"That's the problem with us, Liz, they always know where we are," Ruslan said as he concentrates and tears off both wings of the recon drone flying above them.

Liz groaned. "I'm not going to be able to do much my energies are too low. I still think their tracking us somehow. Maybe I should scan everyone."

"I'll keep you sqfe" Cody assured Liz, "if worse comes to worse, I can hide us in the shadows"

Liz smiled at Cody. She was glad that he and Rusland were near. "As long as we don't have to run a mile I should be alright. But healing is out for atleast two days. So do me a favor and be extra careful."

Cody smild "as much as we always are" he said,

cassie knelt next to Moe, who are once sat on his haunches. She ran ahand over the wall, noticing the slight abnormality. "Ruslan?" She stood, "Sintara was showing you ways of opening trick buttons and such in the underground right? I would much rather see if there is a way to open this....door here like that, before just simpky bursting it ooen with my power"

"Why am I not reasurred?" Liz asked. She rubbed her neck. Camping was hard on a body. She wandered what Cassie was talking about.

Ruslan walks to Cassie's direction, and looks at the door. He searches for unnatural indentations, and finds two of them near the door, at shoulder's height. "These are not the real ones," he said. He looks above and finds another indentation two feet above the two fake switches, which he presses, opening the door. "There it is," he said.

Cassie smiled, "thanks" she said brightly, looking down the now narrow, open space. She suddenly had anbad feeling. It looked difficult to trwvel down in daylight, let alone the middle of the night. She went to her pwck, grabbing rope and a flashlight.

she started to tie the rope around her waist, and found somewhere to tie it up to as well, "one of you watch that" she said, turning the flashlight on, she shoved it into her pants pockets, where it hung out. Hoping it wouldnt fall, she went to the edge of the narrow space. It appeaered to be a tunnel going down. A odd natural ladder was along the side. "Ill call out once im at the bottom, okay?"

Roxy didn't like the the idea of Cassie going down there by herself. Still someone did need to make sure that the rope didn't come lose or shred. "Don't go wondering off by yourself."

"I wont" Cassie promised, bfore starting down. She climbed carefully, and had soon reached the bottom. She looked up, but coildnt see Roxy. She looked down, to see if she could see any footsteps, holding the flashlight.

she saw blood.

"Oh, hell" she cursed, called up, untying nerselr, "theres blood. Hurry up and get down, ill just go bit ahead"

Roxy grumbled under her breath about sticking together. She holder to the others. "Going down into the mysterious tunnel. Cassie has found blood. Be on guard."

"This is not good." Katherin said to no one in particular.

Cassie knw she should wait, but she had a horrible feeling. So she didnt. She jogged down the path, the blood becoming larger.

It also looked like Sintara had been lwgging a bit. She was hurt, she hadnt been able to climb back up, had she fallen?

Roxy didn't bother with the tying the rope around her waist. She just hurried down the rope. She knew Cassie wouldn't wait. None of them would. Once at the bottom she hurried down the tunnel. Roxy couldn't see very much, because she hadnt bothered to grab a light. She quickly caught up with Cassie. "Any idea?"

Pride got back he saw the tunnel, he quickly slid down seeing the blood his infrared vision made out two figures Cassie and Roxy. Pride caught up with them easy, he saw the trail of blood it still had the red color of heat in his vision so he had to guess that it could've been at least a few minutes that the blood had been out of the body

"I think she fell" cassie said, "and is hurt, but couldn't climb back up. This tunnel leqds somewhere, where she could get out, and maybe back to the stairs"

" Why wouldn't she stay up? If I fell I wouldn't go wandering off." Roxy studied the ground in what little light the flashlight provided. She couldn't see any signs of anyone but Sintara here. "What do you think Prode was Sintara alone?"

Pride looked forward he saw the blood, but didn't see any other foot prints "she was alone no one was with her I know that much"

Ruslan follows the team down. He falls in the last two metres as he failed to land properly. It brings pain, but Ruslan knows it will wear off soon. "Don't worry guys, I'm fine," he said as soon as he stands up. Not long later, he catches Cassandra up. "If the only way to go up there is through the waterfall or from above, then it has to lead back to the waterfall or it leads nowhere," Ruslan remarked. "Unless ..." he said, without any intention to end the sentence.

"There's a secret way in and out of here that no one knew of" Pride finished the sentence for him

"A teleporter?" Roxy asked.

Katherin dug into her bag. She was sure she had one of those granola bar things. Hopefully it wouldn't be too old. "You better eat Liz. Looks like we might need you at full strength." Liz glared at Katherin. "Don't look at me. It isn't my fault our group has a habit of wondering off. Sintara is injured. I don't know if she will live or if we will find her, but if we do we will need you."
