Mortan listened to the pair. Vaulthuz seemed more agreeable than this Shaman, and yes he did noticed the dispeasure with the title. Vaulthuz spoke of peace, destroying the world so there was only enslaved undead and grow a truly powerful undead empire. Mortan considered the idea, nothing he had really thought of if he where honest, it was the pirsuit of knowledge he desired. Their goals could align quite well however, as a world burned beneath their armies he would have all the bodies he could possibly need... at the same time he had no desire to be the general. such things did not suit him but he would probably have to take time away from his studies to raze a city or world occasionally.

"Vaulthuz, your plans are very agreeable. I would happily be a party to your conquest" he said, but specifically not bowing in a show of fealty, he wanted to ensure that Vaulthuz understood that Mortan was his equal and not some minion at his beck and call. "Unfortunately i have none of the Golems presently. They where lost during my travels but with a supply of fresh bodies and some time, i could make you a simple one. A... proof of concept if you will."

Mortan turned his attention to Tiaz, slightly annoyed at the breaking of the Ghoul's neck, it still functioned but it was essentially useless as a minion now. He concentrated a moment and severed the magic reanimating the Ghoul letting it collapse to the ground. He then noticed the general dislike of his Knights.. they where living humans, which was a problem he was trying to solve and keep the knights as deadly as ever. Perhaps he could convince them to be turned by his vampire friends, but that was for a later time. Mortan began to examine te rest of the room more carefully, before his eyes locked onto the still open portal. Now that was interesting, and gave him a perfect excuse to ignore Tiaz.

"This portal, it is a gate not a simple transit for you. You mean to establish a beach head here... Facinating" he takes several steps past the two and begins to examine the portal closely. "How... does this work? Fueled by souls? hmm" he continues his examination losing several moments in thought. "My apologies. as for a display of my creatures" he says to Tiaz "and establishing your foothold on this world" to Vaulthuz "I think there is a perfectly agreeable place very near. If i remember correctly there is a fort near here. A small place maybe... two or three hundred soldiers and a small town that has grown nearby to support it. You may have seen it Tiaz, am i correct?"

Supreme Bishop Nebulius Suprema

Interaction: @Overlord Thraka (Thalia Coldstone); @Antarctic Termite (Smudge Pixelby); @JaceBeleren (Demon?)

As Nebulius attempted to get the demon figure off of Megurox, he suddenly hears a loud ringing sound coming from the computer girl that was on the ground. While it disoriented him for a split-second, the noise wasn't nearly loud or annoying enough to have him stall for too long. As he fired upon the demon, his initial attacks were mere warning shots to have him leave or to be eliminated. The alien hears the pained roar coming from the demon as the dagger Mergoux had stabbed through his hide. It then noticed Nebulius' defensive hostility and before the alien could launch another beam of white light at him, he used the woman as a meat shield to block any other incoming attack.

Nebulius almost fell for that trick, but alas was able to stop before he could issue friendly fire. It was a smart and brutal tactic that the demon used, but regardless that made all his death all the more reasonable. He fires another white holy beam at the creature, yet this time it would be towards the lower legs in an attempt to cripple it. Even if they missed and hit the ground, it would cause a miniture explosion that would cause for him to loose balance. Then he would run in and use his staff in an attempt to stab the creature in the chest.

"Aye, I've been there a couple times over the past year. Nice town. It's actually where we heard the information that led us out here. You know the old dwarven ruins a bit north of here? The ones nobody pokes around in because it's crawling with undead?" He said with a look at the group. Nakreyya of course had no idea what ruins he was talking about. Hence the comment about the undead. And while his two companions already knew all this he couldn't help but be a bit dramatic.

"The farmers from the surrounding area have been seeing odd stuff lately. The ruins are lighting up, undead are wandering past the commonly accepted boundaries. The rumors and stories get more fantastical and unbelievable the longer you listen. One thing is certain though, something is happening out there and we intend to find out what.

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven@LPRKN

Elise blinked softly at the marching illusion towards Scarlett before pursing her lips lightly in thought. Scarlett however just seemed mildly interested in the trick, not flinching as she heard a mimic of her own voice behind her. At that, she just smiled, choosing not to say a word before biting into her piece of meat. Elise didn't say anything either as she took the piece of meat and started to munch on it. The warrior paused a moment and looked at the meat, glancing to Nak just then and smiling politely. "This was well cooked, thank you.." It really was, making Elise even a little impressed.

Before anything else could happen though, Nak had asked a question and just as she was about to answer, the hobbit interjected and started rambling on about it. 'Hm..' The woman simply took note of it and listened as he went on, only to glance to Fionn as he explained the adventure they were about to go on. She wondered how Nak and TC would take the news. By now though, it should've been no surprise that Scarlett was no stranger to such things, so even though she didn't seem anything but average - the news of undead somehow didn't alarm her at all. Which only prompted Elise to perk up and look to Nak, remembering something. ".. which is something you should know if you plan on coming along - don't blame you if you don't - but you'll need to keep an eye on Scarlett.. she, uh.." Elise paused, looking over to the redhead as she smiled in return. ".. has a habit of getting into a trouble.. with no way of defending herself."

At that, Scarlett shrugged softly, giving Nak an innocent look. "Don't even know why.. I just.. have strange urges to help people.." She paused, exchanging looks with Elise. "Doesn't bother me any though, even if miss Elise thinks I'll end up hurt.." Scarlett looked over Nak for a few moments before clearing her throat and giving Elise a coy grin.

"Wha- ..." Elise seemed taken back by the look before looking to Nak, then the redhead, and back to the elf. "... oh." At that, all Elise could do is smirk knowingly. "I'm sure Scarlett wouldn't mind the extra protection however.." she hinted at with an amused tone.

"Wow, you've never heard of New Bastion? The First City? I'll tell ya lady, its a beautiful city just North of here. She's filled with anything you could ask for. Those cobble streets are ancient and there's a lot of secrets she don't want to give up. I know a few, I've been in and outta there for years. You should check it out one day, I bet ya, ya birds would go like hotcakes on the Trader's Terrace. Any of you folks climbed the steps there before?" TC said. Nak took notes swiftly, but once again left the notepad out once she was done. She had a feeling there'd be a great amount of information to be gleaned here, and she didn't want to miss out on it.

"This was well cooked, thank you.." Elise said to Nak. Nak inclined her head with a slightly smile to indicate her thanks for the compliment.

"I am... not from around here," Nak repeated, for TC's benefit. "Anzu and I only recently arrived. I am still catching my bearings." Nak knew it pointed her out as not being a part of the main group - but that didn't bother her.

"Aye, I've been there a couple times over the past year. Nice town. It's actually where we heard the information that led us out here. You know the old dwarven ruins a bit north of here? The ones nobody pokes around in because it's crawling with undead?" Fionn answered TC's question as well - and elaborated upon it. "The farmers from the surrounding area have been seeing odd stuff lately. The ruins are lighting up, undead are wandering past the commonly accepted boundaries. The rumors and stories get more fantastical and unbelievable the longer you listen. One thing is certain though, something is happening out there and we intend to find out what."

".. which is something you should know if you plan on coming along - don't blame you if you don't - but you'll need to keep an eye on Scarlett.. she, uh.." Elise started, then paused as she tried to find the right words. ".. has a habit of getting into a trouble.. with no way of defending herself."

"Don't even know why.. I just.. have strange urges to help people.." Scarlett said, in answer to Elise's warning. "Doesn't bother me any though, even if Miss Elise thinks I'll end up hurt.." She shot Nak a coy smile. Nak tilted her head to one side, somewhat surprised by the action - was she being flirted with by Scarlett?

Gods alive - I'm probably old enough to be her mother, even if she were an Elf. And yet, she is flirting with me as though I were still in my prime. Nak thought to herself.

"Wha- ..." Elise seemed taken back, but only for a second. "... oh. I'm sure Scarlett wouldn't mind the extra protection however.."

Nak glanced over to Elise momentarily, and then to Fionn and TC. She sat back on her heels a bit, kneeling before the fire still. Her expression was blank, completely inscrutable. She had traveled alone for a long time. Longer, perhaps, than any of them had even been alive. They spoke of Ruins and helping farmers - noble, in it's way, but Nak had long ago gotten out of being a hero. She'd lost the desire about the same time she'd lost her eye. Or perhaps it was better to say she buried it. She was just going through the motions these days - she didn't live anymore. She just survived.

She looked to Anzu, who was already staring back at her. He didn't speak, but she knew he understood. He wore no signs of displeasure - nor did he look particularly excited by whatever Nak might decide. It was up to her.

A part of her wanted to believe this would be 'good' for her. That she would find purpose again. That she could believe, and would regain a semblance of a life that didn't feel like she was simply running from her past. However - how she chose to live her life now had become instinct. No connections. No one to feel sorrow for if they were killed... Elise had inferred Nak could 'guard' Scarlett. But Nak knew that was folly... she couldn't keep anyone safe. As she thought about even the prospect of having 'friends' again, her mind's eye saw the wing of her tower. Covered in blood. In her memory she heard her own voice screaming as one of the guards pulled her back and away. Told her she didn't need to see more than she already had.

"I fear I am not much of a guardian," Nak admitted, never letting the memory show on her face. "Nor am I much of a Sorcerer. My skills are in silence, in mechanics, and in survival. In my day, I did used to delve ruins on my homeworld. I did it for fun, and for adventure, and to prove to myself that I could. It has served me well as a survivalist. Rope work, reading tracks, path finding - these are all skills that come in much handy in the wilds - no matter where you are. I believe this world will be safe enough for me. In light of that, if you believe you have need of my company - then all I ask in return is as much information as you could provide on the layout and politics of this place such that I do not find myself in a stockade by accident. I require no money from you. If you do not believe I will be of use, then you are all welcome to my fire as long as I am here, where I will share my kills as is custom - and we can part as friends."

Fionn Harken

The elf's skills were all extremely helpful from the sound of it, at least on a planet like this one. They most assuredly would help in the upcoming exploration of the ruins.

Plus there was something about her. There was a weight upon her. A heavy one that held her down, kept her from being all she could be. Likely related to the aura of nobility she carried

She needed help and Fionn was going to give her all she would accept.

"We would be glad to have you accompany us and I can promise you a very thorough explanation on the local geopolitical situations and customs. A smile appeared on his face and his next words contained a hint of mirth. "Perhaps a better understanding than some of the lords here received from their expensive tutors."

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven

Elise blinked at the woman's very abrupt response, glancing towards Fionn as he responded, setting the plate down as she finished. There was a reason why she followed the man - he seemed usually more adapt at understanding people than she ever was - or at least better equipped to hold a more friendly conversation and make people feel a bit better about themselves. At least that's what she always thought and he did not disappoint in this case either, easily replying to Nak as if nothing was wrong what so ever, offering her that warm smile she had grown used to herself. All she could do is sigh softly and nod in positive reassurance. "Silence is more valuable than most think.." It was really all she could think to say.

"It's okay!" Scarlett interjected in a cheerful, comforting tone, perking up. "You're safe with us.." she said in a softer tone, almost alluding that she somehow understand the weight Nak carried. "I'll just protect you instead!" The redhead seemed to beam, though it was a soft sort of expression, almost like she truly believed it would all be okay.

Elise's gaze snapped to the Scarlett. "W-what? N-no..! You can't do that! You don't even know how to swing a knife!" The worry was clearly painted across her face now, her expression going slightly white at the idea.

"Huh?..." Tilting her head, the oblivious woman looked over to the bladeswoman. ".. well.. so? I can do something!" she reassured Elise, seeming fully confident in her non-existent abilities.

"I'm not... I'm not letting you do that.. ugh.." Elise rubbed the bridge of her nose, sighing with frustration. 'How can someone seem so wise and inspiring one moment and then seem completely crazy the next!? She's going to get herself killed one of these days..' she thought to herself.

Nak nodded once to Fionn as he spoke, at his reference to the education of Lords, a sort of smirk appeared on her features - but she didn't elaborate on it. There was no sense in dredging up her past. Certainly this group had not been to her world. She was little more than a stranger on the tides of a Nightmare.

That was - until Scarlett cheerfully interjected that she should then protect Nakreyya. The exchange between Scarlett and Elise made Nak chuckle softly, and she shook her head.

"Little One, I am not the person who needs protecting, or defending. I can walk in shadow, and I will survive. Your guardian is correct to caution you. If you cannot defend yourself, you cannot defend others. If you try to leap to action where you have no understanding..." Nakreyya spoke with slow, deliberate words -- but had to pause for a moment, as emotion welled in her voice. She took in and released a breath, and when she spoke again, it was with her same lilting calm. "People die in those situations, and it is not often easy to live with the consequences of what has come. If you wish to be a defender, I recommend that you ask Elise to teach you to fight. Until then, guard your own safety as though you were guarding the safety of those you care for."

Dwarven Ruins? TC tried to recall as much as he could about the ruins, bits and pieces overheard at The Plastered Fly. He had heard the same rumors as Fionn, encroaching undead, spectral lights. Young upstarts looking to form their reputations were taking forays out to halt the unearthed corpses, but TC had not heard talk of anyone coming back with the riches they found within. Dwarves, greedy bunch da lot of em, bet these ruins have quite the score, and I got myself a ready made team to get down there. This must be the job The Greedfather wanted me on,this must be my crew..

TC made sure every last morsel was gone from his plate as he listened to Nak list her resume. He nodded with approval. Every dungeon team needs a good trap-spotter and rope-worker, especially so in Dwarven holds. They were notorious for some very, ingenuitive solutions for intruders. She would be a good asset. The big guy looked like he could hold his own in a fight, as well as the one named Elise. But as for Scarlett, TC wasn't about to volunteer to babysit during this expedition. He fully believed that you have too look out for yourself. In the end that's what they all would do anyway. TC's mouth started to run as it usually does, spouting words as he thought them, with no concern if he offended. He spoke to Scarlett" Listen, to your elders sweetheart, it's a mean, nasty universe out there. You gots to learn how to take care of yourself, cuz ya big sister ain't always going to be there to protect you."

TC stood up from his spot by the fire, dusting off his pants and straightening himself up. The final check was running a small comb through his hair that disappeared as mysteriously as he produced it. He turned to Fionn, " Listen, when I said tour guide earlier, I meant of the dungeon delving variety. I know of these ruins, know em real well. How about I join youz guys. You could use somebody with some arcane knowledge, let alone someone who can hold their own in a fight against these rotters," a slow smile formed," plus I fit in small places. I can lead you all back to New Bastion, then north to the ruins. That fee would only be a gold a person, then finders keepers in the ruins. Small fee for a small man. Whaddaya say," TC shot out his small hand," we got ourselves a deal?"

Fionn Harken

There was silence for several seconds as Fionn stared at the diminutive man. He doubted TC knew the ruins themselves what with all the undead, but if he could lead them directly to the site it would save time and lives. Several farmers had already fallen victim to roving bands of zombies and skeletons.

An entire gold per person was also a steep price to pay, more than double what a good guide would cost. Granted most guides didn't have the breadth of spells the thief had. And he was offering to help them once inside the ruins. It was more like hiring a mercenary, a mercenary that had a keen mind for making extra money.

Plus it wasn't like Fionn was ever going to run out of money. With the M\E synthesizer on his ship he could print out literal tons of printed gold coins. Having that ability at one's fingertips tended to change their views on money.

Finally he took the offered hand, giving it a firm shake.

"What do you need back in New Bastion? We got everything needed for a ruin crawl before we left." He said with a gesture at the full packs all three carried. "Unless it's some sort of specialist equipment we should already have it. This isn't my first time doing this."

The demon was in an arkward position, and it knew it. Its trick hadn't come off as planned, and it now had a stab wound which it would have to stop ignoring at some point. Black, oily blood was leaking from its wrist, and both of its hands were occupied when Mergoux stabbed it in the neck. It choked and staggered, and was knocked off its feet to the floor when Nebullius made his attack. The demon recognised its defeat immediately as Nebullius approached to finish it off. Instead of trying to flee in vain, to preserve its life against all hope, it simply watched Nebullius, looking him in the eye as if daring him to kill it. It glared with a hatred unlike anything in the material world is capable of. It jerked as the staff's blades pierced its body, but did not die until they had left again. The malice in its eyes faded, and it finally fell still as its body became ash, dissipating in the wind.

Kobasratha cursed. His pet was gone. Yes, he had a soul in his castle to put to work, which his other self was doing immediately. But he had lost the influence on the material world, which was his chief concern for the time being. He needed more. And for that, he needed desire, the one downside of his ability being that he couldn't force it upon people. He couldn't exactly put out "demon for hire" posters, either. He decided to remain in the area for the time being, and hatch a plan to gain more influence.

Tiaz nods, thinking back to when he passed the fort by a few nights ago, knowing that he would be unable to find shelter there.
"Yes I know if it, you propose to assault this fortress? With only your creatures? I would be impressed by such a feat"
He nods, seeming to muse things over.
"Hm... We would need a way in. Assault them with all the undead you wish, but they will be useless against the walls of that castle. Thick stone is more than a match for zombies and skeletons, unless..."
He grins maniacally as a thought crosses him.
"We take the town first.. .that might give us the bodies we'd need to take the castle."

@LMPKIO @JaceBeleren
Mergoux slumps to the ground, still panting and gasping from being choked. Her helmet lies several feet away from her, and the great number of piercings in her elven ears sparkle in the light. She groans and picks herself up, then realizes her lack of head-covering and snatches up her helmet. She rams it back onto her skull and spits at the demon as it vanishes.
She then turns to Nebulius.
"...Guess I owe you then... that thing would have killed me or worse... Thanks..." she says reluctantly.

Elise Hartell & Scarlett

@CoyoteLovely@Silvan Haven@LPRKN

"L-Little one?" she repeated softly, looking at Nak with some measure of surprise, though it didn't seem to be a negative one, her cheeks even flushing slightly. Instead she just piped down for a moment and looked very thoughtful. Her demeanor slowly changed from this happy, cheerful girl to a more seriously thoughtful one the more Nak spoke. Her eyes flickered to the hobbit as he spoke as well, staring at him intensely before he continued on about offering his services. Elise pursed her lips as she watched her reactions changed, though her attention was torn as she heard the emotion in the elf's voice, offering an understanding look.

The conversation took a turn though as TC asked for a few gold pieces, making Elise raise her eyebrow at the small man. He was overpricing by quite a bit, though she wasn't all that surprised when Fionn accepted the deal. She took in a small breath and stood up, going to the river to wash her plate.

At the fire however, Scarlett just stared at her plate for a few more moments, the piece of meat only partially eaten. Silently, she pushed the plate aside, glancing to Nak with this.. determination in her eyes, a fire of sorts before nodding just once. "Fair enough," she admitted, though directed this more to the elf than the halfling. She turned to look over to Elise. "Please, the first chance you have, teach me how to use a blade."

Elise paused, looking back and blinking. "... you're serious?" To which Scarlett just nodded once. "I.. didn't think you wanted to learn.. huh.." She seemed to ponder for a moment. "Okay, let's clean up and then we can find a spot in the nearby woods." Scarlett seemed satisfied with this answer, giving the rest of the meat to the horse and following after Elise to clean her plate as well. As they both rinsed their plate, Elise looked over curiously to her companion. 'What's got her so serious, all of a sudden?...'

Before long, the two were coming back, to which the warrior motioned the redhead to pause for a moment. "Hey boss," she meant to get Fionn's attention. "I think she's quite serious about learning to defend herself - I think it's a great idea, so is there anything you need from us before we squeeze in some time?" She didn't mean to interrupt the flow of conversation, but needed to check in on the off chance Fionn had other ideas. Meanwhile, Scarlett stood silently, seemingly lost in thought but still aware.

Fionn turned when his companion spoke, glancing over at Scarlett when he heard Elise's words.

"I don't think anything else is going to come up tonight." He said. Before the warrior could turn to leave though, he continued. "Elise? Thanks for doing this. I know she will learn more with you teaching her."

Nakreyya stood as the conversation seemed to be drawing to a close, she was pleased the girl would be training. It would be good for her, considering the company she had decided to keep. Mentally, she assessed the group - she wasn't sure of Fionn's strengths yet - though he had a quiet presence about him, she would not be surprised if he used magic, or wielded a sword - or perhaps both. Elise appeared a capable fighter, that much was certain. Scarlett would likely learn a bit from each of the assembled, which may prove good for her in the long haul. TC... Nak was grateful she did not have much to take. His fingers were sticky - she recognized the type. However, he reminded her of Kalind from so long ago - a rogue, impish and brave... foolish, but pleasantly so. She could imagine they might become unlikely friends.

Nak dusted off her clothing, and set her notebook back in her pouch, "There is plenty more deer meat, whatever is not eaten tonight I will put out for drying tomorrow, to salvage for us to carry into the ruin. But do not let that stop you. I have two or three traps I have not checked that I will need to go break down before we leave. It is possible I have another animal to prepare for us. I fear that will take me some part of the evening - can we leave tomorrow?"

She moved to Anzu, who looked up at her as she approached him. He wasn't prepared for riding, but that was a small matter - she could do that in the morning. Nak operated on very little sleep - a side benefit of being an Elf. She ran her fingers over his fire mane, as though it were hair. It didn't burn her skin, but it felt warm, and licked at her flesh in a way she always thought of as pleasant. She wasn't sure if anyone else would agree.

Upon getting her answer about the leaving time, she nodded, and bowed lightly, "Then if you will excuse me, I shall go collect my things while there is still light." She reached up after speaking, and touched her eyepatch, scanning the area slowly before setting off to the North decisively.

Sucker. A gold a piece is at least double what some goon would charge. TC gave a winning smile and shook Fionn's hand with vigor."Ey! Then we got ourselves a deal." TC eyed their loaded packs and gave them a quick appraisal. They did seemed fully loaded, he had seen people leave The Plastered Fly with less. TC felt they could skip the city, and head straight to the ruins, it would save some time heading straight towards Antioch's Wall. "Yeah youz look set to go delving. Whoever your patron is dey look loaded. Come morning we can ride straight into Antioch's Wall, the mountains range where we can find this undead spewing outhouse."

He was glad that the girls seemed to take Nak's and his advice. Hopefully this crash course in combat would suffice to at least help her not get in the way. TC considered himself a "decent" enough person. He wouldn't want to see anyone get hurt or killed in there, but ,he would make sure it certainly wasn't his fault if something did. He would just need to keep an eye on her. We are about to walking into some unknown, undead, underground shit show, dis should have happened a long time ago.

TC was not gonna pass up seconds, it was against any and all halfling reasoning to do so. He picked up his plate, drew his dagger and hacked off a more then healthy portion. Slabs of meat hanging off the plates sides. As Nak, left to check her traps, TC whistled at here." Ey toots, you find any Parsepepper out der on your walkabout bring some back fer jerky." TC motioned like pinching something between his fingers and kissed it," Mwah! Just like Momma would make it."

He settled back at the fire. Putting his bedroll behind his head, he settled in to work on his plate.

Supreme Bishop Nebulius Suprema

Interaction: @Overlord Thraka (Thalia Coldstone); @Antarctic Termite (Smudge Pixelby); @JaceBeleren (Demon?)

Nebulius stabs the demon right in the heart as he pushes him down to the ground with his staff. As he looks down at his opponent, the demon didn't seem to try and flee, rather it accepted its own fate. The alien even thought that he was daring him to actually kill him...

As if.

And without any other hesitation, the staff's gem glows a bright white light, sizzling the demon's inside with holy magic as it slowly dissolves into ash and is blown with the wind. Nebulius stands up triumphantly as he digs the butt of his staff into the ground. As he looks down at where the demon once laid, he looks at Mergoux, who was just standing up, and notices that she's without her helmet. He can also notice the pointy ears that she has, along with the piercings that sparkle in the sunlight. It became clear to him that she was no ordinary "human". After she puts her helmet back on, she thanks Nebulius for the help.

"No need." he replies solemnly as he helps her up, "But... you don't seem to be human. What are you exactly?"

Once receiving an answer, he looks back at the girl with the computer screen on it.

"Now..." he sighs, "Where were we?"

Not far from where a band of adventures were conversing by their campfire, if they happen to look up, they would see a fairly large, animal-like, golden creature flying in the sky. This creature may look something like a golden flying lion to a good eye, but the altitude that it was flying hid its appearance for a moment. Once it seems to get down to a lower altitude, can they really see what it is. It's a golden sphinx, one that might've been reserved to being noted in ancient myths and storybooks. In fact, according to legends, she should be out in the far reaches of the scalding deserts, and not in the realm of lush green foliage. Yet here is one right now, a beautiful female, who just so happens to have glasses. She doesn't seem to take much notice of the travelers down below, as she prepares for a landing several tens of meters away from the campsite.

This is Shiluuki, a sphinx that has mastered the art of conjuring spells. This realm is not her home, rather its simply a random place that she was banished by the gods and goddesses of her home realm of Egytania. This is her sixth month being stranded here, yet she's slowly getting accustomed to the land around her. Once she lands, she conjures up a tiny portal and reaches into it. She grabs a particular red book with fancy engravings as soon as the portal closes and simply lies down to read it, fluffing her majestic wings as she makes herself comfortable.

Nak looked over her shoulder at TC's whistle, and one delicate eyebrow arched as he spoke.

"Ey toots, you find any Parsepepper out der on your walkabout bring some back fer jerky." TC motioned like pinching something between his fingers and kissed it," Mwah! Just like Momma would make it."

She turned around more fully, her expression never really changing, "Describe the plant for me, "TC", is it? And I shall endeavor to bring some back, as I do like to know which plants are edible in any given place I am visiting. May I also offer a word of caution, though. If you elect to call me 'toots' again, it will be at your peril. If calling me 'Nakreyya' is not to your liking, you may refer to me as Nak." She offered a not-entirely-pleasant smile, and incline of her head at the last part, and waited just long enough to get the description she needed before turning to start back out.

Mergoux glowers at Nebulius, furious about her identity being revealed, as it's one of her most guarded secrets that she keeps hidden from virtually everyone.
"...I'm a Half-Elf..."
She takes off her helmet and sighs as it does tend to hurt her ears, wearing it like she does. She's moderately pretty, but her face is marred by a scar leading from under her left eye to her jawline, and her expression seems to be a permanent frown.
She massages the tips of her ears which are slightly red from irritation and frowns down at Smudge.
"So. What'll we do with this one?"
