[IC] The Room

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris chokes back a sob as she sheds skin, revealing more scales underneath*
Iris: I- No! No don't come in!
*She rubs at her arms, tearing the skin away with newly clawed hands*
*She seems utterly reviled by her new appearance*
Iris: There's... nothing... nothing you can do...
*She tries to keep it together but is rapidly failing*

*Hanna saddens and takes a seat in front of the door*

Hanna: O-ok... I-I'll be right h-here if y-you need me...

[Overlord Thraka]

Iris: I-... Thank you Hanna...
*Iris spends the next few hours in the bathroom, shedding the rest of her skin and occasionally groaning in pain as her skull stretches and elongates*
*She showers for a long time, not wanting to leave and face Hanna and especially Horus*

*Every time Iris groans Hanna whimpers*

*She grabs the door handle on a few occasions, but she doesn't open the door*

*She eventually sits on Iris's bed and just waits for Iris*

*After a long time Iris pulls herself together, wraps a towel around herself and tries to open the door*
*She's not really bothered to dry herself off and she shredded her clothes when she shed her skin*
*Although it's hard to make out due to the malformation of her half-changed face*
Iris: H-Hanna? A-are you t-there?

*Hanna looks up for her position on the bed*

*Her voice sounds hazy and tired*

Hanna: Y-yes I-Iris.

*Hanna looks at Iris and gasps*

Hanna: I-Iris!?

*Tears well up in Iris's eyes as she slowly nods*
Iris: Y-yes... I-it's me...

*A small-ish figure slinks towards the room, dragging itself along on the ground*

*Hanna tries her best to hide her horror at the sight of Iris's face*

Hanna: O-oh g-god. Iris...

*Hanna gets up and slowly walks towards Iris*

*Her eyes water up and she goes to hug Iris*

Hanna: Y-you're g-going to be ok.

*John frown at the voice, and looks around.*
John: Real easy to say...
*He puts his quad barrel on his back, and draw his two trusty pistols.*
John: See what I can do...
*He jumps up, and fire a salvo of green bolts at the two black armored soldiers who scream in agony as the bolts punch through their chest.*

Robot: {Threat level -yellow-}
*The robot turns towards the room, and opens up with it's huge laser arms towards John's location.*
*The hail of laser easily chews through the wall, and John is forced to move.*

*The leader growls at being shot, but the 9mm rounds barely dent his armor. *
*He keeps scanning for Lecter gun at the ready.*
Leader: Human my ass...

*Jillian sleeping like a baby.*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Horus roars in fury and comes up behind the robot, trying to tear off or destroy at least on of the laser arms*
Horus: You leave that place alone!
*He grabs one laser arm, braces a foot against the robot's back and yanks hard, putting all his effort into tearing the arm off*

*Iris allows herself to be hugged but sinks slowly down into a sad little ball. Hanna can probably see bits of shed skin lying around in the bathroom*

*Hanna tries to stop Iris from curling up*

Hanna: T-talk to me I-Iris... I-It's all I-I can do to h-help...

*Hanna tries taking Iris over to her bed, but the new wing make her a little harder to move*

Lecter: Phsyically is a different matter.
*Lecter dashes out from behind a tree, firing the rest of his magazine while trying to get close enough to use his blade*

*Karma watches John fight the figures while perched on a high point*

*Robot gets on his robot laser forearms tron off, and it powers down immediately.*
Robot: {Pending review cancelled} {New objective!} -Kill unknown life form.-
*He brings his are maul around, and begins to throw electrified punches at Horus.*

*John pulls out his quad barrel again, and jumps out the window.*
*He runs over to one of the downed soldiers, and shoots him in his sternum.*
*The quad barrel fires spread shot beam of red, and white which eviscerates the downed soldier.*

*Leader brings his gun around, and tries to fire again at Lecter.*
*Lecters pistol does little damage to his armor.*

*Barbarians duck as laser fire starts taking the buildings and find cover*
*Have no idea what this is but have enough sense to realise its dangerous, and some kinda have no ope against this threat*

Out of one war and into another!

*Horse captain does same and makes a run for the kitchen*
*both sides relize they have no chance vs such techno magic*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Horus takes a hard punch and gets thrown back, cracking a few ribs*
*He winces and gets up then starts dodging and deflecting punches, looking for a opening to attack*
Horus: John you'd better have a damn good explanation for this!
*He focuses intently on his fight, trying to avoid being shocked*

Iris: Look what I've become... I'm a monster... a beast...

*Hanna grips Iris's arm firmly*

Hanna: No. No you are not! You k-know full well t-that you are not a monster! Being a monster is not about l-looks!

*Hanna shakes Iris lightly*

Hanna: Monsters are p-people like Jackson! And y-you are not like Jackson.

*It is obvious it pains Hanna to say Jackson's name*

Hanna: D-don't you dare compare yourself t-to him...

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris appears almost shocked by Hanna's outburst*
Iris: I-I'm sorry Hanna I'm just...
*She sighs and wipes her face*
Iris: Oh Danu... I can't even look at myself...

*Hanna hugs Iris again*

Hanna: D-don't be sorry. Just d-don't say that e-ever again.

*Hanna tries to hold back tears but fails*

*She doesn't openly cry but tears roll down her face*

Hanna: Y-you'll j-just have to... G-get used to the n-new you...

*She shivers as that's exactly what Jackson said to her once*

*Iris nods and weakly gets up to stand on the bed, she wobbles, still not used to her tail which is about 2 feet long now and hangs down from underneath the towel*
*She sits on the edge of the bed and just holds Hanna close, happy to have someone there with her, even if it's not Horus*
Iris: I-I won't...
*She sees Hanna crying and hugs her tightly*
Iris: I guess you're right sweetie... you're right...

*Furia looks over from cover*

And why is this man worth Attcking metalic deamons?
