gaze lingered on a door to the side and she instinctively knew there was a garage beyond. Her heels clicked loudly in the empty home, echoing with power. As she stepped into the bedroom, she was a little surprised but the design was beautiful and practical. There was nothing personal to be found: a small shelf for books, but there was no personality despite the beauty. "Wow," she sighed, dropping onto the bed to pull back the comfortable. Silk sheets, she thought, her fingers running along the smooth fabric.

Maybe Neverland wouldn't be so bad.

Tabitha and Tachi

Tabitha was sitting aside from the conversation
Kieran was having with Caity, content to draw, she had her head bowed over her sketch pad, and was carefully drawing a few small details, her magenta hair falling over her face as she did so. She hummed to herself as she drew, finding peace in the simple task. She was feeling a heck of a lot better and she relaxed, letting herself sink into the art

Tachi had stood and paced. His hands ran through his hair and he somewhat ignored the small dog running around. He paused and inhaled getting a grip. He shook his head and started to walk off intent on finding his fantasy house or whatever and put on his actual clothes. As he walked his pants got snagged and ripped off as rip off pants are to do. He did not seem to notice and stopped when he saw the girl drawing. Her pink hair caught his attention and he found himself walking toward her not realizing that he was currently garbed only in his black thong.

Tabitha looked up as she heard someone approach, carefully setting aside her pencils, she studied him a moment, a little perplexed. Where they meant to be walking around in their undergarments? She looked down at herself, frowning slightly, then back up to the man. Not that she minded, really. He had a good body, and she shifted, hugging her sketch pad to him. Not that Tabitha went for a body, but rather the person behind it, it was still nice to appreciate art, in any form. She watched him come to her, and smiled brightly. "Hello. Do you realise you're walking around in...wow. Is that a thong?" She asked, almost innocently

Tachi stopped and saw that she was frowning. He tilted his head feeling a bit confused until she spoke up. Ah that explains it. He gave a rather sheepish smile and shrugged. "Yep...that is a thong. and no...no i did not realize that my pants ripped off." He sighed. "Well I was going to atop by and ask if I could see what you were drawing....but I think I should find somewhere to put on my actual clothes" She was cute and he was still coming down from feeling terrified about being in a place of fae so that was probably why he was acting slightly different then his normal full of himself attitude.

Tabitha smiled sweetly, and looked down at her sketch pad. "I was just drawing someone" She said, looking up almost cheekily, "She didn't seem to want me to, but I am" She giggled, and rose, careful not to knock over her pencils. The guy seemed sweet, and...innocent. She tilted her head, studying him. "So I'm guessing since you didn't know that you were unclothed, and are wearing a black thong...that you work in the ah, sensual dancing industry?" She asked cheerfully, as she came to her full height, which wasn't very tall at all, and looked up at him, still smiling sweetly.

She offered him her hand, "I'm Tabitha"

Tachi's brow raised at her comment and he smiled. "sneaky art I like it" Her giggle was adorable...wait what the heck. Was it the location or his brain making him realize that he liked her. Even if she was short. Travel size. Her comment resulted in an honest laugh to escape him. "Well, that is certainly one way to phrase my job, but yes. Yes i am what you call a sensual dancer" Another chuckle. He gently took her hand and shook it. "Tachi" The next thing he did was a Japanese bow. Probably weird to others, especially right now, but to him that kind of politeness was ingrained into his behaviors. Though he doesn't display them often at work.

Tabitha blinked and watched him as he bowed, a little taken aback, but she smiled pleasantly,"A pleasure to meet you, Tachi" She said, deliberatly trying to copy him and stumbling. She frowned at herself, and then looked to him, blushing slightly. "I...I normally have more balance then that" she said, not wanting to have looked like a fool. She hugged her sketchpad to her, suddenly a little shy. She shifted slightly, rocking back on her heels as if to prove she was well blanced. "Well, you certainly have the body for that line of work. An artful body, for an artful occupation"

Tat watched her stumble, but the attempt was appreciated. He resisted bowing again as was custom for japan and managed not to. He chuckled at her blush and statement and shook his head. "Don't be. I appreciate the attempt" Was he being nice. Friggin heck. Then the next comment caught him off guard. Sure he was used to comment about his body but...artful occupation. That was new. Even though he liked his job he usually got pity or disgust...sometimes curiosity, but...a compliment on it was new. "T...Thanks" He rubbed his neck and snapped himself out of it. "Well...If you ever want to draw me I would be willing to help you out...that way you don't have to be sneaky" Wow that was terrible good job. He internally winced, but hey maybe she would take him up on it.

Had she baffled him? Tabitha looked up at him, studying him somewhat as she tried to figure out what she had done to fluster him. It was sweet, and she smiled, her perplexed expression slipping away as she bounced slightly at his offer to let her draw him, "Oh, i'd really love that" she said cheerfully, "Really, I really would" she said, studying him again, a small smile on her face, really appreciative. "if you'd like to now...that would be great" she said, looking back to him

Tachi watched her bounce with excitement and smiled. "Sure why not." The duffel got put down and he paused a moment. "How do you want me to stand?" The hell was he doing. Oh well it isn't like they have anywhere else to go. After all they are stranded in the fae realm with tiny fairies everywhere.

Tabitha smiled excitedly, bouncing happily and pleased to have a willing subject, she just about ran around Tachi as she studied him from just about every angle, bouncing with each step. She clapped her hands happily, and sitting down, not concerned at all with the tall, naked man standing above her she said "that's okay you can sit now, I'm good. Good memory" she said brightly flipping to a clean page, she quickly began to sketch, constantly moving where she sat.

Tachi blinked as the pink hair Tabi bounced around him like the energizer bunny and found himself smiling. Though she did inspect every angle of him...part of him wondered what she tho-get yourself together idiot. besides she has too much energy for you. But he liked that. He shook his head then raised a brow. "A good memory huh? was that developed from sneaking art?" a playful tease...damn he should just combust now and get it over with. He sat down and waited to see what she came up with liquid topaz eyes filled with swirling thoughts and emotions.

Tabitha looked up, and blinked, studying his eyes a moment. "oh, uh, no. More so I wouldn't have to keep looking up and crabbing my neck and this way people don't have to be standing for ages while I draw" she said brightly and smiled, leaning over the drawing again, seeming to move to the beat of her own rhythm, glancing up every so often to check a small detail, or colour. She drew quickly, filling in the details as she came to them. "the sneaky part is just for me. Makes me feel like a ninja" she said with a giggle

Tachi tilted his head. "Thats really cool of you." Again with the nice. Something about this girl with the stab you in the eye pink hair is really getting to me. get over it you're arranged remember He watched her for a few more moments and realized he was basically dry now. Finally. He chuckled. "The pink haired ninja. Wait no...the art ninja." Another hint of playfulness another internal wince. That giggle made him feel weird. Damn it you're in a fae realm wearing a thong this is the moment you decide to open...with a person you barely know. dumb ass He inhaled and looked down before his eyes found themselves trailing back up to her face to watch while she worked. This is how you become a dumbass

She carefully choose the right colour for his eyes, gently filling them and somehow getting the emotion in them, a little baffled, a little intrigued. The colour was so...unique and warm. She could just about fall into them. She looked up and blushed slightly, seeing him watching her. A little flustered she bowed her head, and finished off the drawing, suddenly shy. Tachi was being so nice to her, and she didn't know what to make of that. Squirming, she held the image up, hiding her face behind it

Tachi gave a small smile when she looked up and blushed then went back to drawing. Hand yourself over you are so beyond dumb He let out a bath and refocused when she held out the image. He blinked then blinked again. "Thats...amazing" He stared at the picture that had so much detail and color. wow He looked at her a moment then back at the picture. He seemed...warmer then normal. More receptive. Even in that thong. How the hell does she have this affect on me....I barely know her

Tabitha smiled and turned the image to her, immensely pleased. She carefully extracted the picture and held it out to him, "you can have it" she said because he seemed to need it and bounding up she trotted around him happily, seeming to have forgotten that Tachi was mostly naked, leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek, and giggling, happy now. She liked being with people that seemed to understand her, and now she suddenly had Kieran, who she could see was still talking with caity and Tachi. Why did she find guys that seemed to like her after she was to be married? After she was transported to this world?

Tachi tilted his head and gently took the picture. He gave a bright smile reaching his eyes. "Thank you Tabitha." He then froze when she kissed his cheek. He blinked and gently put the drawing in his duffel. He then smiled at her. "I'm glad I managed to run into you." He looked down topaz eyes suddenly clouded. He stood and grabbed his duffel feeling his walls inch up a bit. "This was nice. But I think I should go put on clothes now. If you want.....you can stop by the weird house ill be in" He smiled again and gave a bow figuring she wanted to find someone else....someone less him. He turned fully prepared to walk away but hoping maybe they would hang out again sometime...maybe when he was fully clothed.

Tabitha blinked, a little baffled at his sudden closure. She stood there, trying to figure out if she had done something wrong, and she sighed softly, watching him go a moment before she smiled and bounded around him, in a quick little circle, stopping in front of him and giving him a bright smile. She hugged him, uncaring of his near nakedness. "thank you, Tachi, for being...nice to me"

Tachi blinked and then got hugged. His brain froze for a second before he embraced her in return. He had to bend slightly to embrace her fully but he was fine with that. He held the hug a bit longer and then leaned back. "You are welcome Tabitha." He went back into the hug for another moment and a side of him hoped that maybe whomever he was arranged with would be this...unique. He leaned back again and tilted his head. "I am sorry....I...." an awkwardness settled over him and he slowly left the embrace. "I am being arranged by my parents....so I..." His eyes dropped. I have to keep my distance from everyone....why am i having a hard time doing that with her? Why am I suddenly upset at being arranged....what is wrong with me He really did not seem to care that he was still just in a thong and boots. That is the attire he is usually in for his job after all.

Tabitha sighed a little down now at the reminder of her real life. She looked up at him, wide eyed innocence, her joy gone somewhat. She was saddened that he broke the hug, and she stood there, feeling a little cold. "I am too" she said softly, a little dejectedly, "but...I don't want to be"

Tachi blinked at the sadness she was expressing and internally face palmed. He lightly pulled her back into a hug his voice now low a pang of sadness wrapped in his voice. "I don't want to be either...but I kind of put myself in this position" He kept in the hug this time he would let her break the embrace. Thinking of something to change the mood around..."You know...if you want to come with me...if this house is really supposed to be my fantasy house then there will be japanese tea" Desperately trying to bring that joy back to her eyes.

Tabitha leaned into the hug, now seeming to have completely forgotten that Tachi was only in a thong. "I didn't though...I was just being myself..." she said softly, burying her face against his chest, at the invitation she looked up a little wide eyed, but happy, she nodded and then hesitated, seeing Kieran finishing up with Caity. "id love to, but I'd like to make sure my friend is okay" she said almost regretfully, "maybe...later? I'd really love that. I've never had Japanese tea"

Tachi smiled and nodded. He followed her gaze and raised a brow. Then he refocused on Tabi and nodded. "Okay. I will see you later then. Oh wait. here" He gently dug through his duffel so as to not disturb the drawing and pulled out a sharpie. He gently dug through some more and found a post it pad. he wrote his number on it and handed it to her. "Feel free to text or call or whatever Im there"

Caity and Gordo

Gordo sighed, left alone he shoved his hands in his pockets, watching those around him. There weren't many things that interested him, so Gordo watched people around him. He watched a couple of people, and after a time, he hesitated before approaching a purple haired individual. There was something about her that intrigued him and he wanted to figure out what.

Still, he stuttered as he said "H-hello."

Caity stopped in her tracks, turning to this new person. Something still tugged at her to keep walking, but for now she paused. "Hi?" She asked, confused. Why was this guy talking to her. She wasn't anything special. Glancing around, Caity noticed everyone seemed to be talking to someone. Maybe he was talking to her out of pity?

Still, his stuttering was kind of cute. As was he.

"Looks like a bomb went off inside a unicorn, right?" She waived her hand in the air - sparkles of glitter still floated around.

Gordo smiled slightly, the girl seemed to think he was just there because there was no one else to approach. Strange, really. Really, she just intrigued him and Gordo gave a shrug. "well, that's certainly one way to describe it. I was thinking tinker bell was just so excited, she had to share the dust. The fairies so far do seem excited about us.." he said, managing to not stutter thankfully.

"I'm g-Gordo" Drat. Spoke took soon about the stuttering. Reaching up he ran a hand through his hair, pushing his glasses more securely to his nose as he did so, slightly flustered.

Caity laughed. "Humph, Tinker Bell." It was an apt description. It did look much like the fairy went everywhere and scattered pixidust. "Too bad we aren't flying, too."

She watched him with raised brows. "You okay? You seem a bit nervous. You shouldn't be because of me. Maybe because of all the Tinker Bells flying around and fucking with our heads, though. Next thing you know is Peter Pan will show up." Caity grinned at him, glad to share a joke.

Gordo smiled brightly, then shrugged "Then I'd be worried about falling, I have trouble keeping my feet on the ground as it is" he said, a little bashfully, watching the dust for a moment, and then back to Caity.

"Why shouldn't I be a little nervous?" he asked softly, a little...stumped about why he was. "You're a girl, and you seem quite nice. And, from what I heard, likes books." Why was he saying this?

Caity stared at him. "Yeah, but I'm just a girl. There are girls here who I'm pretty sure are supermodels." She paused a moment, his last words registering in her head. Had he eavesdropped on her conversation with Keiran? That really was not something she wanted to be eavesdropped on.

"Uh... were you eavesdropping?" Her tone was clear - she did not approve.

"sorry for having ears" Gordo said, surprised he had snapped back like that, wondering what he had done to have the girl be so...hostile. He thought they had been having a good conversation, but maybe he was just delusional. What girl would like him, anyway? "and sound travels" he slid his hands into his pockets once more, weary at having to defend himself from something he couldn't really stop.

She raised her brows. Caity hadn't expected him to snap at her. She hadn't been rude, but eavesdropping wasn't a nice thing to do. She certainly wasn't paying attention to other people's conversations. Maybe he had really good hearing? "Were you bitten by a radioactive bat?" She asked, laughing a little, trying to diffuse the situation. "Because your hearing has to be really good to be able to overhear stuff through all this noise."

"Nope it was a spider," Gordo shot back. So he could listen? It was a skill many people seemed to have lost over the years. It wasn't like he planned on it. "I'm good at listening, okay? Not many people notice me, and so I pay attention to what is around me." a little disappointed when it seemed to have been going so well, Gordo got a tad defensive.

"So why aren't you swinging through the trees like Spiderman?" Caity asked with a laugh. "Or, rather, Tarzan? Though Tarzan wasn't bit by a radioactive spider..."

Was she messing with him? Gordo couldn't tell. Suddenly self conscious and worried, he ran a hand through his hair again, causing it to stick up even more. Although he was pleased she could laugh, it hurt knowing it was at his expense. "No, he wasn't. He was raised by gorillas." he said a little neutrally, trying to figure out what he had done wrong. Caity seemed to have expected hostility from the first, and he didn't know why.

"Right? See, you know your classic literature." She paused. "Or you know your Disney movies." Caity laughed again. Not that the Disney versions of classics were bad, of course. She held a certain fondness for them - she had loved them as a child. But they weren't the actual stories.

"I know both" Gordo replied, still trying to figure out what he had done wrong. He sighed softly. Maybe coming approaching her hadn't been a good idea. He placed his hands in his pockets again, and stepped back. "well, it's been nice talking to you"

"You too." Caity did wonder, a bit, if she had said something wrong. She thought she had been nice - she had only been joking with the man, after all. That was what she did. But it didn't seem to matter, because she was being pulled away again by some invisible force. And she still needed to talk to Nico!

She glanced back at Gordo as she walked away. "Oh, by the way, I don't know if you heard, but don't eat or drink here!" Might as well give him the warning. It was the least she could do.

Tabby and Kieran

tabitha was looking at the phone number, wondering if cell phones would even work in this magical world. She looked to tachi, and smiled as she disappeared, and looked for Kieran, seeing that he was coming over to her, she smiled brightly, hugging her sketch pad to herself once more, and waving to him.

Kieran smiled as he saw Tabi wave, and nodded in her direction. But his eyes caught the image of a half naked man walking away from her direction and his eyes narrowed slightly, his fingers slightly curled. He the frick was he? What did he want? Kieran walked over to Tabi and sat down next to her. "Hey kiddo,"Kieran said ruffling her hair then poking her side playfully"Making new friends already huh? "

Pleased, Tabitha smiled, giggling as he poked her side, and shifting her sketch pad, but then frowned a little at his question. Had she done something wrong? She didn't think so..."Yeah. He approched and apparently lost his pants long the way" She said, smiling again and shrugging "He was nice"

Kieran laughed and poked her again. "Why am I not suprised your first new friend, besides myself who is amazing, is a man who lost his pants. Just......if he asks for your help in removing even less clothing please dont oblige him. He.....has ulterior motives."

"He's a stripper" Tabitha said innocently, looking up at him, "I think he can take his clothes off just fine" She frowned at his comment bout ulterior motives "but...how do you know she has ulterior motives?" She asked, worriedly, wondering if she had missed something, "He seems nice..."
g
"I am sure he is. So dont worry, forget I said anything," Kieran said giving it his best smile."I am glad you made a friend, so did you do any drawings? I hoped my talk with Caity over there gave you enough time to draw." Kieran wasnt going to pop her bubble, if she didnt understand then it was ok. He didnt want to make her less happy by putting his adult thoughts in her head.

Tabithaa frowned, a little put out, wondering what she had done wrong, she returned his smile, a little unnerved, and confused. "Yeah, I did" She said, flicking her sketch pad open to the image of Caity, "Um. What do you think?" She sked, trying not to feel like she was asking for his approval, but...wanting it. She glanced up, then away.

Kieran looked at the drawing. He gently held the sketch in hand, taking a closer look. He looked at Tabi, then at the drawing, then at Tabi. He handed it back to Tabi, then knelt in front of her. "Tabi.....this picture........" Using his army given strength, he suddenly reached forward, picked up Tabi, and slung her over his shoulder. He then spun her around a few times before setting her down smiling and laughing. "That is an awesome drawing Tabi! Almost as good as the one you made of me."

Tabitha blinked s he picked her up, spinning around, a little taken about, but soon she was wriggling and giggling, she smiled brightly "Thanks" She said "I like it. She's pretty, and maybe she'll like the picture' She said hopefully, looking to him.

Kieran settled down, then laid down with his head resting against her thigh. "Yea I am sure she would, but you should really collect your drawings for yourself so one day when your living in your own amazing home you can hang up all your drawings." Kieran smiled and looked at Tabi in the eyes, basically upside down. "I mean if I was there I would think that was be an awesome design."

Tabitha blinked, and looked down at her drawing, a little thoughtful. "But...if it makes people happy, why shouldn't I let them have the drawings of them? I'd much rather they'd bring happiness to someone...then be sitting around doing nothing" She said, looking down at him, and smiled sweetly, "And I can always draw more of them. Did you want yours?" she asked hopefully

Kieran mulled the idea over in his head for a few moments, then took his phone out and opened to his photos. He pulled up photo of the drawing that she sketched of him, and showed it to her. "I have a photo of it, and its awesome. I kinda want you to keep tit, so you can always have a photo of me to remember me by. Plus I mean.....the doctor says you should always have a daily dose of Kierans face. Its healthy." Kieran nodded and looked as serious but playful as he could.

Tabitha smiled, trying really hard not to bounce, and falling somewhat. She looked at the photo, immensely pleased and smiled brightly, "Good, because I wanted to keep it" She said cheerfully, and giggled, wanting to move "Well, if its the doctors orders..." she said with amusement, "I'll draw you another one later, if you want one" she said hopefully, looking down at him

"Deal,"Kieran said yawning. He actually was kind of tired at the moment. "I have had to interact with more people today than usual. I wanna sleep!"

Tabitha giggled, and said "Well, you could continue to rest on me, but I might jump about a bit" She said quite innocently, looking down at him.

Kieran nestled comfortably against Tabi's leg, closed his eyes, and quickly feel asleep smiling.

Tabitha blinked, and watching him a moment, trying to stay as still as she possibly could, but it didn't last long, and she shifted just slightly, to grab her sketch pad, and twisted just enough to be able to draw without disturbing Kieran, although she was very tempted to poke him as he had her. She resisted, though.

Tachi

Tachi started making his way to his house and inhaled. The day was quite nice. He laid a hand on the door and inhaled before opening it. Then his eyes widened. Inside was amazing. Asian feeling and yet comfy. He turned and looked outside to see a a small tea house. He smiled and shook his head seeing all the paintings on the walls of cherry blossoms and cranes and the like. He slid a pocket door to the bedroom and that was a different story. there was a large circular bed that took up a lot of space with two closets on either side. One he knew contained kimonos and casual clothes while the other....contained his more work attire. A chuckle escaped him and before he finished exploring he quickly changed into regular clothes. The purple t shirt somehow accenting his skin tone hair and eyes nicely along with a pair of relatively tight levis....and regular underwear.

He paused and pulled the picture out as he wandered back out of the bedroom. Now bare feet barely making any noise as he walked. He stopped and found the perfect spot and a bamboo picture frame. He lightly put it into the frame and hung it. Pausing he saw a small sitting area with a hammock bench outlooking the outside and chuckled again before walking through the bedroom to the bathroom. The bathroom had more natural elements. Wood surrounding a steam room and a shower. Bowl sinks and a the toliet tucked into its own room for privacy. The real stunner of the room though was the Hammock Bathtub. It overlooked a different part of the outside and had glass that the person inside could see out of but no one outside could see in.

He shook his head and grinned. It was perfect. Tachi lightly wandered back to the bedroom and then paused. There was a door he missed. He gently pushed it open and rubbed his face. Inside was a pair of long ribbons meant for Aerial dancing. It was an odd layout, but the house nailed it. He knew if he went into that tea house that it would be everything he wanted. He walked out of there and found a sitting area. He paused seeing a letter on the table. He lightly opened it and then with anger tore it up. He stood anger vibrating off of him and walked out of the house. How dare they fake that. They would never write that. they did not even want me He stood outside the house his phone in his pocket just in case and his emotions running rampant. A hand through his hair as he slowly slid down the door into a sitting position and buried his face in his arms for a moment.

Nico and Caity

Collaboration of: @Kyrisse and @Light the Dark

Finally, the glitter-dust settled. Caity's mind seemed clearer than it had for a while - ever since the two dancing fairies had appeared in the clearing in the first place. She looked around, rubbing her eyes to rid them of any remaining glitter. She was sure she was supposed to be doing something...

"Fuck." Her eyes searched for Nico. She had to make sure he hadn't drank any coffee. At least until they knew they wouldn't be trapped here forever if they ate or drank anything.

Finally she found him, on the other side of the clearing. Was that a cup of coffee in his hand? "Fuck fuck fuck."

Caity trotted over to him. "For the love of god, tell me you did not drink any coffee."

Nico looked a little distracted. He thought the dancing fairies were fascinating but he wondered what the dust was. He began feeling as if he needed...wanted to talk to someone... He looked around to find out who it was he wanted to talk to and noticed Caity walking towards him. He raised an eyebrow at her and then looked at the half empty coffee cup in his hand. "Yeah, I did, actually. What? You didn't have any coffee in your house?" he gestured to the door behind him. "I've got a whole pot in there. I'll share if you want some."

Caity clasped her hand to her forehead. She hadn't gotten here in time, damn it. "Thanks, but no. No, I did, along with an abundance of books, but... not the point." How to say it? She was going to sound so stupid. "Think, for a moment, that this isn't a prank by... Howl? Or we haven't all gone crazy. If this is real. I don't know if you read many myths and fairy tales. But the fare folk - fairies, or maybe elves - if you eat or drink food from them... you... stay with them."

"Howell," Nico corrected. "And no... by now, I'm pretty convinced that this isn't a prank. There's no way in the world for Howell to know what design I want for my house," he looked again at the dark liquid in his cup. "I know all that stuff. Never accept a Faerie gift. Do not eat Faerie Food or drink Faerie wine," he enumerated. "The way I see it, we've been brought here for something. That's why they're giving us things...so that we'll cooperate. That makes us even, don't you think? Of course, there's a big chance that I could be wrong. Either way, I don't really know if we'll ever get back to our realities. We've been given houses that fits our needs and wants. By stepping into the houses, we've already accepted a gift. That alone is enough for them to keep us here. So, I figured, drinking the coffee won't make it any worse than it already is." He looked over her shoulder, still trying to figure out why he had such a strange feeling. Who was it that he wanted to talk to?

"Right. Accepting gifts is on that list too." She had forgotten that. Caity let her head fall back, looking up at the sky with a groan. "So much for warning you. So much for remembering the thing about the Faerie gifts. And here I thought I was well read."

Well, she was well read. It was remembering what she read which was the problem. Caity looked back at Nico - he seemed occupied. "Well, I'll let you go. Apparently there is some big fancy ball tonight that I am going to try and not attend. Though that's also where things are supposed to made clear. Damn it. I'm going to have to go if I want answers."

Nico turned his attention back to Caity, feeling it rude not to give her his full attention. "Sorry about... Anyway, yeah, I suppose everything will be made clear later. Why don't you want to attend? Don't you like dances?"

Caity laughed. "The last dance I attended was Prom. At the request of my mother and friends. I really don't think that quite qualifies." She'd much rather be staying at home with a book. She liked dressing up though, on occasion.

She glanced at him again with raised brows. "You must attend a lot of dances. Or fancy parties, which probably aren't the same. Do you like them, or are they just part of the job?"

Even as they were talking, she could smell his cup of coffee. Her mouth watered. If they were in trouble anyway, coffee wouldn't hurt. No more than accepting and loving a house full of books would. Caity didn't even notice herself staring at the cup of coffee in Nico's hands as she finished speaking.

Nico shrugged. "There are parties that are fun and parties that are... well... compulsory," he answered and followed Caity's eyes towards his coffee cup. "I'd offer you my cup but then it'd probably be strange for you to be drinking from a stranger's cup. If you want, I can pour you a cup..." he furrowed his brows, trying to remember what he was supposed to do.

"What? Oh..." Caity blushed and tugged at her ear. "Was I that obvious?" She paused, then added, "Honestly, though, you're less strange then everyone else around here. And the fairies... I mean, I've known you for what... Two whole hours? We're practically best friends."

"But yes. I would love a cup of coffee. Maybe get out of some of this weirdness for a while."

Nico glanced towards the group of people chatting with each other. One had already fallen asleep on the pink haired woman's lap. Figuring that no one would miss him anyway and that maybe going into the house for a while would clear the confusion from his head, he nodded. "Well, your house or my house?" he asked, a telltale grin on his face.

While Kieran slept, Tabitha immersed herself in drawing, but something was nagging at her. Something Kieran had said. "He.....has ulterior motives." She was bothered by that. Why would Tachi, who had been so incrediably nice to her, have ulterior motives? Why would Kieran thing something like that, unless....he liked her, too? She mulled that over for a time, as she carefully filled in some details of the sketch she was drawing, unaware that she was drawing Tachi and Kieran together. That didn't make her his property, did it? She was just so confused...she was to be married...so was he...so was Tachi...

Her mind suddenly seized on that, realisation coming to her in a great rush. That was too much of a coincidence, wasn't it? Three of them, having arranged marriages? It seemed rather....a lot. She glanced about her, wondering if everyone else there had been arranged, and if maybe that was how the faires had chosen them. Arranged marriages...they aren't goign to pair us off, are they? She wodnered thoughtfully to herself, as she looked down to Kieran. She wondered briefly if somewhere along the line, somehow, she was actually arranged to one of the guys. That was a strange thought.

Maybe she wouldn't be so strange compared to this. A little concerned with that thought, Tabitha returned to her drawing, thinking that maybe she needed to have a little talk with Kieran. She couldn't go around thinking she might set him off if she interacted with another guy. And she...she couldn't go around having him think she wanted something, not when she believed in marriage. But if they weren't able to go back....maybe she could have a little taste of life, at its fullest extent? Biting her lip, Tabitha sighed softly, her thoughts leading her into a funk, and as they continued to twirl around and around in her mind, she shuddered, hunking down, she tried to appear smaller then she was, as if to singal that she didn't want to talk with anyone, despite the sleeping guys head in her lap. She hugged herself, setting her gear aside.

Just what had Kieran meant by that?

Her gaze went around her, landing on Tachi, his face in his arms, and her heart went out to him, he seemed to be suffering so. She bit her lip again, and shifting got out her phone, managing to do so with miminal movement. Her gaze flickered to Kieran again, but she couldn't let herself be controlled....she didn't want to doubt Tachi...he had been such a good friend to her. She flicked Tachi a message.

Hey, Thong guy! Just kidding, Tachi, are you okay?

Once it sent, she set her phone aside, and looked down at Kieran. He was certainly a fine speciment, and...even with his recent...possisiveness of her, she liked him. She didn't know if anything was going to happen, if it could happen, with anyone, but....spending it with a guy who didn't think she was that odd was...nice.

She could be friends with both of them, couldn't she?

Biting her lip again,Tabitha returned to her drawing, soon immersed in it once more.

Tachi

Tachi felt his thoughts swirling and mixing his emotions. He inhaled and shut his eyes. of all the things... a sound from his phone shook him out of it and he took it out. A choked laugh escaped him and he found himself smiling slightly. He looked up and spotted that bright pink hair. He shook his head and read the text once more.

Tachi looked up again and spotted the guy sleeping in her lap. A brow raised and he found himself wondering who that guy was. He brought his phone up and hesitated before starting to text. His topaz eyes filled with humor, but shaded by the anger he still had....anger and sadness.

Hey art ninja. I'm...I'm okay. You appear to have a sleeping dude on you if you were not aware of that. Do you need rescue? :P

He hit send and his eyes trailed back to her waiting for the response. A light hearted smile on his face and curiosity as to what she was drawing.

a catch-up post for...
Caterina Versini

One moment she had been drinking her non-fat, 2 splenda, vanilla latte and scrolling through her phone. The next, the world had shimmered away around her. Her latte fell from her hands as Angie's melted away, being replaced by a forest and...fairies?

This must be some sort of joke.

At least she wasn't alone - about ten others appeared in the forest as she did. More than one vomited. Caterina wrinkled her nose in disgust. That was something she hadn't wanted to see or hear. She turned her eyes to her phone, ignoring the commotion around her. The other people could freak out and do nothing to change the situation. She was going to see what was going on.

Scrolling through her contacts, the first person Caterina decided to call was her agent. If anyone had approved this joke, it would be him. She pressed the image next to his name, and held the phone up to her ear.

A computerized voice crackled through the speaker. "We're sorry. The number you want to reach is out of your service area. Please try again later." And then - so faintly Caterina knew she must have imagined it - there was a giggle before the recording cut off.

She pushed her chocolate hair away from her face. Something was obviously wrong with her Agent's phone. Thalia it was then - her personal assistant had to know what was going on. (That Thalia hadn't told her to expect this was grounds for her to be fired, but Caterina wouldn't do that until she was home.) But dialing her assistant's number gave her the same recording - and now she was certain there was a giggle at the end of it.

Home, her mother's cell, her father's cell, her brother - all were met with that same message.

Caterina wasn't impressed. Any other feelings - like nervousness - were pushed to the side. She had engagements and work that she had committed to. Whoever thought they could just whisk her away like some unimportant nobody was going to get an earful.

She shoved her phone in her pocket. Time to find out who was in charge.

Her caramel eyes swept over the other humans. There were people she knew - or knew of - but then there were others... Hmph. She looked around again. Well, Nicolas was here. That was...something. Of course, he was currently talking to some purple-haired plus-size woman in cheap clothing. Why he would even bother was beyond her. She'd have to ask him later.

For now, however... She walked up to one of the fairies. Caterina wanted answers.

Before Caity could answer Nico's question, the movie star caught a glimpse of the black haired woman he had apparently appeared with in the fairy world. He immediately felt a pull towards her. "Hold that thought for a while, will you? I'll just talk to this girl..." Nico murmured and absentmindedly patted Caity's shoulder as he walked past her and towards the woman he had his eyes on. She was beautiful and... strangely barefoot.

He headed straight for her, ignoring the rest who were either standing around or conversing with each other. "Hi," he grinned at her, automatically shifting into his movie star personality. "You probably know me from the movies... I'm Nico...Nico Jensen. And you are?" he extended his hand to her.

Mika was minding her own business when someone approached her, and as she watched him approach she felt this curious pull towards him. She waited until he introduced himself and even then it took her a second to figure out how to respond to that.
"Ah no, can't say I've heard of you. I'm Mika, though, Mika LeQuire." Mika accepted his hand, shaking it with a firm handshake.
"I don't really watch movies...ever. I don't have the time so movie stars aren't really my...thing." Mika finished lamely, not quite knowing how to respond to that introduction. She retracted her hand, crossing them over her stomach.

It was the first time Nico ever came across someone who didn't watch movies and he didn't really know how to react to that. Sure, he always hid his identity to the general public but somehow, this woman not recognizing him bothered him. Or was it just an excuse? Did she want to get rid of him so bad that she had to come out with a lame excuse? Despite the suspicion, he still continued smiling at her, crossing his arms across his chest in response to her posture. "Well, maybe when we get back to the real world, I can take you out to watch your first movie. One of mine, maybe," he suggested. Is she really serious about that? he thought to himself.

Mika raised an eyebrow at his comment. Did he really think so highly of himself?
"Perhaps. I work a full time job and am full time at law school. I don't have a lot of time for things like movies." Mika shrugged, eyeing his mirror of her posture.
"You're mirroring me." She pointed out, trying to figure out why. Was he trying to intimidate her? Was he unconsciously trying to bond with her? Or was he self conscious of her not having seen his movies? She didn't think it was that big of a deal.
"I don't know a date is all that feasible anyways. I live in Minnesota, it's a bit far from Hollywood." Mika could feel how awkward this was getting. It was a shame, such a handsome face.

Wow. This is becoming unpleasant really fast," Nico thought. Law school. The brainy kind. Being a law student, she probably thought herself higher than everyone else. And probably thought talking to him was a waste of time. He would have excused himself and just walked away but something about her was keeping him there. What was it? He can't possibly be attracted to someone like her, could he? She was crabby for someone with such a beautiful face and it was a shame. "Just because I crossed my arms doesn't mean I'm mirroring you. Why would I even do that?" he asked but all the same, dropped his arms to the side.

"Yeah, I'd probably be too busy filming to come see you anyway," If she was only a little bit friendlier, he wouldn't mind driving 29, maybe 30 hours, to see her. Even if he had to drive all the way there several times a week.

"No, the fact that I crossed my arms and then you crossed your arms. Consciously or not, it still looks suspicious." She told him, with a matter of fact tone.
"Even if you weren't copying me, there are very few reasons why someone crosses their arms, none of them makes sense." Mika said, smirking when he dropped his arms. She had no idea why she was so obsessed with this, nor why she couldn't just walk away but for some reason she stayed put. He was self absorbed, which he's an actor it was practically in the job description. She didn't have time to deal with that, not that it was necessarily a bad thing but she was kinda self absorbed as well and two self absorbed people almost never got a long. Not that it even mattered, she's probably never see these people again once she got home.
"Is there a reason you came over here or was it just to make sure everyone knew who you were, just on the off chance they didn't?" Mika asked, a little snottily. She mentally chastised herself on that one, that was too far for someone she just met, even for her.

Nico shook his head, biting back a comment. He usually got along with everyone, even those people that didn't recognize him. And during those rare times, he was usually polite and patient. But the conversation with Mika was a different story. She was unpleasant, snotty, suspicious and probably entitled. And she was slowly but surely getting on his nerves. Just walk away, Jensen, he cautioned himself. It was a good idea really, just walking away. It didn't look like she appreciated meeting him anyway. "I regret having made the effort," he stated flatly. So much for biting it back.

"Trust me, not nearly as much as I do." Mika sneered at him before she turned around on her heel, stalking away angrily.

Nico and Caterina

Collaboration of: @Kyrisse & @Light the Dark

The fairies that were flitting by watched Caterina curiously as she walked towards them. While it looked as if they had so many questions to ask the humans, none really made a move to approach her or converse with her.

Nico shook his head, the effects of the dust between Mika and him finally wearing off. He watched her walk away, wondering what he had done to rile her and why she was so angry at him. He figured he'd probably need to apologize at a later time and maybe ask what it was he did while he was at it. At the same time, he wondered why he was so annoyed with her when his initial thought of her when he came over was how beautiful she was.

He glanced down at the coffee cup that was still in his hand and looking at it, he remembered leaving Caity so abruptly. He inwardly groaned. Way to make yourself look like an ass twice, Jensen. He sighed, vowing to apologize to his purple haired friend too. Maybe even surrender to her his whole pot of coffee as a peace offering. He looked towards his house and his eyes rested on a very familiar person staring up at the fairies. Caterina Versini. Knowing her, she probably wanted to demand that her questions be answered.

"I don't think they have the answers you're looking for, Rina," he called out just as he stopped beside her.

A chill went down Caterina's spine. She waved the small fairy away - it had been too interested in human reproduction in any case - and turned to the actor. She gave him a polite-but-distant smile. "Only my friends are allowed to call me Rina, Nicolas. You made it perfectly clear in the past that we are no longer friends."

After all, even if she knew him, even if it was nice to see a familiar face, there was no sense in letting her guard down. There was part of her that longed to throw herself into his strong arms. Frankly, it was too big of a part. Caterina did not like the way her heart beat faster upon seeing him so close, or how the smell of his cologne brought back memories of his skin against hers. He was just as handsome as ever.

For a moronic ass who broke up with her.

Nico raised an eyebrow. Was he gonna be going through another unpleasant conversation? Not that he expected Caterina to just smile at him and talk like they were the best of friends but... wait. He narrowed his eyes at her. "If memory serves me right, I told you that we're probably better off as friends. And you were the one who screamed at my face at how we can no longer be friends and how you never want to see me again."

"Obviously your memory is off." Caterina said, tossing her hair back. It was the signature Caterina Versini hair flip - the one that had helped her win more modeling gigs than she could count. "And even if it was true, I wasn't about to deal with the tabloids saying you let me down easy. I have a reputation to maintain."

Not that it mattered, because in the end it came out that he had dumped her anyway. She had had to go through three different boy-toys before the tabloids would stop saying she was heartbroken over Nicolas Jensen. Of course, what warm-blooded woman wouldn't be heartbroken over such a handsome man with a voice that could melt glaciers?

And there it was, right there. Caterina always valued her reputation above anything else. She would throw anything and everything away if it threatened her reputation. She also paid close attention to everything ever written about her, including those in the tabloid. That only made her all the more addicted to the preservation of her 'pristine' reputation. He shrugged. "Well, I'll get out of your hair then. Can't have these people see you talking to me, can we?" he gave her a polite smile and excused himself.

Caterina gave him a tight smile, but sauntered after him and draped an arm over his shoulder. Nicolas Jensen was hers. He just didn't know it yet. She'd bring him back, have him begging for her favor again. "Yes, we wouldn't want your new...friend...to get jealous, would we? It's a pity, she must be so insecure speaking to a big movie star like yourself. Or is she fawning all over you? I thought you hated that. It's why we still walk the same circles."

Nico raised an eyebrow when Caterina caught up and draped her arm on his shoulder. "She's actually a cool girl and I'd probably enjoy hanging out with her," he looked towards his house and when he didn't see Caity there, he automatically looked towards her house. He smiled when he spotted her standing by her door and then reached up to remove Caterina's arm off his shoulder. "The last time I checked, people who aren't friends aren't this touchy with each other, Caterina," he shot back, gave her another polite smile before he headed towards the librarian.

"When you find out she's only using you for your money or status, don't say I didn't warn you Nicolas." Caterina called after him. "People like us are better off with others of our status."

Nico ignored what the supermodel said. "Hey, Caity. Let's get that coffee," he called out as held up the cup he was still holding. "Mine's gotten cold."
