Um... Superman's learned several forms of Kryptonian martial arts. 'The Man From Krypton' and 'New Krypton' I think both had mentions of Superman becoming more formidable because he had his own unique fighting style that was lost to the universe when Krypton went boom... he constantly made mention of it when he was powerless in the Bottled City of Kandor as well because at times the city's inhabitants didn't always have powers like Superman because they were't exposed to the same amounts of solar energies [and because other times when they DID have powers, a criminal would escape the bottled city with Superman level powers].

He's nowhere near the MMA master Batman is, but with his enhanced attributes on top of ancient Kryptonian martial arts... he can pretty much kick anything's ass be it alien, metahuman, or machine.

Thank goodness for that! What's the point when you have Superman's abilities? Why flip around when you can just heat vision a guy? Or freeze breath him before sending him into orbit. A Kryptonian does not need ninjutsu.

Ninjutsu is the use of elemental powers in Naruto. I think you mean taijutsu

@Weird Tales Superman doesn't need to counter strikes or try and outgun somebody in close quarters. He can take nearly everything anyone can dish out and then crack a planet in half with a backhand. No time for an intense hand to hand battle when every strike sends somebody flying half a city away or farther.

The only people he'd use the martial arts on is other Kryptonians, Daxamites, Doomsday, or somebody with Godly power like Wonder Woman.

@Weird Tales He uses martial arts because he was created in Japan. Same reason they use swords all the time in expanded media despite them being super outdated, its just 2nd nature to that region.

Appearance - Harry has slightly spiked, blonde hair and a red glow to his whole body. He's not very tall standing at 5'7" and has a skinny figure. He wears a pair of jeans and a leather jacket which he has found that he is incapable of taking off in his new ghostly form.
BRIEF Bio - Harry doesn’t remember many specifics about his time in the land of the living but he does remember living with his somewhat distant parents all the way up to his demise, whatever that may have been. Harry’s memories as spirit have been much more vivid however. Harry was stolen away from the true afterlife by a necromancer who sought to summon an army of thousands of mundane souls to help him take over Las Vegas and later on the world. At this point Harry was little more than a slave to the will of the necromancer but this was quickly cut short as the young Zatanna put a stop to the evil magic user's plans along with John Constantine.

After defeating the necromancer all of his summoned spirits were set free once again; all except Harry that is. For one reason or another Harry remained but now had his free will back once more. Harry was pretty frightened at first but Zatanna managed to calm him down enough for him to begin to come to terms with his situation. Harry hung around Zatanna for awhile longer as she and Constantine seemed to be the only ones capable of seeing or hearing him due to their own magical nature. The spirited teen would follow one or both of them around for a month whilst helping them on some of their heroic excursions until Zatanna offered Harry a spot on a new division of the Justice League... Young Justice.
Notes -
-Harry has some skill in hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship though both of these are very minor and have loads of room for improvement.
-He misses the sweet release of sitting down.

Sample Post: make sure your tense matches up most of the time. I made the first sentence two sentences because you went from 'was a calm night' to "area is at" and went from past tense to present tense too quickly.

It was a calm night in Blüdhaven. The overall crime in the area was at a record low. The faint sound of late night drivers and riders accented the cold air and added to the beautifully chaotic ambience that was Blüdhaven. This tranquil symphony of urban sounds was pieced quickly by a ear curdling scream.

Mike ran down the alleyway as he was chased by a finely dressed white-clad man on a pure white horse.

"Please, leave me alone!" Mike called in between heavy breathes as the white clad Gentleman began to get closer and closer.

The one advantage Mike had on the fiend was all the twists and turns in the alleyway but that luck ran out as the alley ended with a packed parking lot with not a single living soul in sight. Mike looked frantically around for somewhere new to duck into but in his search he failed to watch where he was stepping and tripped over a median.

"Now thou'll feel the cold touch of thy's ghostly steel!" The apparent ghost called out as he drew a rapier from his side and leaped from his steed at Mike. Mike prepared for the worst but was instead greeted by a loud 'thwack' noise which was followed up by the sight of his assailant strewn out in front of him, rubbing his jaw.

Mike prepared to get up and run again but he quickly lost consciousness before getting the chance to get away...

...and now Harry was in control.

"You know you could have had a pretty good career as a stage actor Haddock." Harry said as he walked over to the villian's discarded rapier while he was stunned "but you just had to go to a life of crime"

Harry in Mike's body slipped his foot under the sword hilt and kicked it up, grabbing it and pointing it at the now recovered Haddock.

"Who are you?" Haddock said as he stumbled backwards in a vain attempt to escape.

"Harry. But you can call me Giest." and with that Giest leapt into action.

Speed Demon

Name - Arthur McGavin

Alias - Speed Demon

Personality - Determined, Stoic, Cool

Experience - A year

Powers - Arthur is a master of anything with wheels or an engine. Through magic and skill he is able to deduce how most vehicles work in minutes and drive them with unrivalled skill in no more than an hour. Speed Demon also possesses the perk/curse of having a demon bonded to him which gives him access to vast reserves of magic and an annoying voice in his head. Arthur, on his own, is capable of summoning an infernal sword, firing Eldrich blasts and having any vehicle he rides befit a Knight of Hell. The demon, known as L'Iegos, has quite a few powers of his own such as his demonic armour, hellfire breath, Lance of the forsaken (an incredibly strong lance capable of being summoned in the blink of an eye), super strength, summonable fireballs and magic platforms Along with the same vehicle shaping power as Arthur.

Weaknesses - L'Iegos is very durable but iron and holy weapons will burn his skin should it come into contact and he is incapable of entering or being summoned in holy sites. Arthur has all the strengths an weaknesses that come with being human.

Appearance - Arthur is built like a lamp post; tall, skinny and strong enough to stop most things thrown his way. He has tanned skin and short raven black hair.

BRIEF Bio - Arthur was raised in your average american household with two parents that he tends to avoid talking about if he can help it. He always had a fascination with cars and dreamed of becoming a car designer when he grew up but that passion faded away when he hit his teens and actually began driving. Arthur gained a dimmer outlook on the world and began street racing for thrills and pink slips. He became so good at his trade in only a year of (legal) driving that people began hiring him to drive everything from muscles cars to motorized rickshaws in order to win bets and make money for themselves.
One fateful day while in a motorcycle race, Arthur was getting ready to cross the finish line when what could only be described as a monster came out of nowhere and knocked Arthur off of the motorcycle and sprawling onto the streets. In pursuit of the monster were three people: John Constantine, Young Zatanna Zatara and L'Iegos the demon, summoned by Constantine to help battle their foe. The fight was nearing its end and with a few words the two magic users used their combined powers to send the monster back to whence it came. It was at this time Zatanna noticed Arthur who had managed to get nearly cut on half by the wheel of the motorcycle and was losing blood fast. Zatanna panicked as she knew she couldn’t just leave the boy there but she also knew that her healing spells weren’t strong enough to save him from his fate so she opted to try something that she had heard of in a story. Like the mighty Merlin, Zatanna bound the already summoned Estargon to the boy in order to save his life much like how Merlin saved Jason Blood from death by bonding him to Etrigan. Arthur was saved but now he was forever changed but eventually Arthur got used to demon’s presence and found that he could ‘aim’ it at those who did wrong and use his curse for greater purpose. A year after his unfortunate event, Arthur was approached by Zatanna to join a new division of the Justice League called Young Justice which he reluctantly accepted.

Arthur rode down the street on his moped. While he was a fan of driving fast, he liked to take his time sometimes and enjoying the crisp cold air of Blühaven as a whole. Sadly today wouldn’t be as peaceful as Arthur had hoped as he saw police cars and a apparent getaway car heading in his direction.

As the car drew closer, Arthur's moped began to change. The plastic and metal frame began to twist and contort, the muffler began backfiring before outright spewing flames and a sinsiter looking face formed itself on the front of the scooter. Slowly the speed diffrence between the two vehicles became shorter and shorter until the getaway car and Arthur were in tandem speeds.

At first the driver assumed they would pass the kid on the metal looking moped but once he realized that Arthur was now in prusuit, he englightend his associates who began firing madly in Arthur's directon. Arthur deaftly dodged the bullets by Shaply leaning towards the car and, in turn, smashing into the side of the car leaving a sizable dent. With this oppernuinty Arthur summoned his infernal sword and jabbed it into the door in order to scale the car and get to it's roof. Luckily the thug's aim was ambysmal due to their frightened state but Arthur knew he neded to act fast if he wanted to get out of this without injury.

Once on top of the car Arthur jabbed his sword down into cabin. He then began frantically cutting away at the metal. The criminals at this point were beyond scared as a meancing sword poked and tore at their car, trying to get in. The driver quickly pulled over and made a run for it just as Arthur had hoped. The other ruffians soon followed suit in an attempt to get away but Speed Demon was already upon them by letting loose a flury of eldritch blasts from his hands while saying "ldritchea lastsba" as quite as he could.

The police showed up to see the thugs writhing in pain and the getaway car nowhere in sight.
