@Starlance Well, if fortunes does this for fun I assume they should have enough free time to do it. It's a lot of typing but if someone enjoys typing it's not really work. I tried something like this once but it only failed for me because of a lack of personal character. Yay!

Due to some recent events in life, I'm not in a place where I can easily roleplay for the time being. I will refine my application from the last roleplay and apply once I get a chance.

Nit a cogm at all but would it be okay if i might know why yoi are asking? We already have such a wide selection of diverse character and i see no reason why it would matter what personality we are missing to be honest. (I'm not saying this to be meam just super curious amd confused)

Doctor Eirik Svein

Name: Doctor Eirik Svein

Appearance: Svein is a large dark man - medium dark complexion, dark graying hair is long and habitually kept neatly back. While he might otherwise be considered handsome, his most notable facial feature is his Bourgerac nose. He stands at 6'1", and while he has a strong stature he is certainly no athlete.

Strengths:

• Analytical mind. He operates on fact, and has a single-mindedly focused on discovery. As such, he has a large breadth of knowledge. He would have worked loosely with scientists out of interest. As a surgeon, he's most familiar with cybernetic implants and infection.
• Vigilant and Cautious. Working in his field, he's developed a preventative attitude towards problems.
• Damn good at his job.

Weaknesses:

• Hubris and Curiosity; Looking for information, and believing that he has his bases covered, he will erroneously seek out what should be left alone.
• Antisocial and Non-cooperative; He isn't keen on listening to anyone else's advice, nor direction, and is unlikely to 'jeopardize' himself for the sake of others, despite that this makes him more vulnerable.
• No physical defense training. He's not a soldier nor a combatant.

Personality: Svein is the epitome of 'singleness of purpose' towards his profession. He comes across as unfriendly and thoughtless, prioritizing success before friends, family, and health. Despite that, he's remarkably soft hearted - particularly towards those that would have been his daughter's age. His one passion outside of work is his coffee, preferring expensive real espresso above any sort of plebian synthetic imitation.

History: As a young upstart surgeon, he made waves among the medical community by installing his daughter with numerous 'experimental' enhancements given that he had the funds and easier access to the technology. What he considered to be the truest expression of love, resulted in a headlining lawsuit, a second vicious custody battle from his divorced wife, and a tarnished reputation barring him from most employment on Earth.

Svein spent the formative years of his career working on the wealthy of the Mars colony, but ultimately volunteered for the Willman Laboratory mission to remove himself from the distraction of his estranged family and renew his devotion to medicine.

Family:

• Astrid Svein - the Doctor's daughter, from early childhood unwittingly a notorious character caught up in her father's controversy. Currently a soldier with the Global Coalition. They have been out of contact for twenty five years.
• Nona Nomina - Svein's ex-wife, independently wealthy socialite looking to break onto the political scene.
• Codex - Svein's cat.

Saw this and it looked just awesome, I especially liked the part about not getting too attached to your characters! So here's me character request.

My Hider

Name: Jaegar Seabring

Profession: Assistant Fire Team Leader
Nationality: USA, American Alliance
Birth Planet: Earth

Appearance: Rowan stands at 5' 11", has messy brown hair and facial stubble. He is incredibly well built and always looks alert and attentive. He has two visible scars; one that goes across his head just above the ear and one across his neck. Despite his size he has warm brown eyes and usually seams to wear a stern yet caring expression on his face.

Strengths:
- When given a task or assignment it becomes Jaegar's life and he won't rest till it is done.
- He has extensive combat training and cam operate in any setting from the battle field as a soldier or a ballroom working undercover security detail.
- Due to his personality he gets along well with his teammates and he is very protective towards the weaker links.

Weaknesses:
- Jaegar can become a little too obsessed with concentrating on his assignement that he neglects other aspects in his life such as friends and family.
- Although he is physically strong he struggles with depression and drinking.

Personality: Despite his looks Jaegar is normally friendly and can hold a good conversation with strangers. He genuinely cares about everyone that he is entrusted to protect and goes above and beyond to make sure they are well cared for. Just like with his work if he picks up a hobby he goes all in until he eventually finds a new hobby and the cycle repeats itself. He isn't a big fan of leadership but you don't have to twist his arm much to get Jaegar to accept a leadership position. He secretly prides himself on his leadership qualities.

History: Jaegar was born in Florida and lived there for about 3 years till his little brother Rowan was born and they moved to Luna. He and his brother enjoyed a comfortable life as his parents were both engineers. Everything was going well for Jaegar until he was 11 years old and both his parents were killed when a new airlock system they were testing blew up killing 41 people. It is where his depression started and he and his brother moved back the the US with his grandparents. He was depressed a lot and when he turned 18 he enlisted imidiately into the American Alliance Protection Forces because he thought it would keep him busy enough so his depression wouldn't bother him and give him a purpose in life.

He excelled in the Protection Forces and when he was 23 he tried out for the Elite Enforcer Forces. He loved being an enforcer and traveling and the versatile missions they conducted and while he was serving he took advantage of all the oprotunities for extra training such as urban combat, search and rescue, force Protection, and hazardous environment training. During his years of service he discovered his love for crossfit and filled his spare time training. However all good things must come to an end and one day while he was on leave he got into a bad car accident and broke his leg. The Protection Forces deemed him unfit for service and he was honorable discharged from the Forces. He spent the next year doing smaller private security jobs and crossfit training until a few days after his 26th birthday when he got the opportunity to volunteer for the Willman laboratory mission.
