A long long time ago...so long (in fact) that I can still remember how that music used to make them smile. If only they were given a chance, perhaps they could have made those people dance. Maybe they'd been happy for a while. Yet while pacing the pews of a church corridor, Lady Beth couldn't help but hear an exchanging of words. Ever since she was a just a girl she imagined a day like today, a paradise, only for it to fly out of her reach (honestly what do you expect from an Eagle?) A slim hand covered her mouth as tears began rolling down her cheeks. They could have had it all. Chiming in, the eagle inquired, "Is too late to apologize?!" from the top of his lungs, but she was gone, disappearing into a black night. Was there hope to be found? Or in the end does it not even matter?
