OOC GuidelinesThe premise is simple enough, but what about the gameplay?
1) Each of you will start in separate "cells" in a building.
2) In these cells, you must choose to either stay put or attempt escape.
3) Reputation points will be awarded by "thumbs-ups" on your IC posts.
4) Once you have sufficiently convinced the cult that you are willing to join, they will begin indoctrinating you.
5) For those of you bent on escape, your IC posts will get "laughed" at as you defy the cult.
6) When you have gotten a certain number of IC laughs, your character will be killed if they have not escaped in time.
7) If you do not do anything to warrant being laughed at by the cult, you may remain in their good graces without becoming indoctrinated.
8) But nobody stays with the cult for too long without becoming indoctrinated, or at the very least getting Stockholm Syndrome.
9) If you remain with the cult for too long without becoming indoctrinated or attempting escape, you will receive an IC "thank you."
10) This means your character has Stockholm Syndrome and no longer wants to leave. However, they are enamored with their captors, not brainwashed to have their crazy beliefs. So rehabilitation would be slightly easier if rescued.

Character Creation1) Due to the nature of the cult's leader, making a female character will keep you alive a little longer than if you play as a male.
2) Remember, you don't have any superpowers. However, depending on your character's personality traits, they might be prone to certain gifts and abilities that might help them later. This will be determined by the GM as needed.
3) Roleplay your character realistically. In a situation like this, "heroes" is an afterthought. Fear is the primary motivation.
4) Your character can be from anywhere in the world.
5) This is realistic modernish.
6) If your character dies, you may make another character.
