unearthed Arcana is allowed as I was asked back in the interest check, as for the magic items the only reason i allowed them is the fact they cannot be used or sold, her character cant use armors or weapons it would appear.. @JBRam2002
they are classed as "loot" so like a treasure chest
If i got that wrong please correct me
My comment is more that the info he has is not from UA. Also, even if one cannot use magic gear, they can eventually sell it most likely. Even if not, it's gear he doesn't have to buy later. His net worth is currently close to 3k gp whereas the rest of us are closer to 100 gp.
To add: the barbarian features that he shows do not meet the flavor or balance of 5e. He has effectively spell resistance, which doesn't exist in 5e. There are very few things that add or subtract a simple number to anything (except proficiency or stats). He has -4 INT and CHA, which is only "offset" by his +4 Intimidation (not a fair balance).
In addition, his "powers" do not exist in 5e. The casting time makes no sense (measured in seconds, not action type, and doesn't fit 5e's rules). The bonuses and penalties make no sense for 5e (bleed damage doesn't exist). Dragon Drums uses an opposed check instead of a spell save DC, etc.
These effects look like someone's unbalanced homebrew, not UA. If I am wrong (I'm 99% sure I'm not), then please provide a link to the UA. In the meantime, the only non-core subclasses for Barbarian I'm aware of are in SCAG pg 121 (Battlerager), UA: Revised Subclasses (Ancestral Guardian), and UA: Barbarian Primal Paths (Storm Herald and Zealot). None of them allow any spellcasting while raging, and none have any bleed mechanics.
