*She gets up and pokes her head into the kitchen, then growls and retreats at the sight of the Barbarians*

*The Tigerlady howls in pain, leaps up and tries to snatch Karma*
Tigerlady: Stoopid bird! Kill you!

*Iris scrambles to her feet and runs, only to slam into a much larger form. A giant male Weretiger, easily over 10 feet tall, grabs her by the throat*
Tigerlord: Heh heh heh... You try to escape? I think not.
*Iris scrabbles weakly at the huge paw-hand cutting off her windpipe*

Lecter: Not everyone can accept what you must do. Tell only those you trust.

*Karma gets grabbed and screeches at the Tigerlady while biting at her hands*

*Furia gets up hearing the growl and looks round*

*Nonac nods and seems relaxed to have grabbed a block of cheese and just starts eating the whole thing*

*The Tigerlady grits her teeth in pain and slams Karma into the ground a few times*
Tigerlady: Kill kill kill!
*She releases Karma as she loses a finger and then tries to jump on top of Karma, stomping her into the ground*

*The Tigerlord tosses the limp form of Iris aside and moves to help the Tigerlady*
Tigerlord: Sister! Bird give you trouble?

Horus: I see.
*He watches Furia closely, not quite at ease*
Horus: It's probably just Hanna... she's quite harmless, I assure you.

Hanna: Y-yeah... T-thank you again, f-for keeping my s-secret...

*Hanna turns away and bites her thumb off in front of Lecter*

*Lecter doesn't react outwardly at Hanna biting off her own thumb, but is surprised at her sudden openness*
Lecter: So that's how you keep yourself fed, without eating others. I would use this as proof that you're no monster. You choose to eat yourself instead of hunting humans. But can you eat anything besides humans?

*Karma's wings break as she's smashed, and tries to hop and glitter away from the werelords*
*The familiar turns her head to face the Tigerlady. Should their gazes meet, the Tigerlady would have images of disease and ruined forests and jungles, instead of the wars that Iris had saw*

*The Tigerlady blanches and falls back as the Tigerlord laughs and steps forwards*
Tigerlord: Little bird too much for sister?
*He raises one foorpaw then stomps down, trying to crush Karma*

*Furia looks over and seems unsure*

Rarely did harmless growl at me.
Track ernough to know a Growl rarely means good thing for hunter*

*heads to kitchen door and has a look out anyway, even of Harmless as cautious *

*Nonac shrugs eating through cheese block with good progress given up on Subtle*
She does as she likes. We free people, small clans, no kings.

*Karma is surrounded by a swarm of black fog, and is replaced by a woman wrapped in a mourning veil and dress. Her fingers extend into talons*
Consider it an honor. Now I want blood.

*Lecter frowns slightly as he gets an odd feeling, and looks down to see one of his hands in it's demonic form, with small claws replacing it's fingernails*

*She toddles into the library and reads a non picture book for once. But the story is to sad for her so she puts it away and goes back to picture books*

*Iris regains consciousness and starts to drag herself away. Her arm is bleeding badly from where she was bitten and she's pretty badly clawed up*

*The Tigerlord growls*
Tigerlord: No! She will be slave! Serve us!
*He steps forwards and rakes his claws across Karma's face and chest*
Tigerlord: You will die! Sister! Rise and fight!
*His sister is still curled on teh ground, whimpering *
