An extremely forceful, and rather fiercely independent young woman; Erin has always been noted as a relatively hard working, though quite the cold-hearted individual by all those who are lucky enough to get to know her. Holding a rather vast intelligence behind her sturdily built up walls, and quickly defensive nature, Erin has proved, thanks to her many years living within the camp, time and time again to be exceedingly studious whenever she feels the need to be so; her rather, at most times, bad temperament coupled with her readily relied on intuition helping her to both deduce, and to seek out information that most others would have missed out on otherwise- the young demigod not above using methods that would otherwise be considered... unorthodox by others in the camp in order to get just what it is that they need.

While at most times she is seen to show an immense amount of both social conscience and tenacity, with, on the rare fleeting occasion, a slight social awkwardness that has been brought on due to her many years of both physical and mental abuse; Erin's strong emphasis upon logic has, more times than none, made her quite the skeptic about accepting almost anything without first being presented with any form of rational proof, or hard physical evidence- nevertheless, as her years spent living within the safety of the camp has continued to grow in number, she had begun to both see and learn more about the strange world that she is apart of, and as such, has shown that she is willing to try and adapt by accepting things as they are, and to now come to intuitive conclusions about the problems and obstacles presented to her throughout her life... however, it is clear to all that know her that this particular concept is still rather new to her, and something that even she herself knows she needs to continue learning and practicing.

Rarely ever showing others around her the rather high sense of responsibility that she feels due to being a child of one of the "big three", or the dreaded fear and scarring terror that she holds deep inside thanks to her abusive past, Erin seldom ever regrets any of the choices she has made in the past which have led her to where it is that she stands in the present- the mostly closed-off, however, still only slightly free-spirited young woman usually seen to only be putting up with those who are fortunate enough to be considered her friends; often making her come across as sharp of tongue, and exceptionally quick-witted.

Filled with a light cynicism, and on the fleeting occasion, snarky attitude; Erin is oftentimes left to be the voice of reason among her more... impulsive of so-called friends, though to varying levels of success. Despite her seemingly anti-social, and rather icy disposition towards all of those around her; Erin does indeed have a softer, and more compassionate side to her that not many get the chance to experience- her fierce loyalty towards those she both calls and considers herself close to shining through; showing, most inconveniently, when those she cares about are in trouble... in immediate danger... are seriously injured... or are on their way to death. Nevertheless, most oftentimes choosing to keep this particular side of her well hidden behind the strong walls she had built up over the years, Erin instead follows the path of vengeance; holding grudges against those who are responsible for whatever it is that has caused her to feel that way, showing everyone around her that she is not one to forgive easily.

In spite of her rather straitlaced disposition, however, Erin has shown on more than one occasion that she is not above using coercion or threats in order to get just what it is that she wants- the young demigod learning quickly from her father that she needs to be unafraid to stand up to not only her enemies, but also those that she considers her friends; especially when she truly believes in her heart that it is in their best interests, or that they are in the wrong. Her actions towards others who get on her nerves proving that she can be extremely cruel, and harsh towards those who cross her, or those of whom she dislikes; Erin's strong focus, and silent determination shows that she can indeed become absolutely relentless... the young woman herself not above seeking out, and taking revenge on those who have wronged the people closest to her in her life; whether this be something as simple as kicking their ass on the training field or pulling them into the darkness, or something of a more... permanent nature, such as opening up a chasm to the Underworld, or even going so far as to condemn their souls to the very depths of Tartarus.

Despite her rather overly opinionated, and oftentimes infuriating nature, Erin, in her younger years, held fast to the status of being quite the sweet-hearted, rather shy, and even sensitive and caring young girl; however, now much older, and having experienced more of just what it is that life actually has to offer, Erin is shown to have a much better understanding of the dark and painful world around her. Nevertheless, her sometimes abrasive attitude, masked with her many deep insecurities, and particularly strong fear of failure cause her to, more times than not, feel as though she needs to prove herself, not only to the father she has barely known, but also to all those around her; however, it is clear to all those truly close to her that this partly due to the many people who look down upon her thanks to the reputation she had gained due to being the daughter of the King of the Underworld himself, Lord Hades.

Nevertheless, Erin tries her best, never truly letting anyone use her past life as a means to try and bully or belittle her in anyway; the young woman (since once more opening up after entering the camp) never having any issues when it comes to either ignoring, standing up to, or even engaging any morons who dare to, or are stupid enough to try and get on her nerves, or bad side. However, despite her strong confidence within both her skills and her abilities, Erin is rarely ever shown to be exceedingly arrogant, or conceited; and although she is not shown in public to be as short-tempered as some of her friends, she is quick to get annoyed, depressed, and has been known to be easily frustrated- the young woman never once backing down from an argument. With a strong attitude that could shake even the halls of Olympus, and an indestructible though if not slightly twisted passion for justice; Erin does all that she can to try her best at whatever she does, or puts her mind to... even if nothing ever truly works out for her in the end.

Quite the talented artist when it comes to both drawing and painting, nevertheless, Erin chooses to mainly keep this particular talent to herself.

โ‡‹ Loyal & Protective- Though well-known for being extremely guarded over herself, and for keeping herself at a distance from others around her; Erin is exceedingly loyal to those who are lucky enough to get close to her- the young woman tending to hold strong long-term grudges against those who do wrong by either her friends and family, and is willing to go as far as putting her own life on the line, in order to protect the ones she truly cares about.
โ‡Œ Especially Intelligent- While not particularly advertising it to the world; Erin holds a rather high-level IQ, accounting for her exceptionally high grades throughout her time in high school, and allowing her to oftentimes pick up on things that others might not have thought of, or thought to look into as they should.
โ‡‹ Bluntly Honest- Seemingly never afraid to speak what's going on in her mind; Erin is well-known throughout the Camp for being extremely blunt in her words- the young demigod, at most times, quick whenever it comes to calling others out on what they say, or their behavior; or even to call things or situation just as she sees them... a trait that most oftentimes gets her into trouble.
โ‡Œ Artistic- Exceptionally skilled in the creative arts; Erin holds a particularly strong and well developed talent over drawing, sketching, and pairing, however, while she mainly chooses to keep this extreme aptitude to herself, nevertheless she doesn't seem to go out of her way to hide her sketchbooks or artworks from her parents, siblings, and friends, or even those who believe themselves brave enough to visit with her in her cabin- the young demigod having no issue in answering questions should they be asked.

Weaknesses:
โ˜  Jackson Walker- An extremely guarded young woman, and refusing to show anyone around her, not even those she considers to be her friends, how she truly feels about what happened to her in the past before moving to Camp Half-Blood; Erin is exceedingly terrified of one thing more than any other in the world, that thing happening to be the very ex-boyfriend who abused her physically, and mentally for a great portion of her life.
โ˜  Astrapophobia- Though unknown to anyone but her mother, and the person closest to her, Theodore Bixler; Erin suffers from astrapophobia which gives her a strong phobia of storms, thunder and lightning, and is usually unable to be found whenever one is happening over the camp.
โ˜  Broken & Depressed- An unfortunate side effect of her many years of both physical and mental abuse; Erin oftentimes slips down into a depression, causing her to isolate herself even further from those who care about her, and to, on the rare occasion, think about ending it all in order to make the pain stop.
โ˜  Theodore Bixler- Isolating herself from those around her, and giving up any chance of a social life after her move to the safety of camp; Erin since has grown rather close, and trusting towards one singular person since the day she first arrived- the young demigod willing to open herself up, and to let him and only him into both her life, and into her past.

Biography:
After having given birth to the daughter of Hades; Erin's mother, Sophia Chase, worked hard and did all that she could to provide her daughter with everything that she herself never had as a child- oftentimes juggling several jobs at a time just in order to make ends meet. Growing up, and finding out at a young age that she never really fit in with others around her; Erin quickly became aware of her oddity, noticing that strange things always seemed to happen around her, causing for her classmates to more times than none, pick on and tease her. With some encouragement from her mother however, Erin continuously pushed herself forward, eventually managing to make a small group of friends who, despite what they had heard, welcomed her with open arms into their loving circle. Continuing to grow into a beautiful young lady, Erin found the strange and oftentimes anxious oddities and occurrences that had happened around her as a child, began to become more frequent- shadowy figures watching on from afar... strange and worrying behavior from other students at her school... her own nervousness and slight fear causing for her to turn her interests into more indoor, and isolated activities in life; helping to develop her love of both reading and drawing, and soon enough, both seemed to take over and consume her time almost completely, leaving the young woman absorbed in their worlds filled with both wonder and awe.

Wishing to pursue this path further on in her life, Erin began to keep sketch books; filling the pages within with varied style drawings... detailed sketches of the things that she had truly believed she had seen through the years passed, being sure to keep them to herself however, in the fear that somehow, she would once again get pushed aside, and rejected by those she had grown close to- her thirst for knowledge, and her strange sense of artwork sending those who had made her life hard to continue; the small jibes and taunts eventually growing, turning into nothing more than pure bullying and harassment as the years continued to fly by. Finally managing to hit high school; Erin found out rather quickly that it was a lot easier for her to get along better with the guys in her year level, rather than having to deal with the nasty bitching that came with the girls that filled the school- the new start giving her the hope that, for once, she might be able to have the fresh do-over that would allow her to not have to deal with the torment she had suffered in years passed.

Soon finding herself within a new (and her first) relationship with one of the guys she had grown close to, Erin quickly began to open up, her young love with Jackson allowing her to begin to feel things that she never realized herself capable of feeling; though his ever growing jealousy of her close bonds, and relationships with the others in her life slowly caused her to begin putting distance between herself and those who had always been there for her, and after many one sided conversations (his talking, and her listening), the two of them decided that it was high time that she took responsibility for her life. Taking everything Jackson had said to her rather hard, and not wishing to be a burden upon her mother any longer than she already had been; Erin sought out and took on a job, eventually moving out of home, and into her new life with her boyfriend- her strong determination something that she wasn't willing to allow to get broken.

Extremely reluctant to let her little girl go; Sophia (after much convincing on Erin's part) finally agreed to letting her move out, forcing Erin to make the promise that she would continue to put all her effort into her education, giving her a chance at having a good life in the future. Thriving on their encouragement, and more than happy to accept their help; Erin once more began to settle down, working to increase both her grades and her intelligence- feeling safe with how her life was going, and believing in her heart that her relationship with Jackson was now stronger than ever before.

Though while the first few months of her new life was nothing more than pure bliss; it was not to last.

Having gotten back into the swing of everyday life; Erin once more began to find Jackson's jealousy of the others bubbling... growing ever more extensive, and eventually, he began to take a more controlling role within her life, allowing for her to see less and less of those that she loved until eventually, it began to grow out of control. Finding herself being handled roughly by the guy that she loved, Erin's very integrity as a young woman was very quickly being torn down, bit by bit, and little by little with every single thing that she did wrong within his eyes. Seen now as nothing more than a possession to be used, and to be abused within his eyes; Erin soon found herself showing up to school with anything that would help, in any way, to hide the bruising that she had been served to her behind the closed doors of her new home.

Her situation at home causing her to pull further and further away from them; Erin's friends and family quickly became worried about her strange behavior, and sudden drastic change in personality- however, refusing to answer their constant (though ever caring) questions as to whether everything was alright, Erin continued to push them all away, terrified of what it was that might happen if they ever managed to find out what was truly going on in her (supposedly) loving home. Not willing to believe her denial that nothing was wrong, her friends began to push harder for the truth; and eventually, it came to light.

Completely furious about her little slip up, Jackson became relentless... worse than he had ever been before; and after "enforcing" his way of thinking on her, he eventually said enough was enough, forcing him to stay at home as the beatings and abuse became not only worse, but also more frequent- cuts both big and small, bruises of all shapes and sizes, and eventually, a broken bone or two joining that which was already covering her body... and after a particularly bad night that left her bloodied and broken; Erin ran for her life, slipping away and fleeing into the night as she did all that she could to to get away from the torment that was her life, her battered and weak body eventually unable to keep up with the stress that had befallen it, causing her to give up, collapsing in the street, unable to go on any further.

Growing extremely worried about not being able to get in contact with her, Erin's friends spread out, searching the streets of Los Angeles starting close to her home, eventually coming across her body laying broken within the middle of the street. Having decided long ago that enough was enough, Sophia sat them all down in her living room, and for the first time, revealed the truth about her daughter's parentage to her friends before begging for them to take her far away from where those who posed a threat could no longer touch her... a place where she would be kept safe from the dangers of the world around her- a place that would offer her a better chance for a better life. Reluctant at first to believe what it was they were being told, Erin's friends eventually agreed, helping to pack up her things before escorting her across the country to the place that they had been told about: Camp Half-Blood. Now living full time within the camp; Erin sunk deeper into both her isolation and her depression; throwing up her walls, and forcing a change in both her personality and attitude in order to help her keep people at a distance... doing everything she could to hide her strong fear of being hurt again deep within her ever cold heart; however, her short fuse, and rather twisted sense of justice tend to get her more attention than she truly likes.

Demigod Abilities:
Born as a daughter of the Underworld; Erin has been (unlucky enough) to inherit four of her father's more note worthy of traits and abilities; the demigod herself holding an extremely strong and rather controlled power over not only the ability of Geokinesis, Necromancy, and Umbrakinesis, but also the slightly rarer of her father's inherited abilities, Infernal Monster Lordship- the young demigod herself, still working on doing what she can to gain complete control of her powers which tend to show whenever she becomes emotional.

โ˜  Geokinesis: Inheriting her father's ability of Geokinesis; Erin is able to control the Earth that surrounds her, whether this be levitating rocks and turning them into a rater deadly projectile, opening large fissures and cracks (both big and small) that can swallow up creatures and others trapping them within the Underworld, or even something of more consequence such as causing earthquakes and tremors with such power (and oftentimes anger) that they are able to cause great damage to both the immediate and surrounding areas, leaving destruction in her wake- her abilities honed enough that she is able to control the black walls of, and create passages within and to the Underworld.

โ˜  Necromancy: Taking after her older half-brother, and her father before her; Erin holds a rather strong divine authority, as well as a secure and powerful control over the dead that roam throughout her fatherโ€™s domain- the young woman never having an issue when it comes to displaying this well-honed and strongly controlled power to the rest of the camp during her birthday, also known as Halloween. Some of her notable abilities being:

  • Power Over The Undead โ€” Able to not only reanimate skeletons, but also to summon skeletal and spiritual warriors; Erin is shown to hold a vast amount of power and control over her abilities of Necromancy, her inherited skills allowing her to not just put her skeletal and spiritual army to sleep, and also to destroy them at a momentโ€™s notice should she no longer have need of them- however, like her older brother Nico, summoning too many undead at once does indeed drain her of energy, causing fatigue to set in and more times than none, for the Apollo children to get on her case about quitting it with the โ€œUnderworld-y stuffโ€ long enough for her to recover.
  • Summoning Deceased Souls โ€” A skill taught to her by her older half-brother, Nico Di Angelo during a summer spent in the Underworld with their father and step-mother; Erin has become quite proficient at summoning the souls of those who have already passed on from the world- the young demigod (when in a good enough mood while asked) more than happy to help those in the camp contact their loved ones who have moved from life into the Underworld by placing forth an offering (usually happy meals from McDonalds), and calling out to them in Ancient Greek.
  • Releasing Souls โ€” Though not as skilled in this ability as she is in her other Necromonic powers; Erin is able to release the souls of those who should have long ago died, but who have somehow managed to cheat death in some way, shape or form- the young woman knowing in theory what it is she needs to do, however never actually having needed to, nor had the chance to put it into practice.
  • Telepathy With The Dead โ€” An ability which is mostly controlled by her emotions; Erin has the power to telepathically communicate with the dead that show themselves to her, and when angry enough or pushed too far, she also has the ability to ward them away from her and others around her by giving off a warning vibe.

โ˜  Umbrakinesis/ Shadow Travel: Though having inherited only one of her fatherโ€™s abilities under the heading of Umbrakinesis; Erin has over her time in the camp become quite skilled in the art of shadow travel, able to use them to transport not only herself, but also others over great distances, however it has been shown that the longer the distance, the stronger the wear and fatigue that befalls her after the journey- however, like with all children of Hades, overexertion of shadow travel can cause her molecular structure to begin to fall apart, gradually turning her into the very shadows themselves, causing her to lose herself, or even on the rare occasion, to enter what is known as a shadow coma.

โ˜  Infernal Monster Lordship: The only child of Hades in this generation to inherit this ability; Erin has almost complete control over of the countless ferocious monsters that roam throughout her fatherโ€™s domain: Cerberus, the Hellhounds, the Furies, the Keres, the Oneiroi, and various Daimons, along with many others who call the Underworld their home- though while not as powerful as her father, Erin still has enough power and skill over this ability that when concentrating hard enough, she is able to summon a small army to her side.

Gifted to her by her father, the Lord Hades himself; Erin had no other choice when it came to learning how to not only wield weapons, but also learning how to fight against any threat which comes her way- the demigod herself preferring to train on her own and out in the forest, rather than within a pairing or group.

Seemingly enjoying to just sit back, and relax without letting on that anything is bothering her in any way; when not hanging out with her friends somewhere within the camp, Erin is often found sitting alone within her cabin either reading, sketching or listening to music- the only thing that truly gets her to show any sort of love and excitement being the one holiday of the year that she truly enjoys; Halloween.

Absolutely hating to be used or caught up within large crowds of people when it can be avoided; Erin has quite a large disdain for those who tend to gain unfairly against others, and has no qualms with both interfering in, and putting a complete stop to such situations- the young demigod often choosing to hide away alone within the isolation of her cabin with a brooding mood whenever the Christmas holiday comes around.

Personality:
Alan has a very positive outlook on life and is generally a very easy-going kind of guy. Having been subjected to a rather poor lifestyle, constantly surrounded by the smell of shit and sweaty bodies, Alan has always taken the little things in life for full value. The smell of a flower, the feeling of a gentle breeze rolling over his skin, the soft touch of a woman...

He is most often times a quiet sort of guy when it comes to day to day activities, however when he uses his shoes to fly, his whoops and hollers of excitement can be heard all throughout the camp.

Most of his (male) companions in both the circus and camp poke a bit of fun at him for being overly sensitive, but Alan's thick skin and playful personality doesn't take their teasing negatively, though in the more quiet times in his life, he does wonder if perhaps they might be right.

He's got a very adventurous spirit about him, always wanting to make each show or quest he does different and more exciting and while it can be dangerous, Alan finds that he practically craves the adrenaline rush he gets at the very idea that injury could very much be a thing. This makes him a bit reckless at times though at face-value, Alan tends to be more calm and calculated on the outside.

Strengths:
His acrobatic skills he learned in the circus gave Alan the art of timing, able to calculate jumps and honed his reflexes into something superior to avoid injury. Tightrope walking and the trapeze being his two main events, he learned these very quickly and has only gotten better and more fluid in his movements as a performer.

Biography:
Alan was born and raised into a family deep into the traveling circus business, and was raised in the carny lifestyle. As a kid, Alan was tasked with caring and cleaning up after the animals though eventually worked his way up to aerial acrobatics. His parents were amazed at just how natural Alan acted when it came to heights. Even when the trapeze artists tried to discourage the young boy from the dangerous act by having him join them in practice, including jumps (with a safety net), twists, grabs and so on, Alan only grew to love the sport even more. So in the air he stayed and as he grew older, became one of the most famous aerial acrobats.

The nickname "Horus" was given to him by his fellow trapeze group, joking about how he was a "God" of aerial acrobatics. Alan went with the jest, finding the humor in it himself and found himself rather liking the nickname, though there was something just not quite right about it.

As he grew from a youth into a man, strange things began to happen. So strange, in fact, that during the middle of a show, Alan's vision blurred for a few moments before he was suddenly able to see things with the utmost precision and clarity, over twice as well as he had been able to before. He could hear heartbeats - hundreds at a time. He could even see in fine detail the dirt under his partner's fingernails as his calloused hands reached out to grab him. It all happened in a split second, but it was enough to throw him off balance in his jump and ended up missing his partners hands, falling into the safety net below. That in itself had been humiliating, and after trying to explain what had happened to his friends and parents, they shrugged it off as some sort of "you need more sleep" explanation.

But the weird only kept coming. He would be backstage, helping to clean up the previous shows act when he saw the Strong-Man speaking with one of the jugglers. Normally, this would be an every day occurrence and for a year or so, people within the circus began pestering the Strong-Man about asking her out already. But as Alan paused to witness their conversation, something just wasn't feeling right to him. Instead, he began to imagine the Strong-Man with someone of a much more delicate nature, someone that hadn't yet been brought into the carny lifestyle. The thought was so intense, so realistic, that Alan was forced to shut his mind off before he began to grow sick. He ran from the scene, and made it back into his trailer in record time. Just a few seconds, in fact, when he knew prior that normally it would have taken him a couple of minutes. Pushing aside the whole instance as a fever, Alan put himself to bed early, and waited for the new morning. Fate had something else in store for him.

A cyclops attacked their camp just a few moments before dawn. After realizing that this wasn't just some carny joke, Alan sprung to action, at first running from the beast as he wasn't sure what to do. The Cyclops, for some reason, seemed trained on him, but after making sure his mother and step-father were safe (his running faster than normal coming into play), Alan made a decision that if it was he that the monster was after, then he needed to protect his large, carny family. Before taking off, however, Alan's mother stopped him, and pleaded that he follow her quickly as there was something she wanted to show him. Reluctant at first, Alan obliged and followed his mother to her trailer where she handed him a small, pocket-sized multi tool that would usually belong on a key chain. Skeptical, Alan took it, and with a little instruction from his mother, the multi-tool transformed into a bow in the likes and craftsmanship he had never before seen. Alan's mother went on to tell him that it was a gift that was left behind for him some years ago, and that it would come into play when he needed it most. Not having much else to go on, Alan accepted the bow, and went to confront the monster. A quiver with three arrows appeared on his back, but not having much time to be able to question anything anymore, Alan took to the circus and on his third attempt, managed to stick the cyclops in the eye with one of the fast-moving arrows. The carnies were safe, but Alan had questions.

Together, Alan's mother and step-father sat him down and began to explain the years-long legacy that had been created from the time he was conceived. He learned that his father was Hermes, the messenger god, and that Eros, god of love, had taken quite a shine to him over the years and not only blessed him as an infant, but left gifts for him over the years to his mother - most recently being the bow he had used to slay the cyclops. It was a bit of an emotional conversation between Alan and his parents, as he had never even heard whispers of his true father before until then. And then, learning that he was a god, and that his powers were starting to manifest and attract monsters... it was almost too much. Alan's mother then handed him over a pamphlet with tears staining her cheeks. Another "gift" from Eros (Alan was starting to consider the god of love more of a father figure than his true father. At least Eros showed an inkling of interest in him, even from afar), Alan read the pamphlet over carefully and within the hour, decided on what he needed to do.

Camp Half-Blood was his next stop, wanting more answers that his parents could not provide him with. He was claimed shortly after by Hermes with a box of flying shoes left on his bed he had been staying in (ironically enough, in the Hermes house) and has been residing there ever since. However, unlike most of the other campers, Alan is only there for a few months during the year, as he has not been able to pull himself away from the carny lifestyle completely as of yet.

Demigod Abilities:

Love Sense: One of two abilities given to him by the God, Eros, Alan is able to look at a person and get a vague depiction of the kind of person they are meant to be with. If such a person is around, he is able to sway emotions just slightly in their favor as a sort of push to help them fall in love. Unfortunately, he is unable to use this ability on himself. If he happened to be someone's type, even if sitting right next to them, he would never know.

Archery: The second, more prominent ability that Alan was given by Eros is near perfect archery skills. He also excels in other target-precise/shooting-based activities such as basketball or football, and aerial acrobatics. He has been known to be able to split his own arrows in half on a target, and be able to shoot an apple off of someone's head while blindfolded. Because of his natural demigod abilities of heightened senses like sight, his range has been measured to around 500 meters before his accuracy starts to wane.

Athletics: As the son of the god of Athletics, Alan has a naturally enhanced athletic ability.

Enhanced Speed: Like his father, Alan has an incredible amount of speed and when wearing his father's shoes, can even reach supersonic speeds. He can use this ability even to run on walls and ceilings.

Flight: Thanks to his father's shoes that were gifted to him in his first days at Camp Half-Blood, Alan is able to take to the skies and fly for long periods of time. The altitude changes do not affect him as it would others, and is able to reach limits up and into the clouds before the temperature drop and lack of oxygen slowly start to effect him.

Prophecy: Inspired by his own fathers ability of being able to roll dice to predict the future, Alan has been working hard on this birth-given ability to refine it into something more. But just like his love sense ability, he is unable to use this on himself, nor can he predict himself in other peoples futures.


~Weaponry Information~


Weapon/s: Alan is quick, so if his enemy can not see him, he can not be hurt. Alan uses his speed and quick reflexes to gain the advantage on an opponent, and with his near-perfect archery skills can be quite a force to be reckoned with on the battle field, however Alan has never shot to kill or severely injure. His style is much more catching the baggy part of their clothing and pinning them to a wall.

Biography:
Born nine months after her father left her mother, Kalinda grew up thinking her her father was merely a doctor who left for a new job. Her mother kept this as the story she told her, never revealing the truth to Kalinda, merely hoping it was a crazy story she would never have to tell her daughter. Her mother worked in a medical clinic as a receptionist, and it was there she told Kalinda she met her father. She gave Kalinda everything she could, trying desperately to be both parents to Kalinda and she did well. Every year for her birthday and Christmas, Kalinda was sent a present from her father, things a child would like. A stuffed bear, a trinket bracelet, marbles, things like that. She treasured them, but by far her favorite was the Ferret, Chaos, given to her on her 16th birthday.

Her mother worked hard to make sure Kalinda went to good schools. Kalinda was a friendly person, and she made friends easily. She joined many after school activities and sports, and was generally well liked. When she was 13 her mother told her about the camp, and during the summer holidays, Kalinda became a part time camper, learning about what she could do, and who she was.

However when Kalinda was 18 when her mother died in a car accident. From there she fell into a cycle of depression. Her friends tried to help, but it didnโ€™t seem to help. She became reckless, and did whatever came to mind for her. She fell in with a bad crowd, began to take drugs, and began to drink, using a fake ID to get whatever she wanted, and seemed to leave the camp for good.

Finally though her friends tracked her down, worried about they essentially shoved her into rehab, and one of them was always with her, and so she never had a choice but to clean up her act. Finally she returned to her home, and began to clean out her mother's stuff, in it she found a letter addressed to my darling daughter in her mothers hand writing.

She has never revealed what was in that letter, but Kalinda returned to camp, and became a full time camper.

Personality:
Firstly, Deon is incredibly conceited and self-centered. His only priority is himself which he often-times refers to as "number one." He is incredibly boastful and cocky and appears to believe himself invincible, given his parentage of a god. He will stop at nothing to prove himself better than the rest in whatever he can, and when losing, he somehow twists his words to make himself the Victor in one way or another. He doesn't know how to lose.

In battle, whether it be verbal or physical, he is extremely cut-throat and merciless. Though he has never taken a life, his reputation of landing many people in the infirmary for months at a time has instilled fear in others for facing the proverbial beast. It has been noted by many that a literal fire takes place in his eyes when he has had a victory and in holding his weapon to their body where he very well could kill a person. This fire, coupled with a twisted, smug smile on his face is a thirst for warfare that he simply gets drunk off of, and had become addicted to. In many people's opinions, it is only a matter of time before he does kill, and steer clear of him in battle to keep from being his first.

He holds no remorse for those he injures while fighting in camp and on more than one occasion has attacked with a more powerful purpose than to simply injure or knock unconscious. It is said that Deon holds a certain, animalistic rage when he fights which has kept him champion in most games even when he was outmatched. He laughs at his pain, showing no weakness and many times others have often wondered if he is even human. Well... they were half-right.

His hardened exterior can be chipped away, though, when a woman or two come into play, as he is a bit of a womanizer and has a pretty high sexual drive. He will, however, never put a woman on too high of a priority level, especially when his reputation is on the line of being a "bad boy."

When enticed, he can be quite charming and ever the smooth-talker. This, along with his bad boy nature, for some reason, always manages to have a handful of girls out for his attention and hanging off his arm.

Strengths:
Deon's strengths boil down to his physical body and prowess in battle. He has a higher amount of stamina and dexterity than most demigods, and can fight for hours at a time before he starts feeling drained. He has a small amount of control of when his second wind comes into play and even has third and (very rarely) fourth winds to keep him going.

Biography:
Deon grew up knowing that he was capable of great things. It seemed that right out of the womb, Deon's abilities began to showcase themselves, leaving his mother no other choice than to tell Deon at a very early age about his father. Deon took the information in stride, always running around the house chasing their cat at the time with a foam sword, screaming "I am the God of war!" He pretended to be Ares quite regularly, and though he had never met him, constantly asked his mother when he would be coming home.

Because of her son's special background, Maya remained single despite being still quite young and very attractive. She knew Deon was a handful and didn't want to bring anyone else down with her baggage, so Deon became her one and only.

Deon was only eight when the first monsters began to show. Amphisbaenas, empousas, and then finally harpies. The older he got, the more powerful the monsters that began to try and attack him became. For a while, Maya was able to defend her son against these monsters, but in an accident by a harpy who's claws nearly ripped his head from his young body, leaving the child with a mutilating scar from his brow to the top of his head, she decided to she could no longer protect him, and took him to Camp Half-Blood.

He was twelve when Deon first arrived, though for the first few years it was for the summer only - enough for the camp to teach him how to fight and defend himself for when he would return for the school year. It wasn't until he was fifteen did Deon even realize that it was because of the goddess Tyche that he was even still alive. Ares had known for quite some time that Deon was attracting monsters at a young age. Not wanting to get involved first hand, he instead sent the goddess to bless his son with her ability of luck, thus sparing his life from the harpy attack. Though he still has the scar, raw and mutilated as the day he got it, without Tyche he would certainly have died.

At fifteen, the camp strongly recommended that Deon start staying with them year-round, as the world outside only continued to become more and more dangerous for him. It took much more convincing on his mother's part than Deon's, as he was all she had, but she eventually agreed that it was for the best.

There have been a few times Deon has been allowed to return home to see his mother. It was during one of these visits he grew bored and went out to meet some girls. A few months later, Deon recieved a text from a girl he had hooked up with that she was pregnant. Deon became a father at the age of eighteen.

He doesn't see his kid very often, and isn't exactly interested in seeing him either. Like his father before him, he is distant by choice and blames it on the fact that he doesn't live in the same city as them, so it makes visits difficult. Most of the time, he even forgets he has a kid, but there are times when he remembers, he can't help but to wonder if his kid has inherited any of his abilities.

~Demigod Information~


Demigod Abilities:

Telumkinesis: As a son of the God of War, Deon has the potential to have a great amount of control over weapons, just like his father.

- Weapon Conjuration: Perhaps his most honed skill, Deon can transform a weapon into seemingly any handheld weapon conceivable, including a "huge" hunting knife, an aluminum baseball bat, a Late Medieval two-handed greatsword, and a shotgun.

- Weapon Transformation: Though much more difficult, Deon can also transform weapons into something far less threatening, like turning a gun into a plastic toy that shoots corks.

- Weapon Curses: Deon has very little experience in this field, but is hungry to learn anything and everything he can about it. He has only ever successfully cursed a weapon once - a pair of tweezers that whoever used it, ended up with twice as many hairs that had been plucked. He still hasn't figured out how to take the curse off.

- Disarmament: Deon has the ability to disarm an opponent of their weapon with a simple gesture, however it has only ever worked for him when his adrenaline has spiked to extreme levels that are rooted from fear.

- Weapon Omniscience: It was this ability that led Deon to believe that he wasn't normal. Upon touching a weapon, he learns of not only it's history, but somehow automatically learns how to use it.

Odikinesis: Still not able to control it as it only seems to happen when he is angry, Deon does possess the ability to control feelings and emotions of war (such as hate and rage), and can induce them in order to start fights.

- Battle Jitters: If he concentrates hard enough, Deon can cure someone of their "battle jitters" by simply making eye contact. However this ability is better and easier used by speaking to them.

Biography:
Growing up under the loving care of her mothers parents, Ky was always a sweet and kind young girl. Forming a stronger relationship with the guys of the group rather than the girls, the young Australian learning from a young age how to look after and defend herself. Hanging out with the guys helped her to grow into a beautiful, confident young lady. Wanting to do her best and help her family in anyway she could, she threw herself into her studies, raising her grades so that she could make her grandparents proud of who she was becoming. Deciding that it was time for their granddaughter to become a woman of her own, her grandparents sat her down telling her the truth about her past their wishes for her to seek out and live within the camp that her father had spoken to them about many times. Reluctantly she packed her bags saying goodbye to her family before heading off for a new life within Camp Half-blood where she met her several people who welcomed and accepted her for who she was. After a year of arriving in the camp the close knit group of friends decided it was time to travel packing their things into the back of her newly build car before they set out to travel around unknowingly putting a target on their backs and causing them to land in a hell they never believed they would get out of; the Goddess Ate unintentionally teaching them that they needed to be more careful about what they do.

After what seemed like days of torture, Ky woke up finding herself in the infirmary surrounded by the Apollo children who worked tirelessly to keep the pain of her injuries at a bare minimum; just another reminder of what their lives would have in store for them all. Soon after getting back to a normal daily routine Ky pushed herself into her work growing closer and closer to one of her friends who had been by her side since day one in the camp, the two of them eventually giving into their feelings for each other and beginning a relationship. After a year, one trip back to her hometown and the loss of grandfather caused a strain on their relationship and in turn caused the love of her life to walk out and leave the camp to be with his family, leaving her on her own once more with those she thought were friends moving on with their lives one by one. At the loss of her last known family, her grandmother, she flew back home for the last time knowing that once she had set all affairs in order she would no longer be able to return to the place she grew up into the loving arms of people she once knew. Now a mature polite young teenager, Ky stepped out of the safety walls of the place she had called home and back into the world nervous to rejoin camp and mess things up for her family who are watching over her. Slipping back into a semi-normal daily routine she tries her best to keep out of trouble and reform the bonds she once had while forgetting the love she once shared, knowing that it wasn't meant to be.

Born as a child of the forge; Ky' vie was lucky enough to inherit two of her father's more notable of traits and abilities; the demigod herself holding a strong and rather controlled power over not only the more common ability of Technokinesis, but also the more rarer of her father's abilities, Pyrokinesis- the young woman herself, the first after her older half-brother Leo Valdez to master this particular and rather fiery ability.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Technokinesis: Taking after her older half-brother, Leo Valdez, when it comes to her both strong and rather impressive mechanical abilities; Ky' vie is able to skillfully manipulate both machines and technology by not only physically animating them, but also by controlling and communicating with them- this part of her abilities allowing her to manipulate a rather extensive amount of machines and technology including things such as lamps, vacuums, computers, ect. Seen to be the most experienced and skilled within the Hephaestus cabin; Ky is able to understand and sense machinery, and has the rare talent of being able to expertly operate machines in which she had no prior knowledge or experience with- the young woman able to instinctively fly and or drive any mechanical vehicle proficiently; including vehicles such as cars, trains, and helicopters.

Also able to sense faults in metal ore, and able to identify different types of machinery and it's use with a simple touch; Ky is also able to (in particular types of mechanical traps) sense traps, the demigod capable of disabling such complex traps of her father's design when others might find it impossible- while showing that she is more than capable within her abilities, there are certain types of her Technokinesis are also dependent on Electrokinesis as most of the machines used are run by electricity.


๐Ÿ”ฅ Pyrokinesis: The very first demigod after her older half-brother, Leo Valdez, to master the more dangerous and at times extremely unpredictable ability of Pyrokinesis; Ky' vie is able to proficiently generate as well as both manipulate and control the flames of a fire- allowing her the ability to manipulate something as small as lighting and or playing with the flame of a candle, or something much grander as being able to shoot or cover her entire body with white-hot flames; the temperature of such flames able to reach such heights that, despite her well-known and extremely strong resistance to fire and heat, are able to both char and damage her body to the point that she will need to spend time with the Apollo children within the infirmary.

Though showing mass amounts of control over the rare ability of a child of Hephaestus, Ky' vie does however have sometimes have trouble whenever she gets overly excited, scared or even flustered; her emotions causing varying effects such as causing her to heat up and smoke, or even have her hair flair up or burst into flames- however on any normal circumstances, Ky is able to both create and throw such things as fireballs, fire bolts, fire blasts, and when concentrating hard enough on the task at hand, can create impressively large and intense columns of fire; her ability showing that she could potentially be held in comparison to the children of the big three, though her passive nature and non-violent persona help to keep her grounded and down to earth.

Personality: Upon first impressions, many people dislike Griffin for his sardonic nature, snarky attitude, and apathetic, brutally honest demeanor. Often unwilling to take a position of responsibility and begrudgingly following orders, Griffin can be aptly described as a "free spirit," uncaring of what he does so long as he chooses to do it.

Griffin does not suffer fools gladly, and completely disregards anyone he perceives to be arrogant, rude, cruel, or stupid, treating them with open disdain and sarcasm. He shows no hesitation hurling insults or barbs at his own friends or companions, the severity of which can range from playful jabs to cruel mockeries, depending on the individual in question.

Infamously mischievous, Griffin is well-known for his frequent jokes and quips thrown about in everyday conversation, and is quite the practical joker, causing chaos and disorder within the camp a few times a semester, often caught red-handed with a few of his half-siblings as lackeys.

Griffin's mocking, playful nature masks a more insightful side that he only displays to those he is closest to. Surprisingly intelligent and quick-witted, Griffin's span of knowledge is only bested by his thirst for it. Problem-solving by nature, he shows an avid fondness for puzzles, riddles, and unsolved mysteries of all kind; often locking himself away in his room to ponder over some new brain-teaser. This thirst for knowledge stems from a naturally passionate personality. Griffin will pursue anything that interests him to the ends of the earth, seeking to learn all he can about said topic.   • Cunning- Though considered a strength, Griffin's willingness to lie and cheat even to his friends makes him difficult to trust or be held accountable, alienating himself from many of the peers outside his cabin. Griffin has few true friends, and he knows this, masking any negative emotions behind his veneer of humor or sarcasm.
  • Physical Strength- While a gifted, innately coordinated athlete, Griffin nevertheless lacks the brute strength and might of the children of Ares or Athena, relying solely on his speed and wits when in a battle.
  • Laziness- Simply put, Griffin doesn't want to do anything. Chafing under authority and resisting all attempts at responsibility, Griffin is the exact opposite of the archetypal hero, preferring to stay out of the spotlight and mind his own business. Most infamously, Griffin will outright refuse quests when offered to him unless absolutely necessary.


Biography: Griffin's backstory is a somewhat complicated and bittersweet one. His mother, at the time, was a high school senior with aspirations of being an engineer. Hermes unintentionally soon found himself involved with the young girl, first as a friend, then as something more...

Nine months later, Baby Griffin was born. Young, scared, and with no idea how to raise a child, Griffin's mother, Matilda felt that her child's best option would be with someone who could care and provide for him. That answer came in Matilda's maternal uncle, Declan. Officially putting Declan down as the baby's godfather, Griffin spent his earliest years in the capital city of Belfast in Northern Ireland under the caring, watchful eye of his great-uncle.

Highly curious and mischievous in youth, Griffin, given the first name Hawley, was an explorer, frequently running off on his own to appease his inquisitive nature. Though Declan tried his best to steer the young Griffin towards a more quiet, conservative nature, Hawley nonetheless continued his haphazard 'adventures'.

Unbeknownst to Griffin at the time, his guardian was no mere mortal - but a demigod, son of Athena. Knowing full well the dangers that came with raising a demigod, Declan did all in his power to keep the boy safe from harm, monitoring him closely for any sign of his special powers. Such a sign would come when Hawley was merely 6 years old. An old rusted shed he was trying to break into in his backyard was sealed shut by multiple padlocks. In a fit of irritation, Hawley tugged at the chains securing the doors, only for the locks to shatter into pieces, falling onto the ground.

Now with Hawley's growing powers revealed, Declan took the boy and fled to America to escape any potential monster threat, settling in the bustling state of New York in hopes that the extensive mortal presence would hide the young Griffin's blood.

As Griffin grew older, he began experiencing the various troubles that came with demigod children: crippling ADHD, dyslexia, and a feeling of disconnect with the other children. As such, when he turned 13 years old, Declan decided to reveal Hawley's heritage to him.

Learning that he was the son of Hermes, messenger of the gods, Griffin did not react with vehement disbelief like many other demigods had, but merely took the fact as an interesting note of his heritage.

Shortly after, he was sent to Camp Half-Blood, where he would be kept safe from harm, taught to hone on his abilities.

Demigod Abilities:
A child of the god of messengers, Griffin's powers, while not as flashy or extraordinary as the children of other Olympians, are nevertheless powerful in their own right. Due to his father being the god of many diverse things, Griffin can be summed up as a "Jack-of-all-trades", adept at many things, master of few. That being said, Griffin focuses on the craftier elements of his father's abilities, stylizing himself as a modern-day rogue.

Lock Manipulation:
Griffin can magically sense the internal structures and mechanisms of any lock he touches, and can make it unlock with minimal effort. With enough concentration, Griffin can telekinetically force locks to unlock, the use of this ability being the first manifestation of his demigod abilities. Similarly, Griffin can identify traps and/or curses placed on locks, which he can deactivate with enough focus. Griffin's natural skill as a picklock is only rivaled by his half-siblings and surpassed by his father.

Enhanced Thievery:
As his father is also the god of thieves, Griffin is a master pickpocket, capable of stealing just about anything from one's pockets without them noticing. It's even theorized that his ability with thievery can work on the Olympians.

Money Skills:
Due to another of his father's roles being the god of merchants, Griffin is quite skilled when it comes to dealing with finances. He has a keen mind for mathematics, and is remarkably adept at poker, with a notorious winning streak rivaling the children of Nike.

Enhanced Stamina:
Aside from his great physical ability, Griffin possesses remarkable, almost inhuman levels of endurance and stamina, no doubt due to his heritage; capable of running great lengths, swimming vast distances, or engaging in combat for an extended period of time without appearing to tire.

Attributes: The blade is said to be remarkably light, yet weighed almost inhumanly perfect for one's grip. Shearwind is nigh-indestructible and dangerously sharp, capable of slicing through stone with relative ease. Perhaps most remarkably, the sword is capable of teleporting individuals when swung through the air. Similar to the infamous Shadow Travel used by children of the Underworld, the blade's reach is capable of sending one nearly anywhere they desire, though it causes Griffin great fatigue which only increases with the gain of distance, thus he limits himself as much as he can. Likewise the blade needs time to recharge between instances, as overuse will cause it to shatter.

Considered by all who know her to be rather reliable, slow and steady in her ways; Syleste has always shown herself to be a hard worker, though never wishing to be a burden upon those she cares about, she nevertheless holds an exceedingly strong desire towards having a secure and stable atmosphere surrounding her.

Though seeming to have had a tough time accepting the news of her heritage when she was first told, Syleste has since accepted her fate as a demigod, showing immense pride in not just the friends she has made, but also in the life she now leads, and in the Camp that she now calls her home. Holding a fast solidarity to her friends and home; Syleste is neither boastful, nor is she competitive- the young woman holding tight to the ideal that if everyone is having a good time, and if no one is getting hurt, then thatโ€™s all that matters.

Not particularly fond of change, Syleste is very easily flustered, and is extremely lacking in self-confidence, sometimes leading her to the rare breakdown, and claims that she is both useless and stupid- the young woman, when under pressure, often becoming prone of making mistakes with even the simplest of tasks.

Never found talking back to a staff member, or the Gods and Goddesses; Syleste is seen to understand completely the need for authority, and (for all intents and purposes) is fine with other people having it- someone else being in power means that she wonโ€™t have to make any difficult decisionsโ€ฆ and in turn, it also means that no one will get angry at her for making an unpopular, or the wrong choice.

Though seeming to savor both stability and security above all, despite her inner dreams and desires about one day experiencing the world around her; Syleste is far from being a simple pushover, the young demigod showing her bravery when it comes to her willingness to defend her family, family and Camp to no end when push comes to shove- however, that is not to say that anyone should expect her to adapt quickly to changeโ€ฆ if things are going fine as they are, is there truly a need to mix it up..?

While not considered to be boring by any means; it is clear that Syleste seems to enjoy things just the way that they are, which in part helps to make her as loyal to those she cares about as she is.

โ‡‹ Being Blind- Thanks in large to her disability, Syleste's others senses (hearing, smell, taste, and touch) have become much more enhanced than that of a normal human, or demigod; allowing her to earn both a different perspective, and understanding of the world around her that not many people understand.
โ‡Œ Especially Intelligent- Particularly intelligent for her age, and having grown up slightly different to those around her thanks to her disability; Syleste is able to read anything that is given to her in braille, including (though not limited to) books, musical scores, plans, clues, etc.
โ‡‹ Virtuoso- Quite talented in both singing and playing the piano, Syleste has found that she is more confident with her skills when she is on her own or with someone she is extremely close to, the young girl too shy and embarrassed to show her musical talents to others.

โ˜  Being Blind- While being the very thing that sets her apart from all the others calling the Camp their home; Syleste's disability oftentimes causes people around her to treat her differently from others- usually more delicately and careful... as though she is made of glass that might shatter if you treat it too roughly.
โ˜  Thalassophobia- Though seeming confident and semi-competent when it comes to things she sets her mind to; Syleste suffers from thalassophobia which gives her a strong phobia of deep water, including the ocean and large bodies of water, and is usually found sitting in the sand, or on the bank by herself while her friends go swimming.

Born as a child of both dreams and sleep; Syleste has been able to inherit two of her father's more note worthy of traits and abilities; the demigod herself holding an extremely strong and rather controlled power over not only the ability of sleep manipulation, but also the more rarer of her father's inherited abilities, dream walking and manipulation- the young demigod herself, the first after her own father to master moving about the dream realm with the same ease as her dad.

โธŽ Sleep Manipulation: Like most children of the God of dreams; Syleste has a strong hold over the ability to manipulate sleep within both herself and others around her, allowing her to not only induce and extract sleep from a person but to also manipulate and enhance all aspects of sleep itself- the young demigod, though innocent in looks and sweet in nature, is able to manipulate the sleep patterns of a person, as well as be able to choose how long they are able to sleep for and how deep a sleep the person is having. Strong enough to induce not only a deep, but also instantaneous sleep on those around her, even to the extent that she could potentially be able to induce perpetual insomnia or push a demigod into a comatose state; Syleste is also able to both reduce and or remove a person's need for sleep all together, causing them to become dreadfully tired and drowsy at all times- the young child of Morpheus also helpful in the sense that she is able to also awaken a person from any type of sleeping state, regardless of the circumstances.

โธŽ Dream Walking/ Manipulation: Both inheriting and mastering one of her father's more... rare talents; Syleste has the unique ability to enter a world she knows as "The Dream World", allowing her to slip in and out of the dreams of others, as well as allowing her to summon others into her own dreams. Along with this form of power, Syleste has also been able to master the ability to manipulate the dreams she see's around her, allowing her to bring both the sweetest of dreams to a person, as well as the most terrible of nightmares. Although with her gift also comes a terrible danger. While moving about the Dream World should a person, including herself get hurt, their injuries would transfer through the dreams before transferring to that persons physical body making this a dangerous form of magic that she very rarely chooses to use.

Personality:
Theo, despite everything he has gone through, has a big heart. One that doesn't like seeing people alone or isolated and will oftentimes just go over to someone looking like they are having a rough time and give them a warm, comforting smile. If someone younger than him is having an equally rough time, he has been known to put an arm around them, give them a hug, and take on a temporary "big brother" role to help them through whatever it is that they are going through. He's not afraid to talk about his past, and hopes that in sharing a particularly hard time for him with others, they can see and relate to him and know that things do in fact get better.

Within camp, he is known as the voice of reason. With so many rivalries between cabins (not even necessarily during exercises or events where it is necessary to a point), Theo has been the one that helps to diffuse situations that would otherwise end up ugly. He hasn't yet learned to stand up against his own bullies, such as Deon and the other Ares boys in camp, but he has learned to be a voice for others who fall into the same situations he has.

He's the kind of guy that would forgo sleep if it meant staying up all night and just listening to someone talk when they need it. He's also the kind of guy that would give someone the shirt off of his back if it meant keeping them warmer or covered up decently to avoid any further humiliation. His athleticism frankly sucks, but he's learned to be okay with that, because his heart is true and he knows it's where he belongs.

Theo's more recreational hobbies include watching shows like Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Cat Dog, Spongebob and other popular 90's kids shows. He also has a deep fascination with Marvel and DC comics and can spend hours upon hours explaining one singular character to someone, not even realizing that he's rambling. His room is covered in "nerdy" trinkets, ranging from a batman lamp that puts the symbol on his ceiling to Mario figurines, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle masks, Legos, a Hellboy piggy bank and so much more, making his room every child's dream. Not to mention the stacks upon stacks of comics he has filling up entire book shelves that outline his walls. He also has an array of musical instruments, blank sheet music, regular sheet music, and a custom-built desktop with dual screens that not only come in handy for his gaming, but also helps him to compose his own music he enjoys creating.

Strengths:
Theo tends to be the "I've been there" guy - one that can relate to almost anyone who has ever been humiliated or poked fun at. Because of this, his social game at camp has increased significantly as others are always going to him for advice or just to seek comfort. He's also not above being "that guy" that people just come over to his cabin to play video games with either - though he will completely wreck you at Mario Kart.

Biography:
He was bullied from the very moment he stepped foot in school. Even in elementary - Kindergarten, there were those particular students who classified themselves as the leaders, the rule makers, the ones to set up the social clicks. Theo was immediately branded a loser simply because he owned a Pokemon backpack. Pokemon was "dumb." Pokemon was for "babies." The Power Ranger lunch pail didn't exactly help his case.

He was teased, isolated, pushed around. The bullying only got worse the older he got. Once he hit middle school, there was one bully in particular who made it his every day goal to make him feel inferior in every way possible. He would constantly throw things at him in class, disrupting his studying and focus. He would flick him in the head, punch him and wipe whatever he picked out of his nose on his shirt as they passed by each other in the halls. He would call him names, mock him in front of his friends and of course, tell Theo that he would beat him up if he ever fought back. It simply became Theo's daily mission to just survive the seven hours of hell. He was too proud to say anything, too scared that if he did say anything, he would really get hurt. Unfortunately, this rendered him void of any social life. So not only did Theo dread going to school, but he had no one there to help him through it.

High school hit, and the bullying got worse. Not only was he the weird, anti-social kid that everyone just picked on, but he had gained a bit of weight. With no friends, he defaulted to watching cartoons, playing video and card games and acquiring a collection of "nerd" things instead of getting involved in sports like most other guys did. It didn't help his physique at all, and though he was far from being obese, his little pudge around the middle and in the face only fueled his bullies even further into tormenting him. He also joined in on band, playing and writing for just about every instrument the school had available for him to learn - his first true hint that he might not be "just another kid." His backpack and school supplies would get stolen or worse - thrown into puddles of water and mud out on the grounds, forever ruining them. His lunch would get taken, he would get thrown into dumpsters, get his head shoved into a toilet and flushed, blamed for just about everything and beat up on breaks.

By the time he was fifteen, his mother had finally given in to the fact that Theo just wasn't safe in regular schools. She had always figured that it would have been monsters to come and attack her little boy, as she had been warned by Apollo. But the "mythological" monsters were nothing compared to the real monsters that ruled the high school. One particular incident had done it. There was a group of boys that were deemed Theo's bullies. They thought it would be funny to plant a bomb threat on the school so they could get out of a few classes during the day. They were caught, and when confronted about it, blamed the entire thing (with convincing stories) on Theo. Before Theo had a chance to tell his side of the story, his bullies had him cornered, ripped off his jacket, broke his wrist and administered a series of chemical burns all along his forearm, threatening that if he didn't take the blame, they would do much worse.

He was expelled the next school day for the bomb threat he never did. He was immediately sent to Camp, spending a few days talking with both Chiron and his mother about how special he was, who he was and both helped him adjust to his new life. It was a new start.

The broken wrist healed quickly thanks to his fellow half-brothers and sisters in the Apollo cabin. The chemical burns, however, would remain as scars on his dark flesh as there was nothing they could do about them.

He loved camp. He didn't have to wake up every day feeling afraid, and save for a few pricks in the Ares cabin, he managed to get along with mostly everyone. He learned their stories, shared his own, and created bonds with other bully victims that otherwise would never be able to be created. It was how he grew to know and become close with Erin - daughter of Hades. When she arrived in camp a year after his arrival, she was covered in cuts and bruises, emotionally broken. Without even having to talk to her, he knew that on a mental level, he was able to relate. So he took her to his half-brothers and sisters to help her back to health. He learned her story, just as he did with others, shared his own, and the two found comfort with one another.

Theo now spends nearly all of his time at camp. There are a few weeks in the early months of September and sometimes even October where he will leave camp to visit various schools around the United States and talk to an assembly on bullying - sharing his own personal story on how he (mostly) overcame it. Sometimes, he lets the Ares kids get to him.

~Demigod Information~


Demigod Abilities:

Swordsmanship: While not great, Theo does hold the ability to be able to handle a sword and though he looks a little awkward holding it, once he starts getting into the action it becomes second nature. He is constantly surprised after he does something he never knew he was capable of doing, which oftentimes makes him distracted and vulnerable to his opponent for the time being. He has a long way to go to live up to his father's name in swordsmanship.

Musical Ability: Just like his father, Theo is a bit of a musical prodigy and can play nearly any instrument he sets his mind to. Starting with the piano at just the age of eight, he worked his way up through school until he had mastered various other instruments including (but not limited to) the guitar, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, clarinet, drums and flute. Recently he has picked up the lyre and is currently working on making it his new mastery. And although he hardly practices it save for maybe in the shower or when he's alone in his room composing music, Theo had a remarkable singing voice he has been told by his mother that could serenade any girl he could ever want.

- Audiokinesis: Theo can make a sharp ultrasonic whistle-like sound that can temporarily stun his opponents, making them to clutch their ears in confusion. He prefers this method of "fighting" to the sword.

Pyrokinesis: Not much to look twice at, Theo does possess the ability to control some amounts of fire. Successfully, Theo has been able to use a preexisting fire (such as a fireplace or lighter) and manipulate the flame to light a series of candles and douse smaller flames such as a candle. A few times, he has also been able to relight these sorts of flames if the fire hasn't long gone out and the heat is still there to be manipulated.

- Fire Immunity: An ability that he is rather grateful for, as he can be quite the klutz when experimenting with his fire powers, Theo is completely invulnerable to fire and heat and thus can not be burned. This has not yet been put to the test to Marcel's black hellfire.

Enhanced Healing: Not nearly on the level of most of the other Apollo kids, Theo does possess the ability of being able to heal things at a much quicker rate than what is considered normal. Though still slow, Theo has recently been able to help a chipmunk he had found in the forest with a broken leg to heal completely within a week - though his half-siblings would be able to do the same feat within a matter of hours.

Teleportation: Currently one of the abilities Theo is currently working on, Theo is currently able to teleport himself to opposite ends of the camp without injury. He hasn't tried going beyond those limits, however, but is now working on being able to teleport other people, whether it be with him or without him.

~Weaponry Information~


Weapon/s: Though a bit awkward with a sword, when in the right situation Theo can definitely become a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Not only this, but Theo's rational thinking makes him good at strategizing and deescalating situations that would otherwise turn into a blood bath.

Bexley is reserved and an avid people watcher. Her days prior to Camp

This though has caused issues in the past as she doesn't always pick up on social cues if she isn't fully paying attention and even then things can go south quickly. Often times this can cause issues with others because it can frustrate them. She is blunt and rarely holds back her opinions of people, which she thinks in admirable but sometimes people just donโ€™t like the truth. However, most people who know her story (although, she isn't one to share it) tend to be pretty understanding of why she is the way she is. She shies away from people but if you manage to gain her trust, you have her full loyalty..

Biography:
Bexley doesn't know anything about her father that the rest of the world doesn't know, she doesn't even know what drew him to her mother when she was 20. But something had and she was worse for it. Her mother's wasn't able to work due to mental illness, which left them on unstable footing. It was just Bexley and her mother, with no support system, and after Bex's fifth birthday, they found themselves moving from shelter to shelter trying to stay off the streets. She didn't understand at the time why she wasn't going to the school but when they were going from meal to meal, it wasn't exactly something that she dwelled on. It wasn't important to her. What was though, was the absence of her father. Why hadn't he come and taken them in? Why wasn't he giving them a home that her mom couldn't afford. However, whenever Bexley asked her mother the story was always the same. At the time, hadn't believed it, Sarah had always told these strange stories that no one really could believe and ended up blaming it on her deteriorating mental health.

At the age of 12, Bexley ran away from her mother, after a cruel comment during one of her mother's episodes stating that life would be better had she never had Bexley. Looking back on it, Bexley knew her mother didn't really mean it, she was just sick. However, she had fully believed it when she ran away and ended up living on the streets by herself. A year later was when the weird things started happening. Strange creatures chasing her through the streets of Vancouver but with her mother's history of Schizophrenia, she thought that maybe it was happening to her. She was thinking logically about it, too logically until she was saved from the claws of some beast by a man with a sword. Quickly, he explained to her what had happened, what was happening, and that they needed to get a move on. It all seemed pretty sketchy and she might not have gone had it not been that another monster was charging at them.

That was how, at the age of 15, she came to Camp Half Blood, dirt covered, in ragged clothing, and completely illiterate.

Biography:
Born in California, Imogenโ€™s mother never once tried to hide the fact that her father was nowhere around, and was perhaps far away. She didnโ€™t give Imogen much information about her father, other than the fact that he was a good looking guy who treated her well. Imogen has no memories of her father.

Home schooled from a young age, Imogen nevertheless had many social activities, from theatre, to karate, to book club and singing. She was quite a friendly person, and soon had a nice circle of friends. When she turned 11, Imogen first entered the official school system, and thrilled for it, imogen spent a few months in a normal school environment.

Until strange things began to happen, almost dangerous things, and her mother sat her down one day, explaining what she was, and all about the camp. However, Imogen decided to stick it out for a few months more, until her mother was badly hurt in a strange incident. Daughter of Poseidon, Immy is strong for her size and gender, and is extremely durable. this strength is related to the fact that she is the daughter of one of the "Big Three" but ultimately, she is not super strong, rather just stronger than she should be otherwise. She has inherited two of her fathers abilities, hydrokinesis and a bond with horses.

~Personal Information~


Personality:
First and foremost, Marcel is a drug addict. It doesn't matter what drugs, when or where, if it can get Marcel to quit feeling, she will take it without a moments hesitation, and then keep up on it to keep from getting sober. If ever in the off chance that she is sober, she becomes exceptionally irritable, and even violent, until she gets her next fix.

Marcel, by default, is a very private person who would prefer her own company rather than anyone else. Though she is far from shy, as she can contribute enough to a conversation when she needs to, she is an extreme introvert - not even liking to go outside much. She's a liar, having learned early on from her mother that telling the truth most times just wasn't an option. While these lies can range from simple, white lies to deep, entangled ones, it has become a regular part of her speech pattern. As an example, when someone asks her how she is, her immediate response would be "I'm fine." Though she is far from it. This also dips into her sarcastic side as well. Since telling the truth is exceptionally difficult for her, sometimes her answers come across as very dry and/or sarcastic, letting someone know that while she's not exactly lying, it's clear she doesn't want to talk about whatever subject it is.

Also tied to this is her way of manipulation. When asked about her drug problem, she will simply reply, "I have it under control" or "I can stop any time I want" basically ending the conversation right then and there without having to get into it. She shifts blame everywhere but herself, unable to cope with knowing that she and she alone has destroyed her life. Over the last year, her favorite subject to blame is her ex-girlfriend, Sarah, for making her the way she is. Though sometimes the blame does shift towards her father, Hades, or her negligent mother, Lilith.

She finds nothing wrong with the illegal acts she partakes in, both drug and criminal, and comes across as believing herself to be above the law. By this, it comes across as bravery - of not being afraid of getting into trouble or facing consequences, but anyone who is able to look her in the eye knows it better as cowardice.

Marcel is also fond of chaos. If things seem a little stale, it would not be beyond her to quietly steal a personable item from someone or set up a trap that guarantees someone else will be blamed for it. And because she is so quiet and recluse, not a single soul would even expect this side out of her while she sits back and just watches the events unfold. She has the Goddess, Ate to thank for this.

Strengths:
Marcel prefers to be more of a sidelines kind of person, however when faced in a situation where fighting is inevitable, she is quick, agile and resourceful.

Quick reflexes: Not having a whole lot of battle lore engrained into her brain like most campers, Marcel sticks to one weapon and one weapon only that she has developed near mastery levels of. Her twin blades, Prick and Barb, are always on her person, tucked into small straps on the inside of her combat boots. Her extremely quick reflexes almost always grant her the first hit, and though the blades themselves aren't very big or intimidating, Marcel attacks to severely injure or even kill. She has taken lives before, and she's not afraid to do it again. She believes that while on drugs, she is able to be faster, quicker, and all around better.

Artistic: Marcel has a very right-brained way of thinking, and often times expresses her inner self on either the walls of her bedroom, various canvases around her room, or on paper where she designs her own tattoo ideas.

Biography:
Marcel was born addicted to drugs.

Her mother, Lilith, didn't exactly have the best lifestyle. Being a bit of a drug addict herself, Lilith didn't stop her addictions even after discovering that she was pregnant with Hades' child. It was a difficult pregnancy, one that nearly killed Lilith in the process, but after giving birth to Marcella, it seemed that her "motherly" duties were finished.

Marcella got the most bare-bones upbringing any child would be able to survive. Though she lived with her mother, Lilith was much more like a teenage babysitter that would rather be on the phone, have sex with a new man every week, and do drugs, right in front of her like she wasn't even there. She got locked in her room a lot, as Lilith just didn't know what to do with a child, nor did she particularly want one, and Lilith made that very clear to Marcella almost daily when she'd scream at the child for ruining her life for existing.

She was left with strangers frequently while Lilith went out to indulge in her lifestyle, and in the very rare moments when it was just the two of them together, and Lilith was slowly coming down from whatever high she managed, she would tell Lilith of her father. She told her that he was a God - Hades. She would tell her of their passionate love affair that was over before it began. It wasn't until Marcella was thrown into school and began learning about the Greek Gods did she deem her mother simply crazy for such wild stories. She didn't know who her father was, and she didn't care. Hell, she hardly had a mother, just what the hell was a father? And just what the hell was a normal family, anyway?

So Marcella continued to grow up dysfunctional. She had friends that had normal lives, but it was like she was watching from the other side of glass - only able to observe, but never able to know it for herself. When she wasn't at school, she was either at home stealing her mothers drugs (having learned at a very early age how to use them) or out on the city getting into trouble. The first time she landed herself in juvenile hall was after getting caught in a break-in to her school. The police tried returning her home, but when her mother wasn't there, they kept her at the police station until Lilith came to pick her up. But instead of taking her home, Lilith signed the papers to admit her daughter into juvenile hall. She claimed it was so that it would straighten Marcella out, but Marcella knew that it was because she just didn't want her around, and it was like a free daycare service.

Marcella preferred juvie over her own home, anyway.

By the time she hit high school, Marcel (as she had dropped her full name a while ago because it felt too "soft") had already been in and out of juvenile hall thirteen times. She smoked, drank, got high - anything she could get her hands on which was rather easy because of the access she had to it at home, and her mother didn't seem to care. She was pierced, tattooed, and was making all sorts of wrong friends.

She eventually ended up with a girlfriend that was much more serious than any other relationship she had in the past. Sarah and Marcel met in their art class their very first year of high school at the age of fourteen. They dated seriously throughout high school, even through Marcel's brief disappearances to juvenile hall. It was when Marcel turned sixteen that things began to change.

Strange things began happening to Marcel. She would just be walking along the streets of LA when three cloaked, wrinkled old ladies would be carrying around a spool of blue yarn between them, seeming to follow a particular person. Then, they would cut the yarn with a strange (and very large) pair of shears, and then they were gone, but left behind was a very strange (and upsetting) smell of what Marcel could only describe as wet, old mold mixed with stale cat piss and maybe something a bit sulfury. Figuring it might have been some bad reaction to a new dose of drugs she was on, Marcel shook it off. But then when she was cornered at gunpoint by a small group of gang bangers looking for money and a good time...

It was as though she were watching herself in a movie. There was darkness. Shadows seemed to swallow up her attackers, and unexplained fear drove them away, shouting something about a fire woman. Confused, still coming off of her drugs, Marcel eventually passed out in the alley only to be picked up by the police short of a few minutes later. When Lilith bailed her out a few days later and brought her home, she went straight for the pills and was out cold not soon after. Marcel took the opportunity to start looking around the house - a lot of her mother's boyfriends liked to pick off of what little trinkets they had, and there was bound to be a stash of crack or heroine somewhere. Rummaging through an old cabinet, Marcel came across a pamphlet titled Camp Half-Blood. Flipping through it quickly, it seemed to be some sort of summer camp. Was Lilith really thinking about sending her away for good this time?

Then, one of her mother's "boyfriends" came home, and went straight for her. Figuring that he wanted to use her as a snuff for his cigarette again, or just slam her into a wall and call her trash as per usual, Marcel only flinched once but before he reached her, something change. His skin began to shift, and he began to make the most ungodly sound. Maybe it was the drugs, maybe it was the fact she hadn't had anything proper to eat or had any sleep in the last few days. Either way, what looked like a large, mechanical bird took the place of where the man's body had been, it's razor sharp beak out for blood - her blood. Marcel still doesn't know how she managed it, but as one thing led to another and she was sent flying through the front window of their house and into the street by what she was later able to identify as a Stymphalian Bird, she quickly picked herself up, melted and killed the beast with some kind of fire, and ran. Maybe this summer camp wasn't exactly a bad idea?

So Marcel went to Camp Half-Blood, quickly understanding afterwards just what was happening to her, and that her father, like Lilith had said, was Lord Hades. She never sent her mother a single letter, phone call, text... nothing. Why would she? Lilith was just another body that occupied the house she grew up in. She did, however, keep in touch with her girlfriend, Sarah, and for two more years they were able to keep that relationship going. During those two years, Marcel did what she could to go and see Sarah. If she wasn't spending her summer in The Underworld with her father, than she was with Sarah. Things were going really well and Marcel even had thoughts of proposing to her, until one surprise visit to her girlfriend and she found her in bed with a man.

Marcel would tell you that she blacked out after that incident. But what really happened that night is something she would never forget. She developed a thirst for death. The very moment a person's soul leaves their eyes, dissipating into golden dust around her... it became like a second drug. But unlike her other drugs, she knew that this just wasn't something that should be okay, though she struggles with it almost every day. She has killed, and she liked it.

~Demigod Information~


Demigod Abilities:

Necromancy (limited): Unlike her father, Marcel has very limited abilities as far as what she can do with those who have since departed.

- Power Over the Undead: It has only happened once, and with someone as stone-cold as Marcel, even she was a bit freaked out by it. When extremely agitated, Marcel has the ability to call forth the dead to fight for her. In the one instance, she managed to reanimate skeletons that dug themselves out of "hell" and were not only loyal and obedient to her, but were quite a force to reckoned with. She was able to summon three before she freaked out and disbanded the control, leaving them lifeless once more and "fading" back into the earth. While spending time down in the Underworld, if the lost souls grate enough on her nerves, she also has the ability to silence them with a quick motion.

- Death Sense: Her most hated ability. Marcel considers being able to sense when a person is dying and when their soul is being judged in the underworld as a curse, and has gone to a few lengths to see if it can't be removed from her permanently. Being able to sense other people's life auras, while annoying, is still much better than being able to "smell" death on a person, and would much rather just have that.


Umbrakinesis: Marcel has some control over shadows and darkness, though in comparison to her father and half-sister, Erin, these abilities are almost laughable.

- Darkness Generation: She can use solid bolts of darkness as a secondary weapon, but it wouldn't be any more effective than throwing a small rock at someone. She is able to, however, surround enemies into pitch black clouds of lightless space for a very brief period of time - enough to make them start to panic a bit.

- Darkness Shields: Marcel can solidify shadows into a small sort of shield that can deflect most assailing attacks, however she wouldn't exactly put it up to the test of Zeus' thunderbolts just yet.

Dark Infernal Pyrokinesis: Marcel's favorite ability - the control over black hellfire, which is considerably more destructive than normal flames as it turns whatever it touches into liquid. She is able to conjure and control it through her hands and uses it's extreme heat to light her cigarettes or bongs (having liquefied many in the past while she was still learning to use it).

Marcel keeps a small pair of sewing scissors in her back pocket at all times. When the two handles are twisted apart, they become her dual daggers, Prick and Barb - Hell's Scream.

Marcel has a wide variety of tattoos and piercings. Her earlobes are gauged to a size eight on each side. Her right ear has three different helix piercings that is gauged to a size ten, and her left ear has four of the same size. Her nostril is pierced on the right side with a closed hoop ring, and her septum is also pierced with the same kind of closed hoop ring. Her lip is pierced on the right side in a common snake bite fashion with an open hoop ring. Both her nipples are pierced as well as her navel on the lower portion. Her tongue is also pierced twice, with one on each side of her tongue.

Her tattoos consist of one, larger piece on her left ribcage, a small chest piece and a small skull hidden away in her right ear.

She also has her father's symbol on the inside of her left wrist.

Personality:
Jamie is more or less defined as an overall relaxed sort of person, living with a go-with-the-flow attitude. To those he is close to, Jamie tends to show off his more goofy and humorous side and while he was no class clown, he does have a niche for making people smile at his teenage boy antics. To those who he isn't close to or just doesn't like, however, gets more of his dry humor and sarcastic side that often times gets him into trouble. Under more normal circumstances, Jamie is a very social and friendly person by default and though he has made more than a few enemies, tends to get along with most people even if those most people have a harder time learning to like him. However since Jamie hardly knows many people at camp, not very many people have seen this side of him and instead get the closed off, sarcastic and almost bitter exterior her puts up as a front to keep himself protected. When under stressful situations, or situations in particular that require a more personal touch, something that usually irks people about Jamie is his calm demeanor about it all. It comes across as him not caring - a shrug of the shoulders and a change of subject usually being a sign. But on the inside, his head is continuously thinking over the problem, and how best to tackle it. He just doesn't see any point in wasting any energy in outwardly stressing about things. Even when people are physically trying to get under his skin, he just doesn't react. A lot of people wonder just how he can keep calm so easily. The truth is, he has what one of the other campters, Theo, likes to call "Hulk Syndrome." He keeps everything bottled up, pushed down, and builds on it until he reaches the point of boiling over and can't retain it until most of his anger has been let out in some way, shape or form.

Competition is a whole other story completely, however. Jamie always enjoys a good, stimulating challenge even when it is meant to be a friendly spar. Not exactly competitive to the point where he feels he has to win all the time no matter what, he actually enjoys losing as much as winning. He takes his winning by a measure of the progress he has made, and losing is just another way for him to look at how much more he has left to grow. Being able to put this scale on a more physical scale gives him enough incentive to keep from being lazy (most times) and continue to be active, learning how to become better and stronger. The adrenaline that he gains while competing is something that he has come to love and even crave, always excited to start again until his body refuses to cooperate with him any longer or he has run out of people to compete against.

For being a son of one of the Big Three, the King of the gods, no less, Jamie isn't one for bragging or cockiness. He doesn't view himself as any better than anyone else unless they give him reason to believe so. Deon, for example, Jamie views himself better than simply on a level of maturity. Jamie isn't exactly mature, either, but when compared to someone like Deon, Jamie is as mature as they come. Though try as he might, Jamie strives to not jump into judging or labeling people, knowing that underestimating a potential opponent is one of the biggest mistakes that can be made. He's not exactly the smartest tactician, however. His mind sometimes just has problems making plans and thinking through things before acting on them. He regrets a lot of these decisions, but he tries to learn from them, but it doesn't keep him from sometimes wishing his godly parent might have been someone like Athena.

All in all, Jamie just wants to laugh, make friends, and have a good time. And now that he has the opportunity to make friends who are... well... like him, and teachers to can help him learn how to be himself by means of exercising his abilities, Jamie has already decided that coming to Camp Half-Blood is one of the best things that could have happened to him in a long, long time. Now he just has to make sure he doesn't screw up or do anything to embarrass himself as the new guy.

Strengths:
Jamie is very athletic. Having played football from elementary school to the end of his high school days, he always invested in working out and staying healthy. His favorite past time at the moment is running. He finds that running clears his head and gives him time to think and collect his thoughts.

He isn't one to give up, either. He'll stick to what he's put his heart into until the very end. Some call him stubborn, others call him a resilient son of a bitch. He's probably a little bit of both. He likes to go by the motto "champions don't stay down when they fall, they always pick themselves back up no matter what."

With his mother's prodding, James took to learning the martial art style of Muay Tai at a young age. Little did he know that his mother was attempting to prepare him just a little for his life as a Demigod. Having studied this art of fighting for quite some time now, he has become quite the opponent in hand to hand combat.

One of Jamie's best qualities is being able to stay calm in intense and/or chaotic situations. He works well under pressure and is likely to lead the weak or scared in crisis situations.

Biography:
Jamie Michael Wolfe was born to Jessica Wolfe when she was still a young adult. Jessica never forgave Zeus for taking advantage of her naivety at the age of 19. He was practically there long enough to knock her up, and then he was gone, leaving Jessica to go through pregnancy and the birthing process, alone. Unable to balance college and taking care of her newborn son, Jessica was forced to drop out. Growing up poor with only one parent to help raise him was stressful for Jamie. His mom was always working, maintaining two jobs to support them both. This left James alone most of the time, having no father around and no other siblings. Only babysitters that ranged from staying two days to two months at a time, unable to handle the young, ADHD boy for very long.

Because of this, at a young age, Jamie learned that it was okay to be alone, and even came to enjoy it. It made him independent and he believes that it even made him smarter in some instances. He had no one to rely on but himself and his mother in the rare times that he was able to spend time with her. He had to teach himself how to do pretty much everything, especially when it came to school - the babysitters were no help. School was never easy for him though, it took a lot of determination and grit to be a good student with his Demigod disorders. His ADHD and dyslexia made paying attention almost impossible and English class was a living Hell.

For most of his school life, Jamie had no friends. He was very introverted when he was younger and just wanted to make his mother proud and go to college like she hadn't been able to do. It didn't help that he started working as well as going to high school, putting even more pressure on him. But he somehow survived. James worked at a small cafรฉ, mainly trying to just make some money so his mom didn't have to work so hard on his behalf.

By his senior year, Jamie had finally come out of his shell. He still didn't have many friends but at least he finally began opening up to people. He realized that he didn't want to be just some guy that no one remembered in a couple years after high school. He wanted to make a lasting impression, one that people would talk fondly of for years to come as a sort of legend amongst his younger peers. Things didn't work out that way, however. A series of unfortunate events lead to Jamie ending up at Camp Half-Blood. And though coming to camp was the best thing that could have ever happened to him, he wishes that it had been under better, less nightmarish circumstances.

One particular night, James and his mother ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. A man ran up behind them as they were about to get into James' car to drive home, and held them up at gunpoint. With a gun pointed at his mother's head, James panicked. The event must have triggered his demigod abilities because a bolt of lightning came down from the sky and struck the robber dead. Unfortunately, the electricity caused the attacker's muscles to contract, making his finger clench around the trigger of the gun, and next to the crisp corpse lying in the street gutter was the warm, still lifelike body of his mother.

Jamie never could get than image out of his head - the lightning, his mother dropping to the ground like a rock, knowing that he had somehow caused it... Instead of a funeral for his mother, all Jamie got was a Satyr and a one-way ticket to Camp Half-Blood. Apparently, the attacker wasn't just some guy, but a Greek monster under a disguise. Jamie still doesn't exactly know what the Saytr meant by that.

Jamie is relatively new to camp, having only been there for a couple months. He hasn't said much to anyone, in fact, he's still grieving for his mother. Lately he's been better though, each day is gutting slowly brighter. He's becoming a stronger fighter, honing his abilities. He's going to turn the very weapon that killed the woman dearest to him and use it for good to the best of his abilities. And if anyone gets in his way of doing that, well, he'll see them in the Underworld.

~Demigod Information~


Demigod Abilities:
Aerokinesis: Jamie can manipulate and create wind with this ability. Most of the time he uses this to create strong blasts of air or even to bind a person or object with "ropes of wind." But with more training, he is capable of so much more.

- Flight: Jamie is able to ride the currents in the air, allowing him to fly without the need of wings. He still has a long way to go before being able to do this both accurately and without crashing when attempting to land, but he still has a blast doing it.

Electrokinesis: Being a son of Zeus, Jamie can control and create electricity.

- Static Electricity: Jamie can generate bolts, orbs, and arcs of electricity from anywhere on his body. Though he is far from being able to accurately control them, when training he tends to be as far away from camp as he possibly can to keep from hurting anyone. The last thing he wants is a repeat of what had happened last time.

- Static Shock: He also possesses the ability to send strong electrical currents though objects or people by means of physical contact. With this, he can also perform a feat he likes to call the "Taser," where he maintains physical contact and uses electricity to lock up his opponents muscles, rendering them paralyzed for the duration of the physical contact and a few moments after.

- Lightning Bolts: Probably his deadliest ability, Jamie can summon lightning bolts from the sky. Doing this drains him significantly and usually leads to extreme fatigue, migraines, nausea and even blackouts lasting between minutes, hours and even days.

- Electrical Immunity/Absorption: Jamie is completely immune to all forms of electricity. In fact, it seems to boost his powers slightly. Not that he gets struck by lightning or sticks a fork in an outlet on a regular basis.

Biography:
Left on her father's doorstep by her mother, Athena, Niesha, elder of the twins, could be seen snuggling closer to her brother Michael. Under their blanket with them was a letter, sealed with Athenaโ€™s mark. Athena rang the doorbell, and left her children to their father. Before the door was opened, she stooped and kissed both babies, before disappearing.

Their father took them in, and Niesha grew up in a relatively normal household. Never alone, always with her brother, Niesha always knew there was something different about them, yet she didnโ€™t let this bother her. She had her brother, what else did she need? Displaying skill in the after school activities that she showed interest in, their father allowed such activities to occur, becoming as involved in them as the twins themselves.

Their father was a constant in their lives, always making them feel loved and wanted. He had a good job that let him be there when they woke up, and be there when they got home from school. He instilled responsibilities into them, insisting that they get a part time job, and telling them to put their money aside. Niesha got a job working at the schoolโ€™s library. She knew where every book was, and could quote from many of them. She even started writing her own book, until six months before their 16th birthday, their father fell ill, soon diagnosised with Cancer. Their father fought hard, and was soon clear of the deadly disease, but it fell to Niesha to develop more mundane home life skills, taking over more and more of the cooking, cleaning and household management.

A couple of months before their 17th birthday, Niesha found an injured owlet, and took it home, caring for it until it was able to live on its own, however the owl chose to stay with Niesha, and followed her around everywhere.

On their 17th birthday, their father set them down and showed them the letter their mother had left with them, telling their father they were his children, and that one day they would come to the camp, when the time was right. There was a half blurred sentence, perhaps were a tear or two had fallen I love them, but theyโ€™ll have a better life with you at the end of the letter, and a signature. He showed them the seal, and said they should go to the camp. He had noticed the weird happenings around them, but hadnโ€™t wanted to give them up. Now, after receiving another diagnosis of Cancer, he knew he was only holding onto them for himself.

They went off to the camp, not knowing their father was dying.

An extremely shy young man, Michael suffers from an almost crippling stutter that he doesnโ€™t seem able to control in the slightest. He seems to get frustrated at trying to hold a conversation, and always wonders if people are annoyed or exhausted by him, as such he doesnโ€™t tend to speak a lot. Highly self-conscious, Michael can be seen as a bit of a loner, and more than a little strange. Despite all this, he is a rather bright young man, with a courage that defies his passive nature. He would rather discuss something, then fight about it, and the same goes for battle. If something canโ€™t be solved by words, Michael will use his mind to try and find a more peaceful way of ending things.

Personality: An aloof introvert with a grim, cynical sense of humor and a deep, almost obsessive fascination with occult knowledge, Simon Riddle remains one of the most enigmatic and mysterious campers at Camp Half-Blood. Ungregarious, Simon often feels out of place in a crowd, his discomfort only further exacerbated when interacting with strangers. Though noted for his exceptional courtesy and good manners, Simon prefers to keep a few close, enduring friendships, content in his small social circle. Indeed, while incredibly polite in conversation, many find Simon to be reserved or even dull, smiling little, and showing little interest in anything that doesn't catch his attention. Possessing an uncanny ability to make others uncomfortable with his blunt honesty and morbid humor, coupled with an eerie, humorless smile and piercing gaze, Simon unwittingly holds a dark reputation within the Camp, with some associating him as a pagan devil-worshipper or dark sorcerer. That being said, Simon does not intentionally flout social conventions, and appears genuinely shocked upon realizing he was being rude or discomforting. However, Simon can be notoriously untrustworthy and unreliable at times, frequently using his illusive powers to trick even his closest friends, disguising his appearance, subtly altering the environment, or even concealing himself behind the guise of a monster, with no apparent goal or motivation behind these deceptions.

Beneath his eccentric, crafty exterior, Simon struggles heavily with insomnia, feelings of self-doubt, and a desire to impress his mother, often secluding himself when needing time to think alone; hiding away either in his Cabin, or within the deep of Half-Blood Forest, disappearing for hours, or possibly even days before reappearing spontaneously, acting no different than when he left.

A mystery unlikely to be solved anytime soon, Simon's path is a strange and difficult one, but not one he walks without aid.

Hobbies:
Befitting his bohemian-like nature, Simon is a man of many strange, and unrelated hobbies. An avid, if somewhat unskilled instrumentalist, Simon can be randomly found playing most any instrument one can think of, showing notable talent at the piano. Constantly bored, Simon stimulates his mind by performing random, nonsensical activities, such as firing a crossbow at his bedroom wall; using magic to change his appearance to "try a new look"; drawing rune symbols either on paper, or etching them into wood; knitting; or writing short stories for fun.

Strengths:
  • Occult Knowledge- A genius in no uncertain terms, Simon seems to specializes in mythical, occult knowledge of not only Greek mythology, but folklore from various other countries and cultures, as well. Knowledgeable of seemingly any monster or supernatural being, Simon is an invaluable ally to have should one have a question regarding the hidden Greek or Roman world.
  • Profiling- An immensely skilled reader of people, Simon is incredibly difficult to trick or deceive, his keen eye noticing small details that many others miss.
  • Alchemy- An adept alchemist, Simon is skilled at not only identifying alchemical ingredients and symbols, but also crafting various potions and poultices, with effects ranging from causing infatuation and obsession; confusion and disorientation; a deep sleep; personal comfort and soothing agitation; to even instilling good luck. More dramatic potions that Hecate's cabin is rather infamous for causes the drinker to turn into various creatures such as hamsters or piglets, often used as pranks against other cabins.
  • Latin Fluency- While naturally inclined towards Ancient Greek due to his parentage, Simon is also naturally fluent in Latin, able to speak, read, and write it perfectly.


Weaknesses:
  • Pride- Though not overtly self-important or haughty, Simon nevertheless is enormously confident in his intelligence and abilities, strongly bordering on outright arrogance. While not actively seeking fame, Simon gains pleasure in confusing or baffling others with his exceptional knowledge and responds receptively to flattery much the same way a child of Aphrodite would in being called beautiful. Consequently, he becomes quite offended if someone either downplays his intelligence, or attempts to outperform him.
  • Martial Prowess- Though physically fit and quite healthy, Simon is not a warrior by any stretch, falling back on his magic in any conflict. Somewhat clumsy and walking with a permanent limp, Simon can only win physical battles through trickery or ambush, quickly beaten should he lose these factors.
  • Untrustworthiness- An enigmatic and closed-off individual, even Simon's closest friends know very little about his overall goal and motives. While no one (discounting a few enemies) questions his loyalty to Camp Half-Blood or Olympus, very few people are inclined to trust Simon due to his underlying craftiness and darker traits.
  • Restless Mind- Needless to say, Simon never stops thinking, his mind racing at a thousand miles per hour regardless of the hour of day. As a result, Simon is a textbook insomniac, often struggling to fall or stay asleep for even average periods of time. Similarly, while awake, Simon finds it nearly impossible to sit still and quiet unless engrossed in something within his circle of interests, which even then is accompanied by humming, fidgeting, nail-biting, and music-playing to give his brain something to do.


Biography: Born on a stormy autumn night in Beverly, Massachusetts, Simon claims to recall little of note during his childhood. His father, Dean, was a quirky, ineffably friendly FBI agent who had the uncommon ability to see through the Mist. From the time he was old enough to read, Simon was extensively taught not only Greek mythology; but Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Tibet, and Native American mythology from his father, who firmly believed that knowledge was the greatest gift a person could receive. He excelled in his schooling, though deliberately kept his grades below exceptional to avoid standing out amidst his peers.

Simon was often excluded by his classmates, considered "weird" and a "freak" for his lack of social skills and fascination with the arcane. Because of this, he grew up a very lonely child, his only friends being whatever animals he would come into contact with and his own father.

As the years passed, Simon's loneliness grew. He attempted to fit in with the other boys in his class, but lacked the athletic skill and coordination that many young children had. It was in one of these desperate attempts to prove himself that he fell out of a tree he was climbing, fracturing his leg. Though the injury healed without issue, it left him with a permanent limp that only further alienated him from the rest of his peers.

However, Simon's luck would shift when he turned the age of 13. A young transfer student by the name of Emilie Brooks had recently moved to the United States from Canada, and started attending Simon's school. She became acquainted with Simon almost immediately, looking beyond the "strange gimp boy" to see the true individual underneath. Simon grew enamored with her vibrant, sunny nature, feeling revitalized in her presence. Their continued interaction evolved from acquaintances to friendship to romantic attraction. Simon felt as though, for the first time, he was not alone in a world he did not belong in, and that things were finally about to change. . . But as with all things during middle-school years, nothing lasts. Not long after Simon's 14th birthday, Emilie moved away to a different state, following her father's recent job promotion and transfer. Now left alone once again, Simon could only stand back and watch.

The years dragged on with little change; Simon receded further within himself, letting others view him as they saw fit. Covering his emotions with a layer of eccentric whimsy, Simon kept to himself, content to live in his own private little world.

By the time Simon turned 16, his demigod status was revealed to him personally by his own mother, who gave him a spell-book and magical cane as a claiming present. Sent to Camp Half-Blood now that his status was revealed, Simon immersed himself in his Greek heritage, becoming rather well-known in the camp as a resident scholar and magician, even with very few, if any friends to speak of. Spending much of his spare time wandering the dense, mystical forests of Camp Half-Blood, Simon feels, for perhaps the first time in his life, somewhere he belongs.





~Demigod Abilities~


Demigod Abilities: As a Child of the Mist, Simon is one of the few demigods in the world outside his Cabin with the natural ability to cast spells and control the Mist, making him one of the more unpredictable and versatile demigods within Camp Half-Blood, with the potential for great power - or great destruction.

Mist Control:
  • Illusion Casting- The bread-and-butter of his magical abilities, Simon can cast powerful and persuasive illusions, making mortal and demigod alike see what he wants them to see. Simon's use of this power an range from changing his hair color or conjuring a duplicate of himself to creating full-scale battles that look and feel almost entirely real, though the physical and mental strain of casting these illusions are relative to their size and magnitude, leaving Simon completely exhausted should he overexert himself. The full extent of Simon's illusory powers is unknown, seemingly only limited by his imagination and mental limits.
  • Memory Manipulation- As the Mist is the veil that separates the mythical and mortal worlds, Simon can manipulate the memories of any mortal lacking Clear Sight with physical contact, changing or erasing memories of individuals and events, replacing them with something grounded in realism. Using this power has no ill-effect on the mortal except leaving them in a momentary confused state of Dรฉjร  vu.
  • Concealment- Simon can hide the real form of something to both humans and demigods, which is what allows a demigod's weapon to disguise itself as a pen or baseball bat when looked upon by a mortal. On a much grander scale, during the Second Titan War, Typhon used the Mist to disguise his true form as a massive ocean storm, even concealing the majority of his true form to demigods.
  • Disguise- Simon can use the Mist to disguise the physical appearance of himself and anyone he chooses, altering attire, voice, and physical aspect into an almost entirely accurate masquerade. Simon can also use this ability to mimic or conjure false injuries that dissipate once the illusion ends.
  • Invisibility- One of Simon's more taxing powers allows him to render himself and others unseen and unheard through a subtle trick on the mind as opposed to bending light waves. This power requires immense concentration on Simon's part, and any lapse in focus will cause him and anyone else to turn visible again.






~Weaponry Information~


Weapon An enchanted magical staff in the form of a walking cane.
Weapon Type: Forged partially of silver
Attributes: A claiming gift from Hecate, Simon's cane is full of potential magical energy, enhanced by various enchantments from Hecate, herself that make it nigh-indestructible. His only offensive utility in battle, Simon can use his staff to telekinetically lift or move objects of varying size and weight, requiring more effort for larger items. Offensively, the staff can project a blast of concussive telekeinetic force from its tip, or a bolt of destructive electrical energy, focusing Simon's own magic into a focal point. However, when separated from the staff, Simon is unable to utilize its powers, and the staff is little more than a glorified walking stick.






~Other Information~


Other:
  • Like all children of Hecate, Simon's magic is more powerful at night, and weaker in the daytime.
  • Simon, despite his brilliance, is notoriously forgetful when it comes to remembering people's names. Whether this is on purpose or out of general absentmindedness remains to be seen.
  • Simon has a close relationship with his mother, Hecate, who dotes on her son much in the way a loving mortal mother would.
  • Simon shows some level of disdain towards the Olympians, notably for their treatment of his mother before the Second Titan War.
  • Simon has an odd habit of randomly lapsing into periods of silence, even when in mid-sentence. Why he does this is not certain, but he appears to be strained or in deep concentration.
  • Though he takes personal hygiene very seriously, Simon's cabin room ranges slightly disorderly to a complete mess depending on the day.
  • Simon will randomly let his hair grow out at some point during the summer, not getting it cut until it reaches down to the back of his neck.
