"Sleep is highly over-rated Trust me I know." Katherin stated. She wondered about the fire. How hot was it? "I like campfires. This is my first real one."
"Well, for people like you, whose eyes are never in the here and the now," Ruslan told Katherin, "I just wonder whether you sleep, or worse, whether you're awake while appearing to be sleeping and asleep while appearing to be walking or running, as when we're chased by those agents".
Katherin laughed as she pictured herself running while sleeping. It wouldn't be much different then when she was awake. "That is true. One never knows for sure what I am doing."
Ruslan runs out of words upon hearing Katherin's response. Now what is that woman doing? There is no real way of knowing whether he is speaking to someone who is actually asleep.
"It's orange, sometimes blue, green or red, and it always dances. Have you ever seen them when you look at the future? Or, to put it another way, can you describe how your visions appear to you?" Ruslan answered.
"People rarely look at fires. I see people and events more then objects." Katherin explained . "Fire doesn't effects or changes people's life. Atleast not in good ways."
"So, you only see significant ones, don't you?" Ruslan asked. He thinks for a while, and speculates that the campfire would have revealed their presence and position if there were or are any flying objects such as drones looking for the escaped specials. If that is right, however, that means soon the team will be attacked, and they will have to prepare.
"Significant events. I think it is because ordinary things are easily overlooked. No one thinks about them. No one worries about them. Plus I think I would go crazy if I saw more then I do." Katherin replied warily.
Morning came, pride had to shield his eyes from the sun for a moment so he wouldn't get a bad headache, Sam was already up. Not to Prides surprise, he checked his pistols making sure they were in good shape.
Roxy loved watching the sunrise.Something about it gave her hope. "I don't suppose you have seen a soon set Katherin. The colors are almost impossible to descript. There's organge and pink and yellow."
Pride smiled, pulled out an old notebook he drew the pictures he saw, he flipped to the page where there was a full picture of a sunset colored. He held out the notebook to Roxy, "you mean one like this ."
Pride shook his head, as a piercing head ache started he could feel the pressure behind his eyes. He sat back down making sure he wouldn't fall over in the process, he usually hated these head aches.
Cody looked up as the sun rose. "People find the sunrise amazing because it means a new day has started. Personally, I find the sun setting amazing because it means a new one can begin"
