Premise
"The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they become something more. See if they can work together when we needed them to. To fight the battles that we never could."
June 20th, 2016. We thought that we faced our deadliest foe that day. Walter Hanson, a disillusioned witch, rose Lucifer from Hell in order to bring about the end of days. Ordinary citizens and skilled hunters fought against the devil, with only a handful managing to live to tell the tale. The rest were buried in Owen's Field, if they were lucky enough to have their bodies found. The blood soaked into the ground, creating a permanent scar on the face of the Earth.
How foolish we were to think that it was all behind us.
As O.M.E.N. (the Organization for the Methodical Eradication of Necromantics) chased Hanson across the country, something ancient began to stir. Hel, the Norse Goddess of Death, was imprisoned by the Judeo-Christian deities ages ago. With the demon Mephistopheles seeking revenge against those who killed his master, Lucifer, Hel persuaded the demon to join forces with her. Their plan was simple: kill those who would oppose them and from the ashes of this world, build a better one.
Mephistopheles began to kill survivors of the Altsoba Massacre, those who had opposed Lucifer, such as Trevor Martin. He murdered the leaders of O.M.E.N. in such a fashion that would draw the most qualified hunters to Coventry, Massachusetts. It was a trap intended to slaughter them - and for the most part, it succeeded. Less than five of those who opposed Lucifer are still alive - that we know of.
Yet Hel triumphed as well. Mephistopheles imprisoned a kumakatok, preventing the kumaktok from doing what it must. These death spirits must always perform their function - there is no alternative. For a kumakatok to not manage their duties...it is a paradox, a cruel reversion of reality. It ripped holes into reality, scattering innocent victims across time and space, and released a Mullo. More importantly, it destroyed the cage that housed Hel, as her cage was made out of the fabric of reality.
Now free, Hel has already begun to slaughter the brave souls who stand against her. With the wolf Fenrir and the traitor Aloise Zamora by her side, all she needs is to acquire her cloak, banihylja. Her cloak will increase her powers exponentially, leaving humanity with the choice of kneeling to Hel or dying at her feet.
Will you stand against Hel? Or will you bow to the Goddess of Death? A team of remarkable individuals has been assembled in order to stop her. This odd company, including hunters, nephilim, fallen angels, and former Kings of Hell, is all that stands in Hel's way. The fate of the Earth rests in their hands. No, I am mistaken...

Project S.P.I.T.F.I.R.E.
Project S.P.I.T.F.I.R.E. was one of O.M.E.N.'s first initiatives once they became a legitimate government agency. Its goal was to create shelters in each state to allow high ranking government officials to survive a potential necromantic attack. There was talk of creating public shelters but...bureaucracy. Construction had been completed on three bunkers: one in New Mexico, one in Pennsylvania, and one in Texas, until Project S.P.I.T.F.I.R.E. was shut down and replaced with a new initiative.
Thanks to the presence of several O.M.E.N. operatives and an MI13 agent, these bunkers are yours to use. They are fully stocked with a six months supply of food, weapons for 20 field agents, and housing for thirty two. Anti-magic, anti-demon, and anti-angel sigils are permanent fixtures on the walls of the bunkers. For a necromantic to enter the facility, they must use the prisoner entrance. This entrance is the only one where the sigils should ever be removed. Once the necromatic is inside, the sigils must be restored.
These most impressive feature of these complexes, believe it or not, would be their libraries. These libraries contain original copies of important supernatural texts. Knowledge is power, and while we have not fought Hel before, perhaps there are some clues to be found amongst those old books. They're real page turners, after all...

Lore of the Necromantics

According to O.M.E.N., a being with supernatural and inhuman capabilities is called a necromantic. This can range from enhanced humans, such as Steve Rogers, all the way to the most darkest and complex of creatures, such as Azrael, the Angel of Death. And while this term is used in most government documents, there are other terms that are more specific and demonstrate improved understanding of the situation. The universe is a strange one, one that we can hardly understand.
In 2016, any and all powers and abilities were simply referred to as deviances. If someone was perhaps a little odd, in that they could see things that others could not, perhaps that they could heal with a single touch, or that they were immune to flames, they were said to have a deviance. Years after the Altsoba Massacre, this definition would be revoked and revised, as we will realize that it is simply more complicated than that.
Deviances refer to (often) extraordinary abilities that distinguish someone from the average human. While these can be small things, such as a sixth sense when it comes to healing and knowing what is wrong with the patient, it can be as dramatic as pyrokinesis. There is currently no method of explaining why some people gain a deviance and others do not, however.
Creatures
We are not alone in this world by any means. The creatures included here are those encountered thus far in the Abandoned Hope Universe, either directly or by simply mentioning them. As you'll notice, not all of them have complete information. Those indicated by an asterisk are ones that only those with extensive knowledge of necromantics (creatures, in this case) will be aware of. Some of those included below have more details than others. All that means is there is more to learn and discover in future roleplays~
Angels:*
Highest order immortal.
They require their host's permission for possession.
To fall, an angel must rip out their grace, an incredibly painful process.
Fallen angels are reborn as humans, yet are still able to hear the thoughts of angels around them. This is sometimes called 'angel radio.'
Angels are capable of astral projection and can appear in dreams.
They can manipulate electrical appliances, often destroying them when they appear.
Angels can find any human, provided said human does not have protective sigils.
They are capable of reality warping, telekinesis, telepathy, flight, voice mimicry, protective charms, pyrokinesis, healing, and terrakinesis.
Angels can smite almost any being with a simple touch.
They are sensitive to distortions in time.
Powerful angels are capable of biokinesis, memory manipulation, soul reading, power negation, hypnotism, and the use of a holy white light that serves as an energy blast.
Holy Fire will kill an angel, though it will only banish an archangel.
Hexbags and sigils can be used to prevent angels from tracking/finding a particular person.
The anti-christ can destroy an angel.
An angel blade can kill an angel. Only an archangel's blade can kill an archangel.
Archangels:*
Some of the first born angels, there are a limited number of them.
They are advanced immortals.
Each archangel has a specific purpose, a role to play in the cosmic scene.
Archangels are tasked with protecting Prophets of the Lord.
Known archangels include Sariel, the Archangel of Guidance, and Lucifer, the Morning Star.
Similarly to angels, archangels also must have permission in order to possess an individual.
Archangels have all of the abilities of angels.
Archangels are also capable of thermokinesis, electrokinesis, molecular combustion, shapeshifting, weather manipulation, terrakinesis, and mental manipulation.
Archangels have the same weaknesses as angels.
Death:*
An immortal being, ranking on the highest order of mortality.
Also referred to as the angel Azrael.
Death has the same weaknesses and abilities as other angels, in addition to wielding a powerful scythe capable of killing any being, even Death itself.
Demons:
Highest order immortal.
Devil's Trap: prevents a demon from leaving
Holy Water: burns demons
Exorcism: There are several differently styles of this, but all of them remove the demon from the host. Some will send the demon to hell, others will force the demon to manifest itself so it can be killed or sent to hell permanently.
Flesh Sigil: If a sigil is carved into the host's flesh, the demon will be powerless
Ghosts: Ghosts can remove a demon from its host
Hallowed Ground: Some demons are unable to enter hallowed ground, such as churches. These tend to be the weaker ones.
Hex Bags: these can hide people from a demon
Holy Fire: Holy oil lit on fire, it roasts a demon.
Iron: Demons cannot cross an iron barrier or touch iron without extreme pain
Palo Santo: Stab the demon with this, the host smokes and the demon cannot move
Damaging the host may force the demon to choose a new host, or be slowed down
Purified Blood: This, when injected into a demon, is incredibly painful.
Salt: Demons cannot step over salt, pass a salt line, or touch salt. Touching salt results in (you guessed it) extreme pain.
Demons can be cured through the Demon Purification Ritual.
Demons can be killed by angel blades.
Demons will flinch and have their eyes turn black when the name of the Lord is spoken.
Kumakatok:*
Children of Azrael, the Angel of Death.
Removal of a kumakatok's cloak will stun it, and if prolonged, kill it.
True death of a kumakatok requires burning of the cloak and will rip a permanent hole in the fabric of reality.
Unless the cloak has been burned, the kumakatok will be reincarnated in another form. If the cloak has been burned, Azrael must create a new kumakatok.
Kumakatok knock on the door of a person fated to die one day before.
Vulnerable to iron and salt.
There must always be three - two old men and one young girl.
Pagan Deities:*
Immortal.
Weaknesses depend on the specific deity, as each of them can be killed by various rituals.
The ability to use magic, as well as increased stamina and strength and invulnerability, are considered standard.
Reapers:*
They have the same capabilities and weaknesses as angel.
Reapers can restore life to an individual and similarly, take life.
Through magical means, they can become bound and enslaved.
They can kill with a single touch.
They are capable of chronokinesis.
Witches:
Near immortal--extremely long lifespan.
Witches can be taken down with iron.
They require hex bags or DNA to complete their long, complicated rituals.
There are three types of witches
Borrowers: They have sold their souls to the devil in exchange for powers.
Naturals: They are born with the ability to create and use magic.
Students: Through years of hard practice and training, they are able to manipulate magic and cast spells.
Natural witches are capable of feats known as the Seven Wonders.
Telekinesis - this is the most common and easily accomplished one.
Concilium - also known as coercion or mind control.
Pyrokinesis
Divination
Transmutation - also known as teleportation and not to be confused with transfiguration.
Vitalum Vitalis - the giving or draining of life
Descensum - the ability to project one's spirit into hell
Natural witches also have the potential for an innate and special power unique to them since birth.

Must IC post once every 7 days (It is your job to keep up with when you need to post. Your last post hits Day 8 and I remove you from the RP.)

If you need additional time to post you must notify the Gm by day 5 of your counter. Extensions will not be granted after that.

There is no additional time granted due to forum glitches unless the forum is fully down. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two
Collabs may not be started after your day 5 counter
If you are collabing and your partner vanishes or does not reply, you must finish the collab and post it before the timer runs out
If your collab partner vanishes you are granted temporary minimal bunnying privileges to complete the collab
If your collab partner vanishes, you need to make the Gm aware so it does not count against you

Please do not take advantage of this, and keep things realistic. The increased number of skills is designed to accommodate for knowledge gained since the Altsoba massacre, in order to prepare you for dealing with necromantics. Any deviances you have will also take up a skill slot, so please keep that in mind.
If you participated in Abandoned Hope, you'll be granted a reward for your character sheet upon joining. This might be a connection to an NPC, a clue, an extra skill, etc... I'll be rolling a dice to determine what happens there. Characters who were used in Abandoned Hope will need to keep all skills they had there, but there should be plenty of room for you to expand their skills as well ^_~

This RP is inspired by Rocky Horror Picture Show, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, American Horror Story, Supernatural, and Good Omens. However, any lore mentioned in the RP is the lore that exists. If you're interested as to how something might fit in, great. Send me a PM. But do not decide for yourself that it has to exist and add it in.

Spirits rose from their graves, plagues spread across the land, and natural disasters brought the strongest to their knees. But that is not the memory that lives on, no. Those who sacrificed themselves for the survival of humanity are forgotten by most all, deemed a part of the tragedy of the Altsoba massacre. The small town, the epicenter of the apocalypse, is remembered as nothing more than a troubling combination of religious paranoia and hallucinogens.

The Altsoba massacre was covered up by O.M.E.N., the Organization for the Methodical Eradication of Necromantics. Necromantics. Just another word for the undead that walk among us, for the witches who cast spell over our lives, and the creatures that rob us of humanity. O.M.E.N. has been running covert missions to exterminate the remaining necromantics, and they show no mercy. The innocent and the guilty are killed all the same. There are no grey areas.
Two months ago, on Halloween--the universe loves ironies--the leaders of O.M.E.N. vanished without a trace. A well thumbed book is all that remained, covered in what forensic experts later determined to be the blood of the two missing men. The book was Coventry by Frederick Taylor, detailing that disturbing fable. The legend ran that England knew that the Nazis would plan Coventry, and rather than tip their hand, they allowed it to happen.
But that's just a story. And our story begins in a different Coventry--one located just twenty miles out from Salem, the site where so many young witches bled. A town with constantly evolving bloodshed, it is marked by betrayal, just as Altsoba before it was marked by death. Sal Aldrich, the owner of Coventry Horrors, a themed hotel, has been found dead. Hanged, even. The police recovered a note, their only indication that it wasn't a suicide. They were coordinates. And when the police went to the location, they found the bodies of O.M.E.N.'s leaders.
Sal wasn't the only death. More followed, each with a more disturbing note than the last. Sal's daughter, Andromeda, took over management of the hotel during the investigation. Experts on necromantics have been looking into Coventry with apprehension, only increasing when Fiodora, a performer with a traveling circus, was found dead. But there were not coordinates with her body. There was a note, penned in the same bloodied ink.

Families tend to rent rooms on this floor. The room is playful in nature, with two queen beds. There's a small ensuite, but it's nothing special. Kids love it though, and its cheap price makes it affordable for the modern family!

One of Lucifer's best followers, he pushed Daniyal Lohi, back in Altsoba, to break the first seal on Lucifer's cage. And with the devil dead and forgotten, it appears that he's out for revenge. But why here? Why in Coventry? And what's the curse placed on this town?

Seraphina, Detective Hanson, and Liam were all murdered by someone they trusted. They were all betrayed, gunned down by O.M.E.N., an organization that claims to fight the forces of evil in order to do some good. The others were lead to a trap at the circus, narrowly killing Mephistopheles to save their own lives, after thoroughly and utterly breaking time.
But even with Mephistopheles dead, all is not well in Coventry. The demon was not working alone. He lured everyone to the circus for a reason - he chose his victims for a reason. Those reasons may just cost you your life, the likelihood increasing the longer you are ignorant of them.

Below is the character sheet required for the RP. Those of you from Abandoned Hope will notice that I've been generous when it comes to the amount of skills you can have. Please do not take advantage of this, and keep things realistic. The increased number of skills is designed to accommodate for knowledge gained since the Altsoba massacre, in order to prepare you for dealing with necromantics. Any deviances you have will also take up a skill slot, so please keep that in mind.
If you participated in Abandoned Hope, you'll be granted a reward for your character sheet upon joining. This might be a connection to an NPC, a clue, an extra skill, etc... I'll be rolling a dice to determine what happens there. Characters who were used in Abandoned Hope will need to keep all skills they had there, but there should be plenty of room for you to expand their skills as well ^_~

Sixth Sense Seraphina has an eerie awareness of the Supernatural, spotting what others might not take a second glance at.
First Necromantic Encounter: During the Altsoba Massacre Seraphina was about to enter the town after following the voices in her head there. There she met a woman named Sylvia who at the time she thought was a normal person, she was actually a witch. While the two of them talked outside of the town for a bit near the large pile of dead bodies, she saw a little boy there, who was the antichrist. But she didn't follow after who she thought was a little boy into the woods, thinking it was to dangerous to even follow him.
The two of them entered the town where Sera bumped into another woman named Katsumi who was fighting a person who had been risen from the grave, she lost her handgun there and the three of them were shot. Sylvia and Katsumi sadly weren't as lucky and died from their wounds, eventually she bumped into the man named Trevor and then headed to the Altsoba Church. Luckily there was a doctor and the bullet was extracted, then sometime later Lucifer himself possessed Amy Chang the woman who extracted the bullet from her shoulder. Seraphina and who else ran out of the church and then two others came in, one of them died killing Amy Chang/The Devil while the other went in for the kill stopping the apocalypse.
Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Seraphina was once an angel actually, however she was cast out due to her disobeying the others. She was sent to Earth and reborn as a human, however she does not remember any of this Sera's mother was a simple waitress while her father worked at a hotel as a receptionist. Growing up Sera lived a fairly normal life, though she has always heard these voices however she has never once admitted it to anyone. Throughout high school Sera was always there helping out with her friends with their problems, that's when she decided that she wanted to become a police officer. After she graduated from high school Sera went to college and studied law there, and after that she applied for the police academy in New York City which she graduated from.
Sera was on patrol one day that is when there was a robbery at a convince store she was asked to go there, she did and the man ended up opening fire on her. Seraphina managed to shoot him as well, but she was shot herself she ended up losing consciousness and woke up at the hospital a day later. Since that encounter she decided to leave the force, though she still wanted to help people so she ended up becoming a private investigator taking on cases from simple unfaithful spouses to doing somethings for lawyers in their cases or the occasional serving some court papers.
Then she started to hear the voices more then she did, as strange news stories started to happen across the world she did her best to try and ignore them. Until she just couldn't stand it anymore, she took her keys and decided to head out to Altsoba to find out what was exactly going on there. She spent the next week or so driving across the country to Altsoba to find out what was exactly going on there.
Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Life after the Altsoba Massacre Seraphina before was working with a PI agency before deciding to open her own in the Manhattan area of the city, using her own apartment as her office. After finishing up a case Sera was locking up her apartment, to her surprise she found a street kid a girl by the name of Emmie. The girl had a knack for the PI business already helping her with a client by finding out where her missing son was.
Seraphina eventually got the paperwork and decided to take Emmie on as her legal guardian and watching over the girl closely, she eventually one day found a letter from Aloise one of the survivors from the Altsoba Massacre. Sera took the warning and remained low due to her being a fallen angel, however she has been looking more into what she actually is along with other Supernaturals or Necromantics what O.M.E.N. calls them knowing to stay away from them as much as possible.

Seraphina was 36 in Abandoned Hope, which happened in June, so she'd actually be 37 now. Need to fix her age and then the birth year as well. Either Spanish or French will need to take up an extra general skill spot. You can have up to 9 general skills--can add in a couple more than if you need to. I'd suggest adding in something like "Knowledge of Necromantics" for starters. You can have up to 5 combat skills--can add in an extra one there
And this skill, as a reward for completing Abandoned Hope, is an extra skill. It does not count to the limit of 9 for general skills/5 for combat skills. I was thinking of making some sort of monster man character that'd be something like a Xenomorph and Frankenstein put together. Is this alright with you?
@Grec Per the rules of the RP, you can only make a necromantic character if you're already running another character. So by that alone, I'd have to say no. But furthermore, I'd need more specifics to be comfortable with that sort of character, and it's already sounding too overpowered to me.

Eudora since birth, whenever that was, always had a deep feeling of wanting to help people around her, to remove the stereotypes placed on her and to ensure the safety and happiness of everyone around her. The only reason she even opened a magic shop was to help people, and she adored serving every client with a problem. Eudora keeps her arms wide open, accepting anyone into her hut/shop who is in need of a fairy godmother, Eudora is even ready to lay her life down if it means that everyone shall be safe. In fact, that’s the only reason she didn’t escape from the city once the apocalypse hit.
However, Eudora isn’t perfect either. That kind and loving core is layered upon with emotions of desperation and hatred that cloud her true self. Years of witch hunts and burnings has embedded Eudora with a general feeling of distrust towards mortals, and while forgiving to certain accidents, crossing the line too far can prove deadly. Eudora, after all, is a witch. They are renowned for their deadly skills, skills which Eudora isn’t afraid to use. Eudora can be harsh, cold, and deadly if she wants to, and her lack of fear when doing so only adds to her destructive capabilities. Once she had deemed someone to be undeserving of her kindness, it can be very hard to get into her good books again.
Eudora also values her privacy. After centuries of living alone in her hut, Eudora has learned to appreciate the still and calm that comes with isolation. However, she isn’t totally asocial and will open up to one or two people, but she finds herself tense and wary in large groups. First Necromantic Encounter:
Since as long as Eudora can care to remember, the supernatural has always been part of her life. Before even conception the supernatural has toyed with her life. Eudora barely remembers anything from her “old life” but part of the story is hidden somewhere in her mind, and it goes a little something like this.
Eudora was born to a single mother in a time as old as dirt, or so she thinks, it could’ve been in the dark ages or the dawn of man, whenever it was (~1690 in reality), Eudora would’ve most likely never been born. Her mother was sick and frail, the pregnancy was hard enough and the birth would be near impossible, she knew that one of them was going to die during it and she couldn’t just face that reality. She turned to God and prayed up and down, swearing to be a holy and good woman all her life but she only grew sicker and sicker. And understandably, she cracked. You could only pray for so long, and sometimes you had to take things in your hands.
She made a circle, poured a little blood and prayed to the only beings who really would listen. And so they came, one by one, and watched the pleading woman, hearing her case. To this day, both Eudora and her unnamed mother are unsure what those things were. Demons? Souls? Spirits? Gods? Whatever they were, they helped.
The beings approached her and each touched her stomach, and in an instant, all that pain, grief, and pressure vanished.
Shortly after, Eudora was born.
Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:
Life for Eudora wasn’t anything special. Well, if you don’t count the fact she became a witch in her terrible twos, but that’s just a small detail.
Eudora naturally grew up an outcast, and that was something she was comfortable with. After growing up in a childhood she never cared to try to remember, she simply packed her bags and left her quaint little home town. She doesn’t remember much about her old home, the only thing she remembered was that it was bad, so leaving was inevitable. The town burned down soon after.
Little happened after that. Eudora built her home, she worked her craft in total isolation and very rarely ventured out. Days melded into the years and soon time was meaningless to her, the only thing that kept her alive was that daily grind of drawing sigils and casting growth spells on her little garden.
The little she did go out or meet people was when they crossed her path. But the most she’d do was give the occasional lost traveler a bowl of soup or the lost children candy and a map that lead them home, and the world just moved on without her. Besides, who ever needs an old hag like her?
But it was fate that she’d come out of her little hut sooner or later. To face the real world and all it’s wonders, and it only took the end of the world to crack open her shell.
Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:
To say the apocalypse gave her an epiphany would be a little hyperbolic. Did it shake her to her core? Sure. But did it tell her something she didn’t already know? No.
After the events of the apocalypse, Eudora wanted to leave the not-so-quaint little town of Altsoba, she didn’t know where she was going to go or how, but what she did know was what she wanted to do. After packing her stuff and hightailing out, Eudora traveled in whatever direction until she found suitable housing in New Orleans. Settling down, she did what she always wanted to do, help. And so Eudora’s magic shop was born.
Eudora herself didn’t change much. She still was that mildly funny and mildly batty ancient woman who wanted to help, the only difference this time was that she wasn’t going to wait until the next century to actually start helping. She enjoyed every second of her work and never looked back at Altsoba, in fact in a couple years she might entirely forget there even was an apocalypse.

First Necromantic Encounter: One night in late 2005 Emmie was around six years old or so she woke up to hearing something break in the kitchen, Emmie made her way into the kitchen finding nothing there other then a shattered plate on the floor. She went to clean it all up then she could hear a loud scream coming from her parent's bedroom scared and wanting to see if her parents were alright. Emmie made her way towards their bedroom and opened the door she turned on the light to their bedroom she saw her father's dead body his blood covering his neck, his lifeless eyes staring right at her. Emmie's eyes then wondered towards her mother seeing a figure turning around holding her lifeless mother's body which it dropped the moment Emmie would let out a scream. The vampire quickly fled from the window to her parent's apartment. A few minutes later came by a neighbor woke up to check and see what happened, seeing the bodies of Emmie's parents and the terrified girl they called the police. Having no other family nearby Emmie was put into an orphanage where she would spent most of her childhood there.
Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Emmie had spent most of her childhood life living in an orphanage in New York City, she despised living there she barely had any friends as she watched kids both younger and older then her were slowly adopted out one by one before her. No one ever took notice in her as time continued to go by, eventually Emmie had enough and she decided when she was old enough herself she would runaway from the orphanage. When she turned fourteen she made her first attempt at running away when she did Emmie managed to leave and lived the first week alone on the streets with barely any money. Emmie was eventually caught and returned by the police to the orphanage that she grew up in, Emmie lived the next year in the orphanage once more waiting for the next time to leave.
When she turned fifteen Emmie made her final escape from the orphanage that she lived in and got as far away as she could, eventually Emmie ran into a group of homeless people like herself. Where Emmie learned how to steal, pickpocket and lock picking as well by some of the younger people in the group. Emmie also learned how to defend herself whenever she needed to by people who liked to bully the homeless, she became fairly good at fighting against others.
As the Altsoba Massacre started and the weird events started happening Emmie took notice whenever the weird news stories started to happen around the world. Emmie decided to distance herself from the others that she considered friends and went out to find places that she could be safe. Emmie found an abandoned apartment building where she spent the next several months living in, until people found her living there and she was forced to leave. Then the Altsoba Massacre ended, Emmie made her way into an apartment building finding an apartment that was empty she broke into it and started making herself at home then that's when she would bump into Seraphina the woman who would actually take her in.
Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Seraphina eventually took Emmie in as her legal guardian after Emmie had convinced her that she could help out, Emmie helped Sera with a case of her's when a mother hired Sera to find her missing son.
