Azura can only be described as your average girl-next-door. She is outgoing, friendly, and lives in the moment. She is usually seen with a smile on her face and a song in her heart. On rare occasions, if someone should get on her bad side, her sweet demeanor changes into one of a sassy, eye for an eye nature. Charming, charismatic, sarcastic. It is almost as if she has multiple personality/bipolar disorder. One day she is sweet and friendly, while day after she could be considered a Tsundere (hot tempered/bad girl). She spends most of her free time with her nose stuck in a book, playing a video game, or by playing her cello. Her passion is music, theater and almost any art (pottery, sketching, knitting, etc.) In the future she hopes to go to college and dual major in both Psychology and Advanced Music Studies.

Biography:

Azura had a pretty normal childhood. Her mother works as a culinary chef in the New York's most auspicious Italian restaurant. Her father was a simple mechanic and a stay at home parent. Her only sibling was her younger brother. A two year old named Odessius. Her family lived in a Victorian style suburban home on the corner of Maple Leaf and Middlebury Blvd. The home was painted a sky blue with dark blue shutters. A weeping willow shaded the front lawn, and a playground sat in the backyard. Her home was as warm and inviting as her family. Modern-day hippies some would call them.

She was born on March 12th, a Pisces. Known for being psychic, intuitive, dreamy, and mysterious. She definitely lived up to the reputation of the confused fish.

It seemed that Azura had led a charmed life. She had a loving family, good grades, great personality and talent...
Unfortunately, every Yang has to have its Yin.

Word had spread around Ouran Academy about what had happened to the poor girl. At the end of the previous year, (Shortly after Tamaki asked her to take on the Host Club) tragedy struck, causing Azura to work from home the rest of the school year. Something like that seemed odd to the student body, but these were special circumstances.
Her best friend, lover, and next door neighbor had recently passed away. They had been inseparable since the age of five. His name was James McCoy, recently he had been going down a dark path and try as she might, Azura could not save him. Drowning in his own sorrow he took his own life.
From then on, Azura had never been the same. There was always a sorrow she kept hidden away, one that constantly worried her parents. Even though she kept smiling during the day, they would always hear her horrible sobs at night. As if her soul was screaming in agony.
The reason she keeps on living in the moment and touching others hearts is because she does not want to give anyone a reason to take the drastic measures that James had taken. Including herself.

Now that summer break has ended, she will return to Ouran. Hoping to attempt to make friends and drag herself out of her hidden depression.
Though she dreaded returning to classes in addition to managing an elective, she figured it would be an easier way to get out and meet new people.
That, and her parents basically threw her into the plane to Japan.
Besides... maybe she could find someone to help her like Kyoya had helped Tamaki. Like a Vice President of sorts.

|Biography|: Amanda has lived a very interesting life. Her father is part of the navy, and she has a love of both sailing and the ocean from him. Many times she would watch her father sail away with awe in her young eyes, dreaming of the day that she’d get to do what he does. The rest of her childhood was rather plain in comparison – she had a few friends, more often boys than girls, a real tomboy in her younger days. Most of her friends from when she was younger are gone now, the families having moved to a different base of operations or through retirement have moved from the area. While she misses them, she always looks to the future

It was also from the navy, and the father famous uniforms, that she got her love for cosplay. She was always trying on different clothes at shops, none of which her parents would have picked for a little girl, and she pretended to be whatever she tried on; whether it was a sailor, a cowgirl, or even when she found a silly little nurses uniform and pretended to play doctors and nurses with one of her then friends. This love of cosplay has remained today, and she owns many different outfits.

Amanda must travel further than most to get to school each day, but her parents had insisted that she attend this specific school. Once she had enrolled, and found out about the host club, it all made sense. It was a club made for her – everything was perfect! She was determined to be the very best host ever, no matter what the customer wanted.

Due to an incident that happened as a child, she has a phobia of dogs.

|Biography|: As the fifth born child and the only boy, Kichiro was either outcasted or overly doted on by his siblings, as each of them had their favorite sister, and he was the baby brother. He was not exposed often to sports, though he did excel in school. His father never was very present in his life, and at the age of 11, his parents divorced. All of his sisters left with their father, and from then on, Kichiro was raised by his mother. His mother worked hard to keep him fed and housed.

To keep himself out of trouble, and out of the empty house, Kichiro went to the library often, and read comics and how-to books. He learned to be fairly handy through his readings and became an action and science fiction fanatic. It has since died down a bit, as he does not have as much time to read freely. He still tends to gravitate towards action comics though, hiding a few in his room at all points in time.

At 15, Kichiro's mother married a very wealthy man. Kichiro often quarreled with him over his mother, as he had gotten a bit possessive during the four years they spent by themselves. Eventually, to settle the disputes, at least for a little while, Kichiro was sent to Ouran Academy. He begged his mother to not make him go, but she told him it would be good for him. He's still a bit bitter about it, but he'll manage.

|Personality|: Dimitri comes off as an intimidating character as he, more often than not, towers over most people in the vicinity. He is silent when not spoken to so it gives off the vibe that he's an introvert or some sort of brooding type. However, when spoken to, he is actually quite a nice guy. He would often sport a smile and talk about whatever someone is interested in. He is the type of guy to reflect conversations and avoid topics that are personal - more often than not, he expresses unusual interest to the other person when they try to ask something about himself. Unexpectedly, he's quite sensitive and would often encourage his customers to tell him about their problems.

When not requested for a time, he would go around helping people but still keeps silent. He is often hailed as an errand boy as he has no qualms against being ordered around. He also is a hard worker and doesn't shy away from tedious work, so he ended up with helping to maintain finances and balance their costs. He has a good head on his shoulders and an excellent understanding of money. He is very loyal to Azura. Dimitri has shown that he would go above and beyond for his friends. This, of course, includes anyone in the Host Club. Of course, this also extends to the customers as he assures them that if someone decides to get violent or bully them, he would step up. In the case that there is fighting within their ranks, he would look to Azura for how he will stop it.

He's a hard guy to anger but once you do, you better watch out. His build isn't just for intimidation. He was often called a beast when he wishes to scare someone out of their wits. It takes a lot of effort to get him to calm down again but he tends to make grudges. He doesn't easily forgive unless he has a good reason too. One way to convince him to trust you again is to have a sort of heart to heart talk with him. He can be a little socially awkward hence the reason why he doesn't talk about himself as he feels that he would bore them and they wouldn't come back.

|Biography|: Dimitri was born in Russia but his parents moved to Japan by the time he was three so he doesn't remember much about his mother land. He gathered that his father had to move to Japan after a series of circumstances surrounding his job that then ended with his father taking over the company branch in Japan, which then led to the rise of money for the Volkova famiy. Naturally, Dimitri then grew up with a silver spoon. Anything he wanted was given to him but his parents ingrained the lesson of being humble into him when he was young so he learned how to take a 'no' from his parents and from other people and so he didn't grow up spoiled.

He grew up pretty fast and thus, already towered over his peers. Most people hesitate to talk to him because of this and he ended up with only a few friends. Evidently, it caused him to have trouble actually making friends instead of mere acquaintances. But he wouldn't say that he didn't enjoy his childhood. His few friends were very close and more than happy to make his life a good one even with the few numbers. He also has a little sister, younger by four years. She would usually tag along when the group goes somewhere. She was half the reason why he enjoyed his childhood, up to now really. The two shared a very close bond and whenever they are together, they tend to stick together.

Upon choosing for a high school, his parents decided to send him to Ouran Highschool where they hope that he will be able to make more friends there. Unfortunately, Dimitri didn't fit in as quickly as they expected. Without his old friends, he was at a lost. As he drifted in his first year, he stumbled upon the host club. Originally with no purpose, he asked around about them. He didn't understand much about it and soon it was at the back of his mind. At the end of his first year, he joined the Kendo Club and showed a lot of promise for this.

He continued on and then he heard the rumor that there was another 'King' as Tamaki Suoh had graduated along with everyone else. Curious, he visited once more and was pleasantly surprised that it now accommodated everyone. He joined the host club after a talk with Azura. He was also seeking help to make friends and what better than to, er, 'flirt' with them to get to know them better. While he has been able to garner friends in the Kendo Club, he still wanted to meet more. So far, it's been working and people hasn't tried to shut him out yet so he was pleased with this and decided to continue being part of the club. He feels like he owes a lot to Azura for letting him in, and the other hosts and hostesses for bearing with him.

Due to his past, he has a high tolerance for alcohol.

|Personality|: Charlton has an infectious smile, and a soft voice. He comes across as very happy, even (if not especially) when the situation is stressful. He has an aura of calmness and a very dry sense of humour. He's very independent, and hesitant to rely on others. He radiates natural Fatherly and Motherly qualities, and makes an effort to be wholesome when possible. He often gives advice to his guests, and gives rational, fatherly answers or loving, motherly answers when needed. He's known for being very non-judgmental and accepting. For this reason, he occasionally takes male clients who need advice rather than flirtation even though he's straight. He tends to make the most sensible decisions. Sometimes, but rarely, his dynamic shifts wildly and he becomes rather like a mobster. Some of his female clients however adore this powerful persona, which he hints at and brings out a little as a host.

|Biography|: Charlton grew up in the south of England, in an extremely wealthy family specialising in finances. He has an older brother and sister, who both lead successful and wealthy lives of their own. His family originally sent him to a prestigious academy in the United States, but he hated the students there. It was his own decision to come to Ouran, a school in Japan, to get away from his family and gain a bit of independence.

He has lived by himself, thanks to an endless supply of money, since middle school. The host club is everything he could've wished for: Surrounding himself with cute girls, enjoying expensive delights and wasting time with like-minded people. He used to be a star player for England's youth squad representing his country, but was permanently ruled out of the sport due to an injury in both his legs. It doesn't show as he is usually very lively, but some who are much closer to him will know he's in and out of hospital a lot. He is very good friends with the school's Rugby club, and helps them with events and coaching when the host club lets him.

Among the girls at Ouran he is seen as a dreamy, influential king. Among a lot of the men however there is often a mixture of fear, jealousy and bitterness as Charlton underhandedly deals shadily. His family does not hold especially gigantic businesses, but they have a sweeping influence of investment and power. There is genuine, substantial evidence that links his family to Mafia/Yakuza/Organised Crime in several countries. Charlton and his sister are mostly unaware of the extent of the criminality his brother and father involve themselves with, and exist as the contingency heads of the family if the others are to be found out, arrested, or suspiciously disappear into hiding. For this reason he rarely has contact with his family besides his sister.

|Personality|: Al works to please everyone, he is easy to please and hard to anger. He chooses to kill people with kindness rather than bite people’s heads off. He is a gentle soul who feels for other’s pain and enjoys helping those in need. Al also has a tendency to flirt with pretty much any human, so long as they are a genuinely good person, though he isn’t as smooth as most would think he would be. He often ends up stumbling over his lines and embarrassing himself, which only seems to add to his charm.

|Biography|: Anchor grew up the youngest of 3 in a wealthy family, his mother, a fashion designer and his father a music producer. The boy was born in the U.S.A in the state of California when his mother and father were both there on business. He, being the youngest was not groomed to take over his father’s business, that privilege was given to the eldest son Ocean, and thus gained an interest in his mother’s work, as well as his older sister Lily. It was clear by the time he entered middle school that Anchor had an eye for fashion. He had passed his sister in terms of creativity and design thus turning the girl toward modeling her brother's designs. As he entered high school his mother began helping him get his designs into the world and with a little shove, people began to see his work, though he used the name Malcolm Conroy instead of his own so he wasn’t swarmed in school. He designs both male and female lines and can often be seen wearing his own work outside of school.

Al was never had outstanding grades in school, sure they weren't bad but they certainly weren't good. He is generally average in most classes, excluding two, art and music, for obvious reasons. Though Anchor was not taught to take over the business he still had a good ear and had a rather decent voice himself. Though he does rather favor the violin, at this he excels, enough to be first chair in his orchestra, though he doesn't play much outside of it. In art he excels in drawing people especially, though he isn't very good at much else.

From a young age Anchor was rather good at making friends. In his early years, before middle school, he was usually surrounded by many different types of people. Though this changed toward the end of middle school, when he finally came out as pansexual. People began to avoid him then and he often heard the whispered ridicules of his fellow classmates. For a while this discouraged the boy, and he was, more often than not, seen alone. Though he did have a small group of friends. Toward the middle of his first year in high school the whispers stopped and people seemed to have gotten over him coming out. Though he chose to surround himself with slightly less people and really only had a small group of true friends, everything returned to how it was before and Anchor became his usual bubbly, friendly self once more.

|Personality|: Jack is a short tempered delinquent who is always the first to jump into a fight when presented the chance. Though when there is no fighting to be had, he just simply keeps to himself and ignores the world around him with his music blaring in his ears. On a few occasions Jack will show his kinder side and be a more social individual, but once he catches himself he'll retreat back into his previous state. Annoying Jack is a simple task, just keep pestering him and he'll snap at you like a dog.

|Biography|: Jack comes from a long line of criminals, thugs and drug abusers/sellers. His parents you ask? He never met his mother, but from what he was told by his older brothers she was a simple hooker who bought meth from their father and ended up getting knocked up. A few months after she gave birth to him she just up and died after she threatened Jacks father about going to the police. No one ever told him how exactly she died, but knowing his fathers history of crime and violence it was easy to put the pieces together. His mother not being in the picture never actually bothered him, even when he realized the truth of her demise. His father on the other hand has had a tight leash on Jacks throat for his whole life, commanding and organizing his future without Jacks consent.

As Jack grew up within his fathers plans, he was always surrounded by hired guns to keep an eye on him. He was not trusted, or liked by other members of the family since he was a bastard child of a crime boss and suffered through many forms of abuse and neglect. As he reached his 12th birthday his father decided to loosen his grip and allowed Jack to venture into the cities ghetto streets. From there on out he learned how to fight, sell drugs (and on some occasions use them), avoid the cops and keep a low profile from his father. He soon created a name for himself as a decent drug dealer, earning his nick name, and began his own small operation. It was like a lemonade stand, but with drugs and not in the open. He started small, weed, coke and a few pills, but soon he made a mistake and began to go with bigger products. A mistake both his father and the government had noticed fairly quickly.

Sadly Jack was caught by the FBI and taken into custody. He was looking to do hard time for his crimes, but once the government learned of his tainted blood line they gave him a simple offer. Give up your father and we'll get you out. Jack was quick to take up their offer and was put into the witness protection program. He was flown out of his state, was given a new identity (as Jack) with a enough money to get him by, and enrolled into the Ouran Academy. With a new start Jack heard of a club and thought it could help with keeping a low profile.

Time for a fresh start.

Something she developed from being the middle child, most would assume. She does know how to read a room though, she knows who she can push and how far before she ends up pushing them over the edge and is usually careful about who she can mess with and tease. When she isn’t trying to mess with people she, like her brother, is rather helpful and nice to others. Though unlike her brother she has a rather short temper and can act like a diva when things aren’t going the way she wants them to. (Likely picked up from the time she has spent modeling.) She is also fiercely protective of Anchor and anybody she considers her friend.

|Personality|: Natasha Volkova is a very shy girl. Often heard to be stumbling over her words, Natasha finds it hard to keep a stable conversation with a stranger or even an acquaintance. Stuttering seems to be a real problem for her but no one has figured out why she had gotten this habit. Past the shy violet though is an excitable little girl who gets passionate when talking about something she likes or finding out more about people. She eases around people rather easily after the first meeting but it would certainly help if others were accommodating of her shyness. She shares a very strong bond with her brother.

She seems to value the concept of friendship very much and is rather loyal to those she befriends. Though it only happened rarely, perhaps once or twice in her whole life, she had managed to stand up for her friends - getting past her own barriers to protect her friend's integrity. Natasha is every bit as brave as her brother, even though her personality might fool you into thinking she is not. After all, who would ever think that little Natasha hiding behind her brother could suddenly speak up in a loud voice, drilling down point after point just to defend someone dear to her?

Others: The only reason why she visits the Host Club is to past time until her brother can get out so they can both go back home together. She also attends Ouran Middle School. Natasha and Dimitri have often been doubted to be real siblings because of the difference in appearances - however, DNA samples support that they are actual siblings and it just so happened that they inherited completely different genes. Also, she's just 5'1". She knows a number of martial arts, like her brother, but rarely uses any of them.
