EDIT: Finished~ Sorry for the wait! Please let me know if I need to correct anything.
What's your name? "Cassidy Malloye, at your service~"
Anything I could call you for short? "Aye, I go by Cass or Malloye. Or whatever fits your fancy at the time."
Out of interest, how old are you? "Thirty-seven."
So what can you bring to my crew? "Now there is the question I've been waiting for~ Have you ever found yourself on the pointy end of a blade? Need a leg amputated? Or perhaps you took one bullet too many to the gut. Maybe you got a crew suffering from scurvy? Whatever be the ailment I got the cure! If you're in need of a ship surgeon, Mr. Roper...then look no further. Plus, I'm not too shabby with a blade." A cheeky grin curved his lips. "Though that be a trait that any surgeon should have. It would be a crying shame if they didn't!"
You got a picture of yourself? I need one for the documents.
So, what's your story?
"Ah, where should I begin?" The curly haired man leaned back in his chair in thought. "Well I suppose you can say I've been on the sea for a long time. Well, as long as I care to remember. When I was a welp I served as cabin boy upon a vessel long forgotten. The medic took me under his wing and taught me everything." A smile crossed his face in memory. "Ah, I miss the salty old codger. Any who, over the years I bounded from ship to shore...a man's got to travel, aye? And what better way to do that than the open seas. Of course I don't have to tell you that, do I Mr. Roper?"
His playful smirk subsided. "My last voyage didn't go as well as planned...I'm not even sure everyone survived." A pang of hurt flashed in the medic's eyes. He remembered the crash vividly. The sounds of his mates, the crash of waves, and the splintering of wood. "Our ship wrecked...on this island actually. Heh, not a very convenient way or making port, eh?" Among those that were missing had been his captain. The man had vanished almost as if in thin air. After hours of searching he had to rule that the poor man had been swallowed by the depths. A great loss if he said so himself. His gaze flickered back up to the man before and offered him a grin. "But that is in the past. So, Captain what do ya say?" His playful smirk back at full force as he stretched his hand out to the man. "Do ya have room for one more?"
