I highly recommend we start figuring out who has connections to whom within the cell and how information gets to them and how they deliver it to others. I was going to get a post together, but we need to work that bit out.

The plot will start off with the cell trying to hide and feed and care for a downed Allied airman with an injury, so start brainstorming on how to go about doing that while avoiding German/Vichy attention.

Well, we could do it rather easily with the implication that Saint Attila used long ago... The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. But they are rare and the Book of Armaments rarer still....

But really, if we needed to hide him somewhere it needs to be somewhere inconspicuous that the Germans wouldn't think of looking. A church maybe, or something along those lines. And on the lines of how information is passed, well Jude conceivably lives the farthest outside of Épernay, with him being a cow farmer and all so he would probably be the first to get information, from let us say messengers going from town to town, and he would pass it along maybe going to the Petiot's cafe and pass it along. Because well he is french it would be weird for him to not got to a cafe. But that is just one little segment of communication their will be a lot. Delphine probably hears things from the officers that go the cafe, Guillaume would have his connections within the French Scouts and so on and so forth.

Okay, so we're establishing Jude as their guy with the knowledge of the outlying areas and a pointman for stuff in the countryside. Anyone else?

My character will be extremely paranoid about her association with the others being discovered. Characters such as yours, HeySeuss, would not seem to be a threat if they were aligned with the Vichy, but characters that are borderline of being suspected she would probably shun in the public view. Her association with the café gives her access to information for sure, and a sort of camo against suspicion because she blatantly supports them with drinks, food and her silver tongue.

What sort of place would they use to meet?

I'd say my character is both paranoid of being discovered and having the Nazis and their collaborators discover her Jewish heritage. To go with what I said in her bio, I doubt in the beginning she'd be partaking in very many of the highest risk missions anyway though.

I'm adding to Cerise's sheet that her father is a tailor, and it's a trade she's picked up her fair share of. Disguises, secret pockets, all depending on the time and the quality, but she can be the one to seek out should you find the need for such things.

I watched the whole thing and it definitely works. :) Commercials, but nothing I couldn't handle. I know it might be blasphemy, but I think I enjoy Army of Crime more. Both were definitely worth watching. I have yet to check out Au Revoir Les Enfants, but if I find it I will let you know. :)

As a guideline for moving the plot along, the idea is to have characters bring the downed British airman some food. Maybe there's a bit of conversation such as how much of a cold fish Guillaume is and the nature of the war, and being so jumpy. The British airman probably has a survival pistol (a Webley revolver) also...so maybe a pretty girl might convince him to hand it over in a fit of gallantry. (Or not so much gallantry, if he got laid in the exchange, though do us all a favor and brush over the details. ;) )

Also, if Hexaflagon is still with us, Jude can move him and deliver him to another cell of Resistance, or make preparations for that transport at least.

Does that perhaps provide some idea of what y'all can do with your posts?

I'm still here. I have my first post written up for the most part, I've just been waiting to see if anyone else was going to post.

Cool, if someone else wants to go, go for it. But we'll hold off on moving the airman until a little later if you go now. But Jude has lots to do with preparing to move him, so it's good.
