Like, I'll totes have my valley girl up like once I've got some sleep yeah? I am sooooooo tired! #Calforlife
Debating if I'm going to make her bitchy or ditzy though.
@HushedWhispers
Quick question because I'm tired and cannot even read - would it be okay to make two characters (siblings?)
My character is going to be a papparazi tabloidist type. I predict no one liking her but also wanting to stay out of her radar.
Update; I have my character done, if anyone wants to see her. :) I might make a poor student, too but I'll wait to see all of the other characters before I make a decision on that.
Oh wow. Oh wooow...I remember this from way back when! I loved the premise. Can't recall if it died or if this is one of the ones I had to drop because life was weird though. Definitely gotta punch up a sheet.

Melody Dillon is nearly done, and she'll be the ditz. Can I do another student, or is it 1 only?
I'm thinking an emo kid- bass and electric guitar player, New Wave fan.
oh this looks interesting. i might make a character! but, uhm, @HushedWhispers your character is interesting but the fact that u r using "OCD" as a personality trait is a bit uncomfortable and not exactly right. anyway! ill see if i can make up an character idea by the end of the day~
My interest is piqued! Once I decide on a major to pick, I'll be making a CS.
@HushedWhispers Mysterious campus paparazzo okay bye

Social Status;A Class All Her Own
Spending Habits;Spends when it counts
In Depth Appearance; There are many things about Parker that could be considered striking but not in the same way as a model or well known film star would be. Parker doesn't parade around looking like she spent hours doing makeup and hair - and considering her hair is in a short pixie-cut style that's often unkempt she could probably stand to spend a bit more time with it if she was so bothered - and this in turn gives her a sort of...effortless sort of visage. Parker looks very much like she wandered in off the street, albeit a street with an eclectic sort of fashion sense, at least compared to the more famous aspiring sorts around the campus. There's an almost androgynous sort of charm about Parker though she does lean into the female side of things regardless. Parker's tall, coming in at just shy of six one, with a lanky sort of strut about her; a slender frame that leans more into the gangly than the proper poise and strut of typical celebrities or model types. Parker's eyes are a sea-green glow that have a way of looking through someone rather than looking at someone, which serves her well given her position.
Clothing Style;Parker's favorite article of clothing is the vest, be it denim or leather or some other material. Parker almost always wears a vest over whatever bit of clothing she has. She won't win any fashion shows or the like, frowning and turning her nose up at dresses and thousand dollar accessories, but she's managed to eke out her own sort of grungy style that somehow manages to not be out of place amongst the people who desperately use their appearance and clothing to try to be less shallow than they truly are. Parker doesn't shop at Goodwill but she has a way of looking like she does, from worn jeans and clothes fresh from a Nirvana album, to baggy clothing or high waist pants. Whatever she wears, it's rare to see her without a lit cigarette between her lips and dark makeup that serves what features she cares to draw attention to.

-A sloppy burger with bacon and enough condiments to drown an infant
-Card games, from poker down to collectible ones
-Vanilla cola
-Late nights turning into early mornings
Dislikes;-Franchise films plaguing the box office
-Smoking
-Coffee and those who swear by it
-Famehounds
-Aggressively mediocre music
Habits;A pack a day smoker
Constantly uses profanity even in professional situations
Goes silent around those she considers cute/shows an interest in when alone
Hobbies;Dancing, though not in the classical sense of the term
'Photography'; Not everyone on campus is a fan of Parker's...style
Crashing parties and events she wasn't invited to, just to watch the uncomfortable expressions
Fears;Rats and rodents, those furry plague carrying monsters.
Needles. Especially needles in or around the eye, but needles in general.
Personality; If there's one thing Parker has in spades it's confidence. Even when among people who are thinking an assortment of negative things about her, Parker holds her head up and carries a confident stride to her walk, her speech, and just her attitude in general. She's got a fearless sort of quality stemming from an attitude of 'couldn't care less'. Parker presents herself as someone unflappable, who takes whatever insults they throw at her in secret just so she can come back swinging at them even harder - though not always in the physical sense. On a campus like this, fighting is only a temporary solution and Parker goes for the long term, the long game, the true killing blow. Her attitude is polarizing, as it would be, but behind the confidence and fearlessness is someone who has gotten so used to being independent and alone that any actual close contact is pushed away. Parker has a hard time making connections other than professional contacts precisely because she's got a pessimistic view of her peers. She isn't sure she could call anyone around her an honest, true friend.
It suits her all the same; she doubts anyone who is buttering up to her is interested in friendship with her. Parker's somewhat interesting position puts her at odds with many on campus to the point where any time someone that's never talked to her but is considered to be 'popular' comes over to make nice (often with a vanilla coke or a fast food meal), Parker assumes it's nothing more than a bribe. To her credit, or her shame, the bribes do work, but it only furthers her belief that everyone on campus and in this world is just really good at being fake pieces of shit.
And she counts herself among those pieces of shit.
Place of Origin;Peoria, Illinois (But she claims to be from Chicago because it's the one place people know in that state)
Background;Parker is something of a mystery to damn near everyone, especially as it relates to her being at this particular university. Parker isn't exactly forthcoming with information about her, other than her place of birth (which could also well be a lie), and she's got a knack for covering her tracks just in case someone gets suspicious enough to try to bring her down. Even the offices on campus aren't revealing if she's a scholarship student or one of the rich sorts. Any time someone asks her, Parker has to ask back "Why does it matter" or "Wouldn't you like to know?" Her monetary status and enrollment are guarded secrets, much like all of Parker's self.
However, it is true that Parker is from the midwest and that Ashford is her family name. She spent much of her youth travelling because her parents traveled often for work or just for fun. A summer spent overseas certainly lends plausibility to the 'came from money' suggestion but then there's the fact that 'overseas' in some cases meant little other than a trip to Canada which isn't exactly a European getaway. Parker doesn't maintain any sort of contact with her parents, saying only that "I was born and they named me" as the be all end all of it. Questions about siblings are brushed aside in the typical Parker fashion of 'do you need to know?' but considering her relationship, or lack thereof, with her parents the same could be said of potential siblings.
What's more known about Parker is her actions and presence on campus. It's no secret that many of the students, be they offspring of famous sorts or dreamers, have no love for the paparazzi so naturally Parker took it upon herself from day one of her arrival to be the campus paparazzo. She doesn't hide the fact that she runs an online campus blog that is akin to a tabloid publication, and that blog has turned Parker into an infamous presence. No one really wants to be seen on the blog, which is where the bribes come in; bribing Parker is pretty much code for "I'm going to be doing some unflattering shit tonight, I'd appreciate it if you weren't there" and Parker is happy to oblige in that case. There's plenty of rumor and gossip and candid photos to go around. Parker has considered expanding the operation, but more campus paparazzi could only complicate things further.
Parker's equipment isn't cheap but it's never been made clear if she bought it with inherited funds or the money she's earned as a freelance photographer. Say what you will about her snapping photos of the offspring of the stars doing lines (and not the kind you find in a script), when her skills are used for good there is talent there.
The only one who really knows much about Parker Ashford is, well, Parker Ashford. But enough is known about her to stay on her good side, even if she makes it incredibly hard to do so at damn near every possibility. But do enough digging and eventually you'll hit the mark.
Extra;Bae Doona
She seems like she would be the campus "Gossip Girl" or something. Haha.

That was kind of the idea, only instead of no one knowing who it is it's more like everyone knows and is appropriately wary.
