A Better World

I've had this idea kicking around in my head for a while and I'd really like to give it a try. I want to have an rp where the characters are literal gods (each of which can represent one or more aspects of reality) forming a world collaboratively. There's no limits on what your God's domain can be, it can be as broad as "Emotion" or "Time," or as specific as, "Nostalgia," or, "The past." I as the GM would play worshipers, enemies, and the civilizations that pop up in general, but this would involve quite a bit of character interaction with the gods bickering about how the world should go. Anybody interested?

If so, kindly post saying that you are and what domain(s) you'd like your god to have. These are subject to change, it's just so that no one comes up with the same thing.

lovely; just so that nobody comes up with similar basic character concepts, would you terribly mind posting what your domain would be? I.e. what you'd control. No rush of course, and we can do proper character sheet stuff once this gets off the ground.

That's an extremely broad domain since magic, if ill-defined, can do just about anything. I'd certainly accept domains of: Wizards, rituals, knowledge, lore, or even a specific type of magic (illusion, evocation, etc.) but magic is one of a small number of things that is too broad to be allowed.

I'd like to play a Goddess of Purity, I think.

Sounds like a lovely idea; keep in mind that you can have more than one domain if you want some related stuff for that.

Sounds like an overlap with the god of sin.

A curious point to compare with considering debauchery is on your list and a far closer relation.

But if I must draw a connection, debauchery has been connected to partying, and debauchery in a religious context is closely related to sin if one compares what defines both words.
