Bio:
Richard spent most of his life travelling, never staying in one place for too long. His mother, Selina, had tried to give him a normal childhood and fulfill her role as a mother, but by the time he was two and learning to walk, the monotony was driving Selina mad. To maintain some semblance of sanity, Richard's mother began raising him in her own unique way, training him in acrobatics and taking him to see the many corners of the globe.
It was just a coincidence that they happened to travel to places that held precious items Selina wanted to steal.
On his sixth birthday he was suddenly sent to stay with his Aunt Zatanna for a while, as his mother had to travel away "for work", shich involved infiltrating The Society and attempting to warn Batman of the imminent arrival of Brainiac. It was while staying with his 'Aunt' in the Tower of Fate that his abilities first surfaced, namely during a destructive tantrum due to not being able to go with his mother. Upon Brainiac's defeat and his mother's return, she immediately went about raising him with his newfound abilities in mind. Instead of travelling to areas with riches she wished to steal, she instead traveled to the impoverished parts of the world, showing Richard how he could help the forgotten and downtrodden, instilling in him a sense of duty.
When he was eight years old, Selina took him on his first heist.
She introduced him to the world of burglary, taught him stealth and how to fence stolen good and she then showed him the importance of giving that wealth to those who had nothing, to the lower class and the homeless. She told him of the importance of stealing from those who had more than they needed and gave nothing back. Essentially, Selina Kyle raised Richard to be a modern-day Robin Hood.
It was shortly after his 19th birthday that Richard began asking the questions Selina feared he would. Who was his father? Why did she never speak of him? Where was he? Why did he have these abilities? It was then that Selina made a deal with Richard. If he and graduated from the Oliver Queen Memorial School, she would answer all of his question.
Richard readily agreed to the challenge.

Name: Alura Bruce-Wayne
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Alias: Sunbird
Parents: Bruce Wayne and Kara Zor-El
Powers & Abilities:
Genius Level Intellect: Being trained by the Dark Knight himself in various fields, Alura Bruce-Wayne is shown to have a naturally high level of intelligence, though not as high as Batman's own.
Tactical Analysis: Alura Bruce-Wayne was taught in various fields by Batman and as a result, is a capable tactician. In addition to that, she is skilled in reading the body motions of others, using this skill to aid in defeating multiple armed opponents and anticipate an opponent's next move.
Investigation: Being trained by the World's Greatest Detective, Alura is known to be an excellent detective.
Martial Arts: Being trained rigorously by Batman in martial arts, Alura has extensive martial arts knowledge, holding a black belt in numerous styles.
Weaponry: Due to her training with Batman, Alura is well versed in many melee weapons such as staffs and bladed weaponry such as swords. She prefers to fight unarmed however.
Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Alura possesses the same potential powers as an average Kryptonian. These include:
- Solar Energy Absorption
- Heat Vision
- Super-Hearing
- Enhanced Vision (Includes Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision, Telescopic Vision, X-Ray Vision, Microscopic Vision.
- Invulnerability
- Superhuman Stamina
- Superhuman Strength
- Superhuman Speed
- Superhuman Reflexes
Alura is also effected by green kryptonite, but to a lesser degree. She does not double over in discomfort or pain, but is rendered powerless while in its presence, much like red sun radiation, which also has the same effect. Gold Kryptonite can also permanently depower Lara, although it is unknown what effect other Kryptonite strains will have on her hybrid physiology. Pink Kryptonite has been known to make Lara laugh uncontrollably, however.
Appearance:
Bio:
Alura Bruce-Wayne was born as the result of union of Kara Zor-El and Bruce Wayne following the defeat of Brainiac. Bruce saw in Kara not only the potential that his former friend Clark possessed, but also the ability to deal with grief and loss, something Clark Kent had lacked during his life, which ultimately led to his downfall. He also saw in her the strength to deal with his own enemies who would inevitably attempt to harm him through his loved ones. A benefit of kryptonian physiology.
Kara likewise saw in Bruce the ability to build a better world, a world protected not by tyrannical rule, but by intelligence, planning and foresight, traits that her late uncle had possessed which had led to both herself and her cousin escaping the destruction of Krypton.
Kara's pregnancy however was entirely unplanned, which was surprising for Bruce Wayne considering the level of control he liked to exert over himself, but not entirely unheard of when one considered his other child, Damian Wayne. It seemed that no matter what, Bruce Wayne had a poor track record when it came to unplanned children. At first he was concerned that history would repeat itself, given the reason for Clark Kent's descent into tyrannical madness, but Kara was quick to remind him that she and Bruce were no strangers to loss. He had lost his adopted son, Dick Grayson, during the beginning of the Regime, and even his own biological son. Yet he had persevered. Likewise, she had watched her entire species perish and lost her own cousin to similar circumstances, but it had merely strengthened her resolve to protect Earth and recognize the lines that she should never cross.
Bruce relented.
Nine months later, Alura was born, named for her grandmother and given the name of her father, as per kryptonian naming conventions. Her formative years were largely uneventful. The recently retired Bruce Wayne took on a more public role, acknowledging that with the new Justice League and the efforts to rebuild a world ravaged by both Brainiac and Superman, the world needed Bruce Wayne more than it needed Batman. He found himself taking on more of a fatherly role and on some days he would look in the mirror and see a little more of Alfred in him each day. It was when Alura was four-years old however that her kryptonian powers began to manifest.
Much to Kara's disdain, Bruce had been preparing for such an eventuality. He had discovered that green kryptonite did not cause the same reaction with Alura as it would Kara, merely de-powering her as long as she was exposed, and had fashioned a pair of green kryptonite earrings for his daughter to wear. Just enough to suppress her powers, but not enough to affect her mother.
Kara, initially furious that Bruce had been exposing their child to kryptonite without her knowledge, eventually yielded to Bruce's reasoning: Their daughter needed to experience life as a normal, vulnerable person first, much like Kara had during her childhood. She needed to experience pain, injury and sadness to develop into an emotionally-healthy woman. She needed to know how to overcome fear and the feeling of hopelessness and see the world from a more human perspective.
And she did.
For the next ten years, she experienced a life with human limitations. She was trained by her father to rely on herself and her own skill rather than the powers she did not yet know she already possessed. She scraped her knees, endured paper cuts, dealt with the loss of family pets, all while being raised by her superhero mother, cowl-less father and Justice League family. Until the day her parents sat her down and told her the truth.
They had raised her believing her powers could manifest at any time, but in reality that had manifested a decade prior. They told her the truth about her earring that she never took off and the reasons for their use. And they told her of what would come next. THey wanted her to enroll in her fathers school, to learn to control her abilities around others like her. They had always raised her to know what it meant to be a hero, but now they wanted her to truly know what that meant. Ultimately, the decision was hers. She could keep the earrings on and live her life as a human, she could even ask to be de-powered permanently if she wished, or she could enroll in her fathers school and take her first steps towards becoming Earth's newest protector.
Being the daughter of Supergirl and Batman, her answer was simple.
