Since there are limited spots with lots of interest, I have a question, or, well, several. I assume we'll be on a ship of sorts as our base of operations, so I assume we'll need a pilot and medics.
If that's the case, would you be against one of us making something like a medic or the ship's pilot? Kind of like a secondary character or crewmate who didn't go on missions, but you could talk to and interact with? I wouldn't mind making someone who usually stays in engineering or the medbay if it gives other people a spot to participate more frequently.

If not, I'll just stick with what I have planned. But it would be cool if you made spots for things like that, that way everyone who makes an app could still potentially participate, even if it wasn't what they originally wanted by making someone like an engineer or pilot or doctor for the crew. Maybe an informant or shuttle driver.

I have an idea for a Turian Character.
My idea is that he was on earth during the final attack on the reapers and he barely survived the whole ordeal, losing an arm in the process. So after the war, he stayed on earth to recover from his injuries and while there he was forced to watch westerns by some humans friends. At first he hated it and found the idea of vigilante justice silly and irresponsible, but the more he watched, the more invested he was in it and eventrully got obsessed with the old west idea's of justice. Do the right thing, no matter what. He started to take inspiration of Western inspired outfits and motifs, he even started to insert old western lingo in his everyday conversations, sometimes using them improperly, but damn doesn't it sound cool.

Basically he's a cowboy LARPing Turian with a dry sense of humor and a strong sense of justice with little regards for rules and safety. Perfect for working with spectres!

@MechonRaptor That might work, I don't have the final word however. It would be neat to have crew members in addition to squadmates. Let's just say that the Task Force will have a command center of some sort and support roles could be filled.

Thanks, and it's only an idea so far, I have a few in mind, and I can use the one I feel we need for the RP as well as work for the setting. I also have a rough and tumble Asari Commander with a love for combat and general blood shed. A fainthearted but ingenious Quarian Engineer that may or may not just be a crew member of the ship depending on what roles we need~

If you guys do decide on something like having crew members or support roles, I'll gladly take up one of those positions instead of trying to take up a squadmate position. I always did like how some of your team never came with you on missions, but you could still form a bond with them, you know? Sure, it would mean those who did become crew members probably wouldn't get as much of the spotlight when missions occurred, but there could be interesting twists of their own at the base. And if there aren't, at least they'd be good support from the sides.

@MrDidact I had an idea for a vorcha character. One that was raised away from its violent home planet and capable of cooperating with the other members of the squad due to this fact. In lore, it's been done before. I rarely do antithesis characters, but I think something like a level headed and diplomatic vorcha would be particularly interesting.
