Well, it's not actually as bad as the description makes it sound. It's just that between her own stress and Roxy's, nothing is particularly appetising to Jess right now.

I am thinking this might be a good place to skip. Let them settle into a routine of sorts.

So how far are you comfortable skipping. I don't think Jess' mom will put them off long. So I am thinking no more than a week.

Yeah, they'd want to meet again fairly soon after all those years apart, so it'd just be a few days.

Yep! Moves us forward a decent amount while not going too far ahead.

Going with it's Thursday or Friday so the weekend isn't far away, if that's alright.

I am fine with skipping to the visit. Just not through it. I think the visit itself we need to do parts of.
