--------
Costumed Appearance: Havoc dons his typical combat equipment when the time calls for it. He goes without helmet, keeping his messy dark hair free, and without a chest plate either. He wears a thick red cape from his shoulders, and a pair of metal shoulder plates. He wears bracers, boots, and a belt of the same material, and a dark traditional skirt around his waist. He carries an enchanted warblade and shield, with an attached sheath for each.
Civilian Appearance: As Kassan adjusts to an Earthling lifestyle he picks up more and more modern tweaks to his appearance; firstly being simple clothing, and his perma-tan begins to lighten from spending more and more time indoors and properly sheltered from the sun, then he acquires a nose piercing, and starts to keep a neater beard.
Icon: Two crossed spears, and behind them a simplified shape of a sun.
Costumed Personality: Havoc is a skilled strategist, and faces his opponents with a keen mind and sharp eyes. Sometimes he is brash and flies headfirst into the chaos, but usually he’s thoughtful and unyielding, resolute in his goals and decisive in his actions.
Civilian Personality: There is little difference between Havoc and Kassan, at least at first, but as time goes on and the ‘unmasked’ version of himself is able to move more freely he becomes more relaxed and open, indulgent of the world he's taking a break from conquering.
Super Abilities:
-Skills:
- Warrior Training: Kassan has been trained by his people's greatest warriors, and has skill with all the weapons of war they use; bows, spears, swords, and shields, axes, etc., but has not had training with modern weapons such as guns, not that much training is necessary for such easy weapons.
- Tactician and Strategist: Not only has he been trained to use his mind for war and battle, but he is (un)naturally gifted in the art as well.
- Occultist: Living in a society used to the old ways, when magic was still prevalent, powerful, and respected, Kassan has had a significant education in the mysteries of magic.
-Powers:
- Divine Empowerment: Upon his ‘birth’ Kassan was gifted by several gods with a superhuman, or more accurately, a demigod physiology, with such capabilities as superhuman strength, durability, speed, reflexes, stamina, and agility. ((Note: There’s better-than-human speed, and then there’s the Flash, this is not the Flash.))
- Flight: Kassan is also gifted with the ability to fly unaided.
- Superhuman Healing: Kassan is able to renew himself and heal his wounds using the etheric energies between worlds. He also has immunity to most toxins and poisons.
- Empathy: Kassan is ‘cursed’ with an innate connection to other living things, able to sense their emotions and kind-of communicate and manipulate them.
- Dimensional Traveling: Kassan is able to travel to several mythical realms and dimensions associated with his people’s culture, though not places his people have not discovered, such as eastern spirit realms or even nordic ones, but planes associated with Mediterranean cultures are usually open to him given enough need.
-
Weaknesses/Vulnerabilities/Power Negations:
- Blades: While blunt force is more easily held off, Kassan has little resistance against a sharp edge.
- Etheric Bond: Kassan uses the energy between worlds to heal himself, if cut off magically from that source he’d be unable to heal.
-Gadgets:
- Plate of the Makhai: Kassan’s armor was created by the Makhai, spirits of battle, and gifted to him by their mother Eris.
-Weapons:
- Warblade of Nemesis: Forged of enchanted, indestructible metal and able to shapeshift into various weapons of war, everything from a bow to an axe, or a sword or shield.
- Skyshield: An enchanted shield, forged where the sky bore down on Atlas, made dense and unbreakable from the magical process that created it.
Civilian Occupation: Arkosian Prince
Biography---------
Character History/Origin:
Kassan’s people were created over a thousand years after the Amazons, their existence made in response to the fall of Greece to the Romans, and the trifling and chaotic time that ensued thereafter. A schism came about among the gods, though the fall of Greece and rise of Roman personas was but a small point in the many arguments. Colluding with the more chaotic members of the pantheon, Ares and his allies devised a plan to create an army loyal only to them, which would go forth to take over the world so they could rule it as not only gods, but kings. Their decline was unsalvageable though, as when their idea began to gain momentum through coercion and trickery, they started a brawl among the gods that would leave the newly finished island of warrior men trapped beyond the world’s reach, and it's populace cursed to be empathetic to others so as to harm their effectiveness as mindless bloodthirsty warriors. The plot was defeated, for the moment, but not beyond salvaging.
In the beginning the gods behind the island’s creation visited often, teaching their people the lessons they valued, and outlining their purpose. They named the land Arkos, and the people there were gifted with everything they could want or need. Nearly a century after the first men were created Kassan was sculpted from clay and given life by Ares and Aphrodite, and blessed in turn by each of the war god’s allies. He would be their champion, and he was to be raised by the Arkosian king Chrysetos, and trained to be the gods’ weapon against the mundane human empires- and the other gods that would stand in their way.
As time went on however, the gods visited less and less, the ley lines of the world had grown too weak to power any methods of travel, and while the gods had little trouble with it their army remained trapped, forever preparing for an event that was getting further and further away the weaker the planet became.
So the Arkosians remained in their ‘paradise’, an island forever cast with an empty night sky, no sun or moon, only a cycle of light and dark with no apparent source. They had abundant food, the sea never lacking fish, the farms never suffered famines, nor were their seasons, no rain or snow or even thunderstorms, and the mines never lacked ore, the forest always grew back, the earth never shook. Despite the perfect picture the idea made, their home was constantly under threat, invaded by monsters and demons of other realms, and while the Arkosians never aged or fell ill, their skill as warriors was always being tested, and all too often they failed. So was the cycle; babies were sculpted from clay, or brought to the island, and all were made warriors, and lived their lives until the next invasion, their numbers on a slow but steadily rising trend. The island had other mysteries however, not all of which were known by the Arkosians, such things as time moving faster for the world outside, and betrayals from within causing violence amongst their numbers.
Kassander grew to love his family, his people, and their gods- especially those that were his creators. He dedicated himself to his mission, and prepares himself for the day the ley lines are strong enough for him to carry out his first task and cross over to the human world.
