Liz shook her head after Axel left. Love would be nice but she wasn't sure they could afford nice. But for now she wasn't ready to push the issue. They had time, not much but she would take advantage of what they did have to see if anyone took an interest in repopulating the world.
"Well, you need to protect yourself, don't you?" Candi said and put an arm around Caoro's shoulder, "It's alright, want to work on the garden?"

Caoro nodded, and smiled a bit she walked outside. "Lets get the garden ready."
"So, tell me what to do," she said and smiled, "I may be good with my hands at art, but I know nothing of gardening."

"You would have to ask Emily, I was doing some other stuff on the roof." Caoro was making the plans for a small playground. She had helped build the one at her orphanage and the 'kids' would probably want something to do.
"Well, I guess I'll help you with whatever you're going to be doing, so what can I do?" she gripped her backpack straps and rocked back and forth on her heels.

Caoro smiled. "I am making a playground, and maybe a practice area. We need a lot of other building supplies though."
"Playground, that's great," her eyes brighten, "I could paint some of it, and what do you mean a practice area, for what?"

"To train others to fight, maybe even the kids once they are older." Caoro thought about it, she didn't know what had gotten into her but she shook it off.
"It's necessary," she replied, "So, where do we get supplies? And what do you think about the whole kids thing?"

Caoro shrugged. "Its a mandatory thing, I personally think we should go one at a time so we aren't all useless." She thought about becoming a mother but she pushed the thought away. "What do you think?"
Marco finished his shower, after a bit of just thinking about how the earth was before. Outside of the bathroom window, he saw a newcomer arrive, that couldn't have been more than fifteen or so. He went outside, and noticed that a door was a bit opened. He looked inside, and saw a painting of an orphanage. He closed the door and went outside of the apartment. He noticed the newcomer and Caoro talking about something. "Is there anything I can help with?" asked Marco.
She looked at Caorco, "I really hope I don't have to be part of that, I'm only 14," she said with a frown, "but I think SOMEONE needs to carry on humankind." she then saw the boy and said "Hi! I'm Candi," she said and smiled brightly. She stuck out her hand that was still covered in paint

She looked down at the worked they'd done. They had a nice top soil layer now, ready for seeds and watering. The rest would be up to the plants. She'd noticed the man as well as the child come talk to them but was so into her work she didn't really take the time to talk to them. The man had even been so nice as to introduce himself. She felt kind of... rude. Oh, well. There would be time to mend things later.
She took the seeds from her bag and began to plant them, giving them the amount of space they needed. Caoro had asked if she'd done this a lot but she didn't really have a chance to answer before the girl took off with the newer child. "My dad and I did it together.." She mumbled to herself as she dug in the dirt with her hands, placing seeds. She smiled at it all. She'd always loved dirt and mud. Maybe she was just that kind of girl. When she finished planting everything, she sat back with her camera and took a picture of it, looking through the lens with her clear brown eyes. She sighed, looking at her picture and then got up, getting the water-can and filling it nearby. Slowly, with a smile on her face, she watered the newly planted seeds. She was alone but that was how it usually was anyway. She needed to get this done soon, however. It was starting to get a bit dark out and she needed to go to sleep. As if on cue, her stomach rumbled. She chuckled at herself. Seemed she needed to eat to. Some water would probably help as well, she was getting dehydrated.
She got up and made way for the warehouse, waving at those she saw. She grabbed a bottle of water and a granola bar and walked over to Liz. "You doing alright?" She asked with a smile on her face as she got closer. She stopped just short of Liz and sat down on one of the cardboard boxes.

"Emily." Caoro stated simply.
"She must like plants," Candi said thoughtfully. She saw Emily's expression while gardening and noted in her mind to draw her later. "So, materials."

Liz smiled tiredly at Emily. She must look really bad if people kept asking if she was ok."Just trying to figure out the fate of mankind. I never imagined I would spend the day trying to figure out how to survive."
"Caoro, where do we get materials?" she asked
