You could say that it was Anabel's first time to Alola, if you did not count that she literally fell from an ultra dimensional wormhole and ended up on one of Alola's islands ten years ago. Not that she was actually aware of the fact, or at least her subordinate Looker assumed that she did not know, if only he would give his superior more credit. Despite being in her early twenties and definitely not as many Interpol missions as Looker, she was indeed bright and able to work her way out of troubling situations, not to mention that those years of training were not just for nothing either.
Anabel was fixing her tie in the mirror of the motel bathroom where she and Looker were stationed, while it was not a five star resort... The bathroom seemed to be cleaned regularly, thankfully for her sanity. After tying her hair up in a ponytail and slipping on her black gloves, she exited the bathroom, looking prim and orderly as usual.
"Mr. Looker." She addressed her subordinate with a curt nod. "Everything well?"
Looker quickly saluted her, "Yes ma'am! Just waiting for one of the witnesses to come share their findings with us."
Anabel hummed, "Her name is Mina... Correct?" She asked, thinking back to the case file. "An artist and trial captain in Alola... Apparently she was painting a landscape when she accidentally managed to record two UBs." She had to admit, that was a feat in its own right considering there were really no known records of these extra-dimensional beings.
Looker nodded, "Indeed. Hopefully we can learn a few more details about their habits."
Anabel frowned slightly, while they were living things and she did sympathize with these creatures, she couldn't shake the rooted fear of them due to her training as an International Police Officer. Ultra Beasts were dangerous and highly aggressive, one wrong move could end up being her last.
Anabel gasped slightly as she was broken from her thoughts as the door creaked open. "I suppose you must be Mina, correct?"
