Name:
Suel Istan
Gender:
Unknown
Age:
37
Origin:
Almoren
Career:
Gleeman
Faction:
N/A
Appearance:
Always wearing the patch ridden cloak of a thousand colors for which Gleeman are so well known, and carrying a lute slung over their back, they are the most stereotypical Gleeman alive. They appear androgynous, in loose fitted clothing and shapeless decoration, often grey and white- they rarely wear color besides their wonderful cloak. A smirk mars their pretty face, with their eyes narrowed in doubt almost exclusively. Rarely do they betray surprise, maintaining a neutral appearance of ambivalence, even in the face of the horrors of battle.
They sport a small, crescent shaped scar on their forehead, the origin of which is unknown. Their hair is always a different color, and their eyes' color is difficult to discern. They often wear implements to disguise or otherwise affect their appearance.
History:
Suel's mother and father were statesmen, killed by Trollocs, before Suel reached the age of majority. Raised by their older brother, they watched as he fought against the taint, trying to keep him well- to no avail, as the Red Ajah came, and gentled him. They raised their younger sister, alone and inexperienced, until a member of the Blue Ajah arrived, and stole the little girl away, to become a novice at the White Tower. Suel never heard from her again; they broke into the White Tower, and forced their way up to see the Amyrlin, demanding answers. It was then that they found out that their little sister never made it out of the second archway ter'angreal.
Now devoid of responsibilities, though not by choice, Suel pursued music. They became the Bard for the court of Almoren, a terrific achievement in the midst of the Trolloc Wars. A high ranking heir made a pass at them, and Suel stabbed him in the groin, and ran. Marked as a criminal by Almoren law, they realized they could never return to their home. They began to wander, gathering fabrics from stories around the world to accumulate into their cloak. Suel then began to write, chronicling the stories of the Trolloc Wars in sarcastic song.
Notes:
Suel casually uses both he/him and she/her sets of pronouns, and responds to both.
Suel sings, and plays the lute. They can also juggle and dance, being quite acrobatically proficient, but are prone to laziness.
Suel holds an immense grudge against the Aes Sedai, and will do nearly anything to spite them.
Suel doesn't fight, even in the heat of war.
Their name is pronounced "Soo-el"

Name:
Princess Naia Irabena of Aramaelle, Aes Sedai
Gender:
Female
Age:
204
Origin:
Aramaelle
Career:
Aes Sedai, First Reasoner of the White Ajah
Faction:
Commander of the White Ajah
Appearance:
Tall and domineering, she has a tendency to loom over others. Her skin is incredibly dark and smooth, free of any scars, due to her sisters' skills in Healing. With dark eyes contrasted by bright white hair, she is truly a sight to behold. She tends to wear very revealing clothing, characteristic of her people, crafted by an artisan who survived the Trolloc invasions. Always adorned in white jewelry, and wearing her ring on the second finger of her right hand, she is obviously a member of the White Ajah, though she rarely wears the shawl.
History:
Naia was only four years old when the Trollocs invaded her home. Her mother sent her away with one of the Aes Sedai advisors, instructing the woman to bring the child to the White Tower to be protected. On their journey out of the country, they were attacked- the Aes Sedai protected the girl as best she could, but she was horribly injured from the attack. They were able to make it to the White Tower in time for the child to receive healing, but she was forever changed.
A quiet child, she grew up in a group home for the sparse children of Aes Sedai in Tar Valon. Her distinctly odd appearance marked her as a target for bullying, but she chose to take it in stride, and became a fearsome figure at a very young age.
At sixteen, she showed that she had the spark. Delighted, she began training as a Novice, though it took her nearly ten years to pass on to Accepted. From there, it was almost fifty years before she became a full Aes Sedai, always putting off the test until next year. The thing which led her to finally accept the shawl was an invasion of Trolloc forces. Under attack, she took the test, and passed, without injury.
She became a member of the White Ajah, to study the philosophies of war. However, she participates still in the protection of Tar Valon, from any invading forces. She has not taken on a warder, as no man has ever proven himself intellectually worthy to her.
Notes:
Strength in the One Power: 13 (1) (Similar to Moiraine), Most powerful in Air
She does not remember anything before Tar Valon, and has not left the city since she was first brought there.
