With the twins in the chopper Roxy begins to climb the ladder. She hopped the others wouldn't be far behind her. They needed to get out of here before they decided to take the helicopter down with them.
Ruslan is assured by Pride's statement and steps into the chopper. There is still space, but as the rest of the team get in, the space will be taken up in the end. "Look carefully. Someone might be attempting to snipe the cockpit," he said as he looks out of the chopper for snipers.
Sam sits in the pilot seat, "there's not a good sniping position, plus pride would be able to see them" pride sits by the door his guns out just in case
Sam wasn't scared flying one of these things, he'd done it plenty of times when he was in the service he flew it with a steady hand even the slightest movement from his hand could......no he wasn't even going to think about what would happen
Liz closed her eyes. Trying not to think about the limited space in the copter. She squeeze Katherin's hand to reassure herself that she wasn't alone. Liz kept her breath's shallow. She had faith that the others would get them out of there.
Ruslan looks outside, but not getting his head or hands out of the chopper for safety reasons. Their pursuers apparently have been caught off guard, for there isn't any chasing them yet. They must've been rushing back to their vehicles, they're miles behind us now, he thought. "We're flying low, Sam, aren't we?" he asks, worrying that it will be easier to detect them on radar if they fly high.
Liz tried to ignore Sintara's wounds. She seriously didn't have the energy to heal them, but her powers refused to ignore any injury. So although it would cost her for days, Liz reached out and began healing Sintara's wounds. It took much longer then it should have because her energies were so low. But once she was done Sintara was as good as new.
Ruslan has got himself struggling against motion sickness. He has been in an airplane before, but helicopters move differently from airplanes, and beside that the very little space in the helicopter has made things worse for him. He managed to prevent himself from worse things such as vomiting, but he really couldn't concentrate on preventing possible attacks directed at them.
"I'm sure you were. Unfortunately my gift doesn't give me slog of choice. I have to heal injuries. I tried to ignore my gift once. It didn't turn out we'll. My gift reaches for wounds, if I guide it I can control how quickly my energies are drained. If I don't guide the energies they will heal as the person as quickly as they can. Which is dangerous to me and the person being healed." Liz said tiredly.
Ruslan didn't really listen to the team's conversation. He tried to sleep to get the motion sickness away, but he couldn't. Instead, his head now feels like a durian, he couldn't rest it upon anything. (For any of you who don't know what durian is, it's a fruit that's sharp all over its rind)
"Well we could always invade a lab." Katherin offered as an idea. "But really are numbers are low, especially when not all of us can use weapons. If we want a chance at surviving taking the battle to them we need to be ready for battle."
