*Mergoux stares at Karma in confusion*
Mergoux: What the- Who's this?!

*Iris floats to the room and is probably deposited somewhere public*

*Karma just turns to face Lecter, not bothering to respond to Merg as she's not being respectful*
*Lecter just sighs*
Lecter: This is Karma. Something must've happened, if she needed to change.

*Mergoux folds her arms and looks at Karma*
Mergoux: I thought you was a bird, not a shape-changer. Do you know what happened here?

*Karma smiles at Mergoux, something that goes against her morbid appearance*
I am more than some shape shifter, girl. And yes, I do know what happened here. That rainbow skinned mortal was attacked by two cat people. Crude beasts, they wanted her as a slave. If it wasn't for me, she would be as good as dead.

*Furia heads out to main room to see what further she can learn of this land as Nonac sleeps in the room they took*

*Furia notices Iris and stands back and pokes her gently then jumps back not knowing of hostile *

*Mergoux frowns, remembering Iris*
Mergoux: yeah... I can see why they'd want her... But that just proves they're here! Who else was there!? Anyone?! Was there someone dressed in a purple robe?!

*Iris is pretty non-threatening considering she's half-dead, covered in her own blood and has a crossbow bolt in her ribcage*

*The robot holds it's position, but the three armored figures start to make their way to Lecter, Karma, and Merg.*
*They all move in a stealthy formation.*

*Jillian notices Iris flopping in the room, and runs over to help not even asking.*
*Starts trying to heal her wounds with her gunslinger training.*

*looks round seeing no attacker or signs of violence *

*keeps pressue on worst of wound to prevent worst bleeding and lets the gunslinger do most of the work*

Calm yourself. I saw someone with a purple cloak, called himself Tiaz. Now I suggest you treat me with respect, mortal. I find your fanaticism to be unappealing.

*Mergoux's expression turns frighteningly intense*
Mergoux: Where?! Where did he go!? Show me now!!!

*Karma frowns at Mergoux, and the smoke begins to thicken around her feet*

*Mergoux trembles in rage and takes a step towards Karma*

*Her fists are bawled and her entire body is on edge and tensed AF*

*Karma doesn't flinch as Mergoux comes closer*

*Karma flicks her wrist at Mergoux, sending a ball of smoke flying at her chest. Before it can come near her, a gray blur moves in front and parries the blow with his arm blade*
Lecter: Karma, enough.

*Furia relaxes as Iris is in the clear somewhat and main visible wounds have been dealt with *

*looks over at Jillina*
This place always so ... Busy. ?
*helps onto a sofa or such more comfortable than a floor if does and then heads to kitchen looking for some food*

*cruchs on some feral and shakes head before grabbing some fruit and sits eating piping open a ale*

*Mergoux loses it, jumping at Karma and attempting to seize her by the front of her clothes*
Mergoux: TELL ME WHERE THE B*ST*RD IS NOW!
*She shouts at Karma, demanding to know*

*Iris's breathing is calm and she appears peaceful now*

*A cold dread passes through Mergoux as she grabs Karma, and the Devil blows a breath of smoke into Mergoux's face*

*Lecter, now with his Devil Trigger active, looks between Mergoux and Karma*
Lecter: Both of you drop it. Mergoux, back down. Karma, can you show us the way Tiaz went?

*Mergoux lets go of Karma and staggers a few paces back then glares at her silently*

*A few miles away Tiaz is grinning wickedly as he stares into a bowl of water*
Tiaz: Togan... ready your sister... We have an escaped slave to re-capture...
*Togan nods and retreats further into their cave-home to find his sister*

*The three armored soldiers slowly walk up to Merg, Karma, and Lecter.*
*They simply watch them yell at each other wildly.*

*Karma smirks at Mergoux, pleased to see that she's stopped talking*
Yes, Lecter. He went that way.
*The familiar nods her head in the direction that Tiaz hobbled off to*
If I hadn't saved the mortal, I could have followed him. Kindness is a curse.

*Mergoux is already not listening, bending down low to track and not paying attention to anything else, therefor not seeing the 3 armored soliders*
*She mutters under her breath, acting totally, insanely focused on the task at hand*
