I changed SFC Park's primary weapon from an HK416 to an FN SCAR-L since according to HeySeuss' timeline in this RP, Heckler & Koch are now producing firearms for the Warsaw Pact rather than NATO.

Yeah, pretty sure Heckler and Koch weaponry show up in the GDR arsenal. Odds are, so does the MG3. The 416 was designed with input by Larry Vickers, so I think that it's possible that another company worked up the concept. There's a bunch of them producing M4 type weapons with pistons or rotating bolts rather than direct impingement, so such a thing is possible.

Could easily work out that she's from another cell and moves over to theirs for some reason. We can create a casualty situation, like a firefight with GDR troops, that would make her a survivor looking for another unit.

Not sure the Rangers would be breaking up like that though. I suppose if we decided that the Burlington raid went bad, sure.

Edit: And if that makes more plot sense, we can certainly have casualties from the Burlington Raid.

No, you're right. They are sure to maintain squad integrity after the raid.

I tend to watch the History Channel and/or the Military History channel quite frequently. I know, big surprise. I saw this WWII Veteran; former 101st Airborne Infantry and Bastogne survivor. After the 10th Armor and 26th Infantry Divisions relieved them at Bastogne, he read an account of the fight in Stars & Stripes where Patton's 3rd Army "Rescued" the 101st Airborne Division on the 26th of December 1944. He and his brothers in the 101 were offended by that statement. At no time did any of them feel as though they required "Rescuing". He adamantly stated they had a lot of fight left in them and could fight on. Also, he said that if they had eight guys in their squad, they were doing well, when the squads were authorized twelve. The guy said they were constantly being killed. They had cherries that were assigned to the unit in the morning and dead by nightfall. They typically had only four or five guys in a twelve man squad. So yea, these guys are going to take some losses. We may find a squad fragment; nothing more than a fire team working with the cell.

History:

Jane was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia to an engineer father and a nurse mother. She is an only child, and despite missing out on the sibling experience, she considers her childhood to have gone extremely well. In school, she was immediately drawn to the arts. Jane found she had a natural talent for drawing and she would practice just about every chance she got. Her parents were extremely supportive of their daughter and would often encourage her to join an art club or maybe go out more and meet people with similar interests and talents, but Jane didn't necessarily take their advice to heart; she preferred the quiet, private lifestyle she had known so well throughout the years. When Jane was in her senior year of high school, she received a scholarship to the School of Visual Arts in New York, and once the time came, she left home for the first time.

During her second year of schooling in New York, Jane became a tattoo apprentice at a shop near her school. Within a matter of months, she was promised a permanent, full-time position provided she completed additional training to gain a better understanding of the industry. It was then Jane made school her second priority, and her schedule switched to part-time classes which allowed her more time at the shop. While her parents were supportive of her decision, they nonetheless reminded her of the importance of school, the same old speech Jane always received. She promised them that she'd stay in school, and she kept her promise. By the time she graduated, she was one of NYC's favorite new tattoo artists, and her clientele only grew the more publicity she received.

Fast forward nearly a decade later when Jane's life came to a complete halt. The invasion wreaked havoc on her life, as was the case for just about everyone else. Being that she didn't have any family in the states, Jane's immediate goal was to make her way back to Canada one way or another, but that proved harder than she'd imagined. She knew she wouldn't last long, and as she made her way north, she eventually joined one of the smaller resistance cells. Everything was going as well as one could expect if the country you're living in has been invaded, but that changed when the group got to Vermont. Just about everyone within that resistance cell was killed or gravely wounded, and unfortunately, Jane wasn't spared. She's clinging on for dear life and even though she believes she could recover, time isn't on her side as troops could easily close in on her location.

Psychological Profile:

Jane is not a woman of many words. While she's not anti-social by any means and can get along with just about any social circle, she prefers to listen rather than contribute to a conversation. Given her non-confrontational nature, Jane will avoid fights or unnecessary arguments and instead, she'll attempt to resolve the issue in a civilized matter. Since the invasion, however, Jane's attitude has shifted slightly to better suit her surroundings. She's much more outspoken whenever she believes she's right, and her patience tends to run short quite often.
