Dear Hero,

As you may know, a threat has come to our great city. You may have encountered its effects already. People becoming extremely powerful, beyond normal standards and some who were not even mutants beforehand, like yourself. They are being changed by someone manipulative, a person of a dark spirit who has it out for Metropolis. He calls himself "the Voodoo Man."
Innocent people are being brainwashed by this man, and becoming these ferocious monsters who attack others for no apparent reason. They are villains.
You and other mutants are our only hope to eliminate not only these villains, but eventually the Voodoo Man himself.
Please, meet with the others at the town hall if you are willing to be a part of this Generation of heroes that will save Metropolis city.

What is This?

"HEY, SHMUCK! OVER HERE!"
You're attention is pulled away from the formal layout of the first OOC post to a girl with wavy long white hair, dressed in an outfit of skimpy red clothes that were a bit too tight on her. She's sitting on a chair, not at all properly, with an annoyed look as she gets tired of waving you over.
"Are you deaf? Get your ass over here! Don't you want to know what this is?"
With much hesitation, you move closer, glancing around as if expecting an ambush.
"Glad my hair is dyed white, now no one can see all the gray hairs I just grew from waiting for your slow ass! Anyways, Cherrywitch made me explain this role play to you. The name's Violet."
She went to shake your hand, but stopped, realizing she was imaginary and her hand would go right through. Oh well, the existential crisis could wait for later.
"Alright, lets get this over with! We're in Metropolis right now, if you're blind too and didn't see the sign when you walked in. It's usually a fairly normal city— drugs, bunch of hobos, a huge gang in downtown _{that I may run} buuutt not too bad for a big city, right? Well, that semi-decent environment is getting fucked up by Sir Douchebag himself, The Voodoo Man. That little shit caused a bunch of trouble for all the heroes coming here to the Town Hall as well as normal city goers! Every person with strong negative emotions and having an insane greed for something can be manipulated by VooDouche. He attacks innocent people with these others he controls, making them into villains and promising them something great in return. We don't know what the hell is problem is, but I'm sure knocking a few teeth out will give him some sense! The other heroes can be natural mutants like me, or probed around by aliens or scientists or whatever, I don't fucking know. You think Cherrywitch gives a flying shit? As long as the character isn't fucking Godzilla I don't think there's going to be a problem. She's too lazy to correct anything anyway, the stupid bi—"
It seemed that Violet had run out of time and you have to get going.
"Eh, whatever. You get the gist. If you don't, ask the Grand Creator Cherrywitch, or try this thing for more information. Yeah, and don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

Rules

Nothing crazy, don't worry. ^_^
1. All RPN rules apply.
2. No overpowering your characters. We all start out clumsy and somewhat weak at first and then grow stronger together.
3. No fighting OOC. Just because your characters hate each other doesn't mean you guys have to hate each other.
4. I would like at least a paragraph per character at least, preferably with decent grammar, punctuation, and some variation in sentence structure. I can understand if you can't manage that for some reason (like if you're ill or you're wifi is down), but let me know. I don't bite. This isn't a high school writing class, but it just makes it more interesting and easier to read for other players.
5. Cursing is perfectly acceptable! Have a curse fest for all I care. WOOOO! (But, uh, try not to make that your character's entire dialogue...?)
6. There most likely will be some gore like teeth being knocked out or people getting shot, but just don't go too extreme, alright?
7. If it really gets to that point, just freaking fade to black. Nasty.
8. This is a comedy. Try to be original/funny with your characters! Not saying there can't be some sad backstory, but try and keep it on the light-hearted side. This is for laughs, man.
9. I can make and break these rules at any time. YOU WILL OBEY ME, PEASANTS!

No one will be interacting with Thomas in person they will be interacting with Sara & Veronica Mastertorn. No one in the world has seen Thomas since he debuted Sara.

Rumors are floating around that Thomas digitized his brain and uploaded it into Sara. Some of those rumors also have Thomas/Sara murdering Thomas' human body and burying it on the moon. Thomas does find the moon part hilarious.

As for personality no clue what it will be. Lot of time what I write isn't actually the personality that I use in the rp.

Weapon(s): A deck of tarot cards.

Main Power: Chie can call forth the energy within tarot cards and cause it to appear on the physical plane. Different cards do different things, with the cards symbolizing humanoids, such as The Fool, calling forth the respective figure, and more miscellaneous cards, such as The Sun or The Moon, causing some sort of miscellaneous effect(for example, The Sun would change night to day, and vice versa for the moon). However, because of the nature of the tarot cards, the deck must be shuffled and cleansed regularly, otherwise the cards lose their power, either completely or partly. As a result, she isn't really well-suited for surprise attacks or back-to-back fights with no inbetween.

Personality: Chie is a rather bubbly and naive individual. She has a deep love of cards of all kinds, and is never afraid to voice her interest in them. Maybe her interests are a bit too dominant in her life, however. Once she starts talking about her hobbies, it's hard to make her stop. Even though people voice annoyance in her because of her personality quirks, she's really not the kind of person who would bear ill will towards anyone unless they REALLY struck a nerve. Her family and her hobbies are just two things one should NEVER talk trash about around her, lest they receive an earful of screams and a fist in the face. Aside from that, however, Chie is generally quite friendly, although a bit too trusting around people who try to get on her good side and succeed. Her naivete just might be her downfall someday.

History: Chie's father was a fortune teller, and a very eccentric one at that. He would often scream out the various meanings and interpretations of the tarot cards he read, and mention some pagan God or another as the overseer of all the possible outcomes the cards could lead into. Chie's mother worked at a casino and was in charge of Poker matches, and would often tell stories about the games she experienced to her daughter at home. Cards were a very major factor in the lives of the Hashimoto family, but Chie never really found her tie-in with the arcana until her father brought home one of his tarot decks after a night of heavy drinking. She drew a card off the top of the deck, and suddenly night turned to day. The card she drew was The Sun. Chie drew another card. Day turned back into night, thanks to the power of The Moon. This was her mutation: The ability to manifest the energy within tarot cards onto the physical plane. One night during the following week, Chie told her father about her newfound fascination with tarotology. He was very pleased to hear his only daughter voice interest in his profession, and made it his mission to teach her the meaning of every single tarot card. When she finally grasped the symbolism of every single one of the major and minor arcana, she decided she had to thank whoever it was that gave her the power which sparked her interest in the first place. Chie eventually discovered it was someone named "The Voodoo Man", and he apparently "must be stopped". After reading the letter, she rushed to the town hall, hoping to get more answers.

Other: Something, something, the Arcana is the means by which all is revealed.

@GarlandDaHero Its a really awesome character, but my only concern is where she got her powers. The people who receive power from the Voodoo Man are corrupt and easy to manipulate, thinking they will receive their greatest desire, such as money or love. The whole point of the heroes is that they don't need the Voodoo Man's power because they have their own, and that gives them strength over him.

Does that make sense? ^^"

Hm. In that case, how about this:

Chie's powers are something she always sorta had (due to her father's ties with the arcane), but never really found them until the time I specified? As for the Voodoo Man thing, it's just something that was said in the letter everyone got, yeah? So it could just be an assumption or something.

Sound good? If not, I can make some tweaks.

Main Power:
Transmutation: Ted can alter his body's physical structure to mimic many substances and elements. He can make his skin hard like rock as well as make the fur on his body surge with electricity. Ted can only have his body mimic one element or substance at a time and shifting from one to the next too quickly can tire him out. When he mimics heavy substances then he is unable to stop himself from sinking in liquid environments and when his body is made up of light elements then he is more vulnerable to severe damage thanks to lack of density. While mimicking lighter substances Ted is able to jump great distances and sometimes even float through the air with the help of air currents.
Sub Power:
Teddy Bear mimicry: His body is in the form of a teddy bear. This power is always active and the effect is permanent.
Personality: Ted is very straight forward and always prefers a directly solution to a problem instead of complex and manipulative means. He is quick to anger and has a very crude sense of humor. His views on good and evil are based upon the actions of those he sees and whether he feels that what they did is wrong. He is not someone who uses a doctrine or ideology to shape his morality. Even though people describe him as a pessimist and a skeptic, Ted prefers to consider himself a realist.

Politically he considers himself a social libertarian and a constitutionalist. He believes that freedom and the constitution should always come first over security unless a threat poses a great danger to his culture such as fascists ideologies. He is a huge supporter of the first and second amendment. He can't stand thought policing and believes that a person has a right to express whatever they want without fear.

His humor is politically incorrect and believes that facts don't about a person's feelings. He also despises socialism and communism. For him democratic capitalism is the end all be all of economics. Despite his crude humor and hardcore attitude, Ted is smart enough to make good financial choices and live a decent middle class life.

Finally he is very loyal to his allies and friends, but he will always remember a person who tricked him into agreeing something he doesn't like. He is not very forgiving of those who have double crossed him


History: Ted was born as a normal human and lived a normal life. He did good in school and had friends and a loving family. But all that changed when his mutant powers activated while he was in high school. His body changed from that of a human to a teddy bear. This new change was the greatest shock of his life and his parents decided to take him out of school and home school him from then on.

He explored his powers and realized that he had access to incredible powers. With these new powers Ted decided that he would become a hero and fight for his kind of justice. He took on the name Bear Commando and started off his hero career.

Everything was good until Ted had a run in with the Voodoo Man and his super-powered goons. With his terrible powers he was able to harm people that Ted cared about. From then on Ted swore to take down Voodoo Man and his group of villains. He was approached by a group called Generation X and offered a spot on the team. Even though he didn't really like the thought of being on a team, Ted knew that he would need help to take down the Voodoo Man.
