*Lecter puts another magazine into the M1911 and looks down at the corpse*
Lecter: It tried to escape. Seems like your Devil is still around.
*The Devil Hunter steps over to the corpse and slides the sword away with his boot before kneeling down in front of it*
Lecter: Does it need to be close to resurrect the dead?

*Mergoux frowns and kneels down, taking a sample of the black blood*
Mergoux: Depends... was it talking? If it was talking that means he's close, less than 10 miles

*She looks over at Lecter*
Mergoux: No, not that I know of, and he's a cripple too. Relies on a staff to walk since I f***ed his leg up.
*She strips Silvan of anything really worth keeping, including most of the armor on his legs and arms, all of which she stuffs into her bag, despite the fact that it obviously wouldn't fit*
*Finally when done she drags Silvan's body outside then returns to Lecter*
Mergoux: I've a proposal for you, if you're interested. I want to kill this b*****d once and for all, but I can't do it alone. Will you help me? I'll pay well.

*Lecter nods and shifts back to his human form*
Lecter: Deal. I could use a Devil to shoot right about now.

*Lecter grits his teeth as he turns around, facing the same figure that was at his bedside. Unbeknownst to him, the figure can only be seen and heard by him*
Lecter: I should shoot you instead. But that wouldn't be enough.

*She goes off, finds the gym and works out for a while before going to her room, bathing and going to bed*

*Iris goes outside for a walk and can be accompanied by Hanna if Lemonzest so desires*

*Lecter barely registers Merg leaving, as he's so focused on the figure*
Lecter: Be'lak. Manage to free yourself from Hell again?
*The figure chuckles and takes a step towards Lecter, who responds by raising his pistol at the figure*

*Karma tails after Iris, making her best efforts to avoid being noticed*

*Iris walks along, singing under her breath and just enjoying the sun and the day, she doesn't spot Karma as she steps into the woods.*
*She walks barefoot over roots and thorns, seemingly unbothered by them as she casually picks a few flowers here and there, eats a few wild pears and takes a dip in a stream*
*She also fails to notice that Karma isn't the only thing tailing her. Karma might be able to catch the occasional glimpse of a bush rustling, or a streak of orange as something darts from cover to cover*

*Mergoux wakes and goes through her morning routine*

*Horus goes to the kitchen to cook up some food for anyone who wants some*
