First Class Paula Dean stood, as if brooding over the window. The young woman had been assigned to look over the new Qs squad, after having worked as the squad leader for the Q1 squad two years prior. All the members of the third formation of the squad had already settled in the night before, but in all likelihood, they had yet to meet. She thought back to her first night at the chateau. She hardly had the energy to go up to her room, let alone meet the people she'd be spending the next year with. She let out a brief chuckle as she reminisced about the time she spent with her old friends in that room she was waiting, where they had found their supervisors as well. She looked down at the files she had in hand. There were a few starting cases assigned to them that they could start from. Most newly formed squads wouldn't get anything above A rates, but the Qs squad had received a single S rate to deal with at the beginning of each new squad's formation. However, it only seemed fit that their first case be a relatively simple one. A ghoul of an A rate shouldn't be too difficult for a Qs squad of four to handle, she thought, singling out one of the files in her hand. She started to inspect it, waiting for one of her new squad members to arrive to the meeting.
