Ally continued to walk towards the figures, hoping they would be friendly. When she got close enough to see their faces and clothing attire more clearly, she frowned. No friends would be wearing these. These had to be the convicts. Her muscles tightened, as she realized these two men would be out to kill her. She gulped and approached them with more caution.
The obesity and grease of his hair disgusted the girl, but his neck twitches startled her. These convicts were here to kill her, but what kind of death were they planning on giving her? Before her mind could wander off to the possibilities, she refocused on the two men standing before her.
The second, more lanky man did not intimidate her, though she knew not to underestimate him. The voice never said the convicts wouldn't be armed and this man looked like the type to bring a gun to a knife fight. Although she was confident her metal form could defend against a knife and a bullet, she couldn't hold the form forever, especially if this simulation would last a full day. She thought out her options. Turn metal now and waste precious energy, or stay human but also stay vulnerable. In the end, she chose to stay normal until the metal form was absolutely necessary.
This was when the bald man began to talk. He sprinted at her, but Ally had more than enough time to react. As he sprinted, she breathed, clearly and calmly. She watched him draw back his fist, readying an enormous punch. The girl knew if she let him hit her, she would be dazed, possibly even out cold. As his fist flew forward towards her face, she too moved forward, placing her hand towards the inside facing part of his neck and her leg between his legs. She used her and his force to trip and send him flying to the ground. With all of the speed and force, he fell with a loud thud! She pressured her knee into his stomach, knowing this wouldn't terribly injure him, but would hurt like heck.
"This is how you get less time? By hurting others?" Ally shouted at the bald man, punching him in the face as hard as she could. "How does it feel to be hurt?" she asked, striking him again. She punched him three more times, but seeing blood trickling from his nose prevented her from sending another strike. Despite knowing this was a man who tried to kill her, she felt bad and though she might not admit it, she was subliminally holding back power.
Quickly, she stood and faced the fat convict, trying to figure out how to tackle the problem. I'll have to go metal, I can't lift 500 pounds! she thought, preparing for any kind of attack he might perform. She also hoped the man on the floor didn't get back up and learned his lesson.
