It's been twenty-four years since The Last Laugh, the day the Metropolis nuke was detonated, killing four million people and setting in motion the chain of events that would lead to Superman creating the tyrannical One Earth Regime. Events that led to the death of not only villains like the Joker, but also superheroes such as Shazam, Guy Gardener, Green Arrow and Huntress. Five years after Superman's rise to power, the unmasked Batman, revealed to be billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, was able to contact and recruit the aid of several counterparts from a parallel universe who were able to aid him in overthrowing the kryptonian tyrant. For five more years Superman and most of his allies, one of whom was Batman's own son, Damien Wayne, were held in the Red Sun Prison complex. It was with the arrival of Kara Zor-El, biological cousin of Clark Kent, and Brainiac, the obsessive collector of civilizations, that Superman was released in order to combat this new threat.
In the wake of Brainiac's invasion, Superman was permanently stripped of his kryptonian powers and imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. Kara Zor-El, having realized the truth about her cousin, joined the reformed Justice League, now led by Bruce Wayne and focused on not only protecting, but rebuilding Earth. Joining them were other heroes such as The Flash, Firestorm, Blue Beetle and even reformed criminals such as Captain Cold.
There was still opposition, however. Wonder Woman, having returned and conquered Themyscira, slaying the Sons of Themyscira in the process, had allied herself with Black Adam and Damian Wayne, all of whom sought to free Superman and return him to power. Others, such as Cyborg, had left Earth with the goal of restoring civilizations that had been previously collected and preserved by Brainiac.
But despite all this, Batman was always planning ahead. He knew the day would come when the world would be threatened again, be it by Superman or some other force. He knew that the best possible action would be to train the next generation of heroes. To educate them and ideally prevent history from repeating itself. To lessen the likelihood that others would make the same choices as Superman, or even his own son.
And so, nineteen years after the detonation of the Metropolis nuke, Bruce Wayne, having hung up his cowl in recognition of his advancing age, founded the Oliver Queen Memorial School, a place where meta-humans and gifted individuals could train and learn, to better prepare the next generation for whatever may come next.

Ok, so it's your stock standard superhero academy RP. Original characters are fine, children of established heroes and villains are fine too. The setting is a post-Injustice 2 world with the Batman Ending as well as a few of the Multiverse Character Endings thrown in here and there. Most combat will be training and there will be more of a focus on character interaction, so don't expect a combat-heavy RP. There will be non-training combat, but it'll be a slow build.
I would prefer to keep the characters DC-exclusive. I realize that the inclusion of Mortal Kombat characters in the game (as well as the existence of a multiverse) opens up the possibility of crossovers, but this RP is DC focused.
With that in mind, if you would like to RP villain instead of a hero, that's okay too. You could be infiltrating the school, trying to turn over a new leaf or you were ordered there for community service, it's up to you.
Rules
1. No god-modding, obviously.
2. If you need to leave the RP for whatever reason, tell us.
3. The GM has the final say but will take all ideas and opinions into consideration.
4. 18+ relationships are permitted if both players are okay with it, but the 18+ content MUST STAY IN PM'S A.K.A Behind closed doors. If for some reason you think this content is important for the GM or Co-GM's to know (I can't imagine why, but the possibility exists) then PM a copy of the interactions to the GM or Co-GM but only with permission from all parties involved in the interaction.
5. It's an Injustice RP, so people will die. NPC's or otherwise.
6. Add the line "It's a good day to die" at the beginning of your character bio so I know you read these.
7. Keep any and all drama private (with the exception of in-game and in-character drama, obviously). If you are having issues with someone, PM them. DO NOT make an OOC post that drags people into the pointless internet drama. If you can't resolve things, then PM the GM or Co-GM. We're here to RP, not to bicker. If anyone is involved in public, OOC drama, all involved will be given ONE warning and be asked to take it to the PM's. After that, if there is more drama you character WILL be killed. I would rather wipe out everyone and start the RP from scratch than stress about something as pointless as an online squabble. Warnings MAY be revoked on a case-by-case basis.
