Ryteb grinned through Lyran's features at his opponent as he took the first move. The opponent was a woman, but he couldn't go easy in this fight.

"I'll start by playing the Foul Marksman and Lizard Soldier."

As he played the cards, they appeared in reality. In his hand formed a longsword which hummed with Arcane power. To his right, a crazy Lizard man wielding an axe and shield. The monster gave a prideful roar, knowing he was the strongest warrior. Behind him, a squad of putrid Orcs roared and cheered, as they prepared for combat.

"Archers, FIRE!" He said, raising his hand like a practicedancer general. The Orcs whooped, and began raining down arrows on the priestess. With a nod from his master, the Lizard also ran into the fray, swinging his axe at the lady.

Surprised by their opponent's quickness in using a summon-type monster, Ronald conjured the tough Rotten Stalker using it as a meathsield for the arrows. As the lizardman approached, Ronald sighed. Being turned into a woman was odd enough, but without a moment to even wrap his head around the predicament, they simply lunged forward, attempting to behead the lizard with Jack's Cutlass.

"You enjoying yourself with that? Yeah? Well knock yourself out, that way I won't have to." Ronald sneered, with a (to him) surprisingly female voice. Summoning Scallywag as a guard and Sneaky Rogue to see if she could fetch a nice card. Finally, Ronald dropped to a combat stance, while thinking to himself; Great start, genius. How will you ever make it big like this?

First Blood

The Foul Marksmen snarled and sneered as their wicked arrows found some success in hitting the opponent.

Unluckily for Ranca, the dim witted Rotten Stalker was not quick enough to shield her from the arrow fire and she took 13% worth of damage from two arrows in her thigh. The Rotten Stalker took damage but his tough undead body shrugged it off. The Sneaky Rogue also took a hit but not a powerful enough hit to destroy her before she managed to swipe a weapon card from Lyran. She managed to steal a Throwing Chakram for Ranca.

As the Lizard Soldier approached swinging his axe, Ranca's Jack's Cutlass was able to strike it for good damage but not kill the tough lizard. But the Rotting Stalker was finally able to make his way over to Ranca to defend her and suffered a powerful axe attack, before attempting a slow counter attack that the skilled lizard easily blocked.

The Scallywag wasnt hit by any arrows as he ran towards Lyran. Drunk, stupid, ready for a fistfight, he ignored his guard orders and charged but not before hurling his rum bottle at him, for 5% damage.

Lyran: 95%
Ranca: 87%

Rotten Stalker, Scallywag and Lizard Soldier remain in play.

"Tch... you uncouth knave. It's clear I will have to put you down myself." Ryteb said, angered by the Scallywag. He played the Arcane Longsword and Sturdy Sentry. Charging forward, he slashed straight through the Scallywag.
"Continue the attack men! Take down this wench in the name of our Lord!" He yelled, charging forward to engage his opponent.

Directing Scallywag to get out of the way of the attack and take over Rotten Stalker's position, Ronnie/Ranca sighed. Not like this fool was likely to follow orders, anyway. Drawing Jack's Flintlock and aiming it at Lyran, Ronnie/Ranca sighed, but focused. Waiting for her opponent to step beside the Rotten Stalker, he/she then pulled the trigger.

As the bullet quickly soared towards Ryteb/Lyran, Ronnie/Ranca was already in the middle of throwing Ryteb's own Throwing Chakram at the Lizard Soldier, ordering the Rotten Stalker to belay their opponent.

The calls been made and the cards been played, Ronnie/Ranca drew another card, prepared to play it at a moment's notice, Because any moment now, he/she'd have to.

The orders to the scallywag were not outright ignored but he was already in the fray, after taking a deep cut from Lyran's Arcane Longsword he managed to stay alive long enough to deliver a swift headbutt to lyran, causing 7% damage and dazing him slightly. The scallywag attempted a follow-up but was ran through by the Sturdy Sentry's Greatsword. The Sentry stepped over the corpse of the Scallywag and continued on his march towards Ranca.

Jack's Flintlock was fired, and the headbutt of the scallywag caused Lyran unable to dodge the bullet and was hit in the shoulder for 28%.

The Rotting stalker did its best to hold the Wily Lizard Soldier but his grapple was met with a nasty tail whip which managed to finally dispatch the stubborn zombie. But his victory was short-lived before being decapitated by a throwing chakram, taking his head clean off.

Lyran: 60%
Ranca: 87%

Sturdy Sentry is still in play.

That attack stung, but now he had the battlefield advantage. He played the Reptile Ride to gain maneuverability, climbing on the beast as he prepared to charge his opponent. Playing his own Throwing Chakram, he threw the bladed disc such that it would bounce into his opponents blind spot before rebounding towards her. With a second Arcane Longsword, he charged at his opponent to deal a dangerous slash. His Sentry was given the order to attack any creature the bitch summoned.

Because Ronald/Ranca was looking at his/her opponent, there was no blind spot to exploit. After playing Buckler to intercept the Throwing Chakram, Ronald/Ranca once more started distancing herself from the angry, angry man. Realizing he/she couldn't outrun the Reptile Ride, Ronald played --without slowing down-- two Crow Nesters and ordered them to take turns and attack Ryteb/Lyran directly all in an effort to slow him down or if possible kill his mount.

Then, still running he/she played Tinkerbell. Taking large, quick jumps rather than running normally, Ronald/Ranca soon reached the wall, jumping against a pillar and scaling it as fast as he/she could. Reaching a decently high point Ronald/Ranca clung to the pillar, thinking to him-/herself Guess these days of climbing trees to get higher points of view were good for something, after all. Too bad that I still couldn't get any good pictures... Shaking his/her head and scolding him-/herself for getting sidetracked, Ronald realized a flaw in his plan. Not only would he/she be sitting ducks here if the opponent had any more ranged weapons, but when your hands are occupied with holding yourself up, it is also unsurprisingly hard to play cards. On the bright side, at least he/she should be out of range for the swords.

The Reptile Ride accelerated Lyran and put him close to Ranca as he hurled the deadly chakram, he attempted a bank shot, but he was so close the trajectory could clearly be seen. Using the Buckler Ranca was able to block it and only take 4% damage. But that block gave the reptile enough time to snap at Ranca for 10% along with the Arcane Longsword cutting at her thigh just as she leapt with the Help Of Tinkerbell for 15%.

The Sturdy Sentry attempted an attack but was already out of range and missed.

The Two Crow Nesters soared above the battlefield dropping one cannonball each on the enemies. One was dropped on Lyran and his agile mount was just barely able to avoid a direct hit. The Cannonball grazed Lryan's shoulder for 11% but landed on the reptile ride's tail, not killing it but breaking bones and slowing it down greatly.

The second Cannonball totally missed Lyran and his mount but was a direct hit on the Sturdy Sentry, crushing his skull and killing him instantly.

Blood from both players stained the battlefield.

Lyran: 49%
Ranca: 58%

2x Crow Nesters, Tinker Bell and Reptile Ride remain in play.

"Tch..." Ryteb clicked his tongue in annoyance. Who would have thought the gIrlam would have something like that? He played his Wily Blacksmith and Quartermaster, retrieving his Arcane Longsword and the two Throwing Chakrams. Playing the two Chakram, he threw them such that the rebound would be extremely difficult for his opponent to predict. He then used his mount to try and dodge further incoming projectiles.

Surprised at his/her opponent not throwing the chakrams straight at him/her, Ronald/Ranca gladly took the opportunity given to him/her. He/She jumped from the pillar, playing Jack's Cutlass while falling down, using the combined momentum of the fall and his/her swing to pack a mean punch. Not quite satisfied with just this, Ronald also played Spiked Knuckles attempting a gutshot followed by an uppercut. Playing yet another Spiked Knuckles to keep the beat-up going, Ronald/Ranca smirked. He/She took a step back and then charged forward with the Captain's Flail, looking to end the battle then and there.

The reptile ride did its best to evade the next round of cannonballs, but half dead and with a very broken tail it couldn't move away in time to stay out of range. But before the cannonball was dropped, The two thrown chakrams bounced expertly off the cielling for a very tricky bankshot against a falling opponent. One of the Chakrams totally missed Ranca, but its powered up blade managed to kill a crow nester in one hit. The second chakram sliced past Ranca's mid section on the rebound for an impressive 25% damage, not a direct hit but an effective one.

Unfortunately, the remaining Crow Nester managed to drop the final cannonball on the slowed down reptile ride's head which not only killed the mount, but flung Lyran off of his steed for a minor tumble of 2% damage.

Before lyran could fully get back into fighting stance he was cut deeply by a falling Jack's cutlass strike, which did 18% followed up by four unguarded punches by the 2x Spiked Knuckles, totalling 32% damage, even before the captains flail could be drawn, Lryan's lifeless body fell to the floor in a bloody slump. A Heavily damaged Ranca becomes the victor.

Lyran: 0% (Lose)
Ranca: 23% (win)

As Kilo stepped into the battlefield, he looked down. Well, he was a female now, though it might have been hard to tell with all the garb. So, Malayka's eyes stared at their opponent, before Malayka looked at the cards in their hand. Best to test the waters -- er, rather, the sands-- first.

"No need to rush, yes? Let's start out slow." Malayka's smooth voice came out, before playing three cards. First was the Rotten Stalker support. From out of the ground, the smell of rotted flesh assaulted their nose as the Rotten Stalker arose. Malayka gestured toward their foe. "Attack." Malayka kept the order simple in the hopes that the support would get the message. Next, Malayka played the Ember Monk support. Malayka said nothing as the Monk appeared, instead playing the Flare Wand weapon card. As the staff appeared in their hand, they aimed it at their foe. The fireball blasted toward their foe, and the Ember Monk followed up with his flaming staff. Kilo then readied himself for what his foe might do.

Ronnie got up. That last batle was a beastly mess. He'd have liked to rest up a little and enjoy his victory, but another person already entered the battlefield. Not sure if he was supposed to fight this new adversary, his doubts were soon erased as this person also assumed mageform and started attacking.

Ranca rolled aside, attempting to dodge the Staff of the Fire Magus' Flame Wand's fireball. Raising a Buckler to block the Ember monk's attack that followed the fireball. "Does everyone else have so many support creatures?" Ronnie complained. At least the Rotten Stalker should be out of range for now, so that was a relief to him. Having an idea of how to use the Scallywag Ronnie summoned it, pointed at the ember monk and said "Come on! You can take that guy! Are you going to let him get away with insulting your mother?"

Next, he played Crow Nester and directed it at the opponent. "Oi, bird! Enemy mage. Face damage. Do your thing."

After sending out the bird, Ranca picked up a small pebble and threw it at the Rotten Stalker. With this 'diversion' Ronnie played Sneaky Rogue and whispered "Get me something ranged, will you?"

First Malayka summoned a rotten stalker which shambled over to Ranca slowly, clutching it's axe while moaning like any typical zombie. The usually serene ember monk showed insane speed as he chased the fire wand's projectile to follow up his attack.

The buckler blocked the fireball, but didn't do a whole lot to defend against a magical attack, as it was more suited for weapon blocking, Ranca took 17% damage. The Scallywag saw the ember monk, and in a drunken rage, charged at the warrior. managing to cut off his attack path at Ranca and get in a good overhand right punch which caught the monk on the jaw. The the much better trained Monk counter attacked with spinning back kick followed with a staff swipe to the temple which floored the Scallywag. The monk returned to his defensive stance as the Scallywag picked himself off the floor, taking more damage in the exchange overall.

The Crow-Nester dropped it's first cannonball and it grazed Malayka ever so slightly for 10% damage and hit the floor with a thud next to her. The Sneaky Rogue dashed towards Malayka but had to take a little longer to avoid the axe swing of the rotten stalker, closing in on Malayka.

Malayka: 90%
Ranca: 83%

Malayka clucked their tongue. "Hmm... it seems the heat is turning up, eh?" Malayka looked at the new cards they'd drawn. Kilo chuckled. There's an ace to save for later, that's for sure. First, they played the Tomb Caster support, followed quickly by the Desert Knight support. They waved their hand at the two, gesturing the battlefield. "I know you don't need me to tell you how to do your thing. Have fun out there, boys." Malayka playfully said. Then, they played their other Flare Wand weapon card, sending yet another fireball whizzing at their foe. Their last card... they'd save that for next turn. See how things went.

"Not again! Gods, I hate dealing with mounts!" Ranca cursed at the sight of the Desert Knight--even more at the sight of their opponent drawing out another Flame Wand. Ranca lunged to the side in attempt to put the Desert Knight between herself and Malayka. There was only one thing to do. Decided Ronnie. He'd have to pull that move again. Knowing how fast mounts can be, Ronnie wasted no time playing Tinkerbell, once more striding off towards the pillar.

Yelling for the Crow Nester Ranca shouted "OI BIRD, BLOCK THAT DAMN KNIGHT'S PATH!"

When Ranca once more arrived at the wall, (and specifically the pillar) she jumped and climbed up as fast as she could. This time around, she was already set to jump off at moment's notice, all she needed to do would be to kick off. Looking at his opponent, Ronnie smirked internally. He hated to admit it, but he would likely have to draw out his ace soon.

The Crow Nester Dropped its 2nd Cannonball, aiming for the fast riding Desert Knight just as it was riding past the Scallywag and Ember Monk Brawl. The Ember Monk was now chasing the fire wand's target (Ranca) but was hit square on the dome by the ball, killing it instantly. Leaving the Scallywag cheering in victory and turning his attention towards the desert knight who had just missed Ranca as she jumped towards the pillar. But the Flame wand's projectile manage to graze her as she took off and suffered 11% damage from a partial hit.

Because Malayka made no effort to deal with the Sneaky Rogue, it managed to swipe a Throwing Chakram for Ranca from the Assasin's deck, before leaving the battlefield. The Rotten Stalker finally managed to approach the Scallywag, who was now somewhat surrounded with the Desert Knight ready to approach on the other side.

Malayka: 90%
Ranca: 72 %

Rotten Stalker, Desert Knight, Scallywag, and Tinkerbell are still in play

Malayka scowled at the Crow Nester, as it obliterated the Ember Monk. She was nearly as angry at the Sneaky Rogue, but Kilo's tactical mind managed to calm her down. She scoffed, seeing the theft of the Throwing Chakram as a bigger deal than Kilo. However, they did have an ace up their sleeve...

Without saying a word, Malayka selected only one card to play: Boulder Brute. If they were to force their opponent down to range, then they would have to rely on the big brute. As it appeared, Malayka gestured up to where Ranca was perched. "Knock her down from there. Bonus points if you manage to crush her as well." Malayka commanded. They'd save their other cards for now.
